The treatment principle is the same as mentioned above.
**Mendong San (Ophiopogon Powder)**
Take *Ophiopogonis Radix* (Maidong), *Concha Arcae* (Shizhongru), *Tetrapanacis Medulla* (Tongcao), and *Lapis Magnesitae* (Lishi). The above four herbs are taken in equal parts, ground into fine powder, and sieved. Before meals, take one *fangcunbi* (a traditional Chinese measuring spoon, approx. 1 teaspoon) with wine, three times a day.
Another prescription:
Take *Ophiopogonis Radix*, *Tetrapanacis Medulla*, *Lapis Magnesitae*, *Concha Arcae*, *Trichosanthes Thunbergii Radix* (Tugua Gen), *Jujubae Fructus* (Dazao), and *Galerucae Larva* (Qicao). The above seven herbs are taken in equal parts, ground into fine powder, and sieved. After meals, take one *fangcunbi* with wine, three times a day.
Another prescription:
Take one pig trotter, cut coarsely, and boil in two dou (approx. 20 liters) of water until cooked down to obtain five or six sheng (approx. 5-6 liters) of broth. Drink the broth. If lactation does not resume, prepare another batch.
Another prescription:
Two pig trotters (boiled, roasted, and crushed), *Tetrapanacis Medulla* eight liang (approx. 375g, sliced thinly). Soak the above two ingredients in one dou (approx. 10 liters) of clear wine, and drink gradually in small amounts. If lactation does not resume, prepare another batch. (*Waitai Miyao* records this prescription without roasting the trotters: boil two trotters in one dou of water, take four sheng of the decoction, add wine, then add four sheng of water and boil again, then drink.)
Another prescription:
Cut *Trichosanthis Radix* (Gualou Gen) to one sheng, add four sheng of wine, boil for three boils, filter out the dregs, and divide into three doses.
Another prescription:
*Trichosanthis Radix* three liang, *Radix Euphorbiae Humifusae* (Loulu) three liang, *Concha Arcae* four liang, *Radix Pulsatillae* (Baitouweng) one liang, *Talcum* (Huashi) two liang, *Tetrapanacis Medulla* two liang. The above six herbs are ground into fine powder and sieved. Take one *fangcunbi* with wine, three times a day.
Another prescription:
Take one large, still green *Trichosanthes Kirilowii Seed* (Gualou Zi), cook thoroughly, and crush it. Boil in one dou of white wine until reduced to four sheng. Filter out the dregs, take one sheng warm, three times a day. Using two smaller, yellow seeds is also effective.
Another prescription:
Grind *Trichosanthes Thunbergii Radix* into fine powder. Take half a *qianbi* (a smaller traditional measuring spoon) each time, three times a day. Lactation will flow freely like water.
The treatment principle is the same as mentioned above.
**Danxing Guijian Tang (Single Herb Arrowwood Decoction)**
Take five liang of *Ramulus Eucommiae Ulmoides* (Guijian), boil in six sheng of water until reduced to four sheng. Take eight ge (one ge is one-tenth of a sheng) per dose, three times a day. Alternatively, burn the herb to ash, take one *fangcunbi* with water, three times a day.
The treatment principle is the same as mentioned above.
**Gancao San (Licorice Powder)**
*Radicis Glycyrrhizae Preparata* (Gancao) one liang, *Tetrapanacis Medulla* thirty zhu, *Concha Arcae* thirty zhu, *Lapis Micae* (Yunmu) two and a half liang, *Herba Dispersa on Roof* (Wushang Sancao) two handfuls (burned to ash). The above five herbs are ground into fine powder and sieved. After meals, take one *fangcunbi* with warm *Radix Euphorbiae Humifusae* decoction, three times a day, until lactation ceases (or flows freely and the condition resolves).
Another prescription:
Burn dead mice to ash/crumbs, take one *fangcunbi* with wine, three times a day. Lactation will immediately resume; do not let the patient know it contains mouse ash.
Another prescription:
Burn carp heads to powder, take a pinch (three fingers' worth) with wine.
