瘿病者，始作与瘿核相似。其瘿病喜当颈下，当中央不偏两边也，乃不急 然，则是瘿
也。中国人息气结瘿者，但重 无核也，长安及襄阳蛮人，其饮沙水，喜瘿有核瘰瘰耳，
无根，浮动在皮中，其地妇人患之，肾气实，沙石性合于肾，则令肾实，故病瘿也。北方妇
人饮沙水者，产乳其于难，非针不出。是以比家有不救者，良由此也。治瘿方。
小麦一升，醇苦酒一升，渍小麦令释，漉出暴燥，复渍使苦酒尽，暴麦燥，捣筛，以海
藻三两别捣，以和麦末令调，酒服方寸匕，日三。禁盐、生鱼、生菜、猪肉。
治瘿瘤诸 ，昆布丸方。

上七物，捣下筛，和蜜丸如梧子，服十丸，日三。稍加三十丸。
治三十岁瘰 瘿方。
海藻一斤，绢囊盛，好清酒二斗渍之，春夏二宿，服二合，酒尽复以酒二斗渍之，饮如
上法。此酒尽爆海藻令燥，末，服方寸匕，日三，药无所禁，一剂不愈更作，不过三剂也。
牡丹五等散，治颓疝阴卵偏大，有气上下胀大，行走肿大为妨，服此方良验。

久服益善。有痔病十八年，肛出长三寸，服此方即愈。亦治脱肛。有人热，可除羊髓，以赤
蜜代。禁生冷、鱼肉。
治谷道中痒痛痔疮，槐皮膏方。

上七味，锉，以猪脂二升煎，候白芷黄膏成，去滓，以涂之，日三度。
瘿病，起初发作时与瘿核相似。这种瘿病喜欢长在颈部下方，位于正中央而不偏向两侧，虽然不急迫，但这就是瘿病。中国人因气息郁结而成瘿的，只是沉重而没有硬块；长安及襄阳地区的蛮族人，因为饮用沙水，容易患有的瘿病是有核、颗粒状隆起的，没有根基，浮动在皮肤之中。当地妇女患病较多，因为她们肾气充实，沙石的性质与肾相合，导致肾脏实证，所以患上瘿病。北方妇女饮用沙水的，生育时非常困难，不用针石无法产出。因此有家庭因此无法挽救的，确实是因为这个原因。治疗瘿病的方剂：小麦一升，用醇厚的苦酒（醋）一升浸泡小麦，使其软化，滤出后暴晒干燥，再次浸泡直到苦酒被吸尽，再暴晒至麦粒干燥，捣碎过筛。另取海藻三两单独捣碎，与麦粉混合调匀，每次用酒送服一方寸匕的药量，每日三次。禁忌食用盐、生鱼、生菜、猪肉。
治疗瘿瘤的各种肿块，昆布丸方：昆布（八两，炙烤）、海藻（七两，洗净，炙烤）、小麦（一升，炒熟）、海蛤（五两）、松萝（四两）、连翘（二两）、白头翁（二两）。以上七味药，捣碎过筛，加入蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸药，每次服用十丸，每日三次。逐渐增加至三十丸。
治疗三十岁左右的瘰疬和瘿病方：海藻一斤，用丝绢袋盛装，用优质清酒二斗浸泡，春夏季节浸泡两个晚上，每次服用二合。酒喝完后，再用酒二斗浸泡，饮用方法同上。这酒喝完后将海藻取出暴晒干燥，研成粉末，每次服用一方寸匕，每日三次，服药期间没有饮食禁忌。一剂药如果未愈，可重新制作，不超过三剂即可。
牡丹五等散，治疗颓疝导致阴囊一侧偏大，有气上下胀大，行走时肿胀妨碍活动，服用此方疗效显著。牡丹（去心）、防风、桂心、豉（炒熟）、黄柏（各一分）。共五味药，研磨过筛，用酒送服一刀圭匕的量，二十天痊愈，治疗小儿颓疝效果最好。婴儿可将药粉与乳汁调和如大豆大小喂服。
牡丹散，治疗阴囊偏大且气胀的方剂：牡丹、桂心、防风、铁精、豉（炒熟，各等分）。以上五味药，捣碎过筛，用酒调和，每次服用一方寸匕。小儿服用一刀圭匕，二十天痊愈。婴儿将药粉与乳汁调和如大豆大小喂服，效果极佳。忌食生葱、胡荽。
治疗脱肛的有效方剂：蒲黄（二两）、猪脂油（三合）。共两味药，捣碎混合，敷在肛门上，并用手推纳回去，不超过两三次即可痊愈。
治疗脱肛的熏蒸方：用女萎一升，在容器中烧灼，坐在上面熏蒸肛门，即可痊愈。
治疗直肠随肛门脱出，扩张变宽无法回纳，长约一尺左右的方剂：捣碎生栝蒌，取汁温服，用猪肉汁洗手，同时配合按压，直肠可自行回纳。
若直肠随肛门脱出的方剂：加热锻石，用布包裹熨烫患处，同时按压使其回纳，变冷即更换。
治疗五种痔疮的散剂，主治饮酒过度劳损及外伤，治疗下部旁孔出血纵横流出及息肉肉芽。赤小豆（四分，炒熟）、黄芪（三分）、附子（炮制）、白蔹、桂心（各一分）、芍药、黄芩（各二分）。以上七味药，捣碎成散剂，用酒送服一方寸匕，每日三次，止血效果显著。
又一方：藜芦、大黄、黄连（各半两）、练木子（十四枚）、桃仁（十四枚，去皮）、巴豆（四枚，去皮心）。以上七味药，切碎，用猪脂肪油一升，煎煮三沸后，滤去药渣，涂抹在赘肉上，每日三次。外用此膏的同时，内服紫参丸，常并行使用。
治疗五种痔疮，大便时肛门边清血流出，紫参丸，治疗久治不愈者，服用后无不痊愈的方剂：紫参、秦艽、乱发灰、紫菀、浓朴（炙烤，以上各一两）、藁本（二两）、雷丸（半斤）、白芷（一两）、蛴螬（半两，炒熟）、石南（半两，炙烤）、贯众（三两，去毛）、猪后悬蹄甲（十四枚，炙烤）、虻虫（半两，去翅足炒熟）。以上十三味药，捣碎过筛，用羊脊骨中的骨髓和猪脂各半升煎煮，混合制成梧桐子大小的丸药，饭前用酒送服十五丸，每日两次。也可以温水送服。病情严重者夜间加服一次。四天后肛门边瘙痒停止，八天后脓血排尽，鼠乳（痔核）全部痊愈，满六十日后终身不再复发。长期服用更加有益。有人患痔病十八年，肛门脱出长三寸，服用此方即愈。也治疗脱肛。如果患者体内有热，可去掉羊髓，用赤蜜代替。禁忌生冷、鱼肉。
治疗谷道中瘙痒疼痛的痔疮，槐皮膏方：槐皮（五两）、甘草、当归、白芷（各二两）、陈豉、桃仁（各五十粒，去皮）、赤小豆（二合）。以上七味药，切碎，用猪脂油二升煎煮，等到白芷变黄、膏体形成时，滤去药渣，涂抹患处，每日三次。
Ying disease (goiter) initially presents similarly to a ying nodule (goiter nodule). This type of ying disease tends to occur below the neck, located centrally without deviating to either side. Although it is not urgent, it constitutes ying disease. Among Chinese people, goiters caused by qi stagnation are merely heavy without nodules. However, the Man people in Chang'an and Xiangyang regions, due to drinking sandy water, often suffer from goiters with nodules and granular protrusions. These have no root, floating within the skin. Women in this region are more prone to this condition because their Kidney Qi is substantial; the nature of sand and stone combines with the Kidney, causing Kidney excess, thus leading to ying disease. Northern women who drink sandy water experience difficulty during childbirth, requiring needles or stones for delivery. Consequently, some families fail to save lives, precisely due to this reason. Formula for treating ying disease: One sheng of wheat, soaked in one sheng of strong vinegar until softened. Strain and sun-dry, then soak again until the vinegar is fully absorbed. Sun-dry the wheat until dry, crush and sieve. Separate three liang of Sargassum Herba (Hai Zao, 海藻), crush separately, and mix with the wheat powder. Take one fang cun bi (a square-inch measure) with wine, three times daily. Consume no salt, raw fish, raw vegetables, or pork.
Formula for Kunbu Wan (Kelp Pill) for treating various ying tumors and lumps: Kelp (Ba Liang, roasted), Sargassum Herba (Qi Liang, washed and roasted), Wheat (One Sheng, fried), Arca Shell (Wu Liang), Usnea (Si Liang), Forsythiae Fructus (Lian Qiao, 2 Liang), Pulsatillae Radix (Bai Tou Weng, 2 Liang). The above seven herbs are crushed, sieved, mixed with honey, and formed into pills the size of a wu zi (cherry pit). Take ten pills, three times daily. Gradually increase to thirty pills.
Formula for treating lymphadenopathy and goiter in thirty-year-olds: One jin of Sargassum Herba, placed in a silk bag, soaked in two dou of good clear wine. Soak for two nights in spring and summer. Take two he of the wine. When finished, soak again in two dou of wine, drinking as before. After the wine is consumed, remove the Sargassum, sun-dry, and powder it. Take one fang cun bi, three times daily. There are no dietary restrictions. If one dose is ineffective, prepare another; no more than three doses are needed.
Mudan Wu Deng San (Five-Grade Peony Powder) treats tui shan (retracted testis) where one scrotal sac is enlarged, accompanied by qi distension moving up and down, swelling that hinders walking. This formula is highly effective. Cortex Moutan Radicis (Mudan Pi, 1 part), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fang Feng, 1 part), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui Xin, 1 part), Fermented Soybean (Chi, 1 part), Phellodendri Cortex (Huang Bo, 1 part). The five herbs are ground and sieved. Take one dao gui bi with wine. Cure within twenty days. It is best for treating pediatric tui shan. For infants, mix the powder with milk to the size of a soybean and administer.
Mudan San (Peony Powder) for treating unilateral scrotal enlargement and qi distension: Cortex Moutan Radicis, Cinnamomi Ramulus, Saposhnikoviae Radix, Iron Essence, Fermented Soybean (all equal parts). The five herbs are crushed and sieved. Mix with wine and take one fang cun bi. Infants take one dao gui bi. Cure within twenty days. For infants, mix with milk to the size of a soybean. Highly effective. Avoid raw green onions and coriander.
Verified formula for treating rectal prolapse: Polygoni Multiflori Caulis (Pu Huang, 2 Liang), Pig Fat (Zhu Gao, 3 He). Crush and mix the two ingredients. Apply to the anus and push it back in manually. It will heal within two or three applications.
Smoking formula for treating rectal prolapse: Burn one sheng of Anemarrhenae Rhizoma (Nü Wei) in a container. Sit over it to smoke the anus. It will heal immediately.
Formula for rectal prolapse extending out, widening and becoming irreducible, about one chi long: Crush fresh Trichosanthis Fructus (Gua Lou), take the juice, and drink it warm. Wash hands with pork broth while pressing the rectum back in; it will reduce spontaneously.
Another formula for rectal prolapse: Heat calcined gypsum (Duan Shi), wrap in cloth, and apply heat compresses. Press it back in while hot; replace when cool.
San for treating the five types of hemorrhoids, mainly for alcohol-induced fatigue and trauma, treating bleeding from lower orifices and flesh growths. Adzuki Bean (Chi Xiao Dou, 4 Fen, fried), Astragali Radix (Huang Qi, 3 Fen), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fu Zi, processed), Ampelopsis Radix (Bai Lian), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Gui Xin, 1 Fen), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shao Yao), Scutellariae Radix (Huang Qin, 2 Fen). The seven herbs are ground into powder. Take one fang cun bi with wine, three times daily. Highly effective for stopping bleeding.
Another formula: Veratrum Nigrum Rhizoma (Li Lu), Rheum Palmatum Radix (Da Huang), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huang Lian) (each half liang), Liquidambar Fructus (Lian Mu Zi, 14 pieces), Prunus Persica Seed (Tao Ren, 14 pieces, peeled), Crotonis Fructus (Ba Dou, 4 pieces, peeled and core removed). The seven herbs are chopped. Fry in one sheng of pig fat for three boils. Strain and apply to the hypertrophic tissue, three times daily. Use this ointment externally while internally taking Zishen Wan (Purple Ginseng Pill).
Zishen Wan for treating the five types of hemorrhoids, specifically for clear blood bleeding from the anal margin after defecation. This formula cures chronic cases that do not heal. Purple Ginseng (Zi Shen), Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix (Qin Jiao), Ash of Human Hair (Luan Fa Hui), Aster Tataricus Root (Zi Wan), Magnolia Bark (Nou Pu, roasted, each 1 Liang), Ligustici Rhizoma et Radix (Ben, 2 Liang), Ophiopogon tuber? No, Polyporus? No, Omphalia Lapidescens (Lei Wan, 0.5 Jin), Angelica Dahurica Radix (Bai Zhi, 1 Liang), Larvae of Melolontha (Qi Chang, 0.5 Liang, fried), Pyrolae Radix (Shi Nan, 0.5 Liang, roasted), Cyathulae Radix? No, Cibotii Rhizome? No, Cibotium Barometz (Guan Zhong, 3 Liang, hairs removed), Pig's Hind Hoof Nail (Zhu Hou Xuan Ti Jia, 14 pieces, roasted), Tabanidae Insect (Meng Chong, 0.5 Liang, wings and legs removed, fried). The thirteen herbs are crushed and sieved. Simmer sheep spinal marrow and pig fat (half sheng each) together, mix with the powder to form pills the size of a cherry pit. Take fifteen pills with wine before meals, twice daily. Can also be taken with water. For severe cases, take once at night. After four days, anal itching stops. After eight days, pus and blood cease, and all mouse-like hemorrhoids heal. After sixty days, there is no recurrence for life. Long-term use is beneficial. A case of eighteen-year hemorrhoid with three-cun prolapse was cured by this formula. It also treats rectal prolapse. For patients with heat, omit sheep marrow and substitute with red honey. Avoid cold/raw foods and fish/meat.
Huai Pi Gao (Locust Tree Bark Ointment) for treating itching and pain in the anal verge due to hemorrhoids: Locust Tree Bark (Huai Pi, 5 Liang), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Dang Gui), Angelica Dahurica Radix (Bai Zhi) (each 2 Liang), Old Fermented Soybean (Chen Chi), Prunus Persica Seed (Tao Ren, 50 pieces, peeled), Adzuki Bean (Chi Xiao Dou, 2 He). The seven herbs are chopped. Fry in two sheng of pig fat. When the Bai Zhi turns yellow and the ointment forms, strain. Apply three times daily.
