上锉散，每二钱，紫草少许，薄荷一叶煎，温服。
如圣麦门冬汤 治小儿疮疹，毒瓦斯上攻，咽喉口舌生疮，不能吮乳。
桔梗 牛旁子（炒） 麦门冬（去心） 甘草（各半两）
上锉散，每服二钱，淡竹叶煎服。活人书云∶为末，每服二匙，沸汤调，细细呷入口内含下。
太和散 治小儿疮 ，及伤寒时气，病后余邪不解发热。
生地黄 当归 人参 地骨皮 赤芍药 甘草（各等分）
上锉散，每二钱，白水煎服。

密陀僧
上为细末，水调涂甚妙。
龙胆丸 治小儿五疳潮热，面色痿黄，乳食迟化，日渐羸瘠虚弱。
龙胆 芦荟 肉豆蔻（煨） 黄连 木香 神曲 麦 （炒、各等分）
亦可加槟榔、使君子。
上末，面糊丸如黍米大，三、二十丸，温米饮送下。有热加胡黄连、柴胡、辰砂，去木香、芦荟、肉豆蔻。一方用
龙胆、黄连、青皮、使君子等分末，猪胆丸。
疳积丸 治诸疳有虫。
百草霜（炒） 雷丸 芜荑（各三钱） 巴豆（去壳、一两、净去心膜、不去油）
上为末，甑上饭丸，如粟米大。一方黄丹衣，每服一丸，空腹米饮下。一方青黛衣，每服一丸，空心米饮下。
治嗽含膏丸
葶苈（炒、微焦） 知母 贝母（各一两、为末、二味同巴豆七粒炒、去巴豆不用）
上先将葶苈子捣成膏，次入二味，以枣肉半两 捣匀，入砂糖丸如芡实大，每一丸绵裹咽津，甚者三丸。
画眉膏
山栀（十五个、炒、存性） 雌黄 辰砂 轻粉（各少许）
上另为末，和匀香油调成膏、伺儿睡着时、画上眉间，便不思乳。十分难断者，不过再敷，即不思乳矣。
治小儿乳嗽
杏仁 桑白皮 桃核肉 半夏 甘草（各等分）
上生姜薄荷同煎。此方鲁仲德抄吴氏方。
大连翘饮 见第三问，此多羌活一味。
化风丹
荆芥 黄芩 防风 羌活 独活 天麻 胆南星 川芎（各等分） 辰砂 甘草（俱减半）
上末，蜜丸如芡实大，每服一丸，薄荷汤化下。一方加白附子、全蝎、僵蚕三味。
玄参剂
芍药 玄参 升麻 地黄 甘草 黄芩 龙脑叶 山栀 连翘（各等分）
上末蜜丸，辰砂为衣，丸如芡实大，每服一丸，薄荷汤送下。
红绵散 合有甘草。
全蝎 天麻 苏木 麻黄 荆芥 朱砂 僵蚕 南星 干葛 胭脂 热加防风。
上各等分，绵包，生姜、薄荷煎服。
天麻丸 治乳嗽。
天麻 辰砂 防风 胆星（各一钱） 天竺黄 白附子（煨） 坯 雄黄 蝉蜕 僵蚕（各五分） 川芎 硼砂（各
七分半）
上为末，蜜丸金箔衣，加牛黄、片脑，丸如芡实大，每服一丸，薄荷汤化下。
常用药方歌括
败毒羌柴独活前，芎苓参桔及甘煎，疹加风荷并蝉蜕，腰痛桃仁任意添。
五积六苍三桔梗，两半麻陈枳壳并，一两朴姜三分夏，归芍芷桂及甘苓。姜煎加入柴艽贝，参术同成轻骨名。
调中芩葛 甘苓，芍梗仍兼白术平，壮热恶风并入利，或时脉数此为灵。
参苏苓夏葛前三，枳梗陈甘梅二参，姜枣煎来随意服，大能发散更消痰。去却参梅芎用四，前柴互换亦相堪。名香
苏散。
平胃甘三陈朴膏，入苍姜枣或盐调。不换金须加藿夏。养胃参苓果莫饶。
消风百解芷陈荆，苍术麻甘姜便成。
金沸麻前各用三，芍甘夏一四荆参。或除麻葛换辛茯，同治伤风嗽有痰。
栀子仁知芍大青，四芎高杏及苓升，入煎柴六甘须二，阳毒伤寒姜豉成。
解肌甘一芍芩二，桂一甘三葛四煎，壮热恶风身体痛，脉浮无汗此为先。
香苏四分陈皮二，甘一或加芎芷煎，更入麻黄升芍药，千神只要葛多添。
柴胡石膏须用四，葛芍柴胡元不异，升二苓桑荆芥三，姜豉同煎古贤置。
萎茹三分高须四，葛二征羌和杏芎，甘与青梅同葛数，水煎对症有神功。
缩脾砂果梅甘二，豆葛只消一分参，水煎代饮方极妙，暑伤还取症来看。
小续命汤
术参芎药同防己，麻桂甘苓二分童，防一风三姜枣煮，刚柔二 并能攻。扁方不用白术、用杏仁。
八解胃君四，同去苍加藿。
五苓猪茯术皆三，泻五还将桂二参。
干葛二芎余并一，参术苓梅甘藿参，此是小方白术散，渴兼吐利变风痫。
薄荷四芍羌蝎麻，甘蚕一分亦同加，竹叶白附还须二，薄荷汤调惊热差，或去蝎蛋天竹附，柴苓芎梗代尤佳。
红绵散
麻蚕芎芷麻二，苏木甘全蝎一荆，绵煎对症明加减，愈却伤风咳嗽惊。
大连翘汤
连翘荆芥通车芍，归活风柴蝉共甘，等分栀苓还减半，煎须柴草正相堪。
知母甘葛汤
知母三钱干葛八，六高麻四五葳蕤，甘苓风活星皆二，梅杏升参芎不殊。
排风三味先为主，独活麻苓三分同，杏术当归甘桂芍，藓皮二分共防风，姜钱作使煎来服，五脏风伤尽解攻。
木香流气念三般，十六陈皮夏独单，通四若加槟果藿，丁皮梅桂腹蓬三，朴苏甘附青皮八，余药皆同二分参，苓术
麦瓜菖与芷，枣姜作使药方完。滑利米煎葱解表，妇人艾醋血症安，一方去藿沉香代，枳换菖蒲必炒干。增入大黄能治
体，总应念四请详看。
治眼方
栀子 黄柏 黄连 黄芩
上四味捣为细末，贴在碗底上，用艾火熏之，取起，稍加水，用纸盖水上，取清水点眼内立效。
治心痛方
白乌鸡粪（五钱、晒干研细、罗成面） 松粉（五钱、研细）
上用葱根汁，将前二味合匀，为丸如桐子大，黄丹为衣，每服五丸，温醋送下，忌腥冷硬物等件，三、四日立效。
备急经验方 治破伤风，极有神效。
余昔闻本县大尹张公曾言；吾有一妙方，专治破伤风，单只一味，极有神效。用人家粪内蛴螬虫一个，烂草房上亦
有之，将他脊背用手捏住，俟他口中吐水，就擦抹在疮口上，觉麻身上汗出，无有不活者。及今余家第四子，
忽于额上跌破一处，七日成风，急寻此虫治之，时间汗出就好，余有感于此，不敢隐昧，恐捐阴 ，就刊此传之。将虫
用过还埋粪内。
治搭背疮极有神效
用生蜂蜜和生面为饼，贴于疮上，待饼干、再换三、五次即愈，疮有口者，将面饼亦口上贴之。
治小儿痘疔，极有神效
珍珠（生为细末） 豌豆（烧为灰、细末） 头发（烧灰细末） 湿胭脂（生用）
上量疔疮多少，加减为用。将四味和为一处；先用簪尖拨疔口，次将此药贴入疔内，实时大小疮皆变为红白色，而
无有不活者。大凡人家小儿出痘疮，若灰黑顶者，十八、九死，为乡人者，不识内有痘疔，又不晓治法故也。余昔日曾
访问诸多良医，皆言痘疮未出全者，有药可表，及疮出后有灰黑色塌顶者，皆无方可治之，今要认出黑色内有疮大者为
疔，或疮内有疔线者为疔，又有疮内臭气者为疔，亦有数等，若根据此方治之，立有神效，此方治好多人，傥有好事君子，
传写四方，贴于街市而共治之，则福庆延长，子孙保安矣。
又方 治小儿出痘
穿山甲锉细，用蚌粉入铫内，炒令黑色存性，研细，入麝少许。每半钱一钱，温酒调服，其效如神，虽遍身黑而欲
绝，亦能苏省而发红色。
治小儿疮疹不透，陷伏危困者
人牙齿三、五个，炙令黄为末，乳香汤送下。烧过为末，温酒调下亦可。服后片时，其便发透。
治痘疮后眼方
羌活 防风 川芎（各二钱半） 甘草（二钱） 木贼 绿豆壳 荆芥（各三钱） 蝉蜕（二钱） 谷精草（二钱）
蛇蜕 鸡子壳薄皮（各一钱）
上为末，清茶调下，日三服，一应障翳皆可磨退。
治小儿夜啼
灯花（七个） 硼砂（二分五厘） 朱砂（少许）
上研极细末，蜜调成膏，候小儿困时，以少许抹口唇上。
升麻、赤茯苓、黄芩、羌活、人参、枳壳（炒制）、桔梗、甘草（各半两）。
以上药物切碎成散剂，每次取二钱，加入少许紫草、一片薄荷叶煎煮，温服。
如圣麦门冬汤：治疗小儿疮疹，毒气上攻咽喉口舌生疮，无法吮吸乳汁。
桔梗、牛蒡子（炒制）、麦门冬（去心）、甘草（各半两）。
以上药物切碎成散剂，每次服用二钱，用淡竹叶煎汤送服。《活人书》记载：将药研为细末，每次服用两匙，用沸水调匀，细细呷入口中含咽。
太和散：治疗小儿疮疹，以及伤寒时行疫病，病后余邪未解导致发热。
生地黄、当归、人参、地骨皮、赤芍药、甘草（各等分）。
以上药物切碎成散剂，每次取二钱，用清水煎服。
去除疮疹瘢痕的方子：
密陀僧。
以上药物研为细末，用水调匀涂抹，效果极佳。
龙胆丸：治疗小儿五疳潮热，面色萎黄，乳食消化迟缓，日渐消瘦虚弱。
龙胆、芦荟、肉豆蔻（煨制）、黄连、木香、神曲、麦芽（炒制，各等分）。
也可以加入槟榔、使君子。
以上药物研为细末，用面糊制成如黍米大小的丸剂，每次服用三二十丸，用温米饮送下。若有热象，加胡黄连、柴胡、辰砂；去掉木香、芦荟、肉豆蔻。另一处方使用龙胆、黄连、青皮、使君子等分研末，用猪胆汁制丸。
疳积丸：治疗各种疳证伴有虫积。
百草霜（炒制）、雷丸、芜荑（各三钱）、巴豆（去壳、一两、净去心膜、不去油）。
以上药物研为细末，在蒸笼上的米饭中搓丸，如粟米大小。另一处方用黄丹包衣，每次服用一丸，空腹用米饮送下。另一处方用青黛包衣，每次服用一丸，空腹用米饮送下。
治咳嗽含化膏丸：
葶苈子（炒至微焦）、知母、贝母（各一两，研为细末，这两味药与巴豆七粒同炒，炒后去掉巴豆不用）。
先将葶苈子捣成膏状，再放入另外两味药，加入半两枣肉捣匀，加入砂糖制成如芡实大小的丸剂，每一丸用绵包裹含咽津液，重症者服用三丸。
画眉膏：
山栀（十五个，炒至存性）、雌黄、辰砂、轻粉（各少许）。
以上药物分别研为细末，混合均匀，用香油调成膏状，待小儿睡着时，画在其眉心处，小儿便不再想吃奶。极难断奶者，不过再敷一次，就不想吃奶了。
治疗小儿乳嗽：
杏仁、桑白皮、桃核肉、半夏、甘草（各等分）。
以上药物加生姜、薄荷同煎。此方是鲁仲德抄录吴氏的方子。
化风丹：
荆芥、黄芩、防风、羌活、独活、天麻、胆南星、川芎（各等分），辰砂、甘草（均减半量）。
以上药物研为细末，蜂蜜制丸如芡实大小，每次服用一丸，用薄荷汤化开送服。另一处方加入白附子、全蝎、僵蚕三味药。
玄参剂：
芍药、玄参、升麻、地黄、甘草、黄芩、龙脑叶、山栀、连翘（各等分）。
以上药物研为细末，蜂蜜制丸，辰砂为衣，丸如芡实大小，每次服用一丸，用薄荷汤送服。
红绵散：含有甘草。
全蝎、天麻、苏木、麻黄、荆芥、朱砂、僵蚕、南星、干葛、胭脂，热盛加防风。
以上药物各等分，用绵包裹，加生姜、薄荷煎服。
天麻丸：治疗乳嗽。
天麻、辰砂、防风、胆星（各一钱），天竺黄、白附子（煨制）、坯（此处疑为笔误或特定药材，原文如此）、雄黄、蝉蜕、僵蚕（各五分），川芎、硼砂（各七分半）。
以上药物研为细末，蜂蜜制丸，金箔为衣，加入牛黄、片脑，丸如芡实大小，每次服用一丸，用薄荷汤化开送服。
常用药方歌括：
败毒散用羌活、柴胡、独活、前胡，川芎、茯苓、人参、桔梗及甘草煎煮，出疹加防风、荷梗并蝉蜕，腰痛随意添加桃仁。
五积散用苍术、桔梗，麻黄、陈皮、枳壳各半两，厚朴、生姜各一两，半夏三分，当归、芍药、白芷、桂枝及甘草、茯苓。姜煎加入柴胡、秦艽、贝母，人参、白术同用名为轻骨汤。
调中汤用黄芩、葛根、甘草、茯苓，芍药、桔梗仍兼白术平和，壮热恶风并入利小便之品，若脉数此为灵验。
参苏饮用人参、苏叶、茯苓、半夏、葛根前三味，枳壳、桔梗、陈皮、甘草、乌梅、二参（人参、丹参或指代其他参类，依古义多为党参或人参复用，此处保留原意），姜枣煎来随意服用，大能发散更消痰。去掉人参、乌梅、川芎用四味，前胡、柴胡互换也相宜。名为香苏散。
平胃散用甘草三钱、陈皮、厚朴、甘草（注：原文“甘三”可能指甘草用量或重复，通常平胃散为苍术、厚朴、陈皮、甘草），入苍术、生姜、大枣或用盐调。不换金正气散须加藿香、半夏。养胃汤用人参、茯苓、果莫饶（意指不可省略某些补益药）。
消风百解散用白芷、陈皮、荆芥，苍术、麻黄、甘草、生姜便成。
金沸草散用麻黄、前胡各三钱，芍药、甘草、半夏一钱、四荆芥、人参。或者除去麻黄、葛根换辛夷、茯苓，同治伤风咳嗽有痰。
栀子仁、知母、芍药、大青，四物、川芎、高丽参、杏仁及茯苓、升麻，入煎剂柴胡六钱、甘草须二钱，阳毒伤寒加生姜、豆豉成方。
解肌汤用甘草一钱、芍药、黄芩二钱，桂枝一钱、甘草三钱、葛根四钱煎煮，壮热恶风身体痛，脉浮无汗以此为先。
香苏散用四分陈皮二钱，甘草一钱或加川芎、白芷煎煮，更入麻黄、升麻、芍药，千神散只要葛根多加。
柴胡石膏须用四两，葛根、芍药、柴胡原本无异，升麻二两、茯苓、桑白皮、荆芥三两，生姜、豆豉同煎古贤置方。

八解汤用胃君（指甘草或主药）四两，同去苍术加藿香。
五苓散用猪苓、茯苓、白术皆三钱，泻利五钱还将桂枝二钱、人参。
干葛二钱、川芎其余并一钱，人参、白术、茯苓、乌梅、甘草、藿香，此是小方白术散，渴兼吐利变风痫。
薄荷四钱、芍药、羌活、全蝎、麻黄，甘草、僵蚕一分亦同加，竹叶、白附还须二钱，薄荷汤调惊热差，或者去掉全蝎、蛋（疑为蛇蜕或类似物）、天竺黄、白附子，柴胡、茯苓、川芎、桔梗代替尤佳。
红绵散：麻黄、僵蚕、川芎、白芷麻黄二钱，苏木、甘草、全蝎一钱、荆芥，绵包煎对症明加减，愈却伤风咳嗽惊。
大连翘汤：连翘、荆芥、车前子、芍药，当归、羌活、防风、柴胡、蝉蜕共甘草，等分栀子、茯苓还减半，煎须柴胡、甘草正相堪。
知母甘葛汤：知母三钱、干葛八钱，六钱高丽参、麻黄四五钱、葳蕤，甘草、茯苓、防风、羌活、胆星皆二钱，乌梅、杏仁、升麻、人参、川芎不殊。

Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae), Chifuling (Poria with Red Core), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Zhike (Aurantii Fructus, stir-fried), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each half liang).
The above herbs are cut into pieces to make a powder. Take two qian per dose, add a small amount of Zicao (Arnebiae Radix et Rhizoma) and one leaf of Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba), decoct in water, and take warm.
Rusheng Maidong Tang (Like-Sage Ophiopogon Decoction): Treats pediatric exanthematous diseases where toxic heat attacks upward, causing sores in the throat, mouth, and tongue, preventing the infant from suckling milk.
Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), Niupangzi (Arctii Fructus, stir-fried), Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix, heart removed), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each half liang).
The above herbs are cut into pieces to make a powder. Take two qian per dose, decoct with Danzhuyeh (Lophatheri Herba) and take. The *Huoren Shu* records: grind into fine powder, take two spoons per dose, mix with boiling water, sip slowly, and hold in the mouth before swallowing.
Taihe San (Harmony Powder): Treats pediatric exanthematous diseases, as well as cold damage and seasonal epidemics, where residual pathogens remain unresolved after illness, causing fever.
Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Digupi (Corni Cortex), Chi Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (equal parts).
The above herbs are cut into pieces to make a powder. Take two qian per dose, decoct in plain water and take.
Formula for Removing Exanthema Scars:
Mituo seng (Lithargyrum).
Grind the above herb into a fine powder, mix with water, apply topically; it is very effective.
Longdan Wan (Gentian Pill): Treats pediatric "five kinds of malnutrition" (Wu Gan) with tidal fever, sallow complexion, delayed digestion of milk and food, and progressive emaciation and weakness.
Longdan (Gentianae Radix), Lvhui (Aloe), Roudoukou (Myristicae Semen, baked), Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Shenqu (Massa Medicata Fermentata), Mairen (Hordei Fructus, stir-fried) (equal parts).
Binglang (Arecae Semen) and Shijunzi (Quisqualis Fructus) may also be added.
Grind the above herbs into powder, use wheat paste to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 30-20 pills per dose, send down with warm rice drink. If there is heat, add Huhuanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma variant or similar), Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix), and Chen sha (Cinnabar); remove Muxiang, Lvhui, and Roudoukou. Another prescription uses Longdan, Huanglian, Qingpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), and Shijunzi in equal parts, ground into powder and formed into pills using pig bile.
Ganji Wan (Malnutrition Accumulation Pill): Treats various types of Gan syndrome accompanied by intestinal parasites.
Baicaoshuang (Fuligo Silicea, stir-fried), Leiwan (Polyporus Umbellatus), Wuyi (Chrysanthemi Indici Flos, stir-fried) (each three qian), Badou (Crotonis Fructus, shell removed, one liang, cleaned of inner membrane but oil retained).
Grind the above herbs into powder, roll into pills the size of millet grains over a steamer's rice vapor. Another prescription coats them with Huangdan (Lead Tetroxide), take one pill per dose, swallow with rice drink on an empty stomach. Another prescription coats them with Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), take one pill per dose, swallow with rice drink on an empty stomach.
Gao Wan for Treating Cough (To Be Held and Swallowed):
Tingli (Semen Lepidii seu Descurainiae, stir-fried until slightly scorched), Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), Beimu (Fritillariae Bulbus) (each one liang, ground into powder; these two herbs are stir-fried together with seven Badou seeds, then the Badou is discarded and not used).
First, pound the Tingli seeds into a paste. Then add the other two herbs, mix with half a liang of jujube flesh pounded evenly, add rock sugar, and form pills the size of a Chinese bayberry (Qianshi). Wrap each pill in cotton wool, hold in the mouth to swallow saliva. For severe cases, take three pills.
Huamei Gao (Eyebrow Painting Ointment):
Shanzhi (Gardeniae Fructus, fifteen fruits, stir-fried until carbonized but retaining nature), Cihuang (Orpiment), Chen sha (Cinnabar), Qingfen (Calomelas) (each a small amount).
Grind the above herbs separately into fine powder, mix evenly, and blend with sesame oil to form an ointment. When the child falls asleep, draw it on the glabella (between the eyebrows); the child will then lose the desire to suckle. For extremely difficult weaning cases, applying it once more will suffice to stop the desire to suckle.
Treating Pediatric Milk Cough:
Xingren (Pruni Semen), Sangbaipi (Mori Cortex), Taoherou (Persicae Semen endocarp), Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (equal parts).
Decoct together with Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) and Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba). This formula was copied by Lu Zhende from Wu's formula.
Dalianqiao Yin (Large Forsythia Decoction): See Question 3; this formula adds one additional ingredient, Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix).
Hua Feng Dan (Wind-Dissolving Pill):
Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Qianghuo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), Tianma (Gastrodiae Rhizoma), Dannanxing (Arisaematis Cum Bile), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) (equal parts), Chen sha (Cinnabar), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (both halved).
Grind the above herbs into powder, form pills with honey the size of a Chinese bayberry. Take one pill per dose, dissolve and take with Bohe tang (Mint Decoction). Another prescription adds Baifuzi (Typhonii Rhizoma), Quanxie (Scorpio), and Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus).
Xuanshen Ji (Scrophularia Preparation):
Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix), Xuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix), Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae), Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Longnaoye (Borneolum Syntheticum Leaf?), Shanzhi (Gardeniae Fructus), Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus) (equal parts).
Grind into powder, form pills with honey, coat with Chen sha (Cinnabar), size of a Chinese bayberry. Take one pill per dose, send down with Bohe tang (Mint Decoction).
Hongmian San (Red Cotton Powder): Contains Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma).
Quanxie (Scorpio), Tianma (Gastrodiae Rhizoma), Sumu (Sappan Lignum), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba), Jingjie (Schizonepetae Herba), Zhusha (Cinnabar), Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus), Nanxing (Arisaematis Rhizoma), Gan Ge (Puerariae Lobatae Radix), Yanzhi (Vermilion), add Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) if heat is prominent.
All ingredients in equal parts, wrapped in cotton, decoct with Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) and Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba) and take.
Tianma Wan (Gastrodia Pill): Treats milk cough.
Tianma (Gastrodiae Rhizoma), Chen sha (Cinnabar), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Dan Xing (Arisaematis Cum Bile) (each one qian), Tianzhu Huang (Bambusae Calamus Resina), Baifuzi (Typhonii Rhizoma, baked), Pi (Note: Text says 'Pi', likely a typo or specific local term, kept as is), Xionghuang (Realgar), Chan tui (Bombyx Cicadae Periostracum), Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus) (each five fen), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Pengsha (Borax) (each seven and a half fen).

Commonly Used Formula Songs:
Baidu San uses Qianghuo, Chaihu, Duhuo, Qianhu; Xiong, Ling, Renshen, Jiegeng, and Gancao decocted. Add Fenghe (Wind Lotus Stem) and Chantui for rash; add Taoren freely for lower back pain.
Wuji San uses Cangzhu, Jiegeng; Mahuang, Chenpi, Zhike each half liang; Houpo, Shengjiang each one liang; Banxia three fen; Guizhi, Shaoyao, Baizhi, Gancao, and Ganling. Add Chaihu, Qiangjiao, Beimu to ginger decoction; Renshen and Baizhu together form Qinggu Ming.
Tiao Zhong Tang uses Huangqin, Gegen, Gancao, Ganling; Shaoyao and Jiegeng combined with Baizhu for balance. For high fever and aversion to wind, combine with purgatives; if pulse is rapid, this is effective.
Shen Su Yin uses Renshen, Suye, Fuling, Banxia, Gegen (first three); Zhike, Jiegeng, Chenpi, Gancao, Wumei, and Ershen. Decoct with Jiang and Zao, take as desired; greatly disperses and resolves phlegm. Remove Renshen, Wumei, Xiong, use four; swap Qianhu and Chaihu, equally suitable. Named Xiangsu San.
Pingwei San uses Gancao three, Chenpi, Houpo, Gancao (repeated in text, likely Cangzhu implied or error); add Cangzhu, Jiang, Zao or salt. Huan Jin Jin requires Huoxiang and Banxia. Yangwei Tang uses Renshen, Ling, fruit should not be spared.
Xiao Feng Baijie San uses Baizhi, Chenpi, Jingjie, Cangzhu, Mahuang, Gancao, Jiang.
Jinfei San uses Mahuang, Qianhu each three; Shaoyao, Gancao, Banxia one, Si Jingjie, Renshen. Or remove Mahuang, Gegen, replace with Xinyi, Fuling; treats wind-cold cough with phlegm.
Zhizi Ren, Zhimu, Shaoyao, Daqing, Siwu, Chuanxiong, Gaoshen, Xingren, Ling, Shengma. Add Chaihu six, Gancao two for decoction; Yangdu Shanghan adds Jiang and Chishao.
Jieji Tang uses Gancao one, Shaoyao, Huangqin two; Guizhi one, Gancao three, Gegen four decocted. For high fever, aversion to wind, body pain, floating pulse without sweat, this is primary.
Xiangsu San uses four fen Chenpi two; Gancao one or add Xiong, Baizhi decocted. Add Mahuang, Shengma, Shaoyao; Qianshen San adds more Gegen.
Chaihu and Shigao must use four; Gegen, Shaoyao, Chaihu originally identical; Shengma two, Ling, Sangbai pi, Jingjie three; Jiang and Chishao decocted, placed by ancient sages.
Weiru three, Gaoshen four; Gegen two, Zheng Qiang (Qianghuo) mixed with Xing, Xiong; Gancao and Qingmei same amount as Gegen, water decocted,对症 has divine effect.
Suopi Yin uses Sharen, Guomei, Gancao two; Dougen only needs one fen Renshen; water decocted as drink is excellent; summer injury depends on symptoms.
Xiao Xuming Tang: Baizhu, Renshen, Chuanxiong, Fangji, Mahuang, Guizhi, Gancao, Lingfen Tongbian; Fangji one, Fengsan, Jiang Zao boil; Gangrou both can attack. Bianque's formula does not use Baizhu, uses Xingren.
Bajie Tang uses Weijun four, remove Cangzhu add Huoxiang.
Wuling San uses Zhu Ling, Fuling, Baizhu all three; Xie five, return Guizhi two, Renshen.
Gegen two, Xiong rest one; Renshen, Baizhu, Ling, Meigan, Huoxiang Renshen; this is Xiaofang Baizhu San, thirst with vomiting/diarrhea changes to wind epilepsy.
Bohe four, Shaoyao, Qiang, Xie, Mahuang; Gan, Can one fen also added; Zhuye, Baifu still need two; Bohe tang adjusts convulsive fever better, or remove Xie, Dan, Tianzhu, Baifu, Chai, Ling, Xiong, Jiegeng substitute is better.
Hongmian San: Mahuang, Can, Xiong, Baizhi Mahuang two; Sumu, Gan, Quanxie one, Jing; Cotton decoct, adjust according to symptoms, cures wind-cold cough and convulsions.
Da Lianqiao Tang: Lianqiao, Jingjie, Cheqian, Shaoyao; Gui, Huo, Feng, Chai, Chan Gong Gan; Equal parts Zhizi, Ling still halved; decoct must have Chai, Gan just right.
Zhimu Gan Ge Tang: Zhimu three qian, Gan Ge eight; Liu Gao, Mahuang four-five, Weirui; Gan, Ling, Feng, Huo, Xing all two; Mei, Xing, Sheng, Renshen, Xiong no difference.
Paifeng San three flavors first main; Duhuo, Mahuang, Ling three fen together; Xing, Baizhu, Danggui, Gan, Guizhi, Shaoyao; Xianpi two fen together with Fangfeng; Jiang coin as envoy decoct to take, five zang wind injuries all resolved.
Muxiang Liqi Yin thirty-three parts; sixteen Chenpi, Banxia alone; Tongcao four if add Bing, Guo, Huo; Ding, Pi, Mei, Gui, Fu, Peng three; Houpo, Su, Gan, Fu, Qingpi eight; rest drugs all same two fen Renshen; Ling, Baizhu, Maidong, Gua, Chang, Yu, Zao, Jiang as envoy drug complete. Slippery rice decoct scallion release exterior, women Ai vinegar blood stasis safe, one formula remove Huo, Chenxiang replace, Zhi replace Changpu must stir-fry dry. Add Dahuang can treat body, total should read twenty-four please look carefully.
Eye Treatment Formula:
Zhizi, Huangbai, Huanglian, Huangqin.
Grind the above four herbs into fine powder, stick to the bottom of a bowl, smoke with moxa fire, take up, add a little water, cover with paper over water, take clear water to drop into eyes for immediate effect.
Heart Pain Treatment Formula:
Bai Wuji Fen (White black chicken manure, five qian, sun-dried, ground fine, sifted into flour), Songfen (Five qian, ground fine).
Use Conggen juice, mix the above two ingredients evenly, form pills the size of paulownia seeds, coat with Huangdan, take five pills per dose, send down with warm vinegar. Avoid fishy, cold, hard foods etc., effective in three to four days.
Beiji Jingyan Fang (Emergency Experience Formula) for treating Tetanus (Po Shang Feng), extremely effective.
I previously heard Magistrate Zhang of my county say: I have a wonderful formula, specifically for tetanus, consisting of only one ingredient, extremely effective. Use one larva of the click beetle (Qicao) from human feces, also found on rotten thatched roofs. Hold its back with your hand, wait for it to spit water from its mouth, then rub it onto the wound. Feeling numbness and sweating on the body, none will not survive. Now my fourth son suddenly had a broken spot on his forehead, developed tetanus in seven days. Urgently sought this larva to treat it, sweat came out immediately and he recovered. Moved by this, I dare not hide it, fearing loss of merit, so I print this to spread it. Bury the used larva back in the feces.
Extremely Effective for Treating Carbuncles on the Back (Da Bei Chuang):
Use raw honey and raw flour to make a cake, apply to the sore. When the cake dries, change it three to five times, then it heals. If the sore has an opening, also apply the flour cake to the opening.
Extremely Effective for Treating Pediatric Smallpox/Chickenpox Boils (Dou Ding):
Zhenzhu (Pearl, ground fine raw), Wandou (Peas, burned to ash, ground fine), Toufa (Hair, burned to ash, ground fine), Shi Yanzhi (Wet Vermilion, used raw).
Above, according to the number of boils, adjust usage. Mix the four ingredients together; first use the tip of a hairpin to open the boil, then apply this medicine into the boil. Immediately, large and small boils will turn red and white, and none will not survive. Generally, when children get smallpox/chickenpox, if the top is gray-black, eighteen or nineteen die. Villagers do not recognize the internal "ding" (boil/toxin) and do not know the treatment method. I previously visited many good doctors, all said that if smallpox/chickenpox is not fully erupted, there is medicine to vent it; but if after eruption the top collapses gray-black, there is no formula to treat it. Now, identify the large black lesion inside as "ding", or if there is a line inside the sore as "ding", or if there is a foul smell inside as "ding". There are several types. If treated according to this formula, it is immediately effective. This formula has cured many people. If any benevolent gentleman copies and distributes it, pasting it in streets for joint treatment, then blessings will extend long, and descendants will be secure.
Another Formula for Treating Pediatric Smallpox/Chickenpox:
Chanshanjia (Pangolin Scale) filed fine, use Bangfen (Clam Powder) in a pot, stir-fry until black but retain nature, grind fine, add a little Shexiang (Musk). Take half to one qian, mix with warm wine and take. Its effect is like magic; even if the whole body is black and near death, it can revive and turn red.
For Treating Pediatric Exanthema Not Erupting, Sunken and Critical:
Human teeth three to five, roast until yellow, grind into powder, send down with Rushang tang (Frankincense Decoction). Roasted and ground into powder, mixed with warm wine and taken is also acceptable. After taking, within a short time, it will erupt.
Eye Formula After Smallpox/Chickenpox:
Qianghuo, Fangfeng, Chuanxiong (each two and a half qian), Gancao (two qian), Muzei (Equiseti Herba), Lvdouke (Mung Bean Shell), Jingjie (each three qian), Chantui (two qian), Gujingcao (Euphrasiae Herba) (two qian), Shetui (Snake Slough), Jiziqiao Bopi (Thin skin of chicken eggshell) (each one qian).
Grind into powder, take mixed with clear tea, three times a day. All visual obstructions can be ground away.
Treating Pediatric Night Crying:
Denghua (Lamp wick flower/bud, seven), Pengsha (Borax, two fen five li), Zhusha (Cinnabar, a small amount).
Grind into extremely fine powder, mix with honey to form a paste. When the child is sleepy, apply a small amount to the lips.
