上件药。细研。每服。以温水调下二钱。日三四服。
肺脏主管气的运行。如果脏腑功能失调，肺气虚弱，风冷邪气侵袭，就会导致胸部胀满、肺部膨胀。肺部膨胀则导致气管不通利，气管不通利就会引发上气病，喉咙中发出像水鸡（青蛙）一样的鸣叫声。适宜服用麻黄散方剂。

以上药材，捣碎并过筛制成散剂。每次服用五钱，用水一大盏，加入生姜半块、大枣三枚，煎煮至剩余五分水量，滤去药渣，温服。
治疗上气病、肺气壅塞、喘息不利、咽喉发出水鸡声的方剂，适宜服用款冬花散方剂。
款冬花（三分）、杏仁（一两，用热水浸泡后去皮尖及双仁，麸炒至微黄）、紫菀（三分，清洗并去除苗土）、木通（一两，锉碎）。
以上药材，捣碎并过筛制成散剂。每次服用四钱，用水一中盏，加入生姜半块，煎煮至剩余六分水量，滤去药渣，不限时候，温服。
治疗上气病不能喘息、喉咙发出水鸡声的方剂。
桂心（半两）、赤茯苓（一两）、半夏（一两，用热水清洗七遍以去除滑腻感）、细辛（半两）、麻黄（二两，去除根和节）。
以上药材，捣碎并用粗罗筛过制成散剂。每次服用五钱，用水一大盏，加入生姜半块，煎煮至剩余五分水量，滤去药渣，不限时候服用。
以上皂荚刮去黑皮，随即涂抹酥油，用慢火炙烤直至酥油完全渗入，待其呈焦黄色，去掉种子，捣碎并过筛成粉末，用炼蜜调和制成丸剂，如……（原文此处缺失丸剂大小描述）。
又一方。
腊月猪尾（烧成灰）。
以上药材，细细研磨。每次服用时，用温水调服二钱，每日服用三四次。
The Lung governs Qi. If the Zang-Fu organs are disharmonious and Lung Qi is deficient, Wind-Cold pathogenic factors may invade, leading to chest fullness and Lung distension. Distension causes obstruction in the bronchial tubes; such obstruction results in "Shang Qi" (Rebellious Qi) characterized by a sound in the throat resembling that of a water fowl (frog). It is appropriate to administer Mahuang San (Ephedra Powder).
Mahuang (Caulis Ephedrae), 1 liang, roots and joints removed; Ziwan (Radix Asteris Tatarici), 1 liang, washed and free of seedlings and soil; Shegan (Rhizoma Belamcandae), 1 liang; Kuandonghua (Flos Farfarae), 1 liang; Xixin (Radix Asari), 3 fen.
Crush and sieve the above ingredients to make a powder. Take 5 qian per dose with one large cup of water, add half a piece of Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) and three Jujubae Fructus (Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae), decoct until five parts remain, remove the dregs, and take warm.
For treating Shang Qi with Lung congestion, dyspnea, and a water-fowl-like sound in the throat, it is appropriate to administer Kuandonghua San (Farfara Flower Powder).
Kuandonghua (Flos Farfarae), 3 fen; Xingren (Semen Armeniacae Amarum), 1 liang, soaked in hot water, skin and tips removed, double-kernels discarded, bran-fried until slightly yellow; Ziwan (Radix Asteris Tatarici), 3 fen, washed and free of seedlings and soil; Mutong (Caulis Akebiae Trifoliate), 1 liang, sliced.
Crush and sieve the above ingredients to make a powder. Take 4 qian per dose with one medium cup of water, add half a piece of Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens), decoct until six parts remain, remove the dregs, and take warm at any time.
For treating Shang Qi with inability to breathe and a water-fowl-like sound in the throat.
Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi Cassiae), 0.5 liang; Chifuling (Poria Cocos with Red Host), 1 liang; Banxia (Rhizoma Pinelliae Ternatae), 1 liang, washed seven times with hot water to remove slipperiness; Xixin (Radix Asari), 0.5 liang; Mahuang (Caulis Ephedrae), 2 liang, roots and joints removed.
Coarsely crush and sieve the above ingredients to make a powder. Take 5 qian per dose with one large cup of water, add half a piece of Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens), decoct until five parts remain, remove the dregs, and take at any time.
For treating Shang Qi with panting and a water-fowl-like sound in the throat, regardless of the duration of the disease.
Feizaojia (Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis), 5 ting; Su (Butyrum).
Scrape off the black skin from the Feizaojia (Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis), apply Su (Butyrum) continuously, and roast over slow fire until the Su is fully absorbed and the pods turn scorched yellow.
