消瘿汤
海藻（洗） 龙胆草 海蛤粉（各二两） 通草 昆布（烧存性） 枯白矾 松萝（各一两）
半夏（二两五钱） 麦曲（一两五钱） 白芷（一两）
上为末。每服五钱。酒煮。忌甘草虾鱼猪肉五辛诸毒等物。又要吞矾蜡丸。
一论治瘿瘤痈疽便毒恶疮。久漏不愈者。
经验矾蜡丸
白矾用生四两为末。黄蜡二两溶化。众手为丸如梧子大。每服三十丸。空心白汤下。

瘿瘤这种病，大多是因为气血受损而引发的。一般来说，人的气血如果循环通畅无阻滞，就不会得瘿瘤这类疾病。如果调养摄生不当，导致血液凝结在皮肉之中，就会突然肿起，形状像梅子一样，时间久了就会逐渐长大。
瘿分为五种，分别是：石瘿、肉瘿、筋瘿、血瘿、气瘿。
瘤分为六种，分别是：骨瘤、脂瘤、石瘤、肉瘤、脓瘤、血瘤。
治疗方法上，瘿和瘤都绝对不可以用针挑破。如果针破后脓液误漏出来，会危及生命。只有脂瘤可以刺破并去除其中的脂粉，这算是例外情况，但也不可轻易尝试。我将瘤和瘿的区别列在后面，医生们应当仔细辨别，这样就不会出错。
【消瘿汤】
海藻（洗净）、龙胆草、海蛤粉（各二两）、通草、昆布（烧至存性）、枯白矾、松萝（各一两）、半夏（二两五钱）、麦曲（一两五钱）、白芷（一两）。
以上药物研成细末。每次服用五钱，用酒煮服。忌食甘草、虾、鱼、猪肉以及五辛等有毒刺激性食物。同时还需要吞服矾蜡丸。

白矾（生用）四两研为细末，黄蜡二两熔化，众人合力搓成梧桐子大小的药丸。每次服用三十丸，空腹时用白开水送下。

以上药材，根据颈部活动情况选择螺壳：颈部转动灵活者选用长形螺，颈部转动不灵活者选用圆形螺。各取等份研为细末，用炼蜜制成丸药。每晚睡觉时，含化一丸于口中。其功效不可言喻。
【关于系瘤的神方，兼治鼠奶痔及类似瘤状物的论述】
取芫花根洗净，保持湿润状态，不可接触铁器，必须在木器或石器中捣烂取汁。取一根线浸泡半天或一夜，然后用这根线系住瘤体。经过一夜，瘤体自然脱落。如果未脱落，再换一根线重新系上，不超过三次，瘤体自会脱落。之后用龙骨、诃子、赤石脂，各取等份研为细末，敷在疮口上即可愈合。如果没有芫花根，可用芫花泡水，浸线后系在鼠奶痔上，按照此法使用，无一不效。
【关于洗瘤的秘方】
使用七指草（又名金凤花）一料，煎水频繁清洗患处。夏季用鲜品，春秋冬三季用干品，煎水清洗。
【一个治疗瘿的验方】
沉香、乳香、丁香、木香、藿香（各一钱五分）。
以上药材配合腊月里母猪眼七个，一同配好，用酒煮三炷香的时间，露天放置一夜。连同药材一起焙干，研为细末，用炼蜜制成如白果大小的丸药。每次临睡前，含化一丸。有效。
【治疗颈下突然结囊欲形成瘿的方子】
海藻一斤，洗净去咸味，用酒浸泡后饮用。加入等量的昆布，研为细末，炼蜜为丸，如杏核大小，含在口中，慢慢咽下。
【治疗瘿消除肿块】
【神效开结散】
沉香、木香（各一钱）、橘红（四两）、珍珠（四十九粒，放入砂罐内，用盐泥封固，取出晒干）、猪靥子肉（四十九枚，选用豚猪项间如枣子大者）。
以上研为细末。每次服用一钱，临睡前用酒调服，徐徐咽下。病情轻者三五服可愈，重者一剂即愈。忌食酸、咸、油腻及滞气之物。必须在除日（农历每月的最后一天）于洁净室内配制。
Ying and Liu (goiter and tumor) are conditions mostly caused by damage to Qi and Blood. Generally, if a person's Qi and Blood circulate without stagnation, they will not suffer from such ailments as Ying and Liu. If proper care and regulation are neglected, blood may coagulate within the skin and flesh, suddenly swelling up like a plum. Over time, it will grow larger.
Ying is classified into five types: Shi Ying (Stone Goiter), Rou Ying (Flesh Goiter), Jin Ying (Tendon Goiter), Xue Ying (Blood Goiter), and Qi Ying (Qi Goiter).
Liu is classified into six types: Gu Liu (Bone Tumor), Zhi Liu (Fat Tumor), Shi Liu (Stone Tumor), Rou Liu (Flesh Tumor), Nong Liu (Pus Tumor), and Xue Liu (Blood Tumor).
Regarding treatment methods, neither Ying nor Liu should ever be punctured with a needle. If punctured and pus leaks inadvertently, it can be fatal. The only exception is Zhi Liu (Fat Tumor), which can be lanced to remove the fatty matter; however, this should not be done lightly. I will outline the distinctions between Liu and Ying below; physicians should examine them carefully to avoid errors.
[Xiaoying Tang (Goiter-Resolving Decoction)]
Zao Hai (Sargassum Herba, washed), Long Dan Cao (Gentianae Radix), Hai Ge Fen (Concha Arcae Pulvis, each 2 liang), Tong Cao (Tetrapanacis Medulla), Kun Bu (Laminariae Thallus, burned until carbonized but retaining efficacy), Ku Bai Fan (Alumen Exsiccatum), Song Luo (Ramuli Usneae, each 1 liang), Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, 2.5 liang), Mai Qu (Saccharomyces Fermentum, 1.5 liang), Bai Zhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 1 liang).
Grind all ingredients into powder. Take 5 qian per dose, decocted in wine. Avoid consuming Gan Cao (Licorice Root), shrimp, fish, pork, Wu Xin (five pungent spices), and other toxic or irritating foods. Additionally, one must swallow Fan La Wan (Alum and Beeswax Pill).

It will fall off naturally within no more than three attempts. Afterwards, mix Long Gu (Os Draconis), He Zi (Terminalia Chebulae Fructus), and Chi Shi Zhi (Halloysit Rubrum) in equal parts, grind into powder, and apply to the wound to promote healing. If Yuan Hua Gen is unavailable, soak Yuan Hua (Genkwa Flos) in water, dip the thread, and tie it around Shu Nai Zhi (rat-nipple hemorrhoid) following the same method. It will be effective in every case.

Use Qi Zhi Cao (Chrysanthemi Indici Flos, also known as Jin Feng Hua) in sufficient quantity. Decoct in water and wash the affected area frequently. Use fresh herbs in summer, and dried herbs in spring, autumn, and winter.

Chen Xiang (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum), Ru Xiang (Olibanum), Ding Xiang (Caryophylli Flos), Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Huo Xiang (Pogostemonis Herba, each 1.5 qian).
Combine these herbs with seven eyes from a sow slaughtered in the twelfth lunar month. Decoct in wine for the duration of three incense sticks. Leave exposed to the air overnight. Dry the herbs together over heat, grind into powder, and form pills with refined honey the size of Ginkgo nuts. Hold one pill in the mouth to dissolve before sleep. Effective.

Chen Xiang (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum), Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix, each 1 qian), Ju Hong (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 4 liang), Zhen Zhu (Margarita, 49 grains, placed in a clay pot, sealed with salt mud, taken out and dried), Zhu Ye Zi Rou (Carnea Vesicae Uterinae Porcinae, 49 pieces, from piglets, located at the neck, size of dates).
Grind all ingredients into powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with wine before sleep, and swallow slowly. Mild cases resolve in 3–5 doses; severe cases resolve with one dose. Avoid sour, salty, greasy, and Qi-stagnating foods. This preparation must be compounded on the last day of the lunar month in a clean room.
