又方 九月九日取高粱根，阴干，烧存性为末，酒下，治逆产横生甚效。
栀子烧研，空心热酒服一匙，甚者五服愈。
陈艾揉作丸，如小麦大，将产妇右脚小指尖头，火灸三壮。或蛇蜕一条， 为末，滚酒
冲服。（切勿针刺）
用新朱笔在黄纸上（无新朱笔，用新墨笔亦可），写语忘敬遗四字，贴床柱及门窗上（
凡有门窗之处各贴一张），临产，令产妇默念此四字，即产，可免邪祟。
又方 用本年黄历面上钦天监印花烧灰，白开水送服，勿令人知，屡验。或用新笔纸墨
净砚，写日月如箭急（共五字，均不宜提勾，切记），贴产妇房口并房内，如仍未生下，急
用火焚此五字于净水中与服下，即生矣。
又方急采树叶一片，或花叶草叶，要新鲜青的，以净水贴在床背，勿令人知。
用四焰灯火（一盏内用四灯焰也），加朱砂于盏内，点之即安。

又一方：用本年黄历面上的钦天监印花烧成灰，白开水送服，不要让人知道，屡试屡验。或者用新的笔、纸、墨和干净的砚台，写下“日月如箭急”（共五个字，均不宜提勾，切记），贴在产妇房门口并房内，如果仍未生下，急忙将这五个字用火焚烧于净水中与服下，即可分娩。
又一方：紧急采集一片树叶，或花叶草叶，要新鲜青绿的，以净水贴在床背，不要让人知道。
用四焰灯火（一盏灯内有四个灯焰），在盏内加入朱砂，点燃即安。
生半夏如豆大，研为粉末，吹入鼻中，打喷嚏后即苏醒。
Secretly cut half of the husband's pubic hair, burn it to ash, mix with wine, and have the husband hand it to the wife to drink immediately for delivery; do not let the wife know.
Take 6 qian of soot from the bottom of a cooking pot (Guodihei), and 6 qian of Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, dried without exposure to fire). Grind them into fine powder together. Mix with rice vinegar to form a paste, or take with boiled water. Alternatively, take one cup of child's urine (Tongbian) and a small amount of yellow wine, decoct together with water, and take 3 qian per dose. Or dip the middle finger in soot from the bottom of a cooking pot and draw symbols on the infant's feet (draw one symbol).
Another prescription: On the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, collect sorghum roots (Gaolianggen), dry them in the shade, burn until partially carbonized ("preserving nature"), grind into powder, and take with wine. This is very effective for treating malpresentation and transverse lie.
Burn gardenia fruits (Zhizi) and grind into powder. Take one spoonful with hot wine on an empty stomach. For severe cases, five doses will cure.
Rub aged mugwort leaves (Chen'ai) into pills the size of wheat grains. Moxibustion with three moxa cones on the tip of the little toe of the parturient woman's right foot. Alternatively, take one snake slough (Shetui), grind into powder, and take with boiling wine. (Do not use acupuncture needles.)
Use a new vermilion pen on yellow paper (if no new vermilion pen is available, a new ink brush can be used) to write the four characters "Yu Wang Jing Yi". Paste these on bedposts and doors/windows (paste one at every door/window location). During labor, have the parturient woman silently recite these four characters to facilitate delivery and avoid evil influences.
Another prescription: Burn the imperial seal stamp from the current year's almanac cover to ash, and take with plain boiled water. Do not let others know. This has been repeatedly verified. Or use a new brush, paper, ink, and clean inkstone to write the five characters "Ri Yue Ru Jian Ji" (Sun and Moon are as urgent as arrows). Do not lift the hook stroke in writing these characters, remember this well. Paste these in the doorway and inside the parturient woman's room. If she still does not deliver, urgently burn these five characters in clean water and administer orally, then delivery will occur.
Another prescription: Urgently pick a fresh green leaf, flower leaf, or grass leaf. Stick it to the back of the bed using clean water. Do not let others know.
Use a lamp with four flames (a single lamp containing four wicks/flammable points). Add cinnabar (Zhusha) into the lamp holder and light it; peace will ensue.
Raw pinellia rhizome (Sheng Banxia) the size of a bean, grind into powder, insufflate into the nose. Life will return upon sneezing.
Take half a bowl of white honey (Baimi) and half a bowl of sesame oil (Xiangyou). Decoct until reduced by half, then take.
Stove heart earth (Zaoxintu) (the earth from the center of the stove, side earth is ineffective), grind finely, mix with wine to take 1 qian, and apply to the navel of the mother. Alternatively, take half a bell of honey and half a bell of sesame oil, decoct until reduced by half, then take.
