治小儿重舌舌强。宜用此方。
鹿角末
上件药。每用如黑豆大。敷舌上下。日三度用之。甚良。
又方。
蛇蜕皮（半两烧灰）
上件药。研如粉。每用半钱。醋调涂舌下。愈。
治小儿重舌。及口中生疮。涎出方。
上取白羊尿。涂少许口中。瘥。
又方。
上取桑根白皮汁。涂口中瘥。
又方。
桂心（一分） 白矾（半两）
上件药。捣罗为末。每用少许。干敷舌下。日三上。
治小儿重舌。口中生疮涎出。蒲黄散方。
蒲黄（一分） 露蜂房（一分微炙） 白鱼（一钱）
上件药。都研令匀。用少许酒调。敷重舌口中疮上。日三用之。
治小儿重舌。舌肿方。
上取牯牛乳。与少许饮之。
治小儿重舌方。
桂心（半两为末）
上以生姜汁。相和令匀。每用少许涂舌下。日再涂之。
又方。
上用露蜂房烧灰细研。酒和。敷舌下。即愈。

上以灶下黄土。研为末。酒和。敷舌下。

上以甑带。烧灰细研。敷舌下。
又方。
上以赤小豆捣罗为末。和醋涂舌下。
治小儿重舌欲死者方。
上用乱发烧灰细研。敷舌下。

上用桑根白皮一两。细锉。以水一大盏。煎至五分。去滓。渐渐以匙子抄少许。令儿吮
之。

上以衣中白鱼烧灰。敷舌下。

上以釜底墨。水调涂舌下。

上取簸箕尖。烧灰细研。敷于舌下。
又方。
黄柏（一分细研）
上以竹沥渍取汁。细细点口中良。
治小儿重舌欲死方。
乌贼鱼骨（一两烧为灰）
上研如粉。以鸡子黄。和涂喉外及舌下。
又方。
上烧蜣螂灰研之。津和。涂于舌下。
小儿重舌病，是由于脾脏有热所致。心开窍于舌，主司血液；脾的络脉，也出于舌下。心和脾两脏的热邪共同作用，导致小儿出现重舌、舌体僵硬的症状。适宜使用以下方剂治疗。
鹿角末：
取上述药物，每次用量如黑豆大小，敷在舌头的上下表面。每日使用三次，效果很好。
另一个方子：
蛇蜕皮（半两，烧成灰）：
将上述药物研成粉末。每次取半钱，用醋调匀后涂在舌下，即可痊愈。
治疗小儿重舌，以及口中生疮、流涎的方子：
取白羊尿，涂抹少许在口中，疾病即可痊愈。
另一个方子：
桂心（一分），白矾（半两）：
将上述药物捣碎并过筛制成粉末。每次取少许，干敷在舌下。每日敷三次。
治疗小儿重舌，口中生疮且流涎的蒲黄散方：
蒲黄（一分），露蜂房（一分，微炙），白鱼（一钱）：
将上述药物一起研磨均匀。用少许酒调匀，敷在重舌及口中疮面上。每日使用三次。
治疗小儿重舌的方子：
桂心（半两，制成粉末）：
用生姜汁与桂心粉调和均匀。每次取少许涂在舌下。每日涂抹两次。
另一个方子：
取上述露蜂房烧成灰，细研成粉末。用酒调和，敷在舌下，即可痊愈。
另一个方子：
取蒸笼的带子（甑带），烧成灰，细研成粉末，敷在舌下。
治疗小儿重舌病情危重的方子：
取乱发烧成灰，细研成粉末，敷在舌下。
另一个方子：
取桑根白皮一两，细细切碎。用水一大盏，煎煮至剩余五分水量。滤去药渣。慢慢用勺子舀取少许，让患儿吮吸。
另一个方子：
黄柏（一分，细研）：
用竹沥浸泡提取汁液，细细点涂在口中，效果良好。
The condition of double tongue (Chong She) in infants is caused by heat in the Spleen. The Heart opens into the tongue and governs Blood; the collateral vessels of the Spleen also emerge from under the tongue. Heat from both the Heart and Spleen organs leads to symptoms of double tongue and tongue stiffness in infants. The following prescription is suitable for treatment.
Deer Horn Powder:
Take the aforementioned drug, using an amount the size of a black bean each time. Apply it to the upper and lower surfaces of the tongue. Use three times daily; it is very effective.
Another Prescription:
Ophichus Skin (Ban Liang, burned to ash):
Grind the aforementioned drug into powder. Each time use half a Qian, mix with vinegar, and apply under the tongue until cured.
Prescription for treating infant double tongue, sores in the mouth, and salivation:
Take urine from a white goat, apply a small amount inside the mouth until recovered.
Another Prescription:
Take the juice of Mulberry Root Bark (Sanggen Baipi), apply inside the mouth until recovered.
Another Prescription:
Cinnamon Heart (Gui Xin, 1 Fen), Alum (Bai Fan, Ban Liang):
Pound and sieve the aforementioned drugs into powder. Each time take a small amount and apply dry under the tongue. Apply three times daily.
Puhuang San Prescription for treating infant double tongue, sores in the mouth, and salivation:
Puhuang (1 Fen), Exposed Beehive (Lufengfang, 1 Fen, slightly roasted), White Fish/Booklouse (Baiyu, 1 Qian):
Grind all aforementioned drugs evenly. Mix with a small amount of wine and apply to the double tongue and sores in the mouth. Use three times daily.
Prescription for treating infant double tongue and swollen tongue:
Take milk from a castrated bull, give a small amount to drink.
Prescription for treating infant double tongue:
Cinnamon Heart (Gui Xin, Ban Liang, made into powder):
Mix evenly with Ginger Juice (Shengjiang Zhi). Each time take a small amount and apply under the tongue. Apply twice daily.
Another Prescription:
Burn the aforementioned Exposed Beehive (Lufengfang) to ash and grind finely. Mix with wine and apply under the tongue until cured.
Another Prescription:
Take yellow earth from the bottom of a stove, grind into powder. Mix with wine and apply under the tongue.
Another Prescription:
Take the strap of a steamer basket (Zengdai), burn to ash, grind finely, and apply under the tongue.
Another Prescription:
Pound Red Adzuki Beans (Chixiaodou) and sieve into powder. Mix with vinegar and apply under the tongue.
Prescription for treating severe cases of infant double tongue:
Burn tangled hair (Luansha) to ash, grind finely, and apply under the tongue.
Another Prescription:
Take one Liang of Mulberry Root Bark (Sanggen Baipi), cut finely. Decoct with one large cup of water until reduced to two-fifths of the volume. Strain out the dregs. Slowly scoop up a small amount with a spoon and let the infant suck on it.
Another Prescription:
Burn Booklice found in clothes (Yizhong Baiyu) to ash and apply under the tongue.
Another Prescription:
Take soot from the bottom of a pot (Fudi Mo), mix with water and apply under the tongue.
Another Prescription:
Take the tip of a winnowing fan, burn to ash, grind finely, and apply under the tongue.
Another Prescription:
Phellodendron Bark (Huangbai, 1 Fen, finely ground):
Soak in Bamboo Sap (Zhuli) to extract the juice. Drip carefully into the mouth; this is beneficial.
Prescription for treating severe cases of infant double tongue:
Cuttlebone (Wuzeiyu Gu, one Liang, burned to ash):
Grind into powder. Mix with Egg Yolk (Jizi Huang) and apply to the outside of the throat and under the tongue.
Another Prescription:
Burn Dung Beetle (Qianglang) to ash and grind. Mix with saliva and apply under the tongue.
