牙齿脱落，是由于肾气虚弱，骨髓衰损，无法滋养润泽所致。加之风邪之气，侵袭经络，上行注于齿部。
治疗牙齿非正常时间脱落，使其牢固的铜末散方：
熟铜末（一两），当归、地骨皮、细辛、防风（去芦头，各一两）。
以上药物，捣碎过筛成粉末，与铜末混合研磨均匀如粉状。涂抹在脱落的牙齿上，每天三次。三到五日后牙齿即可牢固。一个月内不得咬硬物。
治疗疳积导致的虫蚀牙，牙齿不知不觉片片脱落，牙龈瘙痒疼痛，使用盐绿散方：
盐绿、黄连、麝香（细研，各一分），石胆（半分）。
以上药物，全部研磨成散剂，用棉布包裹，含在牙齿疼痛处咀嚼。
治疗牙齿松动，始终不牢固者，宜用出牙齿乌头散方：
川乌头（一分），巴豆（一七枚，去皮），大硼砂（一字），砂（一字），大蜘蛛（一枚，炙干），腻粉。
以上药物，捣碎过筛成散剂，加入巴豆研磨均匀。每次取少量涂于牙根处。一顿饭的时间后，牙齿即自行脱落。
治疗牙齿牢固但疼痛，使用胡桐泪散方：
胡桐泪（一分），川升麻（一分），白矾灰（一分），细辛、独活、麝香（细研）、当归、附子（炮制）。
以上药物，捣碎过筛成散剂。夜间临睡前，先刷牙漱口清洁口腔，取少量药粉贴敷患处。
治疗牙齿脱落，使牙齿牢固的牢牙散方：
颗盐、白矾（各半两）。
以上药物一起炒至干燥，研成粉末。每次用槐树枝蘸药粉敷在牙齿上，有唾液分泌即吐出。
治疗牙齿松动欲脱落，使牙齿牢固的牢牙散方：
五倍子、干地龙（微炒，各半两）。
以上药物，捣碎过筛成粉末。先用生姜擦拭牙根，然后将药末敷在上面。
治疗牙齿松动，使其重新坚固的贴齿方：
取皂荚，数量不限，烧成灰烬，研磨细腻。然后用新鲜地黄汁调和，团成鸡蛋大小，再次烧至通红。冷却后，掺入药粉。
治疗牙齿疼痛及脱落的方剂：
石胆一分，用人乳汁研磨成膏状。之后净口漱口，敷上药物，立刻就会感觉好转。凡是治疗牙齿疾病，必须先清除食物残渣，用针剔除干净，然后用药。
治疗牙齿松动不稳，必须拔除牙齿的神验方：
选取粗大的马齿苋，烧成灰烬，研磨成粉末，加入少量砒霜共同研磨均匀。每次取少量，置于齿根下，询问患者是否感觉到……
Tooth loss is caused by the deficiency of Kidney Qi (Kidney Energy) and the degeneration of bone marrow, which fails to nourish and moisten the teeth. Additionally, pathogenic Wind (Wind Pathogen) invades the meridians and collaterals, ascending to the teeth.
For treating premature tooth loss to stabilize them, use Copper Powder Dispersion:
Calcined Copper Powder (1 liang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Cortex Lycii (Digupi), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) [deprived of rhizome head, each 1 liang].
Crush and sieve the above herbs into powder, mix with copper powder, and grind until fine like flour. Apply to the loose teeth three times a day. After three to five days, the teeth will be stabilized. Do not bite hard objects within one month.
For treating gum disease (Gan Chi) where worms erode the teeth, causing them to fall off in pieces without notice, accompanied by gum itching and pain, use Salt Green Powder:
Chlorocrysocolla (Yanlü), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Moschus (Shexiang) [finely ground, each 1 fen], Chalcanthite (Shidan) [0.5 fen].
Grind all ingredients into a powder, wrap in cotton, and chew against the painful tooth area.
For treating loose teeth that remain unstable, use Aconite Powder for Tooth Extraction:
Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata (Chuan Wutou) [1 fen], Semen Crotonis Tiglii (Badou) [7-10 seeds, peeled], Borax (Dashengsha) [1 zi], Realgar (Sha) [1 zi], Spider (Da Zhizhu) [1 piece, dried by roasting], Calomelas (Nifen).
Crush and sieve the above herbs into powder, mix evenly with Badou. Apply a small amount to the tooth root. Within the time it takes to eat one meal, the tooth will naturally fall out.
For treating stable but painful teeth, use Poplar Bark Tear Powder:
Poplar Bark Tear (Hutonglei) [1 fen], Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Chuan Shengma) [1 fen], Calcined Alum (Bai Fan Hui) [1 fen], Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Duhuo), Moschus (Shexiang) [finely ground], Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata (Fuzi) [processed].
Crush and sieve the above herbs into powder. Before going to bed at night, brush teeth and rinse mouth thoroughly. Apply a small amount of powder to the affected area.
For treating tooth loss to stabilize teeth, use Stabilizing Teeth Powder:
Rock Salt (Ke Yan), Alum (Baifan) [each 0.5 liang].
Stir-fry the above ingredients until dry, then grind into powder. Use a twig of Huai tree to dip the powder and apply to the teeth. Spit out any saliva produced.
For treating loose teeth about to fall out to stabilize them, use Stabilizing Teeth Powder:
Galla Chinensis (Wubeizi), Dry Earthworm (Gan Dilong) [lightly stir-fried, each 0.5 liang].
Crush and sieve the above herbs into powder. First wipe the tooth roots with fresh ginger, then apply the powder.
For treating loose teeth to make them firm again, use Tooth Paste Formula:
Take Gleditsia Sinensis (Zaojia), quantity unlimited. Burn to ash, grind finely. Then mix with juice of Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Sheng Dihuang), form into balls the size of an egg, and burn until red hot. Cool down, then add powder.
For treating toothache and tooth loss:
Chalcanthite (Shidan) [1 fen]. Grind with human breast milk into a paste. Rinse mouth cleanly, then apply the medicine. Relief should be felt immediately. When treating dental issues, first remove food debris from between teeth using a needle, then apply medication.
