木鳖子一个（去壳），为末，绵裹塞鼻中（左眼塞右，右眼塞左），一二夜愈。或五倍子
末，蜜调敷眼皮上。
一妇双目失明，梦观音大士云念诵能伏灾风火，并明照世间二语，至百遍即愈。后有诵
千遍不效者，虔心斋戎，诵至数月，双目亦明。
耳疳并治震耳、缠耳、 耳、风耳 抱过鸡蛋壳内白皮，炒黄研末，香油调灌耳内。或
发灰末，每一钱加冰片七厘，研末，吹少许入耳。
如棉花子大极痛（名耳定） 人指甲，焙存性，末，加冰片少许，吹入。
极痛
烧酒滴入，侧卧半时，即可钳出。如不效，以前耳疳方（抱过鸡蛋壳）治之。
耳内如有虫走，或血水流出，或干痛难忍 蛇蜕皮，烧存性，研末吹之。
铅粉掺之。
蚯蚓粪为末吹（用香油调搽亦可）。或黄柏五钱，马齿苋一两，共末敷。
田中泥放耳边。
用铜器耳边敲打自出。
桃叶作枕枕之，虫自鼻出。或以火熨桃叶，卷塞耳门。
麻油数点滴入。
夜间虫入耳中切勿惊叫，宜点灯端坐，耳向火光，旁人暂避，自出。又用手紧闭耳鼻口，
惟虫入之耳不闭，自出。
有瞽目点此亦去翳复明神方也
龙胆草，瓦器内熬成膏，除火气，遇患目疾者，
端午采杏树叶一百片，水两汤碗，煎后露三宿，去叶，将水收存，遇症洗之。（无恙者
洗之亦明目）
取木鳖子一枚（去除外壳），研成粉末，用棉布包裹后塞入鼻孔中（左眼患病塞右鼻孔，右眼患病塞左鼻孔），经过一到两个晚上即可痊愈。或者使用五倍子粉末，用蜂蜜调和后敷在眼皮上。
有一位妇女双目失明，梦见观音大士说：“念诵能够降伏灾祸、风火，并照亮世间这两句话”，念诵一百遍就能痊愈。后来有人念诵一千遍没有效果，便虔诚地斋戒修行，念诵了几个月，双眼也恢复了视力。
治疗耳疳以及震耳、缠耳、[缺失字]耳、风耳等病症：取抱过鸡蛋的蛋壳内的白皮，炒至黄色后研成粉末，用香油调和滴入耳内。或者使用头发灰粉末，每钱加入冰片七厘，研成细末，吹入少许到耳中。
如果疼痛剧烈如棉花籽大小（名为“耳定”）：取人指甲，焙干保留药性，研成粉末，加入少许冰片，吹入耳中。
如果疼痛极其剧烈：将烧酒滴入耳内，侧卧半小时，即可用镊子夹出异物。如果无效，用前面治疗耳疳的方子（抱过鸡蛋壳）来治疗。
如果耳内有虫子爬行，或者有血水流出，或者干燥疼痛难以忍受：取蛇蜕下的皮，烧焦保留药性，研成粉末吹入耳中。也可以用铅粉掺入吹入。
用蚯蚓粪研成粉末吹入（用香油调和涂抹也可以）。或者用黄柏五钱、马齿苋一两，共同研成粉末敷贴。
将田里的泥土放在耳边。
用生半夏粉末，用麻油调和涂抹耳门穴。或者用白糖浓调开水滴入耳内。或者滴入羊乳。
用铜器在耳边敲打，异物自会出来。
用桃叶做枕头枕着它，虫子会从鼻子爬出。或者用火熨烫桃叶，卷起来塞住耳门。
滴入几滴麻油。
夜间有虫子进入耳中千万不要惊叫，应该点灯端正坐好，耳朵朝向火光，旁人暂时避开，虫子自然会出来。又可以用手紧紧捂住耳鼻口，只有进虫的那只耳朵不捂，虫子也会自己出来。
对于患有白内障导致失明的情况，此法也能去除翳障恢复视力，是神效方剂。
取龙胆草，在瓦器中熬制成膏状，除去火气，遇到患眼疾的人使用。
端午节采集杏树叶一百片，用水两汤碗的量，煎煮后露天放置三个夜晚，去掉叶子，将水收集保存，遇到症状时用来清洗眼睛。（健康的人清洗也能明目）
Take one *Strychnos nux-vomica* seed (remove the shell), grind it into powder, wrap it in cotton, and insert it into the nasal cavity (if the left eye is affected, plug the right nostril; if the right eye is affected, plug the left nostril). It will heal after one or two nights. Alternatively, use *Galbula chinensis* powder, mix with honey, and apply to the eyelids.
A woman who was blind in both eyes dreamed of Guanyin Bodhisattva saying: "Recite these two phrases that can subdue disasters, wind, and fire, and illuminate the world." Reciting them one hundred times would lead to recovery. Later, someone who recited a thousand times without effect, practiced devout fasting and meditation, and recited for several months, eventually regained their sight.
For treating *Er Gan* (Ear Fungus) as well as Zhen Er (Thundering Ear), Chan Er (Coiling Ear), [missing character] Er, and Feng Er (Wind Ear): Take the inner white membrane of an eggshell from which a chick has hatched, fry until yellow, grind into powder, mix with sesame oil, and instill into the ear. Or, use hair ash powder, add 7 li of *Borneolum Syntheticum* per qian, grind into fine powder, and insufflate a small amount into the ear.
If the pain is extremely severe, like a cotton seed (named "Er Ding"): Take human fingernails, calcine until preserved in nature, grind into powder, add a little *Borneolum Syntheticum*, and insufflate into the ear.
If the pain is extremely severe: Instill burning wine into the ear, lie on one side for half an hour, and then extract the foreign body with tweezers. If ineffective, treat with the previous formula for *Er Gan* (eggshell).
If there are insects crawling in the ear, or blood and fluid flowing out, or dryness and unbearable pain: Take snake skin shed by snakes, burn until charred but preserved in nature, grind into powder, and insufflate. Alternatively, mix with *Plumbum Carbonicum* and insufflate.
Insufflate powder made from earthworm excrement (mixing with sesame oil for application is also acceptable). Or, use 5 qian of *Phellodendri Cortex* and 1 liang of *Portulacae Herba*, grind together into powder, and apply.
Place mud from fields near the ear.
Apply powder of raw *Pinelliae Rhizoma* mixed with sesame oil to the Er Men acupoint. Or, mix granulated sugar thickly with boiling water and instill into the ear. Or, instill sheep's milk.
Strike a copper vessel near the ear; the foreign body will come out naturally.
Use peach leaves as a pillow to rest upon; the insects will crawl out of the nose. Or, heat peach leaves with fire, roll them up, and stuff them into the ear opening.
Instill a few drops of sesame oil.
At night, if an insect enters the ear, do not scream in panic. Light a lamp, sit upright, face the ear towards the light, have others temporarily step aside, and the insect will exit on its own. Alternatively, tightly cover the nose, ears, and mouth with hands, leaving only the ear through which the insect entered uncovered; the insect will exit on its own.
For those suffering from blindness due to cataracts, this method can also remove the nebula and restore vision; it is a miraculous formula.
Take *Gentianae Radix*, decoct in a pottery vessel until it becomes a paste, remove the "fire qi" (heat/toxicity), and apply to patients with eye diseases.
On the Dragon Boat Festival, collect one hundred apricot tree leaves, boil in two bowls of water, expose to the dew for three nights, remove the leaves, store the water, and use it to wash the eyes when symptoms occur. (Washing with this water even for healthy people can improve vision.)
