Pediatric patients may develop Huoluan (cholera-like syndrome with vomiting and diarrhea) due to cold-heat imbalance and irregular breastfeeding or feeding, which causes the Qi of Yin-Yang and clear-turbid energies to interfere with each other and become disordered within the intestines and stomach.
The condition of heart and abdominal pain occurs when Cold Qi clashes with True Qi; if this pathogenic factor attacks upward to the Heart or downward to the Abdomen, it results in pain.
