升麻四物汤 治血虚牙痛。

珠金丸
牙痛内外俱肿。状类伤寒发颐者。为搜牙风。先以绀珠丹汗之。次以贵金丸下之。再次用清痰降火
之药调理。
羌活附子汤 治冬月大寒犯脑。令人脑牙俱疼。名曰脑风。
麻黄 附子（各三分） 羌活 苍术（各五分） 黄 （一分） 防风 甘草 升麻 僵蚕
黄柏 白芷（各二分） 佛耳草
用水钟半。煎八分。热服。
定痛塞耳丹
细辛 盆硝（各一钱） 雄黄（五分） 牙皂（二个）
为末。用大蒜一枚。杵和为丸。梧子大。每用一丸。绵裹之。如左牙疼塞左耳。右牙痛塞右耳。良久即止。
一丸可治数人。
固齿白玉膏 治一切牙疼。及齿动摇而不坚固者。
龙骨（一两） 阳起石（五钱二味火 通红淬后药汁内七次） 铅粉（一两） 珍珠（三钱）

各末和匀。黄蜡三两溶化。滤净再化。俟温方入前药。和匀。乘热摊纸上。如冷。烧热熨斗仰放。纸铺斗
上摊之。用时先漱口净。剪小条贴齿根上。闭口勿语。过宿如失。
制龙骨阳起石药汁方
僵蚕（四十九个） 防风 当归 川芎 牙皂 青盐 升麻 白芷 骨皮（各五钱） 细辛 本（各三钱）
为粗末。长流水于砂锅内桑柴火熬汁。去渣再煎汁一碗。以淬前药。七次。焙干为末。
蟾酥丸（见疔疮门） 绵裹一粒。咬痛牙上。其痛立止。甚者用真蟾酥麦粒大咬之。更验。然痛牙即爆落
如手取。齿根肿痛出脓者。名曰风龋。及治虫蚀疼痛。
干虾蟆（一个烧灰） 青黛（一分） 芦荟（半分）
共为末。用生地黄煎膏。和药涂之。
补蛀丹 虫牙痛者。研新巴豆和乳香。末为丸。塞蛀孔内。如虫已去而孔内空痛者。只用乳香炙软塞
之。
落齿方
老鼠一枚。入 砂一钱于肚内。碗盛密盖。自烂生蛆。取蛆炙干为末。用时以刀剔破牙根四围而后
涂之。半刻自落。
连翘汤：治疗各种牙痛。根据之前的症状进行加减。
黄芩、黄连、当归、赤芍（各一钱五分）、连翘（一钱）、天花粉、玄参（各七分）、枳壳（五分）。
用水二钟，煎至八分，饭后服用。
加味凉膈散：治疗湿热引起的牙疼，伴有腮部和颧骨浮肿，疼痛牵引至太阳穴，口热且便秘的情况。根据本方加入石膏、升麻、淡竹叶。
水煎，加蜂蜜调服。
治疗牙痛日久不愈，各种药物无效的情况。只用石膏一两、升麻五钱，水煎服，有效。
升麻四物汤：治疗血虚引起的牙痛。
当归、川芎、赤芍、生地、白芷（各一钱）、黄芩（一钱）、升麻（五钱）、蒲公英（五钱）。
用水半碗，煎至八分，饭后服用。
珠金丸：
牙齿内外俱肿，形状类似伤寒发颐的，称为搜牙风。先用绀珠丹发汗，再用贵金丸泻下，最后用清痰降火的药物调理。
羌活附子汤：治疗冬季大寒侵袭脑部，导致头脑和牙齿都疼痛，名为脑风。
麻黄、附子（各三分）、羌活、苍术（各五分）、黄芪（一分）、防风、甘草、升麻、僵蚕、黄柏、白芷（各二分）、佛耳草。
用水一钟半，煎至八分，热服。
定痛塞耳丹：
细辛、盆硝（各一钱）、雄黄（五分）、牙皂（二个）。
研为细末，用一枚大蒜捣烂混合制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次用一丸，用棉包裹，如果左边牙疼就塞入左耳，右边牙疼就塞入右耳，过一会儿疼痛就会停止。
一丸可以治疗几个人。
固齿白玉膏：治疗各种牙疼，以及牙齿松动不坚固的情况。
龙骨（一两）、阳起石（五钱，这两味药火煅通红后，在药汁中淬炼七次）、铅粉（一两）、珍珠（三钱）、象牙末（五钱）、麝香（二钱）。
各药研成细末混合均匀，将三两黄蜡熔化，过滤后再熔化，待温度降低后加入前面的药粉，混合均匀。趁热摊在纸上，如果冷了，就用烧热的熨斗仰放，将纸铺在斗上摊开。使用时先漱口干净，剪成小条贴在齿根上，闭口不说话，过一夜就像没病一样。
制龙骨阳起石药汁方：
僵蚕（四十九个）、防风、当归、川芎、牙皂、青盐、升麻、白芷、地骨皮（各五钱）、细辛、藁本（各三钱）。
研成粗末，用长流水在砂锅内用桑柴火熬汁，去渣后再煎取一碗汁，用来淬炼前面的药物，共七次，焙干后研成细末。
蟾酥丸（见疔疮门）：用绵包裹一粒，咬在疼痛的牙齿上，疼痛立即停止。严重的用真蟾酥，大小如麦粒，咬在患处，效果更显著。然而，如果疼痛的牙齿随即脱落，如同用手取下一般。牙齿根部肿痛出脓的，名为风龋，此法也治疗虫蚀引起的疼痛。
干虾蟆（一个，烧成灰）、青黛（一分）、芦荟（半分）。
共同研成细末，用生地黄煎成的膏，调和药物涂抹患处。
补蛀丹：治疗虫牙痛，研磨新巴豆和乳香，制成丸剂，塞入蛀孔内。如果虫子已去除而孔内空虚疼痛，只用炙软的乳香塞入即可。
落齿方：
老鼠一只，将一钱硇砂放入其肚内，用碗盛装并严密盖好，使其自然腐烂生出蛆虫。取出蛆虫烤干研成细末，使用时用刀剔破牙根四周，然后涂上药粉，片刻后牙齿自然脱落。
Lianqiao Decoction: Treats all types of toothache. Modify according to preceding symptoms.
Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Red Peony Root (Chishao) (each 1.5 qian); Forsythiae Fructus (Lianqiao) (1 qian); Trichosanthis Radix (Tianhuafen), Scrophulariae Radix (Xuanshen) (each 0.7 qian); Aurantii Fructus Immaturus (Zhiqiao) (0.5 qian).
Use two zhong of water, decoct until eight fen remains. Take after meals.
Jiawei Liangge San: Treats toothache caused by damp-heat, accompanied by swelling of the cheeks and zygomatic bones, pain radiating to the Taiyang region, oral heat, and constipation. Add Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), and Lophatheri Herba (Dan Zhuye) to this formula.
Decoct in water, take with honey mixed in.
For chronic toothache unresponsive to various medicines, use only Gypsum Fibrosum (1 liang) and Cimicifugae Rhizoma (5 qian), decoct in water and take. Effective.
Shengma Siwu Tang: Treats toothache due to Blood deficiency.
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Red Peony Root (Chishao), Rehmanniae Radix Preparata (Shengdi), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi) (each 1 qian); Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin) (1 qian); Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma) (5 qian); Taraxaci Herba (Pugongying) (5 qian).
Use half a bowl of water, decoct until eight fen remains. Take after meals.
Zhujin Wan:
When teeth are swollen both inside and out, resembling the swelling seen in Shānhán Fāyí (mumps-like condition from Cold damage), it is called "Sōu Yáfēng" (searching for wind in teeth). First induce sweating with Zhanzhu Dan, then purge with Guijin Wan, and finally regulate with herbs that clear phlegm and descend fire.
Qianghuo Fuzi Tang: Treats severe cold in winter invading the brain, causing pain in both the head and teeth, named Nǎofēng (Brain Wind).
Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi) (each 3 fen); Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Atractylodis Rhizoma (Cangzhu) (each 5 fen); Astragali Membranacei Radix (Huangqi) (1 fen); Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), Bombyx Batryticatus (Jiangcan), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi) (each 2 fen); Petasitae Flos (Foercao).
Use one and a half zhong of water, decoct until eight fen remains. Take hot.
Dingtong Sai'er Dan:
Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin), Potassium Nitrate (Penxiao) (each 1 qian); Realgar (Xionghuang) (5 fen); Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina (Yazao) (2 pieces).
Grind into fine powder. Use one clove of garlic, pound and mix to form pills the size of Sophora seeds. Use one pill per time, wrap in cotton. If left tooth hurts, insert into left ear; if right tooth hurts, insert into right ear. Pain stops after a while.
One pill can treat several people.
Guchi Baiyu Gao: Treats all types of toothache, as well as loose and insecure teeth.
Dragones Os (Longgu) (1 liang); Yangqishi (5 qian, these two ingredients calcined red-hot and quenched seven times in herbal juice); Cerussa (Qianfen) (1 liang); Margarita (Zhenzhu) (3 qian); Elephas Dens (Yaxiang, powdered) (5 qian); Moschus (Shexiang) (2 qian).
Mix all powders evenly. Melt three liang of beeswax, filter, and melt again. Wait until warm, then add the previous powders, mix evenly. Spread on paper while hot. If cooled, place over a heated ironing board upside down and spread. Before use, rinse mouth thoroughly. Cut into small strips and apply to the gum root. Keep mouth closed and do not speak. After one night, it is as if cured.
Zhi Longgu Yangqishi Yaozhi Fang:
Bombyx Batryticatus (Jiangcan) (49 pieces); Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina (Yazao), Sal Rubrum (Qingyan), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Phellodendri Cortex (Digupi) (each 5 qian); Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin), Ligustici Wallichii Rhizoma (Ben) (each 3 qian).
Grind into coarse powder. Boil in long-flowing water in a clay pot using mulberry wood fire to extract juice. Remove dregs and decoct again to obtain one bowl of juice. Use this to quench the previous drugs seven times, dry by baking, and grind into powder.
Chansu Wan (See Dingchuang Section): Wrap one pill in cotton and bite against the painful tooth. Pain stops immediately. For severe cases, use real Chansu (Toad Venom) the size of a wheat grain and bite it. More effective. However, if the painful tooth falls out spontaneously, as easily as being removed by hand. Swelling and pus at the tooth root is called Fengku (Wind Caries). This also treats pain caused by worm erosion.
Bufo bufo gargarizans (Gan Xiamá, one, calcined to ash); Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai) (1 fen); Aloe (Luhui) (0.5 fen).
Grind together into powder. Use paste made from Rehmanniae Radix (Shengdihuang) decoction to mix with the medicine and apply.
Buzhu Dan: For toothache caused by dental caries. Grind fresh Crotonis Fructus (Badou) and Frankincense (Ruxiang), make into pills, and insert into the cavity. If the worm is gone but the cavity feels empty and painful, use only roasted Ruxiang inserted into the cavity.
Luochi Fang:
One mouse. Place one qian of Naocha (Sal Ammoniac) inside its stomach. Contain in a bowl and cover tightly. Allow it to rot naturally and breed maggots. Take the maggots, roast them dry, and grind into powder. When using, scrape around the tooth root with a knife, then apply the powder. The tooth will fall out in half an instant.
