扫下研细收瓷瓶吹之。（有用西瓜者，每瓜一斤，硝矾各二两，开头瓜盖仍须签好）。（此方
虚火喉痛忌用，并治大疮热毒敷患处，目病和人乳点均效）
猪牙皂七根（去边），水二钟，煎六分去渣，入蜜少许。或鸡子清少许，温服，即吐出
痰。外用米醋调皂角末，涂颈并下颏，干再换，有乳蛾自破。
蓝靛入猪胆内，扎紧，挂在不见日无烟火雨不到之处，一年取下，研细末，瓷瓶收好，
遇症用少许，加冰片同研吹之。（统治咽喉诸症，仁者宜配之济人）
麻雀屎二十一粒，沙糖少许，和成三丸，每用一丸，以薄绵裹吞之。甚至三丸愈
用柴灰冲水服用几杯，立刻见效。
将生半夏研成粉末，吹入鼻腔内，待涎液流出即见效。
另一种方法：吞服薏苡仁两粒，效果良好。此法同时治疗喉痈（咽喉部的脓肿）。
将黄茶、菊花捣碎取汁，与半钟凉水混合，冷服。
另一种方法：将灯草烧成灰，吹入患处。
将芙蓉叶捶打取汁，煮鸡蛋，一枚贴敷囟门（前囟），一枚贴敷肚脐。

猪牙皂七根（去掉边缘部分），加水两钟，煎至六分，去渣，加入少许蜂蜜。或加入少许蛋清，温服，即可吐出痰液。外用米醋调匀皂角末，涂抹颈部及下巴，干了再换，有乳蛾（扁桃体炎）自破的效果。
白僵蚕三钱，水煎服下咽即见效。或将白僵蚕研成细末吹入喉咙也可以。
将蓝靛放入猪胆内，扎紧，挂在不见阳光、无烟火、雨淋不到的地方，一年后取下，研成细末，收于瓷瓶中保存，遇到病症时用少许，加冰片一同研细吹入。（统治咽喉各类症状，仁慈之人宜配合使用以济助世人）
麻雀屎二十一粒，加少许砂糖，和成三丸，每次用一丸，用薄棉包裹吞服。严重的甚至三丸即可治愈。
独头蒜塞入鼻中，异物可自行排出。
又一方奇效：用冷水一碗，以中指蘸水，在患者头顶上方悬空画圈，口中默念“龙化水”，不限遍数，然后将水倾倒泼洒，即可化解。
Take ash from firewood (Chaihui) mixed with water, drink several cups, and the effect will be immediate.
Grind raw Pinellia Rhizome (Sheng Banxia) into powder, blow it into the nasal cavity; efficacy is achieved when saliva flows out.
Another prescription: Swallow two grains of Coix Seed (Yiyiren), which is beneficial. This also treats throat abscess (Houyong).
Crush Yellow Tea (Huangcha) and Chrysanthemum Flower (Juhua) to extract juice, mix with half a cup of cool water, and take cold.
Another prescription: Burn rush stem (Dengcao) to ash and blow it into the affected area.
Pulverize Hibiscus Leaf (Furongye) to extract juice, boil an egg, apply one to the anterior fontanelle (Ximen) and one to the umbilicus (Shenque).
Cut off one end of a cucumber and remove the pulp. Place 1.5 taels of Saltpeter (Huoxiao) and 1.5 taels of Raw Alum (Sheng Baifan) ground into powder inside the cucumber. Hang it in a shaded eaves area away from direct sun. When dry, white frost will form. Sweep it down, grind finely, store in a porcelain bottle, and blow into the throat. (Some use watermelon instead: for every jin of watermelon, use 2 liang each of saltpeter and alum; replace the cut top of the cucumber/watermelon and secure it with a stick.) (This prescription is contraindicated for sore throat caused by deficiency fire; it can also be applied to sores with heat-toxin, and mixed with human milk for eye conditions, both are effective.)
Use seven stalks of Chinese Tamarisk Pod (Zhuya Zao) (remove edges), add two zhong of water, decoct until reduced to six-tenths, strain, and add a little honey. Alternatively, add a little egg white, take warm, and phlegm will be vomited up. Externally, mix tamarisk pod powder with rice vinegar, apply to the neck and chin; reapply when dry. This causes tonsillar hypertrophy (Rumei) to rupture spontaneously.
Decoct 3 qian of White Silkworm (Bai Jiangcan) in water and swallow; efficacy is immediate upon swallowing. Alternatively, grind into fine powder and blow into the throat.
Place Indigofera Tinctoria Leaf (Landian) inside a pig gallbladder, tie tightly, and hang in a place without sunlight, smoke, or rain. After one year, take it down, grind into fine powder, and store in a porcelain bottle. For symptoms, use a small amount, mix with Borneol (Bingpian), grind together, and blow into the throat. (This treats various throat disorders; benevolent practitioners should combine it to help others.)
For tonsillar hypertrophy (Rumei): Take a small amount of Tung Oil (Tongyou); entering the throat induces vomiting of saliva, leading to recovery.
Swallow twenty-one grains of Sparrow Dropping (Maque Shi) formed into three pills with a little rock sugar, wrapping one pill in thin cotton for each dose. Even severe cases may be cured with three pills.
Plug a single-clove garlic (Dutou Suan) into the nose; the obstruction will discharge itself.
Another miraculous prescription: Fill a bowl with cold water. Dip the middle finger in the water and draw circles in the air above the patient's head while silently chanting "Dragon transforms water." Repeat as many times as needed, then pour the water away to dissolve the obstruction.
Sprinkle Powder of Chinese Gall (Wubeizi) into the throat; the obstruction dissolves immediately.
Another prescription: Drink juice of Narcissus Bulb (Shuixianhua Gen); or crush Ramie Root (Zhuma Gen) to extract juice and administer with a tea spoon; or drink juice of Hosta Plantaginea Root (Yuzanhua Gen).
