所谓“齿”，是指睡眠中牙齿相互切磨的现象。这都是由于气血虚弱，风邪客居于牙车筋脉之间，因此因为喘息，而风邪扰动。
治疗睡眠中牙齿切磨，宜服用羌活散方。

以上药材，捣碎筛为散剂。每次用半两，用水一大盏，酒一盏，煎至一盏，去渣滓。饭后温服。

川升麻（一两） 当归（半两） 防风（半两，去芦头） 藁本（半两） 杏仁（一分，汤浸去皮尖，双仁者）
以上药材，捣细罗为散剂。每次用一钱，用棉包裹，经常含咽津液。
治疗睡眠中牙齿切磨的方子。
秘密取得病人卧席下的尘土一捻，纳入口中。不要让病人知道。即刻停止。
Teeth are the termination of bones, nourished by marrow. The meridians of Hand-Yangming and Foot-Taiyang both enter into the teeth. If Qi and Blood are abundant, then Marrow will be robust, and teeth will regenerate.
For treating teeth that have not grown for a long time, or have not erupted for more than ten years. Apply this medicine; there is no case where they will not grow.

The term "teeth grinding" refers to the phenomenon of teeth rubbing against each other during sleep. This is all due to deficiency of Qi and Blood, with Wind-pathogen lodging between the muscles and meridians of the jaw (Ya-che). Thus, due to breathing, the Wind-pathogen moves.
For treating teeth grinding during sleep, it is suitable to take Qianghuo San Decoction.
Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo) Cortex Lycii (Digupi) Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, remove radicle) Ziziphi Spinosae Semen (Suanzaoren) Viticis Fructus (Manjingzi) Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren, soaked in water, peel and remove tip) above each 1 liang Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Shengdihuang) [Note: Quantity missing in source text, assumed standard dosage contextually]
Crush and sieve the above medicines into a powder. Each time use 0.5 liang, with one large cup of water and one cup of wine, decoct until one cup remains, remove dregs. Take warm after meals.
For treating Wind-pathogen lodging in the jaw muscles, causing teeth grinding during sleep, Shengma San.
Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Chuan Shengma) 1 liang Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) 0.5 liang Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) 0.5 liang (remove radicle) Ligustici Rhizoma et Radix (Ben) 0.5 liang Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren) 1 fen (soaked in water, peel and remove tip, double-kernel type)
Grind the above medicines finely through a sieve into a powder. Each time use 1 qian, wrap in cotton, frequently hold in mouth and swallow saliva.
Prescription for treating teeth grinding during sleep.
Secretly obtain a pinch of dust from under the mat where the patient sleeps, put it into the mouth. Do not let the patient know. It will stop immediately.
