治眼暴赤肿痛，风气热上冲，睛疼连眶，睑 赤烂，瘀肉侵睛，时多热泪，
逆损肝气，久劳瞻视，役损眼力，风砂尘土入眼涩痛，致成内外障翳，及一切眼
之。
蒺藜子（炒，去刺） 草龙胆（各六两） 赤芍药（半斤） 甘草（炙） 羌活 防风
（去叉枝
上捣为末。每服二钱，食后临卧，温酒调下。
治肝经不足，受客热风壅上攻，眼目赤涩，睛疼睑烂，怕日羞明，夜卧多泪，
两太阳穴疼，头旋昏眩，视物不明，渐生翳膜，并皆治之。
赤芍药 当归（洗，焙） 黄连（去须）
上等分，捣，罗为细末。每用二钱，极滚汤泡，乘热熏洗，冷即再温，洗，一日三、五
次洗，以瘥为度。忌腌藏、毒物。（其说云∶凡眼目之病，皆以血凝滞使然，故以行血药合
黄连治之。血得热即行，故乘热洗用，无不效验）
治男子、女人风毒上攻，眼目赤肿，怕日羞明，多饶眵泪，隐涩难开，
红烂，瘀肉侵睛，或患暴赤眼，睛疼不可忍者，并服立效。又治偏、正头痛
目眩晕，皆治之。
白术（生用） 菟丝子（酒浸，别研） 青葙子（去土） 防风（去芦） 甘草（炙） 羌
活（去
上各等分，为细末，炼蜜为丸，如弹子大。每服一丸，细嚼，白汤吞下，空心，食前，
日三服。
治一切风热毒瓦斯上攻两眼，多生眵泪，怕日羞明，隐涩难开，眶烂赤肿，或痒
时行暴赤眼，睛昏涩痛，悉皆治之。
白姜（炮） 防风（去芦，各一两） 曾青（四两） 蔓荆子（去皮，二两）
上为细末。每用少许末，搐入鼻中，立有功效。
治疗眼睛突然红肿疼痛，风气热邪上冲，眼球疼痛牵连眼眶，眼睑红肿溃烂，胬肉侵入黑睛，时常流出大量热泪，
因逆乱损伤肝气，长期过度用眼，劳损视力，风沙尘土进入眼中导致涩痛，进而形成内外障翳，以及所有眼部疾病。

将上述药材捣碎成粉末。每次服用二钱，饭后临睡前，用温酒调服。
治疗肝经不足，受外来风热邪气壅滞上攻，眼目红涩，眼球疼痛眼睑溃烂，怕光羞明，夜间睡眠时多泪，
两侧太阳穴疼痛，头晕目眩，视物不清，逐渐生成翳膜，以上症状均予以治疗。
赤芍药 当归（清洗，焙干） 黄连（去除须根）
以上药材等分，捣碎，过筛成为细末。每次取二钱，用极热的开水冲泡，趁热气熏蒸并清洗眼睛，冷却后再加热，每日清洗三至五次，以痊愈为度。忌食腌制食品及有毒食物。（其说法认为：凡是眼目的疾病，都是因为血液凝滞所致，所以用行血药配合黄连治疗。血液遇热则运行通畅，所以趁热熏洗使用，没有不有效的）
治疗男子、女人风毒上攻，眼目红肿，怕光羞明，分泌物和泪水较多，隐涩难睁，
红肿溃烂，胬肉侵入黑睛，或者患突发红眼病，眼球疼痛难以忍受的，服用此方立即见效。又治疗偏头痛、正头痛
及目眩晕，均予以治疗。

以上药材各等分，制成细末，用炼蜜制作成丸剂，大小如弹子。每次服用一丸，细细咀嚼，用温水送下，空腹或饭前服用，
每日三次服用。
治疗一切风热毒气上攻两眼，产生较多分泌物和泪水，怕光羞明，隐涩难睁，眼眶溃烂红肿，或者发痒
时常突发红眼病，眼球昏花涩痛，全部予以治疗。

以上药材制成细末。每次取少许药末，搐入鼻中，立即见效。
Treats sudden redness, swelling, and pain of the eyes; wind-heat pathogenic factors rushing upward; eye pain radiating to the orbits; redness and ulceration of the eyelids; pterygium invading the cornea; frequent profuse tearing; liver qi damaged by rebellious flow; visual fatigue from long-term overuse; astringent pain caused by wind, sand, or dust entering the eyes; formation of internal and external cataracts (neizhang yiyi); and all types of ocular diseases.
* Tribuli Fructus* (Chilizi) (stir-fried, thorns removed), *Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma* (Caolongdan) (each 6 liang), *Paeoniae Radix Rubra* (Chishaoyao) (8 liang), *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata cum Melle* (Zhigancao), *Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix* (Qianghuo), *Saposhnikoviae Radix* (Fangfeng).
(Remove forked branches.)
Pulverize the above ingredients. Take 2 qian per dose, after meals and before bedtime, mixed with warm wine.
Treats deficiency of the Liver channel, where exogenous wind-heat pathogens cause stagnation and attack upward; redness and astringency of the eyes; eye pain and eyelid ulceration; photophobia; excessive tearing during sleep; pain in the temporal regions; dizziness and vertigo; blurred vision; gradual formation of corneal opacities (yimo). All these conditions are treated.
* Paeoniae Radix Rubra* (Chishaoyao), *Angelicae Sinensis Radix* (Danggui) (washed, dried by baking), *Coptidis Rhizoma* (Huanglian) (mustaches removed).
Divide the above ingredients into equal parts, pulverize, and sieve into a fine powder. Use 2 qian each time, steep in boiling hot water, fumigate and wash the eyes while hot. Re-warm when cool. Wash 3 to 5 times a day until healed. Avoid pickled foods and toxic substances. (The theory states: All eye diseases are caused by blood stasis. Therefore, blood-invigorating herbs combined with Huanglian are used. Blood flows freely when heated, so hot fumigation and washing are effective.)
Treats men and women suffering from wind-toxin attacking upward, causing redness and swelling of the eyes, photophobia, excessive discharge and tearing, astringency making opening difficult, redness and ulceration, pterygium invading the cornea, or sudden acute conjunctivitis (baochi yan) with unbearable eye pain. Taking this formula brings immediate relief. It also treats lateral headache, frontal headache, and dizzy vision.
* Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma* (Baizhu) (used raw), *Cuscutae Semen* (Tusizi) (soaked in wine, ground separately), *Celosiae Semen* (Qingxiangzi) (cleaned of soil), *Saposhnikoviae Radix* (Fangfeng) (rhizome removed), *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata cum Melle* (Zhigancao), *Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix* (Qianghuo) (rhizome removed).
Grind the above equal parts into a fine powder. Mix with refined honey to make pills the size of a bullet. Take one pill per dose, chew thoroughly, and swallow with warm water on an empty stomach or before meals. Take three times daily.
Treats all wind-heat toxins attacking both eyes, causing excessive discharge and tearing, photophobia, astringency making opening difficult, orbital ulceration and redness/swelling, itching, or sudden acute conjunctivitis with blurry, astringent, and painful eyes. All these conditions are treated.
* Zingiberis Rhizoma Praeparatum* (Baijiang) (processed), *Saposhnikoviae Radix* (Fangfeng) (rhizome removed, each 1 liang), *Aztrolite* (Zengqing) (4 liang), *Viticis Fructus* (Manjingzi) (peeled, 2 liang).
Pulverize the above ingredients into a fine powder. Snuff a small amount into the nose for immediate efficacy.
