治疗初生婴儿鹅口疮的各种方剂
凡是初生婴儿患鹅口疮的，其舌头上会有白色碎屑，像米屑一样。病情严重的，鼻孔外面也会有。治疗方法：用头发缠绕在筷子头上，蘸取清晨第一次汲取的井水（井华水），用来浓涂患处以止住症状。
治疗小儿鹅口疮的方剂：
以上药物，取柘树根，洗净，细切，用量为五升。如果没有柘树根，只用弓材也很好。用水一斗煮至取汁二升，滤去药渣，再煎取五合（注：原文此处似有脱漏或排版错误，通常此类方剂为浓缩液，依文意理解为煎煮浓缩）。

又一方：
马牙硝（一两）
以上药物，细研成粉末，取如大豆大小的量，每天三次，涂在舌头下面。
凡是初生婴儿六七天之后，血气收敛形成肌肉，口腔、舌头、喉咙、脸颊内部，应该是清凉洁净的。如果喉咙和舌头上有东西，像芦笋皮包裹着一样（形容肿胀或覆盖物），或者牙龈红肿疼痛，口中流出涎水，适宜服用牛黄散方。

以上方法，取蛇蜕皮烧成灰，研磨细腻，取少许敷在患处，就会见效。
Formulas for Treating Neonatal Thrush and Gingival Swelling
Regarding neonatal thrush: When an infant is born with thrush, there are white flakes on the tongue, resembling rice grains. In severe cases, these may also appear outside the nostrils. The treatment method involves wrapping hair around the tip of a chopstick, dipping it into "Jinghua Water" (well water drawn at dawn), and applying it thickly to the affected area to alleviate symptoms.
Formula for Treating Infant Thrush:
Take the root of the Zhe tree (Toona sinensis), clean it thoroughly, and finely slice it. Use five sheng. If the root is unavailable, bow wood is also suitable. Boil in one dou of water until two sheng of liquid remain. Strain out the dregs, and further decoct to obtain the final extract.
Formula for Infant Thrush Accompanied by Inability to Suckle:
Take white goose droppings, squeeze them in water to extract the juice, and drip the juice into the infant's mouth.
Another Formula:
Take millet, grind it in water to extract the juice, and apply it to wipe the affected area.
Baifan San (White Alum Powder) for Infant Thrush with Trismus (Lockjaw):
Bai Fan (White Alum, 1 fen, calcined to ash)
Zhu Sha Mo (Cinnabar Powder, 1 fen)
Mix and grind the above ingredients to an extremely fine powder. Apply to the infant's tongue three times daily. Clean the debris from the tongue using loose hair, keeping it frequently clean until recovery.
Another Formula for Infant Thrush:
Wrap loose hair around a finger, and rinse/wipe the affected area with warm water. Continue this for three days without interruption for effectiveness.
Another Formula:
Ma Ya Xiao (Mirabilite, 1 liang)
Grind finely into a powder. Take an amount the size of a soybean, and apply under the tongue three times daily.
Regarding infants aged six to seven days after birth: The blood and qi converge to form flesh; the inside of the mouth, tongue, throat, and cheeks should feel cool and be clean. If there are substances on the throat or tongue resembling sheathed reeds (indicating swelling or coating), or if the gums are swollen and painful with excessive salivation, Niu Huang San (Calculus Bovis Powder) is indicated.
Niu Huang San (Calculus Bovis Powder) for Swollen Tongue (Double Tongue) with Pain and Salivation:
Niu Huang (Calculus Bovis, 1 fen)
Bai Long Nao (Borneolum Syntheticum, 1 fen)
Zhu Sha (Cinnabaris, 1 fen)
Tai Yin Xuan Jing (Gypsum Fibrosum/Nitrum, 1 liang)
Qian Shuang (Plumbum Subacetatum, 0.5 liang)
Grind all ingredients together into a fine powder. For each dose, use half a qian. First, puncture the swollen tongue with a Bi needle (a surgical knife/needle) to release blood. Wash and wipe the mouth with saline solution.
Another Formula:
Lu Ru (Donkey Milk, 1 he)
Zhu Ru (Pig Milk, 1 he)
Combine and simmer until reduced to one he. Administer to the infant intermittently.

Xuan Ming Fen (Mirabilite Purified, 1 fen)
Tai Yin Xuan Jing (Gypsum Fibrosum/Nitrum, 1 fen)

Grind all ingredients finely together. Apply sparingly to the affected area.

Take snake skin (She Tui), burn it to ash, grind it finely, and apply a small amount to the affected area for effectiveness.

Take honeycomb from fields, burn it to ash, grind it finely, mix with water, and apply to the mouth for immediate cure.
