The right chest is named the Phlegm Point (Tan Xue), the left chest is named the Qi Point (Qi Xue), the right hypochondrium is named the Sea of Blood (Xue Hai), the left hypochondrium is named the Food Fu (Shi Fu), the center of the chest is the Dragon Pool Point (Long Tan Xue), and the center of the spine is the Sea Bottom Point (Hai Di Xue). Injury to the left breast causes cough, injury to the right breast causes hiccups, and both loins are the Two Pearls Points (Er Zhu Xue).
In cases of falls, blows, kicks, or tumbles, injuries to the upper body in men are easier to treat, while injuries to the lower body are difficult to cure, because Qi tends to rise. Injuries to the lower body in women are easier to treat, while injuries to the upper body are difficult, because the left belongs to Yang and the right belongs to Yin. Women's blood flow follows the right as Yin. It is essential to distinguish between Qi and Blood. Since these conditions involve the Zang-Fu organs and meridians, one must verify the speed of life or death before prescribing medication based on symptoms, or simply administer Jili San (Auspicious Powder).
1. Injuries affecting the whole body lead to rapid death, but treatment should follow the severity. First, soak Amomum fruit (Sha Ren) in water, mix with Jili San, and take it. Then treat with Shunqi Huoxue Tang (Regulate Qi and Invigorate Blood Decoction), and simultaneously take Heshang Wan (Harmonize Injury Pills) with sugar wine, four or five pills at a time. Afterwards, drink Tiaoli Yaojiu (Regulating Medicinal Wine) every morning. For mild cases, simply mix Jili San with brown sugar, oil, and wine and take it.
2. For shoulder and back injuries, assess the severity. For severe cases, first take Jili San mixed with Sha Ren decoction, then take Heshang Wan dissolved in wine, followed by Tiaoli Yaojiu for better results. For mild cases, mix Jili San with brown sugar, oil, and wine and take it to stabilize.
3. Injuries to the left side cause shortness of breath, yellow complexion, and edema. Injuries to the right side cause Qi deficiency, pale complexion, and blood deficiency. Immediately treat with Xingqi Huoxue Tang (Move Qi and Invigorate Blood Decoction), then take Tiaoli Yaojiu for complete recovery.
4. Back injuries affect the Five Zang organs which connect to the back; although critical, death is slower. Take more Jili San first, then Heshang Wan sent down with sugar wine, four or five doses, requiring 100 days of recuperation. If critical signs appear, taking Tiaoli Yaojiu is advisable.
5. Chest injuries occur where blood gathers and flows; long-term injury leads to cough, stifling sensation, dark complexion, and fever, with death in three to four days for severe cases. First take Sufeng Liqi Tang (Dispel Wind and Regulate Qi Decoction), then Xingqi Huoxue Tang and Jili San.

First take Sufeng Liqi Tang, then Heshang Wan, drinking decoction prepared from 100 Lily Bulbs (Bai He) frequently throughout the day.
8. Stomach (Food Belly) injuries present with paroxysmal pain in the epigastrium, fever, abdominal distension tight as drum skin, inability to eat, shortness of breath, closed eyes, bad breath, and dark complexion, indicating death within seven days. First take Sufeng Liqi Tang, then Heshang Wan.
9. Kidney injuries present with sudden deafness, black temples, pale puffy face, crying appearance, and bow-shaped swelling, indicating death within half a month. First take Sufeng Shunqi Buxue Tang (Dispel Wind, Smooth Qi, Tonify Blood Decoction), then Bushen Huoxue Tang (Tonify Kidney and Invigorate Blood Decoction) for three to four doses, followed by Jili San, and finally Hupo Wan.
10. Small intestine injuries present with urinary obstruction and pain, fever, dry mouth, facial swelling, shortness of breath, intermittent pain, and sour taste in the mouth, indicating death within three days. First decoct Sufeng Shunqi Tang with one cup of water and one cup of wine, take it. Then use Jili San, followed by Hupo Wan for relief. If obstructed for several days, it is incurable.
11. Large intestine injuries present with urgent bloody diarrhea, red complexion, and Qi stagnation, indicating death within half a month. First take Huaihua Tang (Sophora Flower Decoction), then Jili San, followed by Heshang Wan.

Obese people have fever and pain due to Qi deficiency; thin people have chills, fever, and pain due to anger and internal blood stasis with lower back pain. Pain is lighter during the day and heavier at night, caused by stagnant blood. Urgently use Hupo San (Amber Powder) to move it, then Heshang Wan, followed by Tiaoli Yaojiu.
25. For injuries preventing mouth opening: blow fine powder of Gleditsia sinensis (Ya Zao) into the nose to induce sneezing and open the mouth. Then pour hot leek white juice mixed with children's urine into the mouth. If not accepted, it is difficult to treat. If accepted and vomited with blood, assess severity. First take Jili San with Sha Ren decoction, then Qingxin Heqi Tang (Clear Heart and Harmonize Qi Decoction), externally apply Jiagu Gao (Bone-Setting Plaster). For severe cases without vomiting blood but with coma, take leek white juice with aged wine. For fractures, use sealing medicine. For urinary retention, use Hupo San. For abdominal pain due to blood stasis, use Dahuang San.

Take Huoxue Dingtong San (Invigorate Blood and Stop Pain Powder) for three to four doses, Zhuangjin Xugu Dan, and Tiaoli Yaojiu.
42. Knee joint: Socket and patella are above, joint reduces upward. Patient lies supine, one person lifts ankle. If reducing left, go down left; if right, go down right. Doctor presses knee with upper hand, holds knee, presses foot with lower hand, aligns socket with knee, presses knee only with upper hand, lifts only with lower hand, must reduce. Apply Jiagu Gao first, then Zhuangjin Xugu Dan.

Hard area check bone, soft area check depth. Bone injury treat bone, flesh injury generate flesh. External Jin Qiang Yao, internal Huxin Tuoli San (Protect Heart and Support Interior Powder). Refer to initial theory regarding original joints.
49. Self-strangulation: Check cut smoothness. Curved deep, straight shallow. Two cuts easy, one cut hard. Sew esophagus with oiled cotton thread. If bleeding stops, apply calcined gypsum and Chinese gall powder, seal with Jin Qiang Yao, take Hufeng Tuoli San for four to five doses. If no chills/fever, take Buchong Heqi Tang with Ginseng. Water pipe (trachea) rupture is incurable.
50. Abdominal wall injury with evisceration: Dangerous but harmless if internal organs safe. Remove fingernails. If internal organs safe, eat/drink normally. Rub with warm water, sew with oiled cotton thread, seal with Jin Qiang Yao, take Tongchang Huoxue Tang for five to six doses, then Buzhong Yiqi Tang.
