朱砂（研） 雄黄 水银霜（各半两） 胡粉（二两） 黄鹰屎（一升）
上五味合和，洗净面夜涂。以一两霜和面脂令稠如泥。先于夜欲卧时以澡豆净极洗面，
并手
干拭，以药涂面，浓薄如寻常涂面浓薄，乃以指细细熟摩之令药与肉相入，乃卧，一上经五
日五夜勿洗面止，就上作粉即得要不洗面至第六夜，洗面涂一如前法，满三度涂洗更不涂也，

延年洗面药方。

豆（二升） 冬瓜仁（二升去皮） 猪蹄（三具）
上十八味捣为散，和荜豆以水桃仁冬瓜仁黄瓜蒌子，揉之令碎，猪蹄汁中 令散和药作
饼子，曝干捣筛更和猪蹄汁，又捻作饼更曝干，汁尽乃止，捣筛为散，稍稍以洗手面妙。
千金疗人令面悦泽好颜色方。

上一味，用粳米饭浆水研之令细，以浆水捣取汁，令桃仁尽即休微温用，洗面时长

擦干，然后用药涂抹面部，厚薄程度如同平时涂面霜的厚度，接着用手指细细地反复按摩，使药物渗入皮肤，然后躺下睡觉，连续五个昼夜不要洗脸即可，如果做成粉状使用也可以，只要不洗脸直到第六个夜晚，洗脸后再按前面的方法涂抹，总共进行三次涂洗后就不再涂抹了，这就像
延年益寿的洗面药方。

以上十八味药捣碎成散剂，用荜豆配合水、桃仁、冬瓜仁、黄瓜蒌子，揉搓使其破碎，加入猪蹄汁中
使药散开和匀做成
饼状，晒干后捣碎过筛，再混合猪蹄汁，再次捏成饼状并晒干，直到汁液用完为止，最后捣碎过筛成散剂，稍微用来洗手洗脸效果很好。
《千金方》治疗使人面色光润美好的方子。

以上一味药，用粳米饭浆水研磨至细腻，用浆水捣取汁液，直到桃仁完全化尽即停止，微温时使用，洗脸时长期极
Facial cleansing prescriptions from *Qianjin Yifang* (Supplement to the Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold).
Cinnabar (ground), Realgar, Calomel (Mercurous Chloride) (each 0.5 liang), Bai-fen (Lead Carbonate) (2 liang), Yellow Hawk Droppings (1 sheng).
Mix the above five ingredients thoroughly. Wash the face clean and apply at night. Mix one liang of Calomel with facial grease until it is thick like mud. First, before going to bed at night, wash the face extremely clean using bath beans (soap made from legumes), wipe dry with hands, then apply the medicine to the face. The thickness should be similar to ordinary facial cream application. Then, use fingers to gently and repeatedly massage until the medicine penetrates the skin, then lie down to sleep. Do not wash the face for five days and nights. If preparing as a powder, this method is acceptable, but one must not wash the face until the sixth night. On the sixth night, wash the face and reapply according to the previous method. Repeat this cycle three times; after three applications and washes, no further application is needed.
This is identical to the facial cleansing prescription from *Yannian Fang* (Longevity Prescription).
Jade Vine Root (*Polygala tenuifolia*), Pokeweed Root (*Phytolacca acinosa*), Trichosanthes Fruit (*Trichosanthes kirilowii*), *Dorystaechas*, Talcum Powder (each 8 liang), Earth Melon Root (*Benincasa hispida* root), Ligusticum Rhizome (*Ligusticum chuanxiong*), Magnolia Flower Bud (*Magnolia biondii*), Sweet Osmanthus (*Nardostachys jatamansi*) (each 3 liang), Cucumber Melon Bean (2 sheng), Winter Melon Seed (2 sheng, peeled), Pig Trotters (3 pieces).
Pound the above eighteen ingredients into a coarse powder. Combine with *Bidi* beans. Soak Peach Kernel, Winter Melon Seed, and Cucumber Melon Seed in water, rubbing them until broken. Add pig trotter juice to disperse the powder. Form into cakes, sun-dry, pound, and sieve. Re-mix with pig trotter juice, reshape into cakes, and sun-dry again. Continue until the juice is exhausted. Finally, pound and sieve into a fine powder. Use sparingly to wash hands and face for excellent results.
Prescription from *Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) to improve complexion and luster.
Pig Pancreas (3 pieces), Turnip Seed (*Brassica rapa* var. *nipposinica*), Trichosanthes Seed (*Trichosanthes kirilowii*), Peach Kernel (*Prunus persica*, peeled) (3 liang).
Mix the above four ingredients with wine, pound into a paste, and apply to the face. Avoid wind and sunlight for best results.
Another prescription:
Soak peach blossoms picked on the third day of the third lunar month in wine. Ingesting it improves complexion and treats various diseases.
Yet another prescription:
Collect peach blossoms from three plants, dry them in the shade, and grind into a powder. Take one cun-bi (a square-inch measure) with wine, three times daily, to achieve a radiant and rosy complexion. (From Volume VI)
Prescription from *Qianjin Yifang* to impart radiance to the face.
Litharge (Lead Monoxide) fried in milk and applied. The face will naturally become radiant. (From Volume V)
Peach Kernel Facial Cleansing Prescription from *Yannian Fang* to dispel wind and impart luster.
Peach Kernel (*Prunus persica*, peeled) (5 he).
Take this single ingredient. Grind finely using rice water (the starchy water left from washing glutinous rice). Extract the juice by pounding with rice water until the kernel is fully processed. Stop here. Use while slightly warm. Long-term use during facial cleansing yields excellent results.
