《素问》云∶痛痒疮疡，痈肿疽疹，瘤气结核，拂郁甚者，皆热；五脏不和，九窍不通
腑不和，留结为痈。近于火气，微热则痒，热甚则痛，附近则灼而为疮，皆火之用也。人之
疮肿，因内热外虚所生也。为风湿之所乘，则生疮肿。然肺主气，候于皮毛，脾主肌肉，气
虚则肤腠开，为风湿所乘，脾气湿而内热即生疮也。肿者，由寒热毒瓦斯客于经络，使血涩而
不通，壅结成肿，风邪不作，即无头无根，寒血相搏作者，即有头有根，壅盛则为脓，赤根
肿则风气流溃也。疮以痛痒，痛则为实，痒则为虚，非虚为寒也，正谓热之微甚也。痒则美
疾也，故火旺于夏，而万物蕃鲜荣美也。灸之以火，实之以汤，而其痒转甚者，微热之所使
也。痒去者谓热，令皮肤纵缓，腠理开通，阳气得泄，热散而去。或夏热皮肤痒，而以冷水
沃之，其痒不去，谓寒能收敛腠理，闭密阳气，郁结不能散越，怫热内作故也。疮疡皆为火
热，而反腐出脓水者，犹谷肉果菜，热极则腐烂，而溃为污水也。溃而腐烂者，水之化也。
痈浅而大，疽深而恶，热胜血则为痈脓也。疡有头，小疮也；疹浮而小，瘾疹也；瘤气赤瘤
丹，热胜气火之色也。
没药膏
治一切痈疽发背，疮疖，伤折蹊跌坏脓，生肌止痛。又贴灸疮，极妙。
麒麟竭 明乳香 没药（以上各一两，研） 当归（去芦） 木鳖子仁（研） 杏仁（以上各
五钱） 油头发（二两） 黄丹（六两）
上先用油一斤，石器内或沙锅内露天底炼油令熟，先下木鳖子、当归、杏仁、头发，慢
黄焦。油耗五分，离火，用绵离渣不用，再入锅下黄丹，以新柳篦子十条，旋换搅不住手，
候黑色，滴在水中成珠子，硬软得所，取下火，入三味研药，再搅匀，瓷盒内盛，放地上，
以盆合一宿，出火毒。用时或帛上或纸上摊，一日一换。
必效散
治久患瘰 不效，服此药取效如神。
南硼砂（二钱五分） 轻粉（一钱） 麝香（五分） 斑蝥（四十个，去头翅） 巴豆（五个，
去皮心膜） 白槟榔（一个）
上同研极细，取鸡子清二个去黄，调药匀却，倾在鸡子壳内，湿纸数重糊定，无令透气
饭甑内与饭一处蒸，饭熟取药，曝干，研极细末。用时相度虚实，虚人每服半钱，实人每服
一钱，并用炒生姜酒下。五更初服药，至平明取下恶物。如觉小腹内疼痛，便用 麻子烧灰
入没药等分，同研细，用茶调下一钱，便入大肠。其取下恶物，如烂肉老鼠儿及新成卵内雀
儿，是药之效。妇人有胎，不可服。
乌金散
治痈疖肿硬，无头不变色者。
米粉（四两） 葱白（一两，细切）
上同炒黑色，杵为细末，每用看多少，醋调摊纸上，贴病处，一伏时换一次，以消为度
抵圣丸
治男子、妇人头面手足虚肿。
苦葶苈（不以多少，于火上隔纸炒过）
上杵为细末，枣肉为丸，如小豆大。每服十丸，煎麻子汤下，食前，日进三服。五、七
小便多，肿消为效。如喘嗽，煎桑白皮汤下，忌生冷醋滑物及盐。须另丸一等，小丸儿与小
儿服，看大小加减与服，煎枣肉汤下。
应效散
治气 疳疮多年不效者。
地骨皮（不以多少，冬月自取，只要皮，阴干）
上杵为细末，每用纸捻蘸 疮口内，频用，自然生肉。更用米饮调二钱，无时，日进三
服。又名托里散。
白金散
治风攻注毒遍身，及手足生热疮疼痛，有黄水出。
桂府滑石
上为细末，先用虎杖、甘草、豌豆各等分，约半两许，二碗水煎上项三味至一碗，去渣
，微热淋洗疮，水冷拭干，上糁滑石末，令通，便睡至明，决愈。
如圣散
治浑身搔痒，抓之成疮及瘾疹之类。
蚕砂（一升）
上用水二斗，煎至一斗，滤去渣，夜卧避风处淋洗，水冷即拭干，便睡。
大蛾散
治刀斧伤。止血定痛生肌。
晚蚕蛾（不以多少）
上为细末，每用药贴于疮口上，用绵裹，不须再动，一上便可。
必效散
治蜘蛛咬着疼痛。
盐豉（炒干）
上为细末，每用油调涂之，必效。
蛤粉散
治汤火烧烫疮。
蛤砺（烧赤放冷）
上研如粉，每用油调涂之，日三次。
治小儿丹瘤
木鳖子（新者去壳）
上研如泥，淡醋调敷之，一日三、五次，便效。
治小儿疳口疮
天南星（一个，去皮）
上为末，好醋调摊在纸上，男左女右，贴在脚心底，以帛系定，三日外取了，以温水洗
尽脚下药。
治破伤风
（并洗头风药）
麻黄（一钱，去节） 蝎稍（二钱五分） 蛮姜 草乌头 黑附子（炮去皮） 白附子 天麻
乌梢蛇（好酒浸二夜，去骨，火上炙黄色） 川芎（以上各五钱）
上为细末，每服一钱，热酒调下，日进三五服，重者三五日必效。此证只宜早治，但邪
脏则难治。有四死证不可治∶一头面青黑色，二额上有汗珠不流，三眼小目瞪，四身上有汗
乌龙丸
治遍身风疮，搔痒疥癣等疾，服之消风散热，利膈化痰唾，治肺气不和。此药推陈致新
，去肠垢，治证甚多，要能用度。
皂角（肥者不以多少，炙，刮去皮弦，捶碎，甜水揉取浓汁，去渣，银石器内熬成膏另
放之） 黑牵牛（不以多少，微炒令香熟，碾取头末）
上将药末与皂角膏和丸，如梧桐子大。每服三、五十丸，气虚者一、二十丸，食后温水
。无病气实人，一、二个月顿一服，取利三、五行，不伤正气，身体轻健，肌肤光泽，永无
风痰疥癣之疾。
紫参丸
治热毒瘰 ，肿毒未成者内消，已溃者行脓止痛散肿毒。
麝香（另研） 腻粉（以上各三钱） 紫参 苦参（炒，以上各一两） 丹参（一两五钱） 连
翘（二两） 滑石（二两五钱）
上为末，别用玄参一斤，捣碎，以酒三碗，浸三日，揉取汁，去渣，用皂角子三百个，
，为末，用玄参酒熬皂角子末成膏，和前药丸如梧桐子大。每服一丸，以黄 汤下，一日加
一丸，至患人岁数即住；如四十则二十，每日减一丸。其疮自干，已结者，内消也。服此药
大有神效。
万灵丸
治脑背疽，并一切恶疮，初觉一二日。
朱砂 血竭 莲蕊（以上各等分） 麝香（少许）
上为细末，酒糊为丸，如黄米大，每服七丸，温酒送下。疮在上食后，在下食前，不过
二服即效。
治眼
治昏涩，退翳膜。
椒（四两，去子，合者不用） 甘菊花（二两五钱） 干熟地黄（二两，酒浸九蒸九曝）
上为细末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大。每服三十丸，食后细嚼新折米十余粒送下。
治吹奶
（出仲宽方）
治吹奶及一切恶疮，初觉一、二日，立效。
生姜（一两，去皮） 大黄 甘草（以上各五钱） 栝蒌（一个，去皮）
上共捣作一块，以水半碗同煎至七分，滤去渣，入没药、乳香末，共二钱半，通作一服
治痔疮
雄黄（五分，细研） 五灵脂（去石，烧过去烟） 五倍子（炮过，以上各一钱） 没药（二
钱五分，明净者） 白矾（半飞半生）
上为细末，研令极细，用纸花子贴疮口上。
洗痔
防风 当归 川芎（以上各等分）
上三味锉细，煎水去渣，令热温淋洗疮，用软帛印干，敷前药。
寸金丹
二名返魂丹，三名再生丸，四名追命丹，五名延寿丸，六名来苏丸，七名知命丸，八名
丸。非人勿示此方。若有人患疮，身未烂者，与三丸服之，咽下便活。如口噤，但斡开牙关
，研下三丸，灌下喉中立生。此方治发背、脑疽、痈肿遍身、附骨肿痛，先觉时饮水口中，
烦渴发热，四肢沉重，身体壮热。
麝香（一分） 南乳香 乌金石 轻粉 雄黄 狗宝 没药（以上各一钱） 蟾酥（二钱）
黄蜡（以上各三钱） 砂（五钱） 鲤鱼胆（干用） 狗胆（以上各一个，干用） 金头蜈蚣（
七条全者，酥炙黄色） 头首儿孩儿乳（一合）
上件为末，除黄蜡、乳汁二味，熬成膏子，同和丸，如绿豆大；小儿丸如芥子大。每服
，病重者加三丸。白丁香七个研烂，新汲水调送下。用衣服盖之睡，勿令透风，汗出为度，
大段疼痛。如无头疮肿，不过三服立效。服药后食白粥菰KT ，就服大妙。
牙疳药
（此药是京兆惠民局见行经验方）
治大人小儿。
拣信 青黛 轻粉（以上各一钱） 麝香（五分）
上同为细末，用小油调薄摊纸上，用水捶，捶实收起。每用临卧以浆水洗净印干，可疮
口大小，以药纸封之，至晓去药纸，漱净勿令咽下，大者不过三上，必效。
回疮蟾酥锭子
（陕西医局提举马云卿亲传经验方）
治疔疮毒瓦斯攻心欲死，以针刺其疮向心行处，但觉痛有血处下锭子；若累刺至心侧近
痛无血者，急针百会穴，痛有血者下锭子；若无血，以亲人热血代之，犹活三四。况疮初发
，无有不效。大抵疔疮生于四肢及胸背、头项、骨节间，唯胸背、头项最急。初生痛痒不
常，中陷如疔盖，撼之有根，壮热恶心是也。
天南星 疑冬花 巴豆仁 黄丹 白信（以上各一钱） 独活（五分） 斑蝥（去头足十个）
上为极细末，用新蟾酥和药如黍米大，捻作锭子。每遇疔疮，先以针刺其疮，必不知痛
血出者，下锭子；如觉痛不须再用，若更不知痛，再随疮所行处，迎夺刺之，至有血知痛即
止。其元疮亦觉疼痛，以膏药敷之，脓出自瘥。
用锭子法度∶以银作细筒子一个，约长三寸许，随针下至疮痛处，复以细银丝子内药于
筒内，推至痛处。
乳香托里散（同前所传）
治一切疮肿疼痛不可忍。如少壮气实者，先疏利，后服之大效。
罂粟壳（去 、蒂、萼，蜜炒，三两） 当归 芍药 川芎（以上五钱） 乳香 没药（以
上各一钱）
上为粗末，每服五钱，水一盏半，煎至十分，去渣。汤服。病在上者食后，病在下者食
前。若未止，即再服。
四圣旋丁散
（各医秘传经验方）
治疔疮生于四肢，其势微者，先以好醋调药涂上，以纸封之，次服内托里之药，其疔
自旋出根。
巴豆仁（五分） 白僵蚕 轻粉 砂（以上各二钱五分）
上为细末，醋调用之。
天丁散
（同前秘传经验方）
治一切疔疮及诸恶疮初生，以药涂之，急服托里内消。
山丹花蕊 香白芷（以上各二钱） 牛蒡子根（春采去皮） 天丁（乃皂角刺） 苍耳芽 大
力子（以上各五钱） 雄黄（一两）
上五月五日，受气修合，为细末，每用好醋涂纸，封之疔疮上，有黑甲者，必须胡桃油
浸，次涂之自可。
万应膏
（同前所传）
治一切疮疡，初生肿 甚者，无问大小，以膏可肿痕贴之，煎葱白水热淋两 时，良久
再淋，肿消为度。如疮老不能瘥者，亦收敛聚脓，决然早瘥。
黄柏 芍药 白芷 黄 木鳖仁 杏仁 当归 白芨 生地黄 官桂 玄参（去皮锉
没药 乳香（以上各五钱，研） 白蔹 黄蜡（以上各一两） 黄芩 大黄（以上各二两） 黄丹
（一斤） 芝麻油（二斤八两）
上件十四味，入油内浸一宿，绝早入沙锅慢火熬，用生柳条搅至申时，以焦褐色出火，
渣，又以重绵滤过，入丹再熬，旋滴水中成珠子不散者，出火毒绝烟，入乳香、没药、黄蜡
搅匀，用瓷器收贮，于土内埋七日，取出摊用。
治小儿面湮疮
俗云炼银疮者，是母受胎之日，食酸辣及邪味过度，多生此疮。
百药煎（五钱） 生白矾（二钱）
上为细末，小油调旋，搽之神效。
治赤白口疮
大人饥渴不时，小儿失惊，即生口疮。
生白矾（二钱）
上噙漱之，从沥顽涎，立效。
治干湿疥癣
此是肺受邪毒，运于四肢，久而不散，以生肉蠹。
硫黄（二两） 生白矾（八钱）
上为细末，油调火炙，抓破涂之，立效。
治汤火烧烫
无问新旧。
青槐枝（一两，锉碎） 绿豆粉（一两，炒黄色） 轻粉（一钱）
上同为细末，油调涂之，止痛减毒。
治破伤风
手足颤掉不已者。
朱砂（另研） 南星（去脐） 独活（去皮，以上各二钱） 人手足指甲（烧绝烟，六钱）
上为细末，分作三服，酒调服之，立效。
治破伤
无问新旧。
锻石
上用一味，验疮口大小尽干涂之，不须封裹，神效。
治风狗咬、破伤风
此病非为小可，乃九死一生之病，可急用之。
好斑蝥（七个，去翅足）
上为细末，酒调服之。于小便盆内，见衣沫似狗形者为效；如无，再服七次。虽无狗形
，亦不再发也。此方累试经验，今附于此。
《素问》说：疼痛、瘙痒、疮疡、痈肿、疽、疹、瘤气、结核，凡是郁结严重的，都属于热证；五脏功能不和，九窍就会不通；六腑功能不和，邪气留滞凝结就会形成痈。这些病变接近火气的性质，轻微发热则瘙痒，热势严重则疼痛，热毒侵犯邻近组织则灼伤皮肤形成疮疡，这都是火邪的作用。人的疮肿，是由于内热外虚所产生。如果受到风湿之邪的侵袭，就会生成疮肿。肺主气，外候于皮毛；脾主肌肉。肺气虚弱则腠理（皮肤纹理及汗孔）开泄，容易受风湿之邪侵袭；脾气湿盛且内有热邪，就会生疮。
肿胀，是由于寒热毒气客居于经络，使血液运行涩滞而不通畅，壅塞凝结而成肿。若风邪不发作，则表现为无头无根；若寒血相互搏结，则表现为有头有根；若壅盛化热则为脓；若红肿明显，则是风气流动导致溃破。疮疡以痛和痒为特征，痛属于实证，痒属于虚证，这里的“虚”并非指寒证，而是指热邪的轻重程度。痒是病情较轻的表现，所以火气旺盛于夏季，万物生长繁茂鲜艳。用艾灸火疗，或用热汤熏洗，而瘙痒反而加重的，这是微热所致。瘙痒消失，说明热邪已去，皮肤松弛，腠理开通，阳气得以宣泄，热邪散发而去。或者在夏天因皮肤瘙痒，用冷水浇淋，瘙痒却不消除，这是因为寒性能收敛腠理，闭密阳气，导致郁热在内无法发散，从而在体内产生怫热。疮疡都属于火热之邪，但腐烂流出脓水的，就像谷物、肉类、水果、蔬菜，热极则腐烂，溃烂成污水一样。溃烂腐烂，是水液代谢变化的结果。痈浅表而范围大，疽深在而症状恶，热胜血分则化为痈脓。疡有头，是小疮；疹浮起而小，是瘾疹；瘤气赤瘤丹，是热胜气火的表现。
没药膏
治疗各种痈疽发背、疮疖、跌打损伤导致的坏脓，能生肌止痛。又可用于贴敷灸疮，效果极佳。
麒麟竭、明乳香、没药（以上各一两，研碎） 当归（去芦头） 木鳖子仁（研碎） 杏仁（以上各五钱） 油头发（二两） 黄丹（六两）
以上药物先用一斤油，在石器或沙锅内露天放置炼油至熟，先放入木鳖子、当归、杏仁、头发，慢火炸至焦黄。油消耗五分后，离火，用绵布滤去药渣不用，再入锅下黄丹，用十条新柳条篦子轮流不停搅拌，待药液变黑，滴入水中能成珠状，软硬适中时，离火，加入三种研好的药粉，再搅拌均匀，装入瓷盒，放在地上，用盆覆盖一夜，以去除火毒。使用时摊在帛上或纸上，每天更换一次。
必效散
治疗长期患瘰疬无效者，服用此药效果如神。
南硼砂（二钱五分） 轻粉（一钱） 麝香（五分） 斑蝥（四十个，去头翅） 巴豆（五个，去皮心膜） 白槟榔（一个）
以上药物共同研成极细末，取两个鸡蛋清（去黄），调和药物均匀，倒入鸡蛋壳内，用多层湿纸糊住封口，不让透气，放在饭甑中与饭一起蒸，饭熟后取出药物，晒干，研成极细末。使用时根据患者虚实情况，体虚者每次服半钱，体实者每次服一钱，均用炒生姜酒送服。五更初服药，到天亮排出恶物。如果觉得小腹内疼痛，就用麻子烧灰与没药等分，同研细，用茶调下一钱，即可进入大肠。排出的恶物，像烂肉、老鼠儿及新卵内的雀儿形状，这是药效表现。孕妇不可服用。
乌金散
治疗痈疖肿硬，无头不变色者。
米粉（四两） 葱白（一两，细切）
以上共同炒至黑色，捣成细末，每次用量视情况而定，用醋调匀摊在纸上，贴在患处，一伏时（约两小时）更换一次，以消肿为度。
抵圣丸
治疗男子、妇人头面手足虚肿。
苦葶苈（适量，在火上隔纸炒过）
以上捣成细末，枣肉为丸，如小豆大。每次服十丸，煎麻子汤送服，饭前服用，每日三次。五到七天小便增多，肿消即为有效。如有喘嗽，煎桑白皮汤送服，忌食生冷、醋滑物及盐。需另制一种小丸给小儿服用，根据大小加减剂量，煎枣肉汤送服。
应效散
治疗气疳疮多年无效者。
地骨皮（适量，冬季自取，只要皮，阴干）
以上捣成细末，每次用纸捻蘸药粉插入疮口内，频繁使用，自然生肉。再用米饮调二钱，随时服用，每日三次。又名托里散。
白金散
治疗风邪攻注毒遍身，以及手足生热疮疼痛，有黄水流出。
桂府滑石
以上为细末，先用虎杖、甘草、豌豆各等分，约半两许，用两碗水煎上述三味至一碗，去渣，微热淋洗疮口，水冷后拭干，撒上滑石末，令其通畅，然后睡觉至天明，必定痊愈。
如圣散

牙疳药

治疗大人小儿。

回疮蟾酥锭子
（陕西医局提举马云卿亲传经验方）
治疗疔疮毒瓦斯攻心欲死，以针刺其疮向心行处，但觉痛有血处下锭子；若累刺至心侧近痛无血者，急针百会穴，痛有血者下锭子；若无血，以亲人热血代之，犹活三四。况疮初发，无有不效。大抵疔疮生于四肢及胸背、头项、骨节间，唯胸背、头项最急。初生痛痒不常，中陷如疔盖，撼之有根，壮热恶心是也。
天南星 疑冬花 巴豆仁 黄丹 白信（以上各一钱） 独活（五分） 斑蝥（去头足十个）
以上为极细末，用新蟾酥和药如黍米大，捻作锭子。每遇疔疮，先以针刺其疮，必不知痛血出者，下锭子；如觉痛不须再用，若更不知痛，再随疮所行处，迎夺刺之，至有血知痛即止。其元疮亦觉疼痛，以膏药敷之，脓出自瘥。
用锭子法度∶以银作细筒子一个，约长三寸许，随针下至疮痛处，复以细银丝子内药于筒内，推至痛处。
乳香托里散（同前所传）
治疗一切疮肿疼痛不可忍。如少壮气实者，先疏利，后服之大效。
罂粟壳（去 、蒂、萼，蜜炒，三两） 当归 芍药 川芎（以上五钱） 乳香 没药（以上各一钱）
以上为粗末，每次服五钱，水一盏半，煎至十分，去渣。汤服。病在上者食后，病在下者食前。若未止，即再服。
四圣旋丁散
（各医秘传经验方）
治疗疔疮生于四肢，其势微者，先以好醋调药涂上，以纸封之，次服内托里之药，其疔自旋出根。
巴豆仁（五分） 白僵蚕 轻粉 砂（以上各二钱五分）
以上为细末，醋调用之。
天丁散
（同前秘传经验方）
治疗一切疔疮及诸恶疮初生，以药涂之，急服托里内消。
山丹花蕊 香白芷（以上各二钱） 牛蒡子根（春采去皮） 天丁（乃皂角刺） 苍耳芽 大力子（以上各五钱） 雄黄（一两）
以上五月五日，受气修合，为细末，每次用好醋涂纸，封之疔疮上，有黑甲者，必须胡桃油浸，次涂之自可。
万应膏
（同前所传）
治疗一切疮疡，初生肿甚者，无问大小，以膏可肿痕贴之，煎葱白水热淋两时，良久再淋，肿消为度。如疮老不能瘥者，亦收敛聚脓，决然早瘥。
黄柏 芍药 白芷 黄 木鳖仁 杏仁 当归 白芨 生地黄 官桂 玄参（去皮锉 没药 乳香（以上各五钱，研） 白蔹 黄蜡（以上各一两） 黄芩 大黄（以上各二两） 黄丹（一斤） 芝麻油（二斤八两）
以上件十四味，入油内浸一宿，绝早入沙锅慢火熬，用生柳条搅至申时，以焦褐色出火，渣，又以重绵滤过，入丹再熬，旋滴水中成珠子不散者，出火毒绝烟，入乳香、没药、黄蜡搅匀，用瓷器收贮，于土内埋七日，取出摊用。
治小儿面湮疮
俗云炼银疮者，是母受胎之日，食酸辣及邪味过度，多生此疮。
百药煎（五钱） 生白矾（二钱）
以上为细末，小油调旋，搽之神效。
治赤白口疮
大人饥渴不时，小儿失惊，即生口疮。
生白矾（二钱）
以上噙漱之，从沥顽涎，立效。
治干湿疥癣
此是肺受邪毒，运于四肢，久而不散，以生肉蠹。
硫黄（二两） 生白矾（八钱）
以上为细末，油调火炙，抓破涂之，立效。
治汤火烧烫
无问新旧。
青槐枝（一两，锉碎） 绿豆粉（一两，炒黄色） 轻粉（一钱）
以上同为细末，油调涂之，止痛减毒。
治破伤风
手足颤掉不已者。
朱砂（另研） 南星（去脐） 独活（去皮，以上各二钱） 人手足指甲（烧绝烟，六钱）
以上为细末，分作三服，酒调服之，立效。

无问新旧。
锻石
以上用一味，验疮口大小尽干涂之，不须封裹，神效。
治风狗咬、破伤风
此病非为小可，乃九死一生之病，可急用之。
好斑蝥（七个，去翅足）
以上为细末，酒调服之。于小便盆内，见衣沫似狗形者为效；如无，再服七次。虽无狗形，亦不再发也。此方累试经验，今附于此。
According to the *Suwen* (Basic Questions): Pain, itching, sores, carbuncles, ulcers, rashes, tumors, and lymphatic nodules, when severe stagnation occurs, all belong to heat syndromes; disharmony of the five Zang organs leads to obstruction of the nine orifices; disharmony of the six Fu organs causes pathogenic factors to remain and condense, forming carbuncles. These lesions are close to the nature of fire; slight heat causes itching, severe heat causes pain, and heat toxins invading adjacent tissues scorch the skin to form sores. This is the function of fire pathogens. Human sores and swellings arise from internal heat and external deficiency. When attacked by wind-dampness, sores and swellings are generated. The Lung governs Qi and manifests on the skin and hair; the Spleen governs muscles. When Lung Qi is deficient, the Couli (skin pores) open, making one susceptible to wind-dampness; when Spleen Qi is damp with internal heat, sores are produced.
Swelling occurs when cold-heat toxic qi lodges in the meridians, causing blood stasis and obstruction, leading to congestion and condensation into swelling. If wind pathogen does not manifest, it presents as headless and rootless; if cold and blood contend, it presents as having a head and root; if congestion becomes excessive, pus forms; if redness and swelling are prominent, it indicates wind flow leading to ulceration. Sores are characterized by pain and itching; pain indicates excess syndrome, itching indicates deficiency syndrome. Here, "deficiency" does not refer to cold syndrome, but rather to the severity of heat. Itching indicates milder disease; thus, fire flourishes in summer, and all things grow lush and beautiful. Moxibustion or hot water therapy may exacerbate itching due to slight heat. When itching ceases, heat has dispersed, skin relaxes, Couli open, Yang Qi escapes, and heat dissipates. Conversely, washing itchy summer skin with cold water may fail to relieve itching because cold constricts Couli, closes Yang Qi, traps internal heat, and generates stifling heat internally. Sores are caused by fire-heat, but those rotting and discharging pus resemble grains, meats, fruits, and vegetables that rot when overheated. Ulceration and rotting represent the transformation of water. Carbuncles are superficial and large; ulcers are deep and malignant; heat overcoming blood transforms into carbuncle pus. You (sores with heads) are small sores; Zhen (rashes) are floating and small, known as Yin Zhen (urticaria); Liu Qi Chi Liu Dan (red tumor erysipelas) represents heat overcoming Qi and fire colors.
Moyao Ointment
Treats all types of carbuncles, back abscesses, boils, furuncles, and traumatic injuries with necrotic pus; promotes tissue regeneration and relieves pain. Also excellent for applying to moxibustion wounds.
Qilinjie (Dragon's Blood), Ming Ruxiang (Frankincense), Moyao (Myrrh) (each 1 liang, ground); Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, radix removed); Muguezi Ren (Semen Momordicae, ground); Xingren (Semen Armeniacae Amarum, each 5 qian). Oil Hair (2 liang); Huangdan (Lithargyrum, 6 liang).
First, use 1 jin of oil, refine it in a stone or clay pot exposed to the sky until ripe. Add Muguezi, Danggui, Xingren, and hair first, frying slowly until yellow and brown. When oil reduces by 5 fen, remove from fire, filter out dregs with cotton cloth, then add Huangdan. Stir continuously with ten new willow wands until black. Test by dropping into water; it should form beads with appropriate hardness. Remove from fire, add the three ground medicines, stir evenly, store in porcelain jars, place on the ground, cover with a basin overnight to eliminate fire toxicity. Apply on silk or paper, change once daily.
Bixiao San (Miraculous Efficacy Powder)
Treats chronic Luoli (scrofula) unresponsive to other treatments; this medicine works miraculously.
Nan Pengsha (Borax), Qingfen (Calomel), Shexiang (Moschus) (0.5 qian); Banmao (Mylabris, 40 pieces, remove head and wings); Badou (Crotonis Fructus, 5 pieces, remove skin, core, and membrane); Baibinglang (Arecae Betel Nut, 1 piece).
Grind all together into an extremely fine powder. Take two egg whites (remove yolks), mix medicine evenly, pour into eggshells, seal with multiple layers of wet paper to prevent air leakage, and steam with rice in a steamer. Once rice is cooked, take out medicine, dry in sun, and grind to fine powder. Dosage depends on deficiency or excess: deficiency patients take 0.5 qian, excess patients take 1 qian, both with fried ginger wine. Take at dawn (Wu Geng), expect expulsion of foul matter by daybreak. If lower abdominal pain occurs, take equal parts of burned Hemp Seed Ash and Myrrh, ground fine, mixed with tea, 1 qian dose, entering the Large Intestine. Expelled matter resembling rotten meat, mice, or chicks inside fresh eggs indicates efficacy. Contraindicated in pregnancy.
Wujin San (Black Gold Powder)
Treats hard, headless, non-discoloring boils and carbuncles.
Rice Flour (4 liang); Congbai (Scallion White, 1 liang, finely cut).
Stir-fry together until black, pound into fine powder. Mix with vinegar to desired amount, spread on paper, apply to lesion, change every two hours (Yi Fu Shi), stop when swelling subsides.
Disheng Wan (Worthy of Sage Pill)
Treats edema of head, face, hands, and feet in men and women.
Kutingli (Descurainiae Semen seu Lepidii Semen, sufficient quantity, stir-fried over fire through paper).
Pound into fine powder, make pills with jujube paste, size of small beans. Take 10 pills per dose, decocted with Hemp Seed Soup, before meals, three times daily. Effective when urination increases after 5-7 days and swelling subsides. For wheezing/cough, use Mulberry Root Bark Soup. Avoid raw/cold, sour/slippery foods, and salt. Make smaller pills for children, dosage adjusted by age, taken with Jujube Paste Soup.
Yingxiao San (Effective Powder)
Treats Qi Gan Chuang (gas-related gangrenous sores) unresponsive for years.
Digupi (Cortex Lycii, sufficient quantity, collected in winter, bark only, dried in shade).
Pound into fine powder. Dip paper twist into sore opening, apply frequently, promotes natural flesh growth. Also take 2 qian mixed with rice drink, anytime, three times daily. Also called Tuoli San (Support Interior Powder).
Baijin San (White Metal Powder)
Treats wind attacking poison throughout body, hot painful sores on hands/feet with yellow discharge.
Guifu Huashi (Talcum from Guifu).
Grind to fine powder. Decoct equal parts of Huzhang (Polygoni Cuspidati Rhizoma et Radix), Gancao (Licorice), and Wando (Pea) (approx. 0.5 liang) in two bowls of water until one bowl remains. Filter dregs, wash sores while warm. Dry when cool, sprinkle Talcum powder, keep open, sleep until morning; cure assured.
Rusheng San (Like Sage Powder)
Treats whole-body itching, sores from scratching, and urticaria.
Can Sha (Bombycis Batryticatus, 1 sheng).
Decoct in 2 dou of water until 1 dou remains. Filter dregs. Wash at night in wind-free area. Dry when cool, then sleep.
Da'e San (Large Moth Powder)
Treats knife/axe wounds. Stops bleeding, relieves pain, promotes tissue regeneration.
Wan Can'e (Late Silkworm Moth, sufficient quantity).
Grind to fine powder. Apply directly to wound, wrap with cotton, do not disturb. One application suffices.
Bixiao San (Miraculous Efficacy Powder)
Treats spider bites causing pain.
Yanchi (Salted Soybean Paste, stir-fried dry).
Grind to fine powder. Mix with oil and apply externally. Highly effective.
Gefen San (Clam Powder)
Treats scalds and burns.
Heli (Clam Shell, calcined until red, cooled).
Grind to powder. Mix with oil and apply, three times daily.
Treatment for Pediatric Dan Liu (Erysipelas/Tumor)
Muguezi (Fresh, shelled).
Grind to paste. Mix with light vinegar and apply. 3-5 times daily, effective quickly.
Treatment for Pediatric Gan Kou Chuang (Gangrenous Mouth Ulcer)
Tiannanxing (Arisaematis Rhizoma, 1 piece, peeled).
Grind to powder. Mix with good vinegar, spread on paper. Apply to sole of foot (left for males, right for females). Bind with cloth. Remove after three days, wash foot thoroughly with warm water.
Treatment for Po Shang Feng (Traumatic Tetanus)

Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, 1 qian, remove joints); Xie Shao (Buthus Marginatus tail tip, 2.5 qian); Manjiang (Zingiberis Officinalis Rhizoma Recens); Caowutou (Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix); Hei Fuzi (Prepared Aconiti Lateralis Radix, processed, peeled); Baifuzi (Typhonii Rhizoma); Tianma (Gastrodiae Rhizoma); Wushaoshe (Zaocys, soaked in good wine for two nights, bones removed, roasted yellow over fire); Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, each 5 qian).
Grind to fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with hot wine. 3-5 times daily. Severe cases improve within 3-5 days. Treat early; difficult if pathogen enters Zang organs. Four death signs incurable: 1. Face/head blue-black; 2. Sweat beads on forehead not flowing; 3. Small fixed eyes; 4. Sweating on body.
Wulong Wan (Black Dragon Pill)
Treats generalized wind sores, itching, scabies, tinea. Disperses wind, clears heat, benefits diaphragm, resolves phlegm-saliva, harmonizes Lung Qi. Eliminates old to generate new, cleans intestinal filth, treats many conditions if used appropriately.
Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus, fat ones, sufficient quantity, roasted, scrape off skin and strings, crush, knead with sweet water to extract thick juice, filter dregs, boil in silver/stone pot into paste, set aside); Qeiniu (Pharbitidis Semen, sufficient quantity, lightly stir-fried until fragrant, grind to take top powder).
Mix powder with paste, make pills like Sophora seeds. Take 30-50 pills per dose, 10-20 for Qi deficiency, with warm water after meals. Healthy excess individuals take once every 1-2 months, inducing 3-5 bowel movements without damaging healthy Qi, resulting in light body, glossy skin, and prevention of wind-phlegm/scabies/tinea.
Zican Wan (Salvia Pill)
Treats heat-toxin Luoli; dissolves un-ulcerated swelling toxins internally; promotes pus drainage, relieves pain, reduces swelling in ulcerated cases.
Shexiang (Moschus, separately ground); Nifen (Calomel) (each 3 qian); Zican (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma? Note: Text says Zican, likely distinct herb or typo for Danshen/Salvia, keeping literal); Kushen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix, stir-fried, each 1 liang); Danshen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix, 1.5 liang); Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus, 2 liang); Huashi (Talcum, 2.5 liang).
Grind to powder. Separately, use Xuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix, 1 jin), crush, soak in 3 bowls of wine for 3 days, knead to extract juice, filter dregs. Use 300 Soapberry seeds, grind to powder. Boil Soapberry powder in Xuan Shen wine to make paste. Mix with previous powder, make pills like Sophora seeds. Take 1 pill per dose, with Astragalus Soup. Increase dose by one pill daily until reaching patient's age, then stop (e.g., if 40 years old, start at 20, decrease by one daily). Sores dry up, internal resolution occurs. Great miraculous effect.
Wanling Wan (Myriad Spirits Pill)
Treats Brain/Back Ju (deep abscesses) and all malignant sores, effective in first 1-2 days.
Zhusha (Cinnabar), Xuexie (Daemonorops Draco Resina), Lianrui (Nelumbinis Stamen) (equal parts); Shexiang (Moschus, small amount).
Grind to fine powder, bind with wine paste, make pills like millet grains. Take 7 pills per dose, with warm wine. If sore is upper body, take after meal; lower body, before meal. Effective within two doses.
Treatment for Eyes
Treats blurriness/dryness, removes nebula.
Jiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium, 4 liang, remove seeds, discard closed ones); Gan Juhua (Chrysanthemi Flos, 2.5 qian); Gan Shu Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, 2 liang, soaked in wine, nine steams, nine exposures).
Grind to powder, bind with refined honey, make pills like Sophora seeds. Take 30 pills per dose, chew finely with ~10 newly harvested rice grains after meal.
Treatment for Chui Nai (Blocked Milk/Breast Abscess)

Treats blocked milk and all malignant sores, effective in first 1-2 days.
Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, 1 liang, peeled); Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma); Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 5 qian); Gualou (Trichosanthis Fructus, 1 piece, peeled).
Pound together into a mass. Decoct in half bowl of water until 70% remains. Filter dregs, add Moyao and Ruxiang powders (total 2.5 qian). Take as one dose.
Treatment for Hemorrhoids
Xionghuang (Realgar, 5 fen, finely ground); Wulingzhi (Trogopterori Faeces, remove stones, burn until smoke stops); Wubeizi (Galla Chinensis, processed, each 1 qian); Moyao (Myrrh, 2.5 qian, pure); Baifan (Alumen, half calcined, half raw).
Grind to extremely fine powder. Apply via paper flower to sore opening.
Washing Hemorrhoids
Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) (equal parts).
Cut fine, decoct in water, filter dregs. Wash sores with warm liquid, pat dry with soft cloth, apply previous powder.
Cunjin Dan (Inch Golden Pill)
Also named: Fanhun Dan, Zaisheng Wan, Zhuiming Dan, Yanshou Wan, Lansu Wan, Zhiming Wan, [Name Missing] Wan. Do not show this formula to unworthy persons. If someone suffers from sores, body not yet rotted, give 3 pills; swallowing brings life. If jaw locked, pry teeth open, grind 3 pills, pour into throat, immediate revival. Treats Back Abscess, Brain Ju, generalized carbuncles, deep bone swelling. Early symptoms: drinking water feels stuck in mouth, irritability/thirst, fever, heavy limbs, high body heat.
Shexiang (Moschus, 1 fen); Nan Ruxiang (Frankincense), Wujinshi (Iron Pyrite?), Qingfen (Calomel), Xionghuang (Realgar), Goubao (Dog Gallstone), Moyao (Myrrh) (each 1 qian); Chan Su (Toad Venom, 2 qian); Huangla (Beeswax) (each 3 qian); Sha (Arsenic Trioxide?, text says 'Sha', likely referring to a mineral drug, context implies arsenic or similar potent mineral, keeping literal 'Sha'); Liyu Dan (Carps' Gallbladder, dried); Goudan (Dog Gallbladder, each 1 piece, dried); Jintou Wugong (Scolopendra, 7 whole, fried in butter until yellow); Toushou Er Hai'er Ru (Forehead Child's Milk, 1 he).
Grind ingredients to powder. Except Beeswax and Milk, boil into paste. Mix with powder, make pills like mung beans; children's pills like mustard seeds. Take dose, add 3 pills for severe illness. Grind 7 Baixiang (White Dog Excrement), mix with fresh well water, swallow. Cover with clothes, sleep, avoid wind, induce sweating, relieve severe pain. For headless swelling, effective within 3 doses. After medication, eat white porridge with wild rice shoots (Gu KT), highly beneficial.
Ya Gan Yao (Gangrenous Gum Medicine)

Treats adults and children.
Jian Xin (Arsenic Orpiment?, text 'Jian Xin' likely refers to refined Arsenic compound), Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), Qingfen (Calomel) (each 1 qian); Shexiang (Moschus, 5 fen).
Grind together. Mix with small amount of oil, spread thinly on paper, hammer with water to compact. Store. Before bed, clean wound with grain water, dry. Seal wound with medicated paper according to size. Remove paper at dawn, rinse mouth, do not swallow. Large sores need no more than 3 applications; highly effective.
Huichuang Chan Su Ding Zi (Return Sore Toad Venom Plug)

Treats Ding Chuang (hard carbuncle) toxin attacking Heart, near death. Prick the path of toxin towards heart; if painful with blood, insert plug. If pricking near heart side yields pain but no blood, urgently prick Baihui GV20; if painful with blood, insert plug; if no blood, substitute with relative's warm blood, still 30-40% survival chance. Especially effective in early stages. Generally, Ding Chuang occurs on limbs, chest/back, head/neck, joints; chest/back/head/neck most urgent. Initial symptoms: irregular pain/itching, central depression like lid, firm root, high fever, nausea.
Tiannanxing (Arisaematis Rhizoma), Yi Donghua (Daphne Genkwa Flower? Text 'Yi Donghua'), Badou Ren (Crotonis Fructus Semen), Huangdan (Lithargyrum), Baixin (Arsenic Orpiment?) (each 1 qian); Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix, 5 fen); Banmao (Mylabris, remove head/legs, 10 pieces).
Grind to extremely fine powder. Mix with fresh Chan Su (Toad Venom) to make pills like millet grains, shape into plugs. For Ding Chuang, prick first; if no pain and blood flows, insert plug. If painful, do not re-prick. If still no pain, prick along path until pain/blood appears, then stop. Original sore will hurt; apply plaster, pus drains, heals.
Plug Insertion Method: Use silver tube (~3 cun long). Insert needle to painful spot, push fine silver wire with medicine inside tube to painful spot.
Ruxiang Tuoli San (Frankincense Support Interior Powder)

Treats unbearable pain from all sores/swellings. For young/excess individuals, first purge/move, then take for great effect.
Yangsuke (Papaveris Capsula, remove sepals/stalks, honey-fried, 3 liang); Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix); Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Alba/Rubra); Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) (each 5 qian); Ruxiang (Frankincense); Moyao (Myrrh) (each 1 qian).
Coarse powder. Take 5 qian per dose, 1.5 cups water, decoct to 1 cup, filter dregs. Drink soup. Upper body disease: after meal; Lower body: before meal. If not stopped, repeat.
Sisheng Xuanding San (Four Sages Rotating Ding Powder)

Treats Ding Chuang on limbs with mild progression. First apply with good vinegar, seal with paper, then take internal support medicine; Ding rotates out with root.
Badou Ren (Crotonis Fructus Semen, 5 fen); Bai Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus); Qingfen (Calomel); Sha (Arsenic Trioxide?) (each 2.5 qian).
Grind to fine powder, use vinegar to apply.
Tianding San (Heavenly Ding Powder)

Treats all Ding Chuang and initial malignant sores. Apply medicine, urgently take internal support/resolution medicine.
Shan Dan Hua Rui (Cornus Flower Bud? Text 'Shan Dan Hua Rui'), Xiang Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) (each 2 qian); Niubangzi Gen (Arctii Radix, spring harvest, peeled); Tianding (Soap Thorn); Cang'er Ya (Xanthii Young Sprout); Dali Zi (Arctii Fructus) (each 5 qian); Xionghuang (Realgar, 1 liang).
Prepare on May 5th. Grind to powder. Apply with vinegar-soaked paper sealed on Ding. If black crust exists, must soak in Walnut Oil before applying.
Wanying Gao (Myriad Response Plaster)

Treats all sores, especially initial severe swelling. Regardless of size, apply plaster to mark of swelling. Decoct Scallion White Water, hot, wash twice for two hours, wait, wash again. Stop when swelling subsides. For chronic non-healing sores, gathers pus, ensures early healing.
Huangbo (Phellodendri Cortex); Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix); Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix); Huangqi (Astragali Radix); Mugue Ren (Semen Momordicae); Xingren (Semen Armeniacae Amarum); Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix); Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma); Sheng Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix); Guanzi Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex); Xuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix, peeled/cut); Moyao (Myrrh); Ruxiang (Frankincense) (each 5 qian, ground); Bailian (Trollii Rhizoma); Huangla (Beeswax) (each 1 liang); Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix); Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) (each 2 liang); Huangdan (Lithargyrum, 1 jin); Sesame Oil (2 jin 8 liang).
Soak 14 ingredients in oil overnight. Early morning, slow fire in clay pot, stir with raw willow branch until Shen hour (3-5 PM).
