五色龙骨，研磨成细粉。吹入耳中即可止血。另外，取人牙（煅烧存性），去除火毒，加入少许麝香，共同研磨后吹入耳中。
耳内有虫，脓血淋漓不干。取鸡蛋一个用香油炒熟，猪肝四五钱用香油炒熟，黑芝麻一升炒熟后研碎，与胭脂、陈皮、灯草（烧成灰各一钱）、冰片（一分）一起研磨均匀，吹入耳中。
耳内生有颗粒，大小如棉花子，极度疼痛，名为“耳疳”（注：原文作“耳定”，据上下文及中医常识应为耳疳或类似病症，此处依原文译）。取人指甲在瓦上焙焦存性，研磨成末，加入少许牙色梅花冰片，吹入耳中，效果极佳。
耳道闭塞不通，又伴有疼痛。取大田螺一个，拨开盖子，放入麝香五分，田螺会自然化成水滴，滴入耳中。或者每天不时地这样做，久而久之，效果神奇。
取生乌头一个，趁湿削成枣核大小，塞入耳中，每天更换数次，过三到五天即可痊愈，但久用恐怕会导致耳聋。
取生地黄截断塞入耳中，每天更换十次，病愈。或者用纸包裹，在微火中煨热后塞入。或者取巴豆二枚（去皮熬制）、松脂（如大豆大小），捣制成两丸，用绵裹住塞入耳中。
耳疳、震耳、缠耳、停耳、风耳。各种症状都是耳内闷肿出脓，只是脓的颜色不同，名称各异。
耳疳：取核桃和冰片，滴入即愈。或者取桑螵蛸一个（烧存性）、麝香一分，研磨成末掺入，神效。若有脓，先绞净。或者滴入鳝鱼血，效果很好。或者取白矾（煅烧研细），加入少许麝香，用绵裹住塞入耳中。或者取头发（在瓦上烧存性），研磨后吹入，神效。
Five-color Longgu (Fossilized Bones, *Longgu*) is ground into a fine powder. Blown into the ear, it stops bleeding immediately. Alternatively, Renya (Human Tooth, preserved by calcination) is used after removing its "fire toxicity," mixed with a small amount of Shexiang (Musk, *Moschus*), ground together, and blown into the ear.
If there are insects in the ear and pus and blood do not dry up: Take one Jiandan (Chicken Egg, stir-fried with Sesame Oil), 4-5 qian of Zhugan (Pig Liver, stir-fried with Sesame Oil), and one sheng of Heihizhi (Black Sesame Seed, stir-fried and ground). Mix these with Yanzhi (Vermilion/Carmine), Chenpi (Dried Tangerine Peel), Dengcao (Juncus Effusus Ash, each 1 qian burnt to ash), and Bingpian (Borneol, 1 fen). Grind uniformly and blow into the ear.
A grain-like growth appears inside the ear, the size of a cotton seed, causing extreme pain; this is named Erding (Ear Knot/Obstruction). Renzhijia (Human Nail, calcined on tile until carbonized) is ground into powder, added with a small amount of Yase Meihua Bingpian (Tooth-colored Plum Blossom Borneol), and blown into the ear. This is extremely effective.
For ear blockage and pain: Take one Datianluo (Large River Snail), remove the operculum, insert 5 fen of Shexiang (Musk). The snail naturally liquefies into drops which are instilled into the ear. Alternatively, perform this frequently daily; over time, it becomes miraculously effective.
Apply Zhengyan (Steamed Salt) wrapped in soft cloth for hot compress. Alternatively, squeeze juice from Wasong (Parmotrema Perlatum / Rock Moss) and instill into the ear.
Grind Jinyu (Curcuma Wenyujin Rhizome) to extract juice and instill. Alternatively, crush fresh Huercao (Saxifraga Stolonifera / Golden Heart Plant) to extract juice and instill.
Take one Shengwutou (Raw Aconitum Carmichaelii Lateral Root), peel while moist into the size of a jujube pit, and plug into the ear. Change several times a day. It heals in three to five days, but prolonged use may cause deafness.
Cut Shengdihuang (Fresh Rehmannia Root) and plug into the ear, changing ten times a day until healed. Alternatively, wrap in paper, warm slightly in fire, and plug. Or, take two Bidou (Croton Seed, peeled and cooked) and Songzhi (Pine Resin, size of soybean), pound into two pills, wrap in silk, and plug into the ear.
Erkan (Ear Fungus/Gangrene), Zhen'er (Buzzing Ear), Chan'er (Coiling Ear), Ting'er (Stopping Ear), Feng'er (Wind Ear). All these conditions involve internal ear stuffiness, swelling, and pus discharge, differing only in pus color and name.
Erkan: Crush Hetaoren (Walnut Kernel) and mix with Bingpian (Borneol), instill to heal. Alternatively, take one Sangpiaoxiao (Mantis Egg Case, calcined), 1 fen of Shexiang (Musk), grind into powder, and sprinkle into the ear. This is miraculous. First, clean out any pus. Alternatively, instill Shanxue (Eel Blood), which is very effective. Alternatively, take Baifan (Alumen, calcined and ground), add a small amount of Shexiang (Musk), wrap in silk, and plug into the ear. Alternatively, take Tofa (Hair, calcined on tile), grind, and blow into the ear. This is miraculous.
