片白附子 海风藤（各五钱） 蛇蜕（一条） 蜈蚣（三条） 共药四十四味。咀切片。用香麻油（二百两） 入大
锅内。浸七日夜。再入桃柳槐叶枝（各二两） 每段一寸。慢火熬至药黑枯。滤去渣。将锅拭净以密绢仍滤。入锅务要
清洁为美。再用文火熬油至滴水成珠。拱起不散。大约净油一斤 配上好漂黄丹八两炒。以一手持柳木棍。搅不住手。
一手下丹。待匀自然成膏。入预制研细末药。乳香 没药（各去油八钱） 血竭 雄黄（各五钱） 四味另研。先入
搅匀。再入香珍十味。木香 沉香 降香 枫香 藿香 麝香 母丁香 真珠 冰片（各一钱） 共研极细末 徐徐添
入搅匀。再入潮脑（五钱） 成膏收用。凡毒贴之。未成即消。已成即溃。已溃即敛。故名。

疽毒。能提毒生肌长肉。其效如神。

千捶绿云膏 麻油（三两） 以蓖麻子仁（四十九粒） 安麻油内炸枯拣去渣。用麻油。葱制松香（八两） 大猪
胆汁（三个） 铜绿（二两。研末） 先将松脂放铜杓内炉火上滚化。乃下麻油、铜绿、猪胆汁熬匀。捣千余下。再烘
烊倾入水。用手扯拔百余遍。愈拔其色愈绿。贮瓦罐内盖好听用。以油纸摊贴疮。能吸脓拔毒。消肿定痛。如遇善贡头。
用细布摊贴一次。其脓自能拔净。不必再换。
生肌玉红膏 当归（二两） 白芷（五钱） 紫草（二钱） 甘草（一两二钱） 白占（二两。研细） 轻粉（四

药浸七日。煎至药枯滤去渣。将药再熬至滴水成珠。下白占搅匀。次下血竭待冷。再下轻粉待成膏。盖好。凡一切痈疽
发背。对口大毒。腐去孔深。见膈膜者。此膏填塞疮口。自能生肌长肉收口。为外科圣药。
拔疔红膏 上血标（水飞。一钱） 蓖麻子仁（二钱） 松香（五钱） 黄丹（一钱） 轻粉（五分） 共捣成膏。
凡一切无名肿毒。将疔
头用银针挑破。用膏一小团。安膏药上。居中贴之。疔即拔出。或畏疼不挑破亦可。

人鸡犬及孝服人见。用桑柴火煎。先
将麻油入锅滚。次下松香末候稍滚。三下白占末候稍滚。四下黄占末候稍滚。五下乳香末候稍滚。六下没药末候稍滚。
七下铜绿末候稍滚。八下百草霜末滚过数次。于锅冷透。搓成条子。瓷器内蜡封口。临用时以龙眼核大一粒。呵软贴患
处。如疔毒一帖即咬住不放。若非疔毒。则屡贴屡落。此能立刻止疔毒痛。次日即愈。贴后忌腥辣沸汤热食豆腐生冷煎
炒茄子黄瓜酒面发物葱蒜饮酒行房。又忌冷水洗。及大麻花。已走黄者。一服必愈。真妙方也。
又方 松香六两。以白布一方包浸童便中。每五六日一换。浸至一月取出。用葱汤于石罐内。将松香煮之极透而软。
放冷水如挂粉状。细细握捏。仍令其硬。再还原汤中煮软。煮后再捏如前法。令其色白如粉者。用蓖麻子肉。二两去
油千金霜。二两去油净 乳香 没药。各去油七钱 桃仁。一两五钱去皮尖 铜青 灵磁石。各一两五钱。火 通红。
醋淬七次 以上各拣道地。多办分两。如法制好。秤准分两。先将蓖麻子肉桃仁捣烂如泥。次将五味入捣成膏。后入松
香等捣成团。盛瓷器内。上口封好放在地。每用不可见火。以津液润软摊蓝布上贴。先将银针挑破疔头。患痛不挑亦可。
以一丸可治二三人。
发背膏 去油乳香 去油没药 血竭 儿茶 铅粉 黄丹。九炒九淘 红银朱漂（各四两） 铜绿（三钱） 共研

度。用时随症大小。取夹油连史纸一块。以针多刺小孔。每张准秤药末五钱。真麻油调摊纸上。再用油纸一块盖之。周

用线缝好。贴患处。用软绢扎紧。过三日将膏揭开。浓煎葱汤洗净。软绢拭干。将膏翻过。再用针如前刺小孔贴之。至
重者用两张。
鲫鱼膏 大虾蟆（七个） 活乌背鲫鱼（十二两） 麻油（二斤） 文武火熬枯去药渣。再熬至滴水成珠离火。再
入轻粉（四两） 铅粉（十二两） 搅成膏收藏。临用摊贴。
白膏药 净巴豆油（十三两） 净蓖麻肉（十二两） 香油（三斤） 虾蟆（五只。口内各衔男子发一团） 活鲫
鱼（十尾） 先将巴豆蓖麻肉浸油内三日。再入虾蟆浸一宿。临熬入鲫鱼共炸枯滤去渣。再熬至滴水成珠离火。倾净锅
内。加铅粉二斤半炒黄研细。乳香（五钱。研末） 搅成膏。凡诸疮肿毒。溃破流脓。摊贴。
京都 砂膏 鲜桃柳桑槐枝（各五尺） 红山栀（八十个） 头发（一两二钱） 炙甲片（六钱） 象皮（六钱） 以
麻油（四斤） 炸枯去渣。再熬至滴水成珠。加入飞黄丹一斤半。搅成膏。再入真 砂（三钱） 血竭（一钱） 儿茶
（二钱） 三味另研末。共搅极匀出
火气。凡除疔疮外。一切恶疮痈疽发背。摊贴能去腐消坚。并诸般疮疖痰核硬块。其势成者。亦能大化为小。
九香膏 白芨（一两） 丁香（五钱） 白芷（一两） 乳香 没药（各一两。去油 辰砂三钱） 麝香（五分） 冰
片（一钱） 为极细末。用前清凉膏油（一斤四两） 滚化和匀。凡一切痈疽发背疮毒。量毒大小。以包柿漆银粉纸摊
贴。未成即消。已成即溃。已溃即拔毒收功。
巴鲫膏 巴豆肉（五钱） 闹羊花（二两） 番木鳖（五钱。切碎） 川乌（五钱。切片） 草乌（五钱。切片） 蓖
麻肉（三两） 穿山甲（二两） 商陆（一两。切） 漏芦（一两） 苍耳子（四两） 全当归（二两） 元参（二两）

挂死者） 大羊角（三只） 大鲫鱼（一对） 用麻油（五斤） 浸。春五、夏三、秋七、冬十日。候日数毕。入锅内。
桑柴火熬至药枯。用绢滤净渣。将油再入锅内。慢火熬沸。渐入飞净血丹（二十四两） 以槐柳条。不住手
搅。待滴水成珠。将锅掇下。取水盆相稳。搅至烟净。再入上安桂（四钱） 乳香末（四钱） 没药末（四钱） 轻粉
末好芸香末（各四钱） 各渐入搅匀。倾入水内。以柳棍搂成块。再换冷水。将膏作数十团。用坛水浸埋地下退火毒。
凡小疖大痈。用细纸摊贴。

收贮埋地下三日出火毒。凡一切外症。并肝胃气。随时摊贴。治法另有引单。熬膏时。须要虔诚。切忌污秽。及妇人鸡
犬之类。
白膏药 炉甘石（一两）先用黄芩、黄连、黄柏。以童便滤汁。将甘石倾银罐内。 通红淬九次。水龙骨（一两） 去

月后。即可摊贴。凡一切腐烂阴疽冻疮。贴一夜全消。溃者三张全愈。如疟疾贴背亦妙。

鳖蛇。活放入锅。急将锅盖揿住。至蛇不动时。再入虾蟆。后将前药穿山甲蜈蚣全蝎等熬至药枯黑滤去渣。将锅抹净。
再以密绢滤油入锅。用文武火熬至滴水成珠离火。再入上好洋丹三斤。一手下丹。一手扬硬木棍。不住手搅匀成膏。再
入乳香 没药（各三钱去油） 麝香 冰片（各五钱） 四味预另研和匀。徐徐掺入。搅极匀成膏。收贮出火毒。凡痈
疽发
背。对口搭手。一切无名肿毒。恶疮。贴之未成即消。已成即溃。可以不假升丹之力。而能去腐止痛。拔毒收功。
不二膏 金石斛（十六两。去根） 乳香（四两八钱。去油） 川贝（十六两。去心） 没药（四两八钱。去油） 明
天麻（六两八钱） 粉草（六两四钱） 巴豆肉（五两四钱。去油） 用大麻油（十二斤） 浸数日。煎时下以活雄鲫
鱼（两尾） 煎枯去渣存油。另用铅粉炒黄研细（二斤） 筛下收膏。凡痰症 串乳疖。一切无名肿毒。贴之神效。如
乳疖未溃者。少加潮脑于膏上。
仙授神效药纸 端午蕲艾（四五斤）。煎浓汁去渣。入粒子红花（四两） 煎一炷香。再入去油乳香（去油） 没药
（各八两。研细末） 煎一炷香。再入真象皮末（四两） 煎一炷香。加入牛皮胶二斤 煎至胶化汁粘为度。用羊毫排
笔蘸药汁。搽刷大红纸上阴干。凡狗咬虫蟊蛇伤。并跌打破皮。及一切烂膀疖。用津唾润软贴之。速能奏效。真神方也。
巴豆油膏 巴豆（三两） 用麻油煎片时。勿令枯。再用绵料纸滚尽外面油。以擂盆打自然油。用夏布绞出。加入
三妙膏：紫荆皮二两，独活二两，白芷二两，赤芍二两，石菖蒲二两，红花、羌活、乌梅、川黄柏、大黄、麻黄、真贝母、肉桂、细辛、黄芩、当归、防风、半夏、连翘、桃仁、续随子、荆芥、牙皂、柴胡、苦参、全蝎、牛膝、汉防己、真川连、天虫皮、大戟、天花粉、良姜、鳖甲、草乌、牛蒡子（各五钱），血余、甲片白附子、海风藤（各五钱），蛇蜕一条，蜈蚣三条。共四十四味药。切碎切片。用香麻油二百两放入大锅内，浸泡七昼夜。再加入桃枝、柳枝、槐叶枝（各二两），每段一寸长。用慢火熬至药材黑枯，滤去药渣。将锅擦拭干净，用密绢再次过滤。入锅的油务必清洁为佳。再用文火熬油至滴水成珠，拱起不散。大约一斤净油配上八两炒制的好漂黄丹。一手持柳木棍不停搅拌，另一手下丹。待均匀后自然成膏。加入预先研细的药末，乳香、没药（各去油八钱）、血竭、雄黄（各五钱）这四味药另研细末，先加入搅匀。再加入香珍十味：木香、沉香、降香、枫香、藿香、麝香、母丁香、真珠、冰片（各一钱），共研极细末，徐徐加入搅匀。再加入潮脑（五钱），制成膏药备用。凡毒疮贴之，未成脓即消散，已成脓即溃破，已溃破即收敛愈合，因此得名。
万应清凉膏：木鳖、蓖麻子、当归、生地、苦参、苍耳子（各二两），生大黄、黄芩、黄柏、赤芍、元参、天花粉、桃仁、白芷、角刺（各一两），穿山甲、直僵蚕、全蝎、黄蜂房（各五钱），甘草八钱，槐枝二两，虾蟆十四只。用麻油七斤，将上述药物浸泡。春季五日，夏季三日，秋季七日，冬季十日。放入锅中熬至药枯，去渣滤净。再放入锅内，用武火熬至滴水成珠为度。称取一斤净油，加入八两炒制的黄铅粉，研细，徐徐搅入。待白烟升起，倒入井水中七天，以去除火气。摊贴使用。治疗外科一切大小疽毒，能提毒、生肌、长肉，效果如神。
治一切无名肿毒膏药：川柏三两，白芷二两四钱，当归二两四钱，蓖麻子一两二钱，去油乳香三两，去油没药三两，生地二两四钱，全蝎九十只，马钱子切片四十二个，蝉衣一两八钱，蛇蜕六条，男子发一大团。用赤芍四斤，另研细末收膏。火候不老不嫩，浸水内以去火气。摊贴使用。无论红肿已成或未成，均有效。此方自京都得来。
神效千捶膏：土木鳖子五个（去壳），白嫩松香四两（拣净），铜绿一钱（研细），明乳香二钱，没药二钱，蓖麻子肉七钱，巴豆肉五粒，白杏仁一钱。放入石臼内，捣三十多下即成膏。浸入凉水中。临时根据疮口大小，用手捻成薄片粘贴。疮口用绢布覆盖。治疗疮疡疔毒，初起即消散。并治疗瘰疬，能连根拔出；治疗大人疔疮、小儿善颅头（头部疔疮），都非常奇妙。
会通灵应膏：元参一两，马钱子二两，蓖麻子五钱（去壳），五倍子五钱，杏仁二两，蛇蜕三钱，带子蜂房五钱，男子发一团，麻油一斤四两。按法熬膏。
千捶绿云膏：麻油三两，将蓖麻子仁四十九粒放入麻油中炸枯，拣去药渣。用此麻油，葱制松香八两，大猪胆汁三个，铜绿二两（研末）。先将松脂放在铜勺内在炉火上滚化，然后下麻油、铜绿、猪胆汁熬匀，捣一千多下，再烘熔倒入水中，用手扯拔一百多遍。越拔颜色越绿。贮存在瓦罐内盖好听用。用油纸摊贴疮口，能吸脓拔毒，消肿定痛。如果遇到善颅头，用细布摊贴一次，其脓自能拔净，不必再换。
生肌玉红膏：当归二两，白芷五钱，紫草二钱，甘草一两二钱，白占（蜂蜡）二两（研细），轻粉四钱（研细）。用麻油一斤，将前药浸泡七日，煎至药枯，滤去药渣。将药油再熬至滴水成珠，下白占搅匀。次下血竭待冷，再下轻粉待成膏。盖好。凡一切痈疽发背，对口大毒，腐肉已去孔深，见膈膜者。此膏填塞疮口，自能生肌长肉收口，为外科圣药。
拔疔红膏：上血标（水飞，一钱），蓖麻子仁二钱，松香五钱，黄丹一钱，轻粉五分。共捣成膏。凡一切无名肿毒，将疔头用银针挑破，用一小团膏药，安在膏药纸上，居中贴之。疔毒即被拔出。如果怕疼不挑破也可以。

白膏药：净巴豆油十三两，净蓖麻肉十二两，香油三斤，虾蟆五只（口内各衔男子发一团），活鲫鱼十尾。先将巴豆蓖麻肉浸油内三日。再入虾蟆浸一宿。临熬入鲫鱼共炸枯滤去渣。再熬至滴水成珠离火。倾净锅内。加铅粉二斤半炒黄研细。乳香五钱（研末），搅成膏。凡诸疮肿毒，溃破流脓，摊贴。
京都砂膏：鲜桃柳桑槐枝（各五尺），红山栀八十个，头发一两二钱，炙甲片六钱，象皮六钱。以麻油四斤炸枯去渣。再熬至滴水成珠。加入飞黄丹一斤半，搅成膏。再入真砂三钱，血竭一钱，儿茶二钱。三味另研末。共搅极匀出火气。凡除疔疮外，一切恶疮痈疽发背，摊贴能去腐消坚。并诸般疮疖痰核硬块，其势成者，亦能大化为小。

巴鲫膏：巴豆肉五钱，闹羊花二两，番木鳖五钱（切碎），川乌五钱（切片），草乌五钱（切片），蓖麻肉三两，穿山甲二两，商陆一两（切），漏芦一两，苍耳子四两，全当归二两，元参二两，白芨五钱，白蔹二两，大黄三两，黄牛爪一两，两头尖三两，猪甲爪一两，虾蟆干二两（挂死者），大羊角三只，大鲫鱼一对。用麻油五斤浸。春五、夏三、秋七、冬十日。候日数毕。入锅内，桑柴火熬至药枯。用绢滤净渣。将油再入锅内，慢火熬沸。渐入飞净血丹二十四两，以槐柳条不住手搅。待滴水成珠，将锅掇下。取水盆相稳，搅至烟净。再入上安桂四钱，乳香末四钱，没药末四钱，轻粉末好芸香末各四钱。各渐入搅匀。倾入水内，以柳棍搂成块。再换冷水，将膏作数十团。用坛水浸埋地下退火毒。凡小疖大痈，用细纸摊贴。
大土膏：大黄二两，香附七钱，生地一两，蓖麻子二两，木鳖子一两，五倍子七钱，大戟八钱，甘遂七钱，芫花七钱，肉桂八钱，川连五钱，麻黄八钱，三棱一两，杏仁七钱，蓬莪术八钱，槟榔、全蝎、穿山甲、草乌、独活、细辛、防风、浓朴、元参、天花粉、桃仁、皂角、川乌、巴豆、羌活、白芷（各八钱），当归一两五钱，川柏八钱，枳实八钱，蛇蜕五钱，蜈蚣五钱。用真香油六斤浸。五日熬去渣。至滴水成珠。加密陀僧四两，飞黄丹二斤四两。熬至不老不嫩。收贮埋地下三日出火毒。凡一切外症，并肝胃气，随时摊贴。治法另有引单。熬膏时，须要虔诚。切忌污秽，及妇人鸡犬之类。
白膏药：炉甘石一两。先用黄芩、黄连、黄柏，以童便滤汁，将甘石倾银罐内，通红淬九次。水龙骨一两，去油乳香、去油没药各五钱，川连五钱，龙骨五钱，宫粉一两，麝香五分，冰片一钱，真轻粉三钱，黄占三两，白占一两。共为细末。用公猪油四两，先熬去渣。入二占滚化略冷，然后入药末搅成膏。若硬加香油些些。凡一切夏月疮毒不收口，并伤筋、手疮、足疮，摊贴神效。
阳和解凝膏：香油十斤（生用）。入鲜大力子根叶梗全用三斤，活白凤仙梗四两，同煎枯去渣。次日入当归、肉桂、附子、桂枝、大黄、官桂、川乌、地龙、僵蚕、赤芍、白芷、白蔹、白芨（各二两），川芎四钱，防风、荆芥、木香、陈皮、香椽、川断、五灵脂（各一两）。候煎枯滤去渣。隔一宿油冷后，见过斤两。每油一斤，入炒透淘丹七两，搅匀以文武火熬至滴水成珠，不粘指为度。离火取乳香末二两（去油）、没药末二两（去油）、苏合油四两、麝香一两（研细）。入膏内，搅匀。半月后，即可摊贴。凡一切腐烂阴疽冻疮，贴一夜全消。溃者三张全愈。如疟疾贴背亦妙。
乌龙膏：当归、白芨、连翘、蝉衣、大红（各二两），羌活、独活、川乌、草乌（各一两），细生地、血余、大黄、净银花、番木鳖（各四两），麻黄一两五钱，泽兰五钱，全蝎二两，炒甲片二两，虾蟆五十只，瞎地鳖蛇两条，大蜈蚣百条（三毒俱要活）。麻油五斤，桐油八两，桃、柳、桑枝（各三十段，每长三寸），姜八两，葱八两。法先将枝熬枯取出。令丐者将瞎地鳖蛇，活放入锅，急将锅盖揿住。至蛇不动时，再入虾蟆。后将前药穿山甲、蜈蚣、全蝎等熬至药枯黑滤去渣。将锅抹净，再以密绢滤油入锅。用文武火熬至滴水成珠离火。再入上好洋丹三斤，一手下丹，一手扬硬木棍，不住手搅匀成膏。再入乳香、没药各三钱（去油），麝香、冰片各五钱。四味预另研和匀，徐徐掺入，搅极匀成膏。收贮出火毒。凡痈疽发背，对口搭手，一切无名肿毒，恶疮。贴之未成即消，已成即溃，可以不假升丹之力，而能去腐止痛，拔毒收功。不二之选。
不二膏：金石斛十六两（去根），乳香四两八钱（去油），川贝十六两（去心），没药四两八钱（去油），明天麻六两八钱，粉草六两四钱，巴豆肉五两四钱（去油）。用大麻油十二斤浸数日。煎时下以活雄鲫鱼两尾，煎枯去渣存油。另用铅粉炒黄研细二斤，筛下收膏。凡痰症串乳疖，一切无名肿毒，贴之神效。如乳疖未溃者，少加潮脑于膏上。
仙授神效药纸：端午蕲艾四五斤，煎浓汁去渣。入粒子红花四两，煎一炷香。再入去油乳香、没药各八两（研细末），煎一炷香。再入真象皮末四两，煎一炷香。加入牛皮胶二斤，煎至胶化汁粘为度。用羊毫排笔蘸药汁，搽刷大红纸上阴干。凡狗咬虫蟊蛇伤，并跌打破皮，及一切烂膀疖，用津唾润软贴之。速能奏效。真神方也。
Sanmiao Gao (Three-Efficacy Plaster): Zijingpi (Broussonetiae Cortex, 紫荆皮) 2 liang, Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, 独活) 2 liang, Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 白芷) 2 liang, Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, 赤芍) 2 liang, Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma, 石菖蒲) 2 liang; Honghua (Carthami Flos, 红花), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, 羌活), Wumei (Mume Fructus, 乌梅), Chuan Huangbai (Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex, 川黄柏), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 大黄), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, 麻黄), Zhen Beimu (Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus, 真贝母), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 肉桂), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma, 细辛), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, 黄芩), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 当归), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix, 防风), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, 半夏), Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus, 连翘), Taoren (Persicae Semen, 桃仁), Xuisui Zi (Euphorbiae Lathyris Semen, 续随子), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica, 荆芥), Ya Zao (Gleditsiae Spina, 牙皂), Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, 柴胡), Kushen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix, 苦参), Quan Xie (Scorpio, 全蝎), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, 牛膝), Han Fangji (Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix, 汉防己), Zhen Chuanlian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 真川连), Tianchong Pi (Oryctolagi Cuniculi Pilus, 天虫皮 - *Note: likely a typo for blood or hair in context, but literal translation used*), Daji (Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix, 大戟), Tianhuafen (Trichosanthis Radix, 天花粉), Liangjiang (Alpiniae Officinarum Rhizoma, 良姜), Biejia (Testudinis et Carapax et Plastrum, 鳖甲), Caowu (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix, 草乌), Niubangzi (Arctii Fructus, 牛蒡子) (each 5 qian); Xueyu (Hominis Pilus Carbonized, 血余), Ji Pian Baifuzi (Aconiti Kochneae Radix Praeparata, 甲片白附子), Haifengteng (Sinomenii Caulis, 海风藤) (each 5 qian); Shedui (Bombyx Batryticatus, 蛇蜕) 1 strip; Wugong (Scolopendra, 蜈蚣) 3 strips. Total 44 herbs. Cut into slices. Use 200 liang of fragrant sesame oil, place in a large pot, soak for seven days and nights. Add Tao Liu Huai Ye Zhi (branches of peach, willow, and locust trees with leaves, each 2 liang), cut into 1-cun segments. Simmer over low heat until the herbs are black and withered. Filter out the dregs. Clean the pot thoroughly and filter again through fine silk. The oil entering the pot must be clean. Continue simmering over gentle heat until the oil forms beads when dropped in water and does not disperse. For approximately 1 jin (500g) of refined oil, add 8 liang of calcined refined Minium (Huangdan, 黄丹). Stir continuously with one hand holding a willow stick while adding the Minium with the other. Once uniform, it naturally becomes a plaster. Add pre-ground fine herbal powders: Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) and Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) (each 8 qian, resin removed), Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis, 血竭), Xionghuang (Realgar, 雄黄) (each 5 qian). These four ingredients should be ground separately and added first, stirring well. Then add the "Ten Fragrances": Muxiang (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum, 木香), Chenxiang (Aquilare Wood, 沉香), Jiangxiang (Daemonorops Dracontis, 降香), Fengxiang (Liquidambaris Resina, 枫香), Huoxiang (Agastaches Herba, 藿香), Shexiang (Moschi Fermentum, 麝香), Mu Dingxiang (Syzygii Aromatica Fructus, 母丁香), Zhenzhu (Concha Margaritifera, 真珠), Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum, 冰片) (each 1 qian). Grind to an extremely fine powder and slowly incorporate while stirring. Finally, add Chaonao (Borneolum Syntheticum / Camphora, 潮脑) 5 qian. This plaster is named so because it dissipates toxins before suppuration, induces suppuration if formed, and promotes healing if ulcerated.
Wanying Qingliang Gao (Universal Cooling Plaster): Mugua (Momordicae Semen, 木鳖), Bimazi (Ricini Semen, 蓖麻子), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 当归), Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix, 生地), Kushen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix, 苦参), Cang'erzi (Xanthii Fructus, 苍耳子) (each 2 liang); Sheng Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 生大黄), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, 黄芩), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, 黄柏), Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, 赤芍), Yuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix, 元参), Tianhuafen (Trichosanthis Radix, 天花粉), Taoren (Persicae Semen, 桃仁), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 白芷), Jiaoci (Urticae Flos, 角刺) (each 1 liang); Chanshanjia (Manis Squama, 穿山甲), Zhijiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, 直僵蚕), Quan Xie (Scorpio, 全蝎), Huangfengfang (Vespa Nidus, 黄蜂房) (each 5 qian); Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 甘草) 8 qian; Huaizhi (Sabinae Ramulus, 槐枝) 2 liang; Xama (Bufo Viridis, 虾蟆) 14. Soak the above herbs in 7 jin of sesame oil. Soak for 5 days in spring, 3 days in summer, 7 days in autumn, and 10 days in winter. Boil in a pot until the herbs are withered. Remove dregs and filter cleanly. Return to the pot and boil over high heat until it forms beads when dropped in water. Weigh 1 jin of refined oil and add 8 liang of calcined lead carbonate (Huangqianfen, 黄铅粉), finely ground. Slowly stir in. When white smoke rises, pour into well water for 7 days to remove fire toxicity. Apply as a plaster. It treats all external carbuncles and sores, promoting toxin extraction, flesh regeneration, and tissue growth with miraculous efficacy.
Plaster for All Unnamed Swellings and Toxins: Chuan Bai (Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex, 川柏) 3 liang, Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 白芷) 2.4 liang, Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 当归) 2.4 liang, Bimazi (Ricini Semen, 蓖麻子) 1.2 liang, Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) 3 liang (resin removed), Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) 3 liang (resin removed), Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix, 生地) 2.4 liang, Quan Xie (Scorpio, 全蝎) 90 pieces, Maqianzi (Strychni Semen, 马钱子) sliced 42 pieces, Chan Yi (Bombyx Batryticatus, 蝉衣) 1.8 liang, Shedui (Bombyx Batryticatus, 蛇蜕) 6 strips, Nanzi Fa (Hominis Pilus, 男子发) 1 large clump. Use Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, 赤芍) 4 jin, grind separately into fine powder for the plaster base. Fry at medium heat, soak in water to remove fire toxicity. Apply as a plaster. Effective regardless of whether redness and swelling have suppurated or not. This formula originated from Beijing.
Shenxiao Qianchui Gao (Divine Thousand-Beats Plaster): Tu Mumiezi (Momordicae Semen, 土木鳖子) 5 (shelled), Bain Songxiang (White Pine Rosin, 白嫩松香) 4 liang (cleaned), Tonglv (Malachite, 铜绿) 1 qian (ground), Ming Ruxiang (Frankincense, 明乳香) 2 qian, Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) 2 qian, Bimazi Rou (Ricini Semen, 蓖麻子肉) 7 qian, Badou Rou (Semisemen Crotonis, 巴豆肉) 5 grains, Baixingren (Pruni Armeniaci Semen, 白杏仁) 1 qian. Place in a stone mortar and beat more than 30 times until it forms a plaster. Soak in cool water. Before use, roll into thin sheets by hand according to the size of the sore and apply. Cover the sore with silk. Treats sores, ulcers, and carbuncles; dissipates them if in early stages. Also treats scrofula, pulling out the root; effective for adult carbuncles and infant head sores.
Huitong Lingying Gao (Penetrating Spiritual Efficacy Plaster): Yuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix, 元参) 1 liang, Maqianzi (Strychni Semen, 马钱子) 2 liang, Bimazi (Ricini Semen, 蓖麻子) 5 qian (shelled), Wubeizi (Terminaliae Chebulae Fructus, 五倍子) 5 qian, Xingren (Pruni Armeniaci Semen, 杏仁) 2 liang, Shedui (Bombyx Batryticatus, 蛇蜕) 3 qian, Daizi Fengfang (Vespa Nidus, 带子蜂房) 5 qian, Nanzi Fa (Hominis Pilus, 男子发) 1 clump, Sesame Oil 1 jin 4 liang. Prepare according to standard method.
Qianchui Lüyun Gao (Thousand-Beats Green Cloud Plaster): Sesame Oil 3 liang. Fry 49 Ricini Semen kernels in the oil until withered, remove dregs. Use this oil, Cong Zhi Songxiang (Green Onion-processed Pine Rosin, 葱制松香) 8 liang, Da Zhu Danzhi (Large Pig Gallbladder, 大猪胆汁) 3, Tonglv (Malachite, 铜绿) 2 liang (ground). First melt the rosin in a copper spoon over a stove fire. Then add sesame oil, malachite, and pig gallbladder, simmer until uniform. Beat more than 1,000 times. Then melt and pour into water. Pull and stretch by hand more than 100 times. The more it is pulled, the greener it becomes. Store in a ceramic jar covered. Apply using oil paper on sores. It absorbs pus, extracts toxins, reduces swelling, and relieves pain. For infant head sores, apply once with fine cloth; pus will be extracted completely without needing replacement.
Shengji Yuhong Gao (Flesh-Generating Jade Red Plaster): Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 当归) 2 liang, Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 白芷) 5 qian, Zicao (Lithospermi Radix, 紫草) 2 qian, Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 甘草) 1.2 liang, Baizhan (Yellow Beeswax, 白占) 2 liang (ground), Qingfen (Calomelas, 轻粉) 4 qian (ground). Soak the above herbs in 1 jin of sesame oil for 7 days. Boil until herbs are withered, filter out dregs. Re-boil the oil until it forms beads when dropped in water. Add Baizhan (Yellow Beeswax, 白占) and stir. Add Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis, 血竭) and let cool. Then add Qingfen (Calomelas, 轻粉) until the plaster forms. Seal well. For all carbuncles, back sores, and severe toxic swellings where necrotic tissue has been removed leaving deep cavities with visible membranes. Fill the wound cavity with this plaster to promote flesh generation, tissue growth, and wound closure. It is a sacred medicine for external surgery.
Batiding Hong Gao (Carbuncle-Pulling Red Plaster): Shang Xuebiao (Water-floated Dragon's Blood, 上血标) 1 qian (water-flown), Ricini Semen Kernels 2 qian, Songxiang (Pine Rosin, 松香) 5 qian, Huangdan (Minium, 黄丹) 1 qian, Qingfen (Calomelas, 轻粉) 5 fen. Pound together into a plaster. For all unnamed swellings and toxins, pierce the head of the carbuncle with a silver needle. Take a small ball of this plaster, place it on a backing paper, and apply centrally. The carbuncle will be pulled out. If afraid of pain, piercing is optional.
Batiding Hei Gao (Carbuncle-Pulling Black Plaster): Songxiang (Pine Rosin, 松香) 2 liang. First, boil with ash water from mulberry branches until soft and rotten. Remove and place in cold water. After a short time, boil again with ash water. Repeat boiling and soaking until the rosin turns jade-white. Baizhan (Yellow Beeswax, 白占) 1 liang (ground), Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) 3 qian (resin removed, ground), Huangzhan (Red Beeswax, 黄占) 1 liang (ground), Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) 3 qian (resin removed, ground), Tonglv (Malachite, 铜绿) 5 qian (ground), Zhen Baicaoshuang (True Grass-soot, 真百草霜) 5 qian (finely ground). The soot must be collected from the bottom of pots used exclusively for burning mugwort and firewood by wild mountain dwellers. Sesame Oil 6 qian. Prepare in a clean room on an auspicious day. Avoid women, chickens, dogs, and mourners. Use mulberry branch fire. Heat sesame oil in the pot. Add rosin powder when slightly hot. Add Baizhan powder when slightly hot. Add Huangzhan powder when slightly hot. Add Ruxiang powder when slightly hot. Add Moyao powder when slightly hot. Add Tonglv powder when slightly hot. Add Baicaoshuang powder and boil several times. Let the pot cool completely. Roll into strips. Seal in porcelain jars with wax. Before use, take a piece the size of a longan pit, warm with breath until soft, and apply to the affected area. If it is a carbuncle toxin, it will adhere firmly. If not, it will fall off repeatedly. This instantly stops carbuncle pain and heals the next day. After application, avoid spicy, hot foods, tofu, raw/cold/fried items, eggplant, cucumber, alcohol, noodles, triggering foods, green onions, garlic, sexual intercourse. Avoid washing with cold water and hemp flowers. If the toxin has spread systemically (Zouhuang), one dose of internal medicine will cure it. Truly a wonderful formula.
Another Formula: Songxiang (Pine Rosin, 松香) 6 liang, wrapped in white cloth, soaked in children's urine. Change every 5-6 days. Soak for one month, then remove. Boil in green onion water in a clay pot until very soft. Place in cold water until it resembles hanging starch. Knead carefully to harden. Return to the original soup to soften again. Knead as before until white like starch. Use Bimazi Rou (Ricini Semen, 蓖麻子肉) 2 liang (oil removed), Qianjin Shuang (Croton Seed Paste, 千金霜) 2 liang (oil removed), Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) and Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) (each 7 qian, oil removed), Taoren (Persicae Semen, 桃仁) 1.5 liang (skin and tip removed), Tongqing (Malachite, 铜青) and Lingshishi (Magnetitum, 灵磁石) (each 1.5 liang, heated red and quenched in vinegar 7 times). Select authentic herbs and weigh accurately. First, pound Ricini Semen and Taoren into a paste. Then pound the five ingredients into a plaster. Finally, add the rosin and knead into a ball. Store in a porcelain jar, sealed, placed on the ground. Do not expose to fire when using. Moisten with saliva, spread on blue cloth, and apply. Pierce the carbuncle head with a silver needle first, though not strictly necessary if painful. One pill can treat two or three people.
Fabai Gao (Back Carbuncle Plaster): Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) and Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) (resin removed), Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis, 血竭), Ercha (Catechu, 儿茶), Qianfen (Lead Carbonate, 铅粉), Huangdan (Minium, 黄丹) (nine fried, nine washed), Hong Yin Zhu Piao (Red Cinnabar Washed, 红银朱漂) (each 4 liang), Tonglv (Malachite, 铜绿) 3 qian. Grind until silent. Before use, take a piece of layered paper, prick many small holes with a needle. Weigh 5 qian of herb powder per sheet. Mix with true sesame oil and spread on paper. Cover with another oil paper. Sew around the edges. Apply to the affected area. Tie tightly with soft silk. After three days, remove the plaster, wash with strong green onion soup, dry with soft silk. Flip the plaster, prick new holes as before, and reapply. For severe cases, use two sheets.
Jiyu Gao (Crucian Carp Plaster): Large Xama (Bufo Viridis, 虾蟆) 7, Live Wubei Jiyu (Black-backed Crucian Carp, 活乌背鲫鱼) 12 liang, Sesame Oil 2 jin. Simmer over medium-low heat until withered, remove dregs. Re-boil until it forms beads when dropped in water. Remove from heat. Add Qingfen (Calomelas, 轻粉) 4 liang, Qianfen (Lead Carbonate, 铅粉) 12 liang. Stir into a plaster and store. Spread and apply before use.
Baigaoyao (White Plaster): Jing Badou You (Pure Croton Oil, 净巴豆油) 13 liang, Jing Bimazi Rou (Pure Ricini Semen, 净蓖麻肉) 12 liang, Xiangyou (Sesame Oil, 香油) 3 jin, Xama (Bufo Viridis, 虾蟆) 5 (each holding a clump of male hair in its mouth), Live Jiyu (Crucian Carp, 活鲫鱼) 10 tails. First, soak Croton and Ricini seeds in oil for 3 days. Then soak the toads overnight. Before boiling, add the carp and fry until withered. Filter out dregs. Re-boil until it forms beads when dropped in water. Remove from heat. Pour into a clean pot. Add 2.5 jin of Qianfen (Lead Carbonate, 铅粉), stir-fry until yellow, and grind fine. Add Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) 5 qian (ground). Stir into a plaster. For all swellings and toxins that have ulcerated and discharged pus, spread and apply.
Jingdu Sha Gao (Beijing Sand Plaster): Fresh Tao Liu Sang Huai Zhi (Peach, Willow, Mulberry, Locust branches, each 5 chi), Hong Shanzhi (Gardeniae Fructus, 红山栀) 80, Toufa (Hair, 头发) 1.2 liang, Zhi Ji Pian (Prepared Tortoise Shell, 炙甲片) 6 qian, Xiangpi (Elephant Skin, 象皮) 6 qian. Fry in 4 jin of Sesame Oil until withered, remove dregs. Re-boil until it forms beads when dropped in water. Add Fei Huangdan (Calcined Minium, 飞黄丹) 1.5 jin. Stir into a plaster. Add Zhen Sha (Cinnabar, 真砂) 3 qian, Xuexie (Draconis Sanguis, 血竭) 1 qian, Ercha (Catechu, 儿茶) 2 qian. Grind these three separately into fine powder and mix thoroughly into the plaster to remove fire toxicity. Except for carbuncles, it treats all malignant sores, carbuncles, and back sores. Spreading it removes necrotic tissue and dissolves hardness. It also treats various boils, phlegm nodules, and hard masses. Even if fully formed, it can reduce large ones to small ones.
Jiu Xiang Gao (Nine-Fragrance Plaster): Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma, 白芨) 1 liang, Dingxiang (Syzygii Aromatica Flos, 丁香) 5 qian, Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 白芷) 1 liang, Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) and Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) (each 1 liang, resin removed), Chensha (Cinnabar, 辰砂) 3 qian, Shexiang (Moschi Fermentum, 麝香) 5 fen, Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum, 冰片) 1 qian. Grind to an extremely fine powder. Use 1 jin 4 liang of the previous Qingliang Gao oil, melt and mix evenly. For all carbuncles, back sores, and toxic swellings, spread on persimmon lacquer silver powder paper according to the size of the toxin. Dissipates if unformed, induces suppuration if formed, extracts toxins and completes healing if ulcerated.
Baji Gao (Croton-Carp Plaster): Badou Rou (Semisemen Crotonis, 巴豆肉) 5 qian, Naoyanghua (Daphne Odora Flos, 闹羊花) 2 liang, Fan Mubie (Strychni Semen, 番木鳖) 5 qian (chopped), Chuan Wu (Aconiti Radix, 川乌) 5 qian (sliced), Cao Wu (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix, 草乌) 5 qian (sliced), Bimazi Rou (Ricini Semen, 蓖麻肉) 3 liang, Chanshanjia (Manis Squama, 穿山甲) 2 liang, Shanglu (Phytolaccae Radix, 商陆) 1 liang (cut), Loulu (Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba, 漏芦) 1 liang, Cang'erzi (Xanthii Fructus, 苍耳子) 4 liang, Quandanggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 全当归) 2 liang, Yuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix, 元参) 2 liang, Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma, 白芨) 5 qian, Bailian (Puerariae Lobatae Radix, 白蔹) 2 liang, Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 大黄) 3 liang, Huangniu Zhao (Yellow Cow Hoof, 黄牛爪) 1 liang, Liangtoujian (Saussureae Radix, 两头尖) 3 liang, Zhu Jiazha (Pig Hoof, 猪甲爪) 1 liang, Xama Gan (Dried Toad, 虾蟆干) 2 liang (dried on deceased), Dayangjiao (Sheep Horn, 大羊角) 3, Dajiyu (Crucian Carp, 大鲫鱼) 1 pair. Soak in 5 jin of Sesame Oil. Soak for 5 days in spring, 3 in summer, 7 in autumn, 10 in winter. When time is up, boil in a pot over mulberry branch fire until herbs are withered. Filter cleanly through silk. Return oil to the pot and boil slowly. Gradually add Fei Jing Xuedan (Refined Blood Minium, 飞净血丹) 24 liang. Stir constantly with locust and willow sticks. Wait until it forms beads when dropped in water. Remove pot from fire. Stabilize over a basin of water. Stir until smoke clears. Add Shang Angui (Cassia Twig, 上安桂) 4 qian, Ruxiang Mo (Frankincense Powder, 乳香末) 4 qian, Moyao Mo (Myrrh Powder, 没药末) 4 qian, Qingfen Mo (Calomelas Powder, 轻粉末), Hao Yunxiang Mo (Good Rue Powder, 好芸香末) (each 4 qian). Add gradually and stir uniformly. Pour into water. Gather into lumps with a willow stick. Replace with cold water. Form the plaster into dozens of balls. Soak in jar water and bury underground to remove fire toxicity. For small boils and large carbuncles, spread on fine paper and apply.
Da Tu Gao (Great Earth Plaster): Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 大黄) 2 liang, Xiangfu (Cyperi Rhizoma, 香附) 7 qian, Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix, 生地) 1 liang, Bimazi (Ricini Semen, 蓖麻子) 2 liang, Mumiezi (Momordicae Semen, 木鳖子) 1 liang, Wubeizi (Terminaliae Chebulae Fructus, 五倍子) 7 qian, Daji (Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix, 大戟) 8 qian, Gansui (Kansui Radix, 甘遂) 7 qian, Yuanhua (Genkwa Flos, 芫花) 7 qian, Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 肉桂) 8 qian, Chuanlian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 川连) 5 qian, Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, 麻黄) 8 qian, Sanleng (Sparganii Rhizoma, 三棱) 1 liang, Xingren (Pruni Armeniaci Semen, 杏仁) 7 qian, Peng Ezhu (Curcumae Phaeocaulis Rhizoma, 蓬莪术) 8 qian, Binglang (Arecae Semen, 槟榔), Quan Xie (Scorpio, 全蝎), Chanshanjia (Manis Squama, 穿山甲), Caowu (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix, 草乌), Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, 独活), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma, 细辛), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix, 防风), Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, 浓朴), Yuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix, 元参), Tianhuafen (Trichosanthis Radix, 天花粉), Taoren (Persicae Semen, 桃仁), Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Fructus, 皂角), Chuan Wu (Aconiti Radix, 川乌), Badou (Semisemen Crotonis, 巴豆), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, 羌活), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 白芷) (each 8 qian), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 当归) 1.5 liang, Chuanbai (Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex, 川柏) 8 qian, Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, 枳实) 8 qian, Shedui (Bombyx Batryticatus, 蛇蜕) 5 qian, Wugong (Scolopendra, 蜈蚣) 5 qian. Soak in 6 jin of true Sesame Oil for 5 days. Boil and remove dregs. Until it forms beads when dropped in water. Add Miduoseng (Argillalite, 密陀僧) 4 liang, Fei Huangdan (Calcined Minium, 飞黄丹) 2.4 jin. Boil until neither too old nor too young. Store and bury underground for 3 days to remove fire toxicity. For all external conditions and Liver/Stomach Qi stagnation, spread and apply as needed. Treatment methods are listed separately. During preparation, maintain piety. Strictly avoid filth, women, chickens, and dogs.
Baigaoyao (White Plaster): Luganshi (Halloysitum, 炉甘石) 1 liang. First, use Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, 黄芩), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 黄连), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex, 黄柏) filtered juice from children's urine. Pour the Halloysitum into a silver jar, heat until red, and quench 9 times. Shuilonggu (Dragon Bone, 水龙骨) 1 liang, Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) and Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) (each 5 qian, resin removed), Chuanlian (Coptidis Rhizoma, 川连) 5 qian, Longgu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi, 龙骨) 5 qian, Gongfen (Lead White, 宫粉) 1 liang, Shexiang (Moschi Fermentum, 麝香) 5 fen, Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum, 冰片) 1 qian, Zhen Qingfen (Calomelas, 真轻粉) 3 qian, Huangzhan (Red Beeswax, 黄占) 3 liang, Baizhan (Yellow Beeswax, 白占) 1 liang. Grind all into fine powder. Use 4 liang of Male Pig Fat (Gongzhuyou, 公猪油). First boil to remove dregs. Add the two waxes and melt. Cool slightly, then add the herb powder and stir into a plaster. If too hard, add some Sesame Oil. For all summer sores that do not heal, and tendon injuries, hand sores, foot sores, spreading and applying is miraculous.
Yanghe Jiening Gao (Yang-Harmonizing Stasis-Dissolving Plaster): Sesame Oil 10 jin (raw). Add fresh Dalizi Gen Ye Geng (Fructus Brunoni Root, Leaf, Stem, whole, 鲜大力子根叶梗) 3 jin, Live Baifengxian Geng (Impatiens Balsamina Stem, 活白凤仙梗) 4 liang. Simmer until withered, remove dregs. Next day, add Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 当归), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 肉桂), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, 附子), Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus, 桂枝), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 大黄), Guanzi Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 官桂), Chuan Wu (Aconiti Radix, 川乌), Dilong (Pheretima, 地龙), Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, 僵蚕), Chishao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra, 赤芍), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 白芷), Bailian (Puerariae Lobatae Radix, 白蔹), Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma, 白芨) (each 2 liang), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 川芎) 4 qian, Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix, 防风), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Spica, 荆芥), Muxiang (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum, 木香), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 陈皮), Xiangyuan (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 香椽), Chuanduan (Dipsaci Radix, 川断), Wulingzhi (Trogopterori Faeces, 五灵脂) (each 1 liang). Simmer until withered, filter out dregs. Let sit overnight until oil cools. Check weight. For every 1 jin of oil, add Chao Tou Tan (Calcined and Washed Minium, 炒透淘丹) 7 liang. Stir uniformly. Simmer over medium-low heat until it forms beads when dropped in water and does not stick to fingers. Remove from fire. Add Ruxiang Mo (Frankincense Powder, 乳香末) 2 liang (resin removed), Moyao Mo (Myrrh Powder, 没药末) 2 liang (resin removed), Suhe You (Styrax Liquid, 苏合油) 4 liang, Shexiang (Moschi Fermentum, 麝香) 1 liang (ground). Incorporate into the plaster and stir uniformly. After half a month, it is ready to spread. For all rotting yin carbuncles and frostbite, one night's application causes complete resolution. For ulcerated cases, three sheets cause full recovery. Applying to the back for malaria is also excellent.
Wulong Gao (Black Dragon Plaster): Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 当归), Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma, 白芨), Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus, 连翘), Chan Yi (Bombyx Batryticatus, 蝉衣), Da Hong (likely a specific herb or part, 大红) (each 2 liang), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, 羌活), Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, 独活), Chuan Wu (Aconiti Radix, 川乌), Cao Wu (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix, 草乌) (each 1 liang), Xi Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix, 细生地), Xueyu (Hominis Pilus Carbonized, 血余), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, 大黄), Jing Yinhua (Honeysuckle Flower, 净银花), Fan Mubie (Strychni Semen, 番木鳖) (each 4 liang), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, 麻黄) 1.5 liang, Zelan (Lycopus Herba, 泽兰) 5 qian, Quan Xie (Scorpio, 全蝎) 2 liang, Chao Ji Pian (Prepared Tortoise Shell, 炒甲片) 2 liang, Xama (Bufo Viridis, 虾蟆) 50, Xia Dibie She (Blind Box Turtle and Snake, 瞎地鳖蛇) 2, Da Wugong (Scolopendra, 大蜈蚣) 100 (all three poisons must be live). Sesame Oil 5 jin, Tung Oil 8 liang, Tao, Liu, Sang Zhi (Peach, Willow, Mulberry branches, each 30 segments, 3 cun long), Ginger 8 liang, Scallion 8 liang. Method: First boil the branches until withered and remove. Have a beggar put the blind turtle and snake alive into the pot, immediately cover tightly. When the snake stops moving, add the toads. Then add the remaining herbs including Chanshanjia (Manis Squama, 穿山甲), Wugong (Scolopendra, 蜈蚣), Quan Xie (Scorpio, 全蝎), etc., boil until herbs are black and withered. Filter out dregs. Clean the pot and filter oil through fine silk. Simmer over medium-low heat until it forms beads when dropped in water. Remove from fire. Add 3 jin of high-quality Yangdan (Minium, 洋丹). Add Minium with one hand and stir vigorously with a hard wood stick with the other until uniform. Add Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) and Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) (each 3 qian, resin removed), Shexiang (Moschi Fermentum, 麝香), Bingpian (Borneolum Syntheticum, 冰片) (each 5 qian). These four were pre-ground and mixed. Slowly sprinkle in and stir extremely uniformly. Store to remove fire toxicity. For carbuncles, back sores, neck sores, all unnamed swellings, and malignant sores. Application dissipates if unformed, induces suppuration if formed. It can remove necrotic tissue, relieve pain, extract toxins, and complete healing without relying on Shengdan (Arsenic Plaster). It is the best choice.
Bu'er Gao (Not-Two Plaster): Jin Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis, 金石斛) 16 liang (roots removed), Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) 4.8 liang (resin removed), Chuan Bei (Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus, 川贝) 16 liang (core removed), Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) 4.8 liang (resin removed), Ming Tianma (Gastrodiae Rhizoma, 明天麻) 6.8 liang, Fencao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 粉草) 6.4 liang, Badou Rou (Semisemen Crotonis, 巴豆肉) 5.4 liang (resin removed). Soak in 12 jin of Hemp Oil for several days. When frying, add 2 live male Crucian Carp. Fry until withered, remove dregs, keep the oil. Separately, stir-fry Lead Carbonate (Qianfen, 铅粉) until yellow, grind fine (2 jin), sieve, and use to form the plaster. For phlegm disorders, breast boils, and all unnamed swellings, application is miraculous. For un-ulcerated breast boils, add a little Chaonao (Camphor, 潮脑) on top of the plaster.
Xianshou Shenxiao Yaozhi (Immortal Bestowing Divine Efficacy Medicinal Paper): Duanwu Qiai (Qibai Mugwort harvested on Dragon Boat Festival, 端午蕲艾) 4-5 jin. Boil to make concentrated juice, remove dregs. Add Lizihonghua (Carthami Flos, 粒子红花) 4 liang. Boil for the time it takes to burn one incense stick. Add Ruxiang (Frankincense, 乳香) and Moyao (Myrrh, 没药) (each 8 liang, resin removed, ground fine). Boil for one incense stick time. Add Zhen Xiangpi (Elephant Skin, 真象皮) powder 4 liang. Boil for one incense stick time. Add Niujiao (Colla Corii Asini, 牛皮胶) 2 jin. Boil until the glue melts and becomes viscous. Use a goat-hair brush to paint the medicinal juice onto large red paper and dry in the shade. For dog bites, insect/snake stings, falls causing broken skin, and all rotting boils. Moisten with saliva, soften, and apply. Rapid efficacy. Truly a divine formula.
