黄连（六分） 黄芩 归尾 连翘（各一钱半） 木通 甘草（各一钱）

治喉痛顷刻而起，前无毫恙者，此虚寒阴火之症也。并治喉痹一切危急之症。
肉桂 炮姜 甘草（各五分，各研极细末）
滚水冲掉，将碗顿于滚水内，再掉，慢以咽下，立愈。但先以鹅毛蘸桐油，入喉卷痰，
痰出
服药更效。又法∶以生川附切片，涂以白蜜，火炙透黑，收贮瓷瓶，临如取如粞大一粒，口
含咽津，立愈。
治子痈。
枸橘（全枚） 川楝 秦艽 陈皮 防风 泽泻 赤芍 甘草（各一钱五分）
煎服。
治牙痈。
龙胆草 归尾（各二钱） 银花 花粉 连翘 黄芩（各一钱半） 丹皮 防风 木通 知

马曰∶能泻肝火，解毒。
治一切暑热，头面生石疖。
连翘 花粉 赤芍 银花 甘草 滑石 车前 泽泻（各等分）
煎服，外贴洞天膏，补起即消，溃者亦敛。
治杨梅结毒，恶疮复发者。
牛蒡子 忍冬藤 紫花地丁草 白甘菊（各等分）
煎服。
治遗精，并治一切溃烂，不能敛口者，立效。
熟地 山萸 山药 泽泻 丹皮 云苓
煎服。如治遗精，删去泽泻，加入龙骨、线鱼胶二味。
治疗阴囊脱垂。

用滚开水冲服，将碗放在滚水中保温，再晃动，慢慢咽下，立刻痊愈。但先用鹅毛蘸桐油，伸入喉咙卷出痰液，
痰液排出后
再服药效果更佳。另一种方法：取生川附子切片，涂上白蜜，用火烤至透黑，收藏在瓷瓶中，使用时取如米粒大小的一粒，含在口中吞咽津液，立刻痊愈。
治疗子痈（睾丸炎）。

治疗牙痈（牙龈脓肿）。

治疗各种暑热，头面部生石疖（坚硬如石的疖肿）。
连翘 天花粉 赤芍 金银花 甘草 滑石 车前子 泽泻（各等分）
煎汤服用，外用洞天膏贴敷，未溃破者即消，已溃破者也能收敛愈合。
治疗杨梅结毒（梅毒硬下疳或晚期梅毒表现），恶疮复发的情况。

煎汤服用。
治疗遗精，并治疗各种溃烂、不能收口愈合的情况，立见功效。
熟地黄 山茱萸 山药 泽泻 牡丹皮 云茯苓
煎汤服用。如果是治疗遗精，去掉泽泻，加入龙骨、线鱼胶两味药。
外症溃破后，老年人身体虚弱者服用。
党参 黄芪 白芍 冬术（白术） 肉桂 云茯苓 当归身 熟地黄 川芎 甘草（或生用或炙用，视情况而定）
分量随病情斟酌，煎汤服用。
Treats scrotal prolapse (Nang Tuo).
Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 黄连) [6 fen], Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin, 黄芩), Angelicae Sinensis Radix Caulis (Guiwei, 归尾), Forsythiae Fructus (Lianqiao, 连翘) [1.5 qian each], Akebiae Caulis (Mutong, 木通), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草) [1 qian each].
Decoct and take orally.
Treats sudden onset of sore throat without prior symptoms; this is a syndrome of deficiency-cold with Yin fire. It also treats all critical conditions of Bi syndrome of the throat (Hou Bi).
Cinnamomi Cortex (Rougui, 肉桂), Prepared Zingiberis Rhizoma (Paojiang, 炮姜), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草) [5 fen each, ground into extremely fine powder separately].
Flush with boiling water, keep the bowl in boiling water to maintain heat, shake gently, and swallow slowly for immediate relief. However, first use a goose feather dipped in tung oil to induce vomiting of phlegm from the throat. After the phlegm is expelled, taking the medicine yields better results. Another method: Slice raw Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Chuanfuzi, 川附子), coat with white honey, roast over fire until thoroughly blackened, and store in a porcelain bottle. Before use, take a grain-sized piece, hold in the mouth, and swallow saliva for immediate relief.
Treats Zi Yong (testicular inflammation/abscess).
Poncirus Trifoliata Fructus (Gouju, 枸橘) [whole fruit], Toosendan Fructus (Chuanlianzi, 川楝), Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix (Qinjiao, 秦艽), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi, 陈皮), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie, 泽泻), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishao, 赤芍), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草) [1.5 qian each].
Decoct and take orally.
Treats Ya Yong (dental abscess/gum swelling).
Gentianae Radix (Longdancao, 龙胆草), Angelicae Sinensis Radix Caulis (Guiwei, 归尾) [2 qian each], Lonicerae Japonicae Flos (Yinhua, 银花), Typhae Pollen (Huafen, 花粉), Forsythiae Fructus (Lianqiao, 连翘), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin, 黄芩) [1.5 qian each], Moutan Cortex (Danpi, 丹皮), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风), Akebiae Caulis (Mutong, 木通), Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Zhimu, 知母), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草) [1 qian each].
Decoct and take orally.
Ma stated: It can clear Liver fire and detoxify.
Treats various summer-heat conditions and Shi Jie (hard, stone-like boils) on the head and face.
Forsythiae Fructus (Lianqiao, 连翘), Typhae Pollen (Huafen, 花粉), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishao, 赤芍), Lonicerae Japonicae Flos (Yinhua, 银花), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草), Talcum (Huashi, 滑石), Plantaginis Semen (Cheqian, 车前), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie, 泽泻) [equal parts].
Decoct and take orally; apply Dongtian Gao externally. If not ulcerated, it resolves immediately; if ulcerated, it promotes healing.
Treats Yangmei Jiedu (syphilitic chancres or late-stage syphilis manifestations) and recurrence of malignant sores.
Arctii Fructus (Niubangzi, 牛蒡子), Lonicerae Japonicae Caulis (Renwendeng, 忍冬藤), Violae Herba (Zihuadidingcao, 紫花地丁草), Chrysanthemi Indici Flos (Baiganju, 白甘菊) [equal parts].
Decoct and take orally.
Treats spermatorrhea and all types of ulcers that fail to heal/close, with immediate effect.
Prepared Rehmanniae Radix (Shudi, 熟地), Corni Fructus (Shanzhuyu, 山萸), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao, 山药), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie, 泽泻), Moutan Cortex (Danpi, 丹皮), Poria (Yunling, 云苓).
Decoct and take orally. For treating spermatorrhea, remove Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie, 泽泻) and add Longgu (Dragon Bone, 龙骨) and Xianyujiao (Fish Maw Glue, 线鱼胶).
For elderly patients with weakness after external ulcers have ulcerated.
Codonopsis Radix (Dangshen, 党参), Astragali Radix (Huangqi, 黄芪), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao, 白芍), Atractylodis Rhizoma (Dongzhu/Baizhu, 冬术), Cinnamomi Cortex (Rougui, 肉桂), Poria (Yunling, 云苓), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Guishen, 归身), Prepared Rehmanniae Radix (Shudi, 熟地), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong, 川芎), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, 甘草) [raw or roasted, decided according to circumstances].
