上作二剂。用酒三碗。煎至二碗。分三次饮之。更以渣敷于患处。一切痈疽肿毒便毒皆
乳房是足阳明胃经所经过的部位。乳头归属于足厥阴肝经。哺乳期的母亲，如果不懂得调养身体，因愤怒导致气机逆乱，因郁闷导致气机郁结，加上食用浓腻厚味的食物酿生湿热，从而导致厥阴肝经的气血运行不畅。因此乳窍不通，乳汁无法排出。同时，阳明胃经的血热亢盛，所以发热严重并化脓。也有因为婴儿膈间有停滞的痰饮，口中热气较重，含着乳头睡觉时，将热气吹入乳络，从而形成结核（肿块）。在初起阶段就必须忍受疼痛，揉按使局部稍软，吮吸使乳汁自然通畅，这样是可以消散的。如果错过这个时机不治疗，必定会发展成痈疖。治疗方法：用青皮疏解厥阴肝经的郁滞；将石膏细细研磨以清泄阳明胃经的热邪；用生甘草节行散污浊之血；用栝蒌子清热消肿、引导毒邪外出。或者加入没药、青橘叶、皂角刺、金银花、当归等药物。可以制成汤剂或散剂，根据病情加减，灵活掌握剂量。但是必须少量佐以酒送服。如果在肿胀处施灸两三壮艾火，效果尤其迅速快捷。不可轻易使用针刀切开，否则必然导致危险困顿。也有的因为忧愁郁闷，日积月累，损伤脾气，导致肝气横逆，于是形成隐核，大小如棋子，不痛不痒。几年之后，才会溃烂成疮，凹陷下去，名叫“乳岩”。因为疮形崎岖不平像岩穴一样。这种病已经不可治愈了。如果在刚开始生长的时候，就能消除病根，使心境清明、神志安宁，然后再施用治疗方法，还有可以安愈的道理。
有一种论述认为，有孩子的妇女患此病，名叫“外吹乳”；怀孕的妇女患此病，名叫“内吹乳”。这两种情况都可以急切治疗，适宜服用立效散。由白芷、贝母各等分研为末。每次服用二钱，用好酒调服。如果没有乳汁下行，加入漏芦，用酒煎煮调服。
另一种论述针对妇人乳房肿胀疼痛，快要形成痈毒的情况，适宜服用神效栝蒌散。方药组成：大栝蒌一个（选用黄熟者，连皮、子、瓤一起用重重纸张包裹，在火上煨烤后捣烂，每剂用半个）；白芷一钱五分；玄参二钱；升麻五分；归尾二钱；桔梗一钱；连翘二钱；柴胡一钱；青皮一钱；天花粉一钱五分；穿山甲（炒制）一钱；川芎八分；知母一钱；木通一钱；木鳖子两个；元胡索二分。以上药材锉碎为一剂，用水煎煮，温服。
一种治疗妇人患吹乳肿痛，尚未成脓的方法：用一个生半夏研为末，取葱白半寸，捣和做成丸药，用棉布包裹塞入鼻孔，一夜即可痊愈。左乳患病塞右鼻，右乳患病塞左鼻，效果神奇。
一种外敷治疗吹乳的方子：取一大把葱，捣烂做成饼状，厚厚地敷在乳房上。将瓦罐装满灰火，压在葱饼上蒸，使患处出汗，即可消肿止痛，非常奇妙。或者将紫苏煎汤频繁服用。
一种治疗吹乳的方法：取韭菜地里的蚯蚓粪研成细末，用醋调和，厚厚地敷在患处，干了就再换，三次即可痊愈。
一种治疗吹乳的方法：用益元散五钱，用淡豆豉、葱白煎成的汤调服，频繁服用即可痊愈。
一种治疗五十岁以外妇人的方法，其乳痈初愈后又破溃，不能收口愈合的，适宜服用冲脉饮子。方药组成：黄芪（每一两配桂枝一钱，煎汤后将碗放在饭上蒸熟，每剂用一钱）；人参一钱五分；白术一钱；生地黄（酒浸）一钱；茯苓一钱；当归身二钱；白芍（酒炒）一钱；川芎一钱；柴胡五分；青皮五分；宣木瓜四分；皂角子二钱；甘草二分。以上药材锉碎为一剂，用水煎煮，频繁服用。如果大便不通润，加炒火麻仁二钱、酒炒黄连二钱。
一种论述内外吹乳及乳痈肿痛，无论已成脓或未成脓，服用后立刻痊愈的方法：将牙皂烧过保留药性，与蛤粉炒至等分，研为末。每次用好头酒调服，以喝醉为限度，热服令其出汗，立刻痊愈。外用巴豆三个烧至保留药性，用香油调匀敷在痈头上，上面再用膏药贴住。四周用铁箍散：白芨、白蔹、白芷梢、赤芍梢，研为末，用蜂蜜调和敷在疮口四周，立刻痊愈。
一种治疗内外吹乳及溃烂流脓，服用后立刻见效的方法：黄芪、人参、当归、川芎、白芷、木通、连翘、漏芦、天花粉、青皮、橘蕊、防风、白芍、贝母、栝蒌、乳香、甘草、穿山甲、皂角刺。用水煎煮，饭后临睡前服用。
一种治疗乳劳、乳痈，已成脓化为水液，未成脓也能消散的治乳方子，方法很多，唯独这个神效。对于瘰疬、疮毒，效果也神效。即神效栝蒌散：栝蒌（大的两个，捣碎）、当归（酒洗）、甘草（各五钱）、乳香（另研）、没药（另研，各一钱）。以上做成两剂，用酒三碗，煎至两碗，分三次饮用。再将药渣敷在患处。一切痈疽肿毒、便毒都有效。
The breast is the pathway of the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian. The nipple belongs to the Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian. Nursing mothers who do not know how to regulate their lifestyle may experience qi rebellion due to anger, qi stagnation due to depression, and damp-heat accumulation from consuming rich and greasy foods. This leads to impaired circulation of Qi in the Jueyin Liver Meridian, causing the mammary orifices to be blocked and milk unable to discharge. Simultaneously, blood heat in the Yangming Stomach Meridian becomes excessive, leading to severe fever and suppuration. Another cause is when an infant has phlegm stagnation in the diaphragm and hot breath; sleeping while suckling allows the infant's hot breath to blow into the mammary collaterals, forming nodules. At the initial stage, one must endure pain, massage until slightly soft, and suckle to promote natural milk flow, which can resolve the condition. If treatment is delayed, it will inevitably develop into a carbuncle or furuncle. The treatment method involves using Qingpi (Cortex Aurantii) to relieve Jueyin Liver stagnation; finely grinding Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) to clear Yangming Stomach heat; using raw Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) joints to move turbid blood; and using Gualouzi (Semen Trichosanthis) to clear swelling and guide out toxins. Alternatively, add Moyao (Resina Myrrhae), Qingjuye (Folium Citri Reticulatae), Zaojiaoci (Spina Gleditsiae), Jinyinhua (Flos Lonicerae), and Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis). These can be prepared as decoctions or powders, with modifications based on the condition. Alcohol should be added in small amounts as an adjuvant. Applying two or three moxa cones directly on the swelling accelerates efficacy. Needles or knives should not be used rashly, as this may lead to critical danger. Some cases arise from chronic sorrow and depression, accumulating over time to damage Spleen Qi and cause Liver Qi to invade horizontally, forming hidden nodules the size of chess pieces, painless and non-itchy. Years later, they ulcerate and sink, named "Ru Yan" (Breast Rock/Cancer), because the wound shape resembles rocky caves. This condition is incurable. However, if at the onset, the root cause is eliminated by maintaining a clear mind and peaceful spirit, followed by treatment, recovery is possible.
One theory states that for women with infants, it is called "Wai Chui Ru" (External Blowing Breast); for pregnant women, it is called "Nei Chui Ru" (Internal Blowing Breast). Both require urgent treatment, suitable for Li Xiao San (Rapid Effect Powder). Made from Bai Zhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae) and Bei Mu (Bulbus Fritillariae Cirrhosae) in equal parts, ground into powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with good wine. If milk flow is absent, add Loulu (Radix Euphorbiae Humifusae), decocted in wine.
Another theory addresses breast swelling and pain in women, impending abscess formation, suitable for Shen Xiao Gua Lou San (Miraculous Effect Trichosanthes Powder). Ingredients: Large Gualou (Fructus Trichosanthis, yellow and ripe, including peel, seeds, and pulp, wrapped in paper and roasted, half per dose); Bai Zhi 1.5 qian; Yuan Shen (Radix Scrophulariae) 2 qian; Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae) 0.5 qian; Gui Wei (Radix Angelicae Sinensis tail) 2 qian; Jie Geng (Radix Platycodonis) 1 qian; Lian Qiao (Fructus Forsythiae) 2 qian; Chai Hu (Radix Bupleuri) 1 qian; Qingpi (Cortex Aurantii) 1 qian; Tian Hua Fen (Radix Trichosanthis) 1.5 qian; Chuanshan Jia (Squama Manis, stir-fried) 1 qian; Chuan Xiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong) 0.8 qian; Zhi Mu (Rhizoma Anemarrhenae) 1 qian; Mu Tong (Caulis Akebiae) 1 qian; Mibie Zi (Semen Momordicae) 2 seeds; Yuan Hu Suo (Rhizoma Corydalis) 0.2 qian. Decoct one dose in water and take warm.
For breast swelling and pain from blowing breast without suppuration: Use one raw Ban Xia (Rhizoma Pinelliae) ground to powder. Mix with 0.5 cun of Cong Bai (Scallion White), form pills, wrap in cotton, and insert into the nostril overnight for cure. Left breast issue -> right nostril; Right breast issue -> left nostril. Highly effective.
External application for blowing breast: Crush a large handful of Cong Bai (Scallion White) into a paste, apply thickly to the breast. Place a tile pot filled with ash fire on top to steam and induce sweating, reducing swelling and pain. Alternatively, frequently drink Zisu (Perilla Leaf) decoction.
Treatment for blowing breast: Grind earthworm feces from leek fields into fine powder, mix with vinegar, apply thickly. Replace when dry. Cures in three applications.
Treatment for blowing breast: Take Yi Yuan San (Five Elements Powder) 5 qian, administer with Dan Dou Chi (Fermented Soybean) and Cong Bai decoction. Frequent administration cures.
For women over fifty with recurrent breast abscess ulcers that fail to heal: Suitable for Chong Mai Yin Zi (Chong Mai Decoction). Ingredients: Huang Qi (Radix Astragali, 1 liang processed with 1 qian Gui Zhi, steamed, use 1 qian per dose); Ren Shen (Radix Ginseng) 1.5 qian; Bai Zhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae) 1 qian; Sheng Di Huang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, wine-soaked) 1 qian; Fu Ling (Poria) 1 qian; Dang Gui Shen (Radix Angelicae Sinensis body) 2 qian; Bai Shao (Radix Paeoniae Alba, wine-fried) 1 qian; Chuan Xiong 1 qian; Chai Hu 0.5 qian; Qingpi 0.5 qan; Xuan Mu Gua (Fructus Chaenomelis) 0.4 qian; Zao Jiao Zi (Semen Gleditsiae Sinensis) 2 qian; Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) 0.2 qian. Decoct and take frequently. For constipation, add Chao Huo Ma Ren (Semen Cannabis Preparatum) 2 qian and Jiu Chao Huang Lian (Rhizoma Coptidis, wine-fried) 2 qian.
Theory for curing internal/external blowing breast and abscesses immediately: Burn Ya Zao (Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis) to retain properties, mix with equal parts Ge Fen (Calamina) powder. Administer with strong head wine until intoxicated, keep warm to sweat. Externally, burn Ba Dou (Semen Crotonis) 3 seeds to retain properties, mix with sesame oil, apply to abscess head, cover with plaster. Surround with Tie Gu San (Iron Hoop Powder): Bai Ji (Rhizoma Bletillae), Bai Lian (Rhizoma Ampelopsis Japonicae), Bai Zhi Shao (Tip of Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Chi Shao Shao (Tip of Radix Paeoniae Rubra). Mix with honey, apply around the wound.
Formula for immediate effect on blowing breast and suppurating wounds: Huang Qi, Ren Shen, Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong, Bai Zhi, Mu Tong, Lian Qiao, Lou Lu, Tian Hua Fen, Qing Pi, Ju Rui (Tangerine Bud), Fang Feng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Bai Shao, Bei Mu, Gua Lou, Ru Xiang (Olibanum), Gan Cao, Chuan Shan Jia, Zao Jiao Ci. Decoct in water, take after meals and before bed.
Treatment for breast labor and abscesses, resolving suppuration or preventing formation, uniquely miraculous: Shen Xiao Gua Lou San (Miraculous Effect Trichosanthes Powder). Also effective for scrofula and sores. Ingredients: Gua Lou (large, crushed) 2, Dang Gui (wine-washed) 5 qian, Gan Cao 5 qian, Ru Xiang (ground separately) 1 qian, Mo Yao (ground separately) 1 qian. Make two doses. Decoct in 3 bowls of wine until 2 bowls remain. Drink in three portions. Apply dregs externally. Effective for all carbuncles, sores, and groin abscesses.
