荷根（二两研绞取汁） 酒（一大盏） 上二味。相和令匀。不计时候。温服半盏。
风冷导致的失声，是由于风冷之气侵袭会厌，损伤悬雍垂部位所致。声音的发出与气息通畅有关，关键在于喉门的开合。
治疗风冷入肺引起的咳嗽气逆、呼吸短促、说话无声、舌干口渴的症状，适宜服用五味子散方。
五味子（一两） 白石英（一两） 钟乳（一两） 款冬花（半两） 陈橘皮（三分，用汤浸泡后去除白色内瓤，焙干） 苏子（一两，微炒）
每次服用三钱。用水一中盏，加入生姜半分、大枣三枚，煎煮至剩余六分药液，滤去药渣。
治疗风冷导致失声、肺寒少气的症状，适宜服用人参散方。
人参（一两，去除芦头） 五味子（半两） 桂心（三分） 杏仁（半两，用汤浸泡后去皮尖及双仁部分，麸炒至微黄） 细辛（半两，炙至微赤，锉碎）
每次服用，不拘时候。
治疗风冷伤肺导致失声、咽喉不利的症状，适宜服用石菖蒲散方。
石菖蒲（半两） 钟乳粉（半两） 五味子（半两） 桂心（一两） 细辛（半两） 诃黎勒皮（一两，浸泡后去除白色内瓤，焙干）
以上药材，捣碎过细罗成为散剂，加入钟乳粉，共同研磨均匀。每次服用，不拘时候，用温酒调服一钱。
治疗风冷导致失声、语音不出，适宜服用杏仁煎方。
杏仁（二两，用汤浸泡后去皮尖及双仁部分，研成膏状） 紫菀（一两，洗净去除苗土） 五味子（一两） 贝母（一两，煨制令熟）
饴糖二两，蜂蜜二合，放入杏仁膏，用慢火熬制。
治疗风邪导致失声、声音哽咽不出，适宜服用木通丸方。
木通（一两，锉碎） 附子（一两，炮裂后去皮脐） 干姜（一两，炮裂锉碎） 赤茯苓（一两） 防风（一两，去除芦头） 杏仁（半两，用汤浸泡后去皮尖及双仁部分，麸炒至微黄）
制作成二十丸药丸。
治疗风冷导致失声、咽喉不利，适宜服用此方。
杏仁（一两，用汤浸泡后去皮尖及双仁部分，研成膏状） 生姜汁（一合） 桂心末（二两） 蜜（五两）
以上药材，混合在一起，放入银器中，用慢火熬制成膏状。每次服用，不拘时候，用温酒调服一茶匙。
又一方。
荷根（二两，研磨绞取汁液） 酒（一大盏）
将这两味药混合均匀，不拘时候，温服半盏。
Hoarseness or loss of voice caused by wind-cold results from the invasion of wind-cold pathogenic factors into the epiglottis, damaging the area of the uvula. The emission of voice depends on the smooth flow of qi, which is governed by the opening and closing of the glottis.
For cough with counterflow qi, shortness of breath, aphonia due to wind-cold invading the lung, dry tongue, and thirst, the *Wuweizi San* (Schisandra Powder) formula is indicated.
*Schisandrae Fructus* (Wuweizi, 五味子) (1 liang), *Quartzum Album* (Baishiyong, 白石英) (1 liang), *Stalactitum* (Zhongru, 钟乳) (1 liang), *Dendrobii Flos* (Kuandonghua, 款冬花) (0.5 liang), *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Vetustum* (Chenju pi, 陈橘皮) (3 fen, soaked in decoction, white pith removed, dried), *Perillae Fructus* (Suzi, 苏子) (1 liang, lightly stir-fried).
Take 3 qian per dose. Add 1 zhongzhan of water, 0.5 fen of fresh ginger, and 3 jujubes. Decoct until 0.6 zhongzhan remains, then filter out the dregs.
For loss of voice due to wind-cold, cold-lung with deficient qi, the *Renshen San* (Ginseng Powder) formula is indicated.
*Ginseng Radix* (Renshen, 人参) (1 liang, radix rhizome removed), *Schisandrae Fructus* (Wuweizi, 五味子) (0.5 liang), *Cinnamomi Cortex* (Guixin, 桂心) (3 fen), *Pruni Semen* (Xingren, 杏仁) (0.5 liang, soaked in decoction, skin and pointed ends removed, double-kernel parts removed, stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow), *Asari Radix* (Xixin, 细辛) (0.5 liang, processed with honey until slightly red, chopped).
Take as appropriate, without restriction on time.
For loss of voice due to wind-cold injuring the lung, with unsmooth throat, the *Shichangpu San* (Acorus Powder) formula is indicated.
*Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma* (Shichangpu, 石菖蒲) (0.5 liang), *Stalactitum Pulvis* (Zhongru fen, 钟乳粉) (0.5 liang), *Schisandrae Fructus* (Wuweizi, 五味子) (0.5 liang), *Cinnamomi Cortex* (Guixin, 桂心) (1 liang), *Asari Radix* (Xixin, 细辛) (0.5 liang), *Terminaliae Chebulae Pericarpium* (Helile pi, 诃黎勒皮) (1 liang, soaked, white pith removed, dried).
Pulverize the above herbs through a fine sieve, mix with *Stalactitum Pulvis*, and grind evenly. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine, without restriction on time.
For loss of voice and inability to speak due to wind-cold, the *Xingren Jian* (Apricot Kernel Decoction) formula is indicated.
*Pruni Semen* (Xingren, 杏仁) (2 liang, soaked in decoction, skin and pointed ends removed, double-kernel parts removed, ground into paste), *Asternatis Radix et Rhizoma* (Ziwan, 紫菀) (1 liang, washed to remove seedlings and soil), *Schisandrae Fructus* (Wuweizi, 五味子) (1 liang), *Fritillariae Bulbus* (Beimu, 贝母) (1 liang, roasted until cooked).
Add 2 liang of *Malt Saccharum* (Yitang, 饴糖) and 2 he of honey to the apricot kernel paste. Simmer slowly over low heat.
For loss of voice due to wind, with hoarse and blocked voice, the *Mutong Wan* (Akebia Pill) formula is indicated.
*Akebiae Caulis* (Mutong, 木通) (1 liang, chopped), *Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata* (Fuzi, 附子) (1 liang, processed until cracked, skin and umbilical scar removed), *Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens* (Ganjiang, 干姜) (1 liang, processed until cracked, chopped), *Poria Cocos cum Ligno Rubra* (Chifuling, 赤茯苓) (1 liang), *Saposhnikoviae Radix* (Fangfeng, 防风) (1 liang, radix rhizome removed), *Pruni Semen* (Xingren, 杏仁) (0.5 liang, soaked in decoction, skin and pointed ends removed, double-kernel parts removed, stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow).
Form into 20 pills.
For loss of voice due to wind-cold, with unsmooth throat, this formula is indicated.
*Pruni Semen* (Xingren, 杏仁) (1 liang, soaked in decoction, skin and pointed ends removed, double-kernel parts removed, ground into paste), *Zingiberis Recens Rhizoma Juice* (Shengjiang zhi, 生姜汁) (1 he), *Cinnamomi Cortex Pulvis* (Guixin mo, 桂心末) (2 liang), *Mel* (Mi, 蜜) (5 liang).
Mix all ingredients together, place in a silver vessel, and simmer slowly over low heat until it becomes a paste. Take one tea spoon per dose, mixed with warm wine, without restriction on time.
Another prescription.
*Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Radix et Rhizoma* (He gen, 荷根) (2 liang, ground and pressed to extract juice), Wine (Jiu, 酒) (1 da zhan).
Mix these two ingredients evenly. Take half a zhan, warmed, without restriction on time.
