取雄鸡屎白陈酱汁苦酒和，以洗疮敷之，日一度。
又方
取不中水芜菁叶烧灰，和猪脂敷之。
千金翼疗小儿秃疮，无发苦痒方。
野葛（一两） 猪脂 羊脂（各一合）
上三味合煎令消，待冷以敷之，不过三上。（千金同）
备急疗苦头生疮，白秃不生发，有汁出，或无汁干燥痛方。
煮鸡子（七枚剥去白）
上一味，取黄于铜器中急火熬干末，以敷之，取瘥为度。
又方
取春秋桃叶心，无问多少，捣汁涂之。（千金并翼治小儿头不生发取楸叶捣汁以敷头上

胡粉（一两） 黄连（二两）
上二味为末，先洗疮去痂，拭干敷之即愈，更发如前敷之。

胡粉（二两） 白松脂（三两） 水银（一两研） 猪脂（四两）
上四味合煎，去滓内胡粉水银，搅令和调敷之，大人同。（翼同）
救急疗小儿头疮经年不瘥，差而复发方。
雄黄（研） 大黄 黄柏 黄芩 姜黄 雌黄（研） 白芷 当归 青木香（各四分）
上九味切 咀，以苦酒浸一宿，以猪脂一大升煎，候白芷色黄。膏成，去滓，入水银一
两以唾于手中研令消，入膏搅相得，于瓷器中收，每以皂荚汤洗疮干拭，以膏涂之，日夜再
换，以瘥为度。

取不经过水浸泡的芜菁叶，烧成灰，与猪脂混合后敷贴。
《千金翼方》治疗小儿秃疮，无头发且剧烈瘙痒的方剂。

以上三味药合在一起煎煮至融化，待冷却后敷贴，不超过三次。（《千金方》相同）
《备急千金要方》治疗头部生疮、白秃不生发、有渗出液或无渗出液干燥疼痛的方剂。
煮鸡蛋（七个，剥去蛋白）
以上一味药，取蛋黄在铜器中用急火熬干研末，用来敷贴，以痊愈为度。
另一个方子：
取春秋季节桃树叶心，不论多少，捣汁涂抹。（《千金方》及《千金翼方》治疗小儿头部不生发，取楸叶捣汁敷于头上，可愈）
另一个方子：
取腊月猪屎干末，用来敷贴，以痊愈为度。
《千金方》治疗小儿头疮的方剂。
胡粉（一两） 黄连（二两）
以上两味药研成末，先清洗疮口去除痂皮，擦干后敷贴即可痊愈，复发时再按前法敷贴。
另一个方子：
胡粉（二两） 白松脂（三两） 水银（一两，研细） 猪脂（四两）
以上四味药合在一起煎煮，滤去渣滓，加入胡粉和水银，搅拌调和后敷贴，成人用法相同。（《千金翼方》相同）
《救急仙方》治疗小儿头疮经年不愈，好了又复发的方剂。

以上九味药切碎，用苦酒浸泡一夜，用一大升猪脂煎煮，等到白芷颜色变黄。膏成后，滤去渣滓，将一两水银放入唾液中研磨至溶解，加入膏中搅拌均匀，收于瓷器中。每次用皂荚汤清洗疮口并擦干，涂上药膏，日夜更换两次，以痊愈为度。
The *Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) provides formulas for treating pediatric scalp tinea capitis (ringworm of the scalp).
Formula for treating pediatric scalp tinea capitis:
Take aged white excrement of a rooster, mix with soy sauce and vinegar, wash the lesion, and apply as a dressing once daily.
Another formula:
Burn leaves of turnip (*Brassica rapa*) that have not been soaked in water to ash, mix with lard, and apply.
The *Qianjin Yifang* (Supplement to Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) provides a formula for treating pediatric tinea capitis with alopecia and severe pruritus:
*Puerariae Radix* (Liangge, 野葛) [1 liang], Porcine Adipose Tissue (Zhu Zhi, 猪脂), Ovine Adipose Tissue (Yang Zhi, 羊脂) [each 1 he].
Combine the above three ingredients, decoct until melted, allow to cool, and apply. Not more than three applications are needed. (Same as *Qianjin Fang*).
The *Beiji Qianjin Yaofang* (Emergency Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) provides a formula for treating scalp sores, white alopecia without hair growth, with or without discharge, or dry painful lesions:
Boiled Chicken Eggs (7 eggs, remove whites):
Take only the yolks from this single ingredient, dry-roast them over high heat in a copper vessel until powdered, and apply. Continue until healed.
Another formula:
Take the heart of peach leaves collected in spring or autumn, regardless of quantity, crush to extract juice, and apply. (Both *Qianjin Fang* and *Qianjin Yifang* treat pediatric scalp alopecia by crushing catalpa leaves (*Catalpa ovata*), extracting juice, and applying to the head; it heals.)
Another formula:
Roast crucian carp (*Carassius auratus*), grind into powder, mix with soy sauce, and apply. (Same as above.)
Another formula:
Take dried feces of pigs collected in the twelfth lunar month, grind into powder, and apply. Continue until healed.
The *Qianjin Fang* provides formulas for treating pediatric scalp impetigo/sores:
Lead Carbonate (Hu Fen, 胡粉) [1 liang], *Coptidis Rhizoma* (Huanglian, 黄连) [2 liang]:
Grind the above two ingredients into powder. First wash the lesion to remove crusts, dry thoroughly, and apply. It will heal immediately; if it recurs, apply again as before.
Another formula:
Lead Carbonate (Hu Fen, 胡粉) [2 liang], White Pine Resin (Bai Song Zhi, 白松脂) [3 liang], Mercury (Shui Yin, 水银) [1 liang, finely ground], Porcine Adipose Tissue (Zhu Zhi, 猪脂) [4 liang]:
Decoct the above four ingredients together, strain, then add Lead Carbonate and Mercury. Stir well to mix and apply. The method is the same for adults. (Same as *Qianjin Yifang*).
The *Jiuji Xianfang* (Emergency Immortal Prescriptions) provides a formula for treating chronic pediatric scalp sores that do not heal for years and recur after apparent cure:
Realgar (Xiong Huang, 雄黄, finely ground), *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma* (Dahuang, 大黄), *Phellodendri Cortex* (Huangbai, 黄柏), *Scutellariae Radix* (Huangqin, 黄芩), *Curcumae Longae Rhizoma* (Jianghuang, 姜黄), Orpiment (Cihuang, 雌黄, finely ground), *Angelicae Dahuricae Radix* (Baizhi, 白芷), *Angelicae Sinensis Radix* (Danggui, 当归), *Aucklandiae Radix* (Qingmuxiang, 青木香) [each 4 fen]:
Finely chop the above nine ingredients, soak in vinegar overnight. Decoct with one sheng of porcine adipose tissue until Baizhi turns yellow. Strain the膏 (ointment). Grind 1 liang of Mercury in saliva until dissolved, incorporate into the ointment, stir well, and store in a porcelain container. Before each application, wash the lesion with soap pod (*Gleditsia sinensis*) decoction, dry, and apply the ointment. Change twice daily (day and night) until healed.
