脾发疽生心下旁，炙爆毒酒火为殃，初如粟粒时寒热，渐增肿痛溃脓昌。
【注】此证生于心窝下两旁，属脾经食窦穴，无论左右俱生之，皆由过食炙爆、浓味、
药酒，以致脾经积火成毒而发。初起形如粟粒，寒热往来，渐增肿痛。若顶尖、根束，红
活鲜润，应期即溃稠脓者顺；若顶平、根散，色紫坚硬，届期不溃，既溃脓如蟹沫者逆。初
服荆防败毒散汗之。唇焦大渴、烦躁者，宜服太乙紫金锭，次服内疏黄连汤清之。其余
内外治法，按痈疽肿疡、溃疡门。

太乙紫金锭（一名紫金丹，一名玉枢丹）
雄黄（鲜红大块者，研末，三钱） 朱砂（有神气者，研末，三钱） 麝香（拣净皮毛，研末，三钱）
川五倍子（一名文蛤，捶破，研末，二两） 红芽大戟（杭州紫大戟为上，江南土大戟次之，北方绵大戟色白
者，性烈峻利，弱人服之反致吐血，慎之勿用。取上品者去芦根，洗净，焙干为末，一两五钱） 山慈菇
（洗去毛皮，焙干，研末，二两） 千金子（一名续随子。仁白者，去油，一两）
以上之药，各择精品，于净室中制毕，候端午、七夕、重阳，或天月德天医黄道上吉
之辰，凡入室合药之人，三日前俱宜斋沐，更换新洁衣帽，临日方入室中，净手熏香，预
设药王牌位，主人率众焚香拜祷事毕，各将前药七味，称准入于大乳钵内，再研数百转；
方入细石臼中，渐加糯米浓汁，调和软硬得中，方用杵捣千余下，极至光润为度，每锭
一钱。每服一锭，病势重者连服二锭，以取通利，后用温粥补之。修合时，除合药洁净
之人，余皆忌见。此药惟在精诚洁净方效。
【方歌】太乙紫金诸疮毒，疔肿痈疽皆可除，雄朱倍麝千金子，红芽大戟山慈菇。
一、一切饮食药毒、蛊毒，瘴气恶菌，河豚中毒，自死牛、马、猪、羊六畜等类之肉，
人误食之，必昏乱卒倒，或生异形之证。并用水磨灌服，或吐或泻，其人必苏。
一、南方山岚瘴气，烟雾疠疫，最能伤人，感之才觉意思不快，恶寒恶热，欲呕不
呕，即磨一锭服之，得吐利便愈。
一、痈疽发背，对口疔疮，天蛇无名肿
毒，蛀节红丝等疔，及杨梅疮，诸风瘾疹，新久痔疮，并用无灰淡酒磨服，外用水磨涂搽
疮上，日夜数次，觉痒而消。
一、阴阳二毒，伤寒心闷，狂言乱语，胸膈塞滞，邪毒未出，瘟疫烦乱发狂，喉闭喉
风，俱用薄荷汤，待冷磨服。
一、赤白痢疾，肚腹泄泻急痛，霍乱绞肠痧及诸痰喘，并用姜汤磨服。
一、男子妇人急中颠邪，喝叫奔走，鬼交鬼胎，鬼气鬼魇，失心狂乱，羊儿猪颠等
风，俱用石菖蒲煎汤磨服。
一、中风中气，口眼歪邪，牙关紧急，言语謇涩，筋脉挛缩，骨节风肿，遍身疼痛，行
步艰辛，诸风诸痫，并用酒磨，炖热服之。
一、自缢、溺死、惊死、压死、鬼魅迷死，但心头微温未冷者，俱用生姜、续断酒煎、磨服。
一、一切恶蛇、风犬、毒蝎，溪涧诸恶等蛊伤人，随即发肿，攻注遍身，甚者毒瓦斯
入里，昏闷响叫，命在须臾，俱用酒磨灌下，再吃葱汤一碗，被盖出汗立苏。
一、新久疟疾临发时，东流水煎桃、柳枝汤，磨服。
一、小儿急慢惊风，五疳五痢，脾病黄肿，瘾疹疮瘤，牙关紧急，并用薄荷浸水磨
浓，加蜜服之，仍搽肿上；年岁幼者，每锭分作数服。
一、牙痛，酒磨涂痛上，仍含少许，良久咽下。
一、小儿父母遗毒，生下百日内皮塌烂斑，谷道眼眶损烂者，俱用清水磨涂。
一、打扑伤损，用松节无灰酒研服。
一、年深月远，头胀头痛，太阳痛极，偏头风，及时疮愈后，毒瓦斯攻注，脑门作胀者，
俱用葱、酒研服一锭，仍磨涂太阳穴上。
一、妇人经水不通，红花汤下。
一、凡遇天行疫证，延街阖巷，相传遍染者，用桃根汤磨脓，滴入鼻孔，次服少许，
任入病家，再不传染。
一、又治传尸劳瘵，诸药不能取效。一方士指教服此，每早磨服一锭，至三次后，遂
下恶物尸虫，异形怪类，后得脱利。以此相传，活人不计其数。
一、一女子久患劳瘵，为尸虫所噬，磨服一锭，片时吐下小虫十余条；后服苏合香
丸，其病顿失，调理月余而愈。真济世卫生之宝药也。
荆防败毒散（见项部脑疽）
内疏黄连汤（见肿疡门）
脾发疽生于心窝下方两侧，多因过食烤炸食物、浓烈滋味及药酒，导致火毒为患。初起时如粟粒大小，伴有恶寒发热，随后逐渐增加肿胀疼痛并化脓。
【注】此证发生在心窝下两旁，归属于脾经的食窦穴，无论左右都会发生，皆因过量食用烤炸、厚味、药酒，致使脾经积热成毒而发作。初起形状像粟粒，出现寒热往来，逐渐加重肿痛。如果疮顶高耸、根基收敛，颜色红活润泽，按期溃破流出稠脓的为顺证；如果疮顶平塌、根基散漫，颜色紫暗坚硬，到期不溃破，溃破后脓液像蟹沫一样的为逆证。初期服用荆防败毒散以发汗解表。若出现嘴唇焦枯、大渴、烦躁的症状，适宜服用太乙紫金锭，接着服用内疏黄连汤以清热泻火。其余内外治法，参照痈疽肿疡、溃疡章节。
太乙紫金锭（又名紫金丹，又名玉枢丹）
雄黄（选取鲜红大块者，研成粉末，三钱） 朱砂（质地有神气者，研成粉末，三钱） 麝香（拣选干净无皮毛杂质，研成粉末，三钱）
川五倍子（又名文蛤，捶碎，研成粉末，二两） 红芽大戟（杭州产的紫大戟为上品，江南产的土大戟次之，北方产绵大戟色白者，药性猛烈峻利，体弱之人服用反而会导致吐血，务必谨慎勿用。选取上品去芦根，洗净，焙干研末，一两五钱） 山慈菇（洗去毛皮，焙干，研成粉末，二两） 千金子（又名续随子。仁白色者，去油，一两）
以上药物，各选精品，在洁净室中制作完毕，等候端午、七夕、重阳，或天月德、天医黄道等吉日良辰。凡进入室内合药的人，前三日均需斋戒沐浴，更换新洁衣帽，临近日才进入室内，净手熏香，预先设置药王牌位，主人率领众人焚香拜祷完毕后，各自将前述七味药，称量准确放入大乳钵内，再研磨数百转；然后放入细石臼中，逐渐加入糯米浓汁，调和至软硬适中，再用杵捣千余下，直至极其光润为止，每锭重一钱。每次服用一锭，病情重者连服两锭，以取得通利效果，之后用温粥补养身体。制作时，除合药洁净之人外，其余人都忌讳看见。此药唯有在精诚洁净的情况下才有效。
【方歌】太乙紫金锭治疗各种疮毒，疔肿痈疽皆可消除，成分包括雄黄、朱砂、五倍子、麝香、千金子、红芽大戟、山慈菇。
一、一切饮食药物中毒、蛊毒、瘴气恶菌、河豚中毒，以及自死的牛、马、猪、羊六畜等类的肉，人误食后，必定昏乱突然倒下，或产生异形病症。均用水磨开灌服，通过呕吐或腹泻，病人必定苏醒。

Splei Fa Ju (Abscess of the Splei) arises on both sides below the heart pit. It is caused by fire-toxin resulting from excessive consumption of roasted/fried foods, rich flavors, and medicinal wine. Initially, it appears like a millet grain accompanied by chills and fever. Gradually, swelling and pain increase, leading to suppuration.
[Note] This condition occurs on both sides below the heart pit, belonging to the Shisong (ST16) acupoint of the Spleen Meridian of Foot-Taiyin. It can occur on either side. It is caused by excessive intake of roasted/fried foods, strong-flavored foods, and medicinal wine, leading to accumulated heat and toxin in the Spleen Meridian. Initially, it resembles a millet grain with alternating chills and fever, gradually increasing in swelling and pain. If the apex is elevated, the base is confined, the color is red and lustrous, and thick pus discharges as expected, it is a favorable prognosis (Shun). If the apex is flat, the base is diffuse, the color is purple and hard, it does not ulcerate when due, and after ulceration the pus resembles crab foam, it is an unfavorable prognosis (Ni). Initially, administer Jingfang Baidu San (Atractylodes and Saposhnikovia Decoction) to induce sweating. If symptoms include dry cracked lips, intense thirst, and irritability, Taiyi Zijin Ding (Taiyi Purple Gold Pill) should be taken, followed by Neishu Huanglian Tang (Internal Draining Coptis Decoction) to clear heat. For other internal and external treatments, refer to the sections on Ulcerative Sores and Ulcers.
Taiyi Zijin Ding (also known as Zijin Dan or Yushu Dan)
Realgar (Xionghuang, select bright red large pieces, grind into powder, 3 qian) Cinnabar (Zhusha, select those with spiritual vitality, grind into powder, 3 qian) Musk (Shexiang, pick clean without hair/skin impurities, grind into powder, 3 qian)
Chuan Wubeizi (Chinese Gallnut, also known as Wen Ge, crush, grind into powder, 2 liang) Hongya Daji (Red-bud Euphorbia; Euphorbia kansui var. purpurea from Hangzhou is superior; Euphorbia pekinensis from Jiangnan is secondary; Euphorbia fischeriana from the north is white and has a fierce/pungent nature. Weak constitutions taking it may cause hematemesis; use with caution and avoid. Select superior grade, remove rhizome roots, wash clean, bake dry, grind into powder, 1.5 liang) Shancigu (Fritillaria cirrhosa bulb, wash off hairs/skin, bake dry, grind into powder, 2 liang) Qianjinzi (Seminarum Ricini, also known as Xuisui Zi. Use white kernels, remove oil, 1 liang)
Select premium quality for all above herbs. Prepare in a clean room. Wait for auspicious days such as Dragon Boat Festival, Double Seventh Festival, Double Ninth Festival, or days marked by Tianyue De, Tianyi, or Yellow Path stars. Those entering the room to compound the medicine must fast and bathe for three days prior, change into new clean clothes and hats. On the day, enter the room only after washing hands and burning incense. Pre-set a tablet for the Medicine King. The master leads the group in burning incense and praying. Afterward, each person weighs the seven aforementioned herbs accurately, places them in a large mortar, and grinds them hundreds of times. Then transfer to a fine stone pestle, gradually adding thick rice paste, adjusting to moderate hardness. Pound with a pestle over a thousand times until extremely smooth and glossy. Each pill weighs 1 qian. Take one pill per dose. For severe conditions, take two consecutive pills to promote unblocking/drainage, then replenish with warm congee. During preparation, others are forbidden to watch except those involved in clean compounding. This medicine is effective only through sincerity and cleanliness.
[Formula Verse] Taiyi Zijin Ding treats various sores and toxins; Ding swellings, carbuncles, and ulcers can all be eliminated. Ingredients: Realgar, Cinnabar, Chinese Gallnut, Musk, Seminarum Ricini, Red-bud Euphorbia, Fritillaria cirrhosa.
1. For all types of food/drug poisoning, Gu poison, miasma/bad bacteria, pufferfish poisoning, and meat from dead cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, etc., if mistakenly ingested causing confusion, sudden collapse, or abnormal symptoms: Grind the pill with water and administer orally. Induce vomiting or diarrhea; the patient will likely recover consciousness.
2. For southern mountain miasma, smoke, and epidemic plagues which harm people most severely: Upon initial infection feeling mental discomfort, aversion to cold/heat, nausea without vomiting: Immediately grind one pill and take it. Recovery follows vomiting and diarrhea.
3. For carbuncles/back abscesses, neck carbuncles, Tian She unnamed swelling/toxins, worm-joint red thread Ding, Yangmei sore (syphilis), various wind urticaria, new/old hemorrhoids: Grind with non-grain alcohol (Wuhui Danjiu) for oral administration. Externally, apply ground paste to the sore multiple times day and night. Relief comes with itching and resolution.
4. For Yin-Yang Two Toxins, Typhoid with chest oppression, delirious speech, chest/diaphragm stagnation, unexpelled pathogenic toxins, plague with irritability/madness, throat closure/throat wind: Grind with Mint Decoction (Bohe Tang), let cool, then administer.
5. For dysentery (red/white), abdominal diarrhea with acute pain, cholera-like intestinal cramping, and various phlegm-wheezing: Grind with Ginger Decoction (Jiang Tang) and administer.
6. For men/women with acute epilepsy/spirit possession, shouting/rushing, ghost intercourse/ghost fetus, ghost qi/oppression, loss of mind/madness, epilepsy (sheep/pig type): Grind with Stone Acorus Decoction (Shichangpu Jian Tang) and administer.
7. For stroke/Qi obstruction, facial paralysis, locked jaw, slurred speech, tendon contraction, joint wind-swelling, body-wide pain, difficulty walking, various wind/seizure disorders: Grind with wine, heat gently, and administer.
8. For hanging, drowning, fright-death, crushing death, spirit bewitchment, provided the heart remains slightly warm: Grind with Fresh Ginger and Dipsacus Wine Decoction and administer.
9. For bites/injuries from venomous snakes, mad dogs, scorpions, stream insects/Gu poisons causing immediate swelling spreading over the body, or severe cases where toxin enters interior causing coma/shouting with life at stake: Grind with wine and force-feed. Drink a bowl of Scallion Soup, cover to sweat, and recovery is immediate.
10. For new/old malaria at onset: Grind with Peach and Willow Branch Decoction brewed in east-flowing water and administer.
11. For pediatric acute/chronic convulsions, five malnourishments/five dysenteries, spleen disease with yellow swelling, urticaria/tumors, locked jaw: Grind with Mint-infused water to concentrate, add honey, and administer. Apply remaining paste to swollen areas. For young children, divide one pill into several doses.
12. For toothache: Grind with wine, apply to painful area, hold a small amount in mouth, swallow after some time.
13. For infants with parental residual toxin, presenting within 100 days with skin erosion/ulcers, anal/orbital damage: Grind with clean water and apply externally.
14. For trauma/blunt injuries: Grind Pine Node (Songjie) with non-grain alcohol and administer.
15. For long-standing head distension/pain, extreme Taiyang headache, hemimigraine, or post-impetigo toxin invasion causing forehead distension: Grind one pill with Scallion and wine, administer. Also grind and apply to Taiyang acupoints.
16. For women with amenorrhea: Administer with Safflower Decoction (Honghua Tang).
17. For epidemic diseases spreading street to alley: Grind with Peach Root Decoction, drip into nostrils, then take a small amount orally. One can enter infected homes without transmission.
18. For Tuberculosis (Chuan Shi Lao Zhai) unresponsive to other medicines: A practitioner advised taking one pill ground daily in the morning. After three doses, foul matter and corpse-worms/abnormal creatures were expelled, leading to relief. Countless lives saved through this tradition.
19. A woman suffering long-term tuberculosis eaten by corpse-worms took one pill ground, expelling over ten small worms shortly after. Subsequent administration of Suhexiang Wan (Styrax Pills) cured the disease completely. After one month of conditioning, she recovered. Truly a precious medicine for saving the world and preserving health.
