又用井底泥土混合苔藓贴在囟门上，立即止血。或用石榴花瓣塞入鼻孔，或将萝卜汁、藕汁滴入鼻内，或将煅龙骨吹入鼻腔，或贴敷于左足心（右鼻出血贴左足心，左鼻出血贴右足心，双侧出血则双侧都贴），立即见效。又用莲蓬壳（保留药性）吹入鼻腔，或用栀子研成细末吹入鼻腔，或用槐花末吹入鼻腔，或者突然用水泼脸，鼻血即止。又左侧鼻出血用棉絮塞住右耳，应验。又将青蒿草塞入鼻中，鼻血即止。又用井水磨陈年的京墨，用灯芯草蘸取后塞入鼻孔。又用多年的尿壶熏蒸，立即止血。又用生吴茱萸研成细末，用唾液调和涂在足底的涌泉穴上。或用山栀子炒黑后研成细末塞入鼻孔，即可痊愈。又用纸条浓蘸真麻油插入鼻孔引发喷嚏，有效。
将鹅不食草捣烂塞入鼻孔，息肉自然脱落。又取藕节有毛处的一节，烧至存性后研成细末，吹入患处有效。又用甜瓜蒂（最好在农历七月七日采收的更好）和白矾末（各五分），用棉包裹后塞入鼻孔。或者用猪脂和药挺子塞入鼻孔，每天更换一次。
将赤小豆（五分）、砂仁（五分）共研成细末，每次取三四分吹入鼻腔，息肉即可化解。
将细辛和瓜蒂（各等分）研成细末吹入鼻腔，片刻后鼻涕流出，频繁吹入即可痊愈。又用陈旧的瓜蒂捣碎取汁使用，可治愈。
将旧麻鞋烧成灰，吹入鼻腔即可通气。又将通草、细辛、附子共研成细末，用蜂蜜调匀后用棉包裹塞入鼻中。又用菖蒲（虫蛀者佳）共研成细末，每次用一钱，用棉包裹塞入鼻孔，仰卧片刻，有效。皂角末单独使用吹入鼻腔，也有效。
Burn *Manis pentadactyla* (Pangolin Scale) to ash, grind into powder, mix with water, and instill into the ear. Simultaneously, pull and move the ear with hand; the parasites will exit.

Alternatively, apply mud from the bottom of a well mixed with moss to the fontanelle to stop bleeding immediately. Or stuff pomegranate petals into the nostrils. Alternatively, drip radish juice or lotus root juice into the nose. Or blow calcined *Fossilia Os* (Longgu) into the nasal cavity. Apply to the sole of the left foot if the right nostril bleeds, to the right foot if the left nostril bleeds, and to both feet if both nostrils bleed. Immediate effect. Alternatively, blow dried *Nelumbinis Nelumbo* (Lianpengke) shell into the nose. Alternatively, grind *Gardeniae Fructus* (Zhizi) into powder and blow it into the nose. Alternatively, blow *Sophorae Flos* (Huaihua) powder into the nose. Alternatively, suddenly splash water on the face to stop bleeding. Alternatively, stuff cotton into the opposite ear for unilateral epistaxis (stuff right ear for left bleed). This is effective. Alternatively, insert *Artemisiae Annuae Herba* (Qinghao) into the nose to stop bleeding. Alternatively, grind old *Jingmo* (Beijing ink) with well water, dip a rush light (*Jiedanca*) into the mixture, and stuff it into the nostril. Alternatively, fumigate with an old chamber pot to stop bleeding immediately. Alternatively, grind raw *Evodiae Fructus* (Wuyu) into powder, mix with saliva, and apply to the Yongquan acupoint (KI1) on the soles of the feet. Alternatively, stir-fry *Gardeniae Fructus* (Zhizi) until black, grind into powder, and stuff into the nostrils to cure. Alternatively, dip a paper strip in pure sesame oil, insert into the nose to induce sneezing. Effective.
Mash *Centipedae Herba* (Ebusicao) and stuff into the nostrils; polyps will fall off spontaneously. Alternatively, take one segment of lotus rhizome node where hairs are present, burn until carbonized but retaining efficacy, grind into powder, and blow into the affected area. Effective. Alternatively, use *Cucumeris Melo Fructus* (Tian Guadi), preferably harvested on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, and *Alumen* (Baifan) powder (each 5 fen), wrap in cotton, and stuff into the nostril. Alternatively, mix with pig fat and insert a medicated suppository. Change once daily.
Grind *Phaseoli Vulgaris Semen Rubrum* (Chixiaodou, 5 fen) and *Amomi Fructus* (Sharen, 5 fen) together into powder. Blow 3-4 fen into the nasal cavity; the polyp will dissolve.
Grind *Asari Radix et Rhizoma* (Xixin) and *Cucumeritis Fructus* (Guadi) in equal parts into powder and blow into the nose. After a short while, nasal discharge occurs. Frequent application leads to cure. Alternatively, crush old *Cucumeritis Fructus* (Guadi) and extract juice for use. Curative.
Burn old hemp shoes to ash and blow into the nose to restore patency. Alternatively, grind *Akebiae Caulis* (Tongcao), *Asari Radix et Rhizoma* (Xixin), and *Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata* (Fuzi) into powder, mix with honey, wrap in cotton, and insert into the nose. Alternatively, grind *Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma* (Shichangpu, those infested by insects are preferred) into powder. Use 1 qian per dose, wrap in cotton, stuff into the nostril, and lie supine for a short time. Effective. Blowing *Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina* (Zaojiao) powder alone into the nose is also effective.
