上十四味研，捣、罗为细末，拌合令匀，用白沙蜜炼熟，捣为锭子。每服一黑豆许，量儿大小，加减与服，
用金银薄荷汤下。
《灵苑》甘遂丸 搜疳取恹食，疏脏腑积滞，风热惊热。
甘遂（洗二度） 汉防己 槟榔（各半两） 轻粉（二钱） 干姜（锉碎，微炒令黄色） 青橘皮（汤浸去瓤）
巴豆（去壳，水浸，冬五日，夏三日，遂日用两度换水，去心膜，研。各一分）
上件七味内，除轻粉、巴豆外，并各细锉相拌和，同焙令干得所，杵、筛为末。先研巴豆如泥，次入软饭再研令极
细，次下轻粉并诸药末，搜和，杵合为丸如绿豆大，晒干。如是吃食不着及风热积滞，或大假惊，用煎生姜汤下，空心
服。三岁、四岁每服七丸；五岁、六岁九丸；十岁以上十丸；十五岁以上十二丸。取下积伤粘液恶物为度，后更服和气
药补之。如未转快，再用三丸至五丸，投之取快为度。膈上有风壅，吐出粘涎物勿疑。如春间要疏转，看风热可甚，临
时加减一两粒，勿令嚼破。如有急疾惊热，不拘早晚服用，忌生冷油腻等物。
《灵苑》桃红散 压惊。治风化涎，解伤寒，退惊热方。
半夏（四两，用水浸。每一日一度换水，从夏至前五日，浸至立秋后五日即止。待自成粉，曝干，用细罗子罗去粗
者不用，细者取二两） 龙脑（研） 朱砂（研。各一钱） 石膏（细研，以水飞过，用一两半）
上四件并用，一处拌合，再研令匀。每服用生姜熟水调下一字。
《灵苑》至宝丹方
生犀角 生玳瑁屑 琥珀（研） 牛黄（研） 朱砂（研，水飞过） 雄黄（研，水飞。各一两） 金银箔（各五
十片） 龙脑（研） 麝香（研。各一分） 安息香（一两半，去石，酒浸，重汤煮，直候化成水，再滤去滓石，约取
净数一两熬成膏）
上件药末，同入安息香膏内，研杵为丸如梧桐子大。以新瓷器内盛，具病汤使下。项急中风，阴阳二毒，
伤寒，卒中热 ，卒中恶，产后血晕迷闷，卒中疫毒，中诸毒，产后诸疾，山岚毒瓦斯，卒暗风，胎死不下，
误中水毒，卒气绝，中风不语，中蛊毒，梦中惊厌，以上诸疾以童子小便入生姜汁少许，同暖令温化下。心
肺壅热，霍乱吐泻，神梦不安，头目昏眩，不得睡卧，伤寒发狂，积痰 疟，邪气攻心，小儿惊风，小儿诸
痫，小儿心热，卒中客忤，以上诸疾，以人参汤化下。大人三丸至五丸，小儿只一丸至二丸。更量疾状大
小服食。
《太医局方》牛黄清心丸 治诸风缓纵不随，语言謇涩，心忪健忘，恍惚去来，头目眩冒，胸中烦郁，痰涎壅
塞，精神昏愦。又治心气不足，神志不定，惊恐怕怖，悲忧惨戚，虚烦少睡，喜怒无时，或发狂癫，神情昏乱。

上除大枣，杏仁、牛黄、脑、麝、金箔、雄黄七味外，为细末，同以研药拌匀，用炼蜜与枣膏为丸，每两
作一十丸，用金箔为衣。每服一丸，温水化下，食后服之。小儿惊痫，即酌度多少，用竹叶温汤化服。
《太医局方》五福化毒丹 治小儿蕴积毒热，惊惕狂躁，颊赤咽干，口舌生疮，夜卧不宁，谵语烦渴，头面身
体多生疮疖。

物，陈粟米泔水化下，食后临卧服。
《太医局方》辰砂金箔散 治小儿心膈邪热，神志不宁，惊惕烦渴，恍惚忪悸，夜卧不安，狂语咬齿及痰
实咳嗽，咽膈不利。
辰砂（水飞过，七十两） 桔梗（五十两） 金箔（二百片，入药） 人参（去芦头） 茯苓（去皮） 牙硝（枯，
研。各三十两） 蛤粉（水飞，八十两） 甘草（炙，锉，二十五两） 生脑子（二两，研）
上为细末。一岁儿每服半钱，薄花汤调下。未满百 儿，腑脏多热，睡卧不稳，大便不利，用蜜汤调下一
字，更量儿大小加减。如大人、小儿咽喉肿痛，口舌生疮，每用少许，掺在患处，咽津立效。大人膈热，每
服一钱，新水调下，食后临卧服。
《太医局方》牛黄膏 治惊化涎，凉膈镇心，祛邪热，止痰嗽。
人参（去苗，二十五两） 甘草（ ，五十两） 牙硝（研，枯过，十两） 雄黄（水飞，七十五两） 蛤粉（水
飞，二百两） 朱砂（水飞，十两） 生龙脑（四两，研） 金箔、银箔（各二百片，为衣）
上为细末，炼蜜搜和，每一两八钱作二十丸，以金箔、银箔为衣。一岁儿每服如绿豆大。薄荷温水化下。
量岁数临时加减，服之食后。
《太医局方》虎睛丸 治小儿惊风壮热，痰涎壅滞，精神昏愦，睡多惊啼或发搐搦，目睛直视。

《太医局方》惊风积滞，夜卧惊叫，涎热痰嗽。金箔镇心丸
紫河车（二两半） 人参 茯苓 甘草（锉， 。各五两） 山药（十五两） 朱砂（飞，十两） 牙硝（一两半）
金箔（二十片） 生脑（一两） 麝香（半两）
上为末，炼蜜丸鸡头大，金箔为衣。每服半丸，薄荷水化下。
《谭氏殊圣方》治小儿痰涎惊热。
寒水石 滑石 甘草（炙）
上各等分，为末。每服一字，薄荷汤化下。
《婴孺方》治小儿惊热欲发疹。消热定惊煎
柴胡（十分） 寒水石（十二分） 升麻 栀子仁 芍药（各七分） 子芩 知母（各八分） 竹叶（一升，切）
杏仁（六分，去皮尖，炒） 钩藤皮 甘草（炙。各二分） 生葛汁（三合） 蜜（四分）
上以水四升七合，煎取一升半，去滓，纳蜜，葛汁，慢火上煎，勿住手搅，存一升二合。一二岁服二合，日
再服，夜一服，冬夏过服。
钱乙治肝外感邪风，呵欠烦闷，口中气热，当发散，宜大青膏方
天麻末（一分） 白附子末（一钱半，生） 蝎尾（去毒，生） 乌蛇梢肉（酒浸，焙干，取末。各半钱） 朱砂
（研） 麝香 天竺黄（研匕谓起也。各一字匕） 青黛（一钱，研）
上同再研细，生蜜和成膏。每服半皂子大至一皂子大。月中儿粳米大，同牛黄膏温薄荷水化一处服之。五
岁以上同甘露散服之。（牛黄方膏见后。）
钱乙玉露散（一名甘露散）
寒水石（软而微青黑，中有细纹者是） 石膏（坚白而有墙壁，手不可折者是好，无，以方解石代之。坚白以石膏
敲之段段皆方者是。各半两） 甘草（生，一钱）
上同为细末。每服一字或半钱、一钱，食后温汤调下。
钱乙治惊热，上窜切牙。导赤散方
生干地黄（焙，秤） 木通 甘草（炙。各等分）
上同为末。每服三钱，水一盏，入竹叶同煎至五分，食后温服。（一本不用甘草，用黄芩。）
钱乙治肝热，手寻衣领及乱捻物，泻青丸主之。壮热饮水喘闷，泻白散主之（泻白散方见喘咳上气门中）。
泻青丸方

上同研匀，蜜和为剂，食后薄荷汤温化下半皂子大。
钱乙牛黄膏 治惊热及伤风温壮，疳热引饮。

钱乙软金丹 治惊热，痰盛壅嗽膈实。
天竺黄 轻粉（各二两） 青黛（一分） 黑牵牛（一粒，取末） 半夏（用生姜三分，捣成面，焙干，再为细末。
各三分）
上同研匀，熟蜜剂为膏。薄荷水化下半皂子大至一皂子大，量儿度多少用之，食后。钱乙镇心丸凉心经，治惊热痰
盛。
甜硝（白者） 人参（切去芦头，取末） 朱砂（各一两） 甘草（炙，取末） 寒水石（烧。各一两半） 干山
药（白者） 白茯苓（各二两） 龙脑 麝香（与前脑并研。各一钱）
上为细末，熟蜜丸鸡头大。如要红，入坯子胭脂二钱（即染胭脂），温水化下半丸至一二丸，食后。
《良方》小儿之病，因惊则心气不行，郁而生涎，逆为大疾。宜常服，行小肠去心热。儿自少惊涎，惊亦不
成疾。寒水石膏
寒水石（二两） 滑石（水研如泔，扬取细者，沥干，更研无声及止，二两） 甘草末（一两）
上量儿大小，热月冷水下，寒月温水下。凡被人惊，心热不可安卧，皆与一服，加龙脑更良。
《良方》治小儿惊热，多涎，身热痰疟，久痢，吐乳，或午后发热，惊痫等疾。辰砂丸
辰砂 粉霜 腻粉（各一分） 生龙脑（一钱）
上软粳饭为丸绿豆大。一岁一丸，甘草汤下，大人七丸。
《万全方》治小儿血脉盛实，寒热时作，四肢惊掣，发热大吐。儿若已能进哺，中食不消，壮热及变蒸不解，中
风，客忤人鬼气并诸痫等。并宜服龙胆散方

上杵，罗为末。每服一钱，以水一小盏，煎五分温服。
《万全方》治小儿惊热至甚。郁金散
郁金 天竺黄 马牙硝 铅霜（各半两） 龙脑（一分）
上捣、罗为末。每服半钱，以热水调下。
《惠眼观证》牛黄散 大解惊热。
郁金（半两，皂角水浸） 牙硝 甘草（炙） 石膏（各一分） 雄黄（一钱，用米醋煮，别研） 龙脑 麝香（各
少许）
上为末。每服五分，以熟水调下。
《惠眼观证》朱砂膏 治襁褓内牙儿等，因惊风后，余涎响。及初生下，患鹅口重舌 ，心热夜啼，发病搐搦，
项背强直，痰涎壅并目带上翻，进退无时。
朱砂（好者，别研） 硼砂（通飞者，研。各半两） 甘草（炙，一分） 牙硝（一两半， 过，少分生，别研） 麝
香（研） 龙脑（研。各一字）
上先研朱砂四五百转，又别研硼砂同前数，入诸药再研，出，方研脑子，再入诸药末，滚合滴水、研成膏，
摊一宿以油纸单内。每服皂皂大，更加减吃。若更滚涎，用鸡子清化下，常服甘草汤。
《刘氏家传方》惊热风涎，前后不通。
大黄（二钱） 甘草 牙硝（各一分）
上生锉为粗末。每服半钱，水半盏，入蜜少许，煎至五分，去滓，冷服。入脑、麝尤妙。
《刘氏家传方》天竺黄散 治惊风热。
天竺黄 郁金 山栀子 白僵蚕 蝉蜕 甘草
上等分，生用，日干末之。每半钱或一字，冷生水、熟水亦得调下。量儿大小加减。
《刘氏家传方》镇心丸 治惊风热积，惊泻痰涎，壅滞咳嗽，善退壮热，逐恶涎。
朱砂（研） 雄黄（通明者，研。各一钱） 干蝎（全者，七个，生，末之） 脑麝（各半字） 巴豆（七粒，去
皮，研，以纸出油尽成霜，同众药和匀，出油了，取十二字）
上研匀，白水糊丸粟米大，阴干。一岁一丸，二岁二丸，三岁三丸，随年数。用煎金银薄荷汤下，常服二
丸，不拘时候。
《刘氏家传方》阿胶丸 治上焦风壅，咽喉涩痛。镇心脏，去邪气，化痰涎，解伤寒烦热兼小儿惊涎，五般潮
热。
将以上十四味药研碎，捣烂、过筛成细末，混合均匀，用炼熟的白沙蜜制成锭剂。每次服用如黑豆大小的一粒，根据患儿年龄大小增减剂量，用金银花和薄荷煎汤送服。
《灵苑》甘遂丸：搜刮疳积以改善厌食，疏通脏腑内的积滞，治疗风热惊热。
药材包括：甘遂（清洗两次）、汉防己、槟榔（各半两）、轻粉（二钱）、干姜（切碎，微炒至黄色）、青橘皮（热水浸泡后去除瓤）、巴豆（去壳，用水浸泡，冬季五天，夏季三天，每天换两次水，去除心部和内膜，研磨）。
以上七味药中，除轻粉和巴豆外，其余药物均切碎拌匀，共同焙烤至干燥适度，捣碎过筛成粉末。先将巴豆研磨成泥状，再加入软米饭继续研磨至极细，随后加入轻粉及诸药粉末，调和捣匀，制成如绿豆大小的丸剂，晒干。如果是因饮食不化及风热积滞，或出现假性惊厥，用生姜煎汤送服，空腹服用。三岁、四岁儿童每次服用七丸；五岁、六岁九丸；十岁以上十丸；十五岁以上十二丸。以排出积滞损伤产生的粘液恶物为度，之后服用调和胃气的药物进行补益。如果症状未缓解，再服用三至五丸，直到感到舒适为止。膈上有风邪壅塞，吐出粘涎物不要怀疑。如果在春季需要疏通，视风热程度如何，临时加减一两粒，不要让丸子嚼碎。如果有急性的惊热，不拘早晚服用，忌食生冷油腻等食物。
《灵苑》桃红散：镇惊。治疗风气化生痰涎，解除伤寒，退除惊热的方剂。
药材包括：半夏（四两，用水浸泡。每天换一次水，从夏至前五天开始，浸至立秋后五天停止。待其自然变成粉末，晒干，用细罗筛去粗者不用，取细粉二两）、龙脑（研磨）、朱砂（研磨，各一钱）、石膏（细研，用水飞法处理，用一两半）。
以上四味药混合拌匀，再次研磨均匀。每次服用时，用生姜熟水调服“一字”量。
《灵苑》至宝丹方
药材包括：生犀角、生玳瑁屑、琥珀（研磨）、牛黄（研磨）、朱砂（研磨，水飞法）、雄黄（研磨，水飞法，各一两）、金银箔（各五十片）、龙脑（研磨）、麝香（研磨，各一分）、安息香（一两半，去杂质，酒浸，隔水加热煮，直至化成水，再过滤去渣滓和石头，约取纯净数一两熬成膏）。
以上药末，同入安息香膏内，研磨捣匀制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂。用新瓷器盛装，根据病情用相应的汤剂送服。对于项强中风、阴阳二毒、伤寒、卒中暑热、卒中恶气、产后血晕迷闷、卒中疫毒、中各种毒、产后各种疾病、山岚瘴气毒瓦斯、突然暗风、胎死不下、误中水毒、突然气绝、中风不语、中蛊毒、梦中惊悸厌恶，以上各种疾病用童子小便加入少许生姜汁，一同加热温化后送服。对于心肺壅热、霍乱吐泻、神志梦境不安、头目昏眩、无法睡眠躺卧、伤寒发狂、积痰疟疾、邪气攻心、小儿惊风、小儿各种痫证、小儿心热、卒中客忤，以上各种疾病用人参汤化开送服。成人每次三至五丸，小儿每次一至二丸。更需根据病情轻重调整剂量服用。
《太医局方》牛黄清心丸：治疗各种风邪导致的肢体弛缓不能随意运动，语言謇涩，心慌健忘，精神恍惚忽来忽去，头目眩晕冒昧，胸中烦闷抑郁，痰涎壅塞，精神昏沉糊涂。又治疗心气不足，神志不定，惊恐害怕，悲伤忧愁凄惨，虚烦少睡，喜怒无常，或发作狂癫，神情昏乱。
药材包括：牛黄（研磨，一两二钱）、金箔（一千二百片，其中四百片作为包衣）、麝香（研磨）、龙脑（研磨）、羚羊角末（各一两）、犀角末（二两）、干山药（七两）、雄黄（八钱，飞研）、薄黄（炒制）、人参（去芦头）、神曲（研磨，各二两半）、桂枝（去粗皮）、大豆卷（炒香）、阿胶（炒碎，各一两七钱半）、当归（去芦头）、防风（去苗）、黄芩、麦门冬（去心）、白芍药、白术（各一两半）、甘草（切碎，炒制，五两）、柴胡（去苗）、桔梗、白茯苓（去皮）、川芎、杏仁（去皮尖及双仁，麸炒微黄，另研，各一两二钱半）、白蔹、干姜（各七钱半）、大枣（一百枚，蒸热去皮核，研成膏）。
以上除大枣、杏仁、牛黄、龙脑、麝香、金箔、雄黄这七味药外，其余药物研成细末，与上述研磨的药物拌匀，用炼蜜和大枣膏制成丸剂，每两药粉制成十丸，用金箔包衣。每次服用一丸，温水化开送服，饭后服用。小儿惊痫，酌情用量，用竹叶温汤化开服下。
《太医局方》五福化毒丹：治疗小儿蕴积毒热，惊惕狂躁，脸颊发红咽喉干燥，口舌生疮，夜间睡眠不宁，说胡话烦躁口渴，头面身体多生疮疖。
药材包括：元参（清洗，焙干）、桔梗（各六两）、茯苓（去皮，五两）、人参（去芦头）、牙硝（枯制）、青黛（研磨，各二两）、甘草（切碎，炒制，一两半）、麝香（研磨，半钱）、金银箔（各八片，作为包衣）。
以上研成细末，加入研磨好的药物拌匀，炼蜜制成丸剂，每两药粉制成十二丸。每一岁儿童服用一丸，分四次服用，用薄荷水化开送服。以及疮疹之后，余毒上攻，导致口齿鲜血暴露产生臭气，用生地黄自然汁化开一丸，用鸡毛扫在口腔内；热疳导致肌肉黄瘦，雀目夜盲，用陈粟米泔水化开送服，饭后临睡前服用。
《太医局方》辰砂金箔散：治疗小儿心膈邪热，神志不宁，惊惕烦渴，恍惚心悸，夜间睡眠不安，说胡话咬牙齿以及痰实咳嗽，咽喉膈部不利。
药材包括：辰砂（水飞法，七十两）、桔梗（五十两）、金箔（二百片，入药）、人参（去芦头）、茯苓（去皮）、牙硝（枯制，研磨，各三十两）、蛤粉（水飞法，八十两）、甘草（炙制，切碎，二十五两）、生脑子（即冰片，二两，研磨）。
以上研成细末。一岁儿童每次服用半钱，用薄花汤调服。未满百日的婴儿，脏腑多热，睡眠不稳，大便不通利，用蜜汤调服“一字”量，更需根据婴儿大小增减剂量。如大人、小儿咽喉肿痛，口舌生疮，每次用少许，撒在患处，咽下津液立即见效。大人膈热，每次服用一钱，新水调服，饭后临睡前服用。
《太医局方》牛黄膏：治疗惊风化痰涎，凉膈镇心，祛邪热，止痰嗽。
药材包括：人参（去苗，二十五两）、甘草（五十两）、牙硝（研磨，枯制，十两）、雄黄（水飞法，七十五两）、蛤粉（水飞法，二百两）、朱砂（水飞法，十两）、生龙脑（四两，研磨）、金箔、银箔（各二百片，作为包衣）。
以上研成细末，炼蜜调和，每一两八钱制成二十丸，以金箔、银箔为衣。一岁儿童每次服用如绿豆大小。用薄荷温水化开送服。根据年龄临时增减剂量，饭后服用。
《太医局方》虎睛丸：治疗小儿惊风壮热，痰涎壅滞，精神昏沉，嗜睡惊啼或发生抽搐，眼睛直视。
药材包括：朱砂（水飞法，二两）、麝香（研磨）、天南星（炮制）、白附子（炮制，各三两）、天浆子（微炒，一百四十个）、使君子（一百个）、胡黄连、天麻（去苗，称重）、茯神（去心木）、腻粉（研磨）、天竺黄（研磨，各五两）、青黛（七两，研磨）。
以上研成细末，用面糊制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂。每一岁儿童服用一丸，用薄荷汤化开送服，更需根据虚实情况增减剂量，乳食后服用。
《太医局方》惊风积滞，夜间睡眠惊叫，涎热痰嗽。金箔镇心丸
药材包括：紫河车（二两半）、人参、茯苓、甘草（切碎，炙制，各五两）、山药（十五两）、朱砂（飞研，十两）、牙硝（一两半）、金箔（二十片）、生脑（即冰片，一两）、麝香（半两）。
以上研成粉末，炼蜜制成鸡头大小的丸剂，金箔包衣。每次服用半丸，用薄荷水化开送服。
《谭氏殊圣方》治疗小儿痰涎惊热。
药材包括：寒水石、滑石、甘草（炙制）。
以上各等分，研成粉末。每次服用“一字”量，用薄荷汤化开送服。
《婴孺方》治疗小儿惊热欲发疹。消热定惊煎
药材包括：柴胡（十分）、寒水石（十二分）、升麻、栀子仁、芍药（各七分）、子芩、知母（各八分）、竹叶（一升，切碎）、杏仁（六分，去皮尖，炒制）、钩藤皮、甘草（炙制，各二分）、生葛汁（三合）、蜜（四分）。
以上用水四升七合，煎取一升半，去渣滓，加入蜜、葛汁，在慢火上煎煮，不要停手搅拌，存留一升二合。一二岁儿童服用二合，每天两次，夜间一次，冬夏季节过量服用。
钱乙治疗肝经外感邪风，呵欠烦闷，口中气息热，应当发散，宜用大青膏方
药材包括：天麻末（一分）、白附子末（一钱半，生用）、蝎尾（去毒，生用）、乌蛇梢肉（酒浸，焙干，取末，各半钱）、朱砂（研磨）、麝香、天竺黄（研磨，匕谓起也，各一字匕）、青黛（一钱，研磨）。
以上共同再次研磨细，用生蜜和成膏。每次服用半皂荚子大至一皂荚子大。一个月大的婴儿用粳米大小，同牛黄膏一起用温薄荷水化开一处服用。五岁以上同甘露散服用。（牛黄方膏见后文。）
钱乙玉露散（一名甘露散）
药材包括：寒水石（软而微青黑，中有细纹的是好药）、石膏（坚白而有墙壁状纹理，手不可折断的是好药，若无，以方解石替代。坚白以石膏敲击之段段皆方的是好药。各半两）、甘草（生用，一钱）。
以上共同研成细末。每次服用“一字”或半钱、一钱，饭后温汤调服。
钱乙治疗惊热，眼球上窜切牙。导赤散方
药材包括：生干地黄（焙干，称重）、木通、甘草（炙制，各等分）。
以上共同研成粉末。每次服用三钱，水一盏，加入竹叶同煎至五分，饭后温服。（另一版本不用甘草，用黄芩。）
钱乙治疗肝热，手寻衣领及乱捻物，主方为泻青丸。壮热饮水喘闷，主方为泻白散（泻白散方见喘咳上气门中）。
泻青丸方
药材包括：当归（去芦头，切，焙干，称重）、龙胆（焙干，称重）、川芎、山栀子仁、川大黄（湿纸包裹，煨制）、羌活、防风（去芦头，切，焙干，称重）。
以上等分为末，炼蜜和丸如鸡头大小。每次服用半丸至一丸，煎竹叶汤同沙糖温水化开送服。
钱乙牛黄膏 治疗惊热。
药材包括：雄黄（小枣大，用独茎葡萝根水并醋共一大盏煮至尽）、甘草末、甜硝（各三钱）、朱砂（半钱匕）、龙脑（一字匕）、寒水石（研细，五钱匕）。
以上共同研磨均匀，蜜和为剂，饭后用薄荷汤温化下半皂荚子大。
钱乙牛黄膏 治疗惊热及伤风温壮，疳热引饮。
药材包括：雄黄（研磨）、甘草末、川甜硝（各一分）、寒水石（生用，飞研，一两）、郁金末、脑子（即冰片，各一钱）、绿豆粉（半两）。
以上研磨均匀，炼蜜和成膏，用薄荷水化开下半皂荚子大，饭后服用。
钱乙五福化毒丹 治疗惊热，凉心脾。
药材包括：生熟地黄（焙干，称重，各五两）、元参、天门冬（去心）、麦门冬（去心，焙干，称重，各三两）、甘草（炙制）、甜硝（各二两）、青黛（一两半）。
以上八味研成细末，后研入硝、黛，炼蜜丸如鸡头大小。每次服用半丸或一丸，饭后水化开送服。
钱乙软金丹 治疗惊热，痰盛壅嗽膈实。
药材包括：天竺黄、轻粉（各二两）、青黛（一分）、黑牵牛（一粒，取末）、半夏（用生姜三分，捣成面，焙干，再为细末，各三分）。
以上共同研磨均匀，熟蜜剂为膏。用薄荷水化开下半皂荚子大至一皂荚子大，根据儿童度数多少使用，饭后服用。
钱乙镇心丸 凉心经，治疗惊热痰盛。
药材包括：甜硝（白色）、人参（切去芦头，取末）、朱砂（各一两）、甘草（炙制，取末）、寒水石（烧制，各一两半）、干山药（白色）、白茯苓（各二两）、龙脑、麝香（与前脑并研，各一钱）。
以上研成细末，熟蜜丸如鸡头大小。如果要红色，加入坯子胭脂二钱（即染胭脂），温水化开半丸至一二丸，饭后服用。
《良方》小儿的疾病，因为受惊则心气不行，郁而生涎，逆乱成为大疾。宜常服用，行小肠去心热。儿童自幼有惊涎，即使受惊也不成疾。寒水石膏
药材包括：寒水石（二两）、滑石（水研如泔水，扬取细者，沥干，更研无声及止，二两）、甘草末（一两）。
以上根据儿童大小，热月冷水送下，寒月温水送下。凡是被人惊吓，心热不可安卧，都给予一服，加龙脑更好。
《良方》治疗小儿惊热，多涎，身热痰疟，久痢，吐乳，或午后发热，惊痫等疾病。辰砂丸
药材包括：辰砂、粉霜、腻粉（各一分）、生龙脑（一钱）。
以上用软粳饭制成如绿豆大小的丸剂。一岁一丸，甘草汤送服，成人七丸。
《万全方》治疗小儿血脉盛实，寒热时作，四肢惊掣，发热大吐。儿童若已能进食辅食，中食不消，壮热及变蒸不解，中风，客忤人鬼气并各种痫证等。都宜服用龙胆散方
药材包括：龙胆（择去芦头）、钩藤、柴胡（去苗）、甘草（微炙）、赤茯苓、黄芩、桔梗、赤芍药、川大黄（锉，炒，以上各一分）。
以上捣碎，过筛成末。每次服用一钱，以水一小盏，煎至五分温服。
《万全方》治疗小儿惊热至甚。郁金散
药材包括：郁金、天竺黄、马牙硝、铅霜（各半两）、龙脑（一分）。
以上捣碎，过筛成末。每次服用半钱，以热水调服。
《惠眼观证》牛黄散 大解惊热。
药材包括：郁金（半两，皂角水浸）、牙硝、甘草（炙制）、石膏（各一分）、雄黄（一钱，用米醋煮，另研）、龙脑、麝香（各少许）。
以上研成粉末。每次服用五分，以熟水调服。
《惠眼观证》朱砂膏 治疗襁褓内的婴儿等，因惊风后，余涎响。以及初生下，患鹅口重舌，心热夜啼，发病抽搐，项背强直，痰涎壅并目带上翻，进退无时。
药材包括：朱砂（好者，另研）、硼砂（通飞者，研，各半两）、甘草（炙制，一分）、牙硝（一两半，炒过，少分生，另研）、麝香（研）、龙脑（研，各一字）。
以上先研朱砂四五百转，又另研硼砂同前次数，入诸药再研，取出，才研脑子，再入诸药末，滚合滴水，研成膏，摊一夜以油纸单包裹。每次服用皂荚子大小，更加减吃。如果还有滚涎，用鸡蛋清化开送服，常服甘草汤。
《刘氏家传方》惊热风涎，前后不通。
药材包括：大黄（二钱）、甘草、牙硝（各一分）。
以上生锉为粗末。每次服用半钱，水半盏，入蜜少许，煎至五分，去渣滓，冷服。加入脑、麝尤妙。
《刘氏家传方》天竺黄散 治疗惊风热。
药材包括：天竺黄、郁金、山栀子、白僵蚕、蝉蜕、甘草。
以上等分，生用，日干末之。每次半钱或一字，冷生水、熟水亦得调服。根据儿童大小加减。
《刘氏家传方》镇心丸 治疗惊风热积，惊泻痰涎，壅滞咳嗽，善退壮热，逐恶涎。
药材包括：朱砂（研）、雄黄（通明者，研，各一钱）、干蝎（全者，七个，生，末之）、脑麝（各半字）、巴豆（七粒，去皮，研，以纸出油尽成霜，同众药和匀，出油了，取十二字）。
以上研匀，白水糊丸粟米大，阴干。一岁一丸，二岁二丸，三岁三丸，随年数。用煎金银薄荷汤送服，常服二丸，不拘时候。
Grind the above fourteen ingredients, pound and sieve into fine powder, mix evenly. Use refined white sand honey to form锭剂 (tablet). Each dose is the size of a black soybean; adjust the dosage according to the child's age and size. Administer with an infusion of Honeysuckle Flower (Jinyinhua) and Mint (Bohe).
*Lingyuan* Gansui Wan (Gansui Pill): Expels phthisis (Gan syndrome) to improve anorexia, unblocks internal accumulation in the zang-fu organs, and treats wind-heat and fright-heat.
Gansui Radix (Gansui Gen), washed twice; Han Fangji Root (Han Fangji); Areca Seed (Binglang), half tael each; Calomel (Qingfen), two qian; Dried Ginger (Ganjiang), chopped and lightly stir-fried until yellow; Green Tangerine Peel (Qingju Pi), soaked in hot water and pith removed; Croton Seed (Badou), shelled, soaked in water (five days in winter, three days in summer, changing water twice daily), heart membrane removed, pounded. One fen each.
Take the seven ingredients mentioned above. Excluding Qingfen and Badou, finely chop the remaining herbs, mix them, and bake until dry. Pound and sieve into powder. First, grind Badou into a paste, then add soft rice and grind until extremely fine. Next, add Qingfen and the other herb powders, mix and pound into pills the size of mung beans, and dry in the sun. For cases of indigestion due to food stagnation and wind-heat accumulation, or pseudo-fright convulsions, administer with ginger decoction on an empty stomach. For children aged three or four, take seven pills; five or six years old, nine pills; over ten years old, ten pills; over fifteen years old, twelve pills. Continue until foul sticky mucus and accumulated waste are expelled, then follow with harmonizing Qi tonics. If there is no improvement, administer three to five more pills until relief is felt. If wind-phlegm obstructs the diaphragm and sticky saliva is vomited, do not doubt this reaction. In spring, if dredging is required, adjust by one or two pills based on the severity of wind-heat; do not chew. For acute fright-heat, take at any time, avoiding raw, cold, and greasy foods.
*Lingyuan* Taohong San (Peach Red Powder): Suppresses fright. Treats wind transforming into phlegm-fluid, resolves exogenous cold, and reduces fright-heat.
Pinellia Tuber (Banxia), four taels, soaked in water, changed daily from five days before Summer Solstice to five days after Autumn Equinox. When it naturally turns to powder, dry it in the sun, sieve with a fine mesh to remove coarse particles, and use two taels of the fine powder; Borneol (Longnao), ground; Cinnabar (Zhusha), ground; each one qian; Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), finely ground and levigated with water, one and a half taels.
Mix the four ingredients thoroughly and grind again until uniform. Each dose is taken by mixing with warm water containing ginger, measuring "yi zi" (a small measure).
*Lingyuan* Zhibao Dan (Treasure Treasure Pill)
Raw Rhinoceros Horn (Sheng Xijiao); Raw Trionyx Carapace (Sheng Daimaixie); Amber (Hupo), ground; Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang), ground; Cinnabar (Zhusha), ground and levigated; Realgar (Xionghuang), ground and levigated; each one tael; Gold and Silver Leaf (Jinyinbo), fifty pieces each; Borneol (Longnao), ground; Moschus (Shexiang), ground; each one fen; Benzoin Resin (Anxi Xiang), one and a half taels, impurities removed, soaked in wine, boiled in a double boiler until dissolved, filtered to remove residue and stones, concentrated to approximately one tael of pure extract/paste.
Mix the above herb powders into the Anxi Xiang paste, grind and pound into pills the size of Chinese walnut seeds. Store in a new porcelain vessel. Administer with appropriate decoctions based on the condition. For stiff neck and wind-stroke, Yin-Yang two poisons, exogenous cold, sudden heat stroke, sudden evil invasion, postpartum blood dizziness and coma, epidemic toxin invasion, various poison invasions, postpartum diseases, mountainous miasma toxins, sudden dark wind, retained dead fetus, accidental water toxin poisoning, sudden qi collapse, wind-stroke with aphasia, gu poison, dream-induced fright, and similar conditions: administer with urine from a young boy mixed with a little fresh ginger juice, warmed and dissolved before ingestion. For heat obstruction in Heart and Lungs, cholera with vomiting and diarrhea, restless dreams, dizziness of head and eyes, insomnia, mania due to exogenous cold, phlegm-fluid malaria, pathogenic qi attacking the Heart, pediatric wind-stroke, various childhood epilepsies, pediatric heart-heat, sudden ke-wu (alien qi) invasion: administer with Ginseng Decoction. Adults take three to five pills; children take one to two pills. Adjust dosage according to the severity of the disease.
*Taiyiju Fang* Niuhuang Qingxin Wan (Calculus Bovis Clear Heart Pill): Treats various wind syndromes causing flaccidity and paralysis, slurred speech, palpitations and forgetfulness, mental confusion and instability, dizziness and vertigo, chest oppression and irritability, phlegm-fluid obstruction, and mental dullness. Also treats insufficient Heart Qi, unstable spirit, fear and panic, sadness and grief, deficiency-heat with insomnia, erratic emotions, manic epilepsy, and confused spirit.
Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang), ground, one liang two qian; Gold Leaf (Jinbo), 1200 pieces (400 pieces for coating); Moschus (Shexiang), ground; Borneol (Longnao), ground; Antelope Horn Powder (Lingyangjiao Mo), each one liang; Rhinoceros Horn Powder (Xijiao Mo), two taels; Dried Yam (Ganshan Yao), seven taels; Realgar (Xionghuang), eight qian, levigated and ground; Thin Yellow (Bohuang), stir-fried; Ginseng (Renshen), radicle removed; Fermented Wheat Qu (Shenqu), ground; each two taels half; Cinnamon Twig (Guizhi), bark removed; Soybean Sprout (Dadoujuan), stir-fried until fragrant; Donkey-hide Gelatin (Ejiao), stir-fried until broken; each one liang seven qian half; Angelica Sinensis (Danggui), radicle removed; Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), pubescence removed; Scutellaria Root (Huangqin); Ophiopogon Tuber (Mendong), heart removed; White Peony Root (Baishao); Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu), each one liang half; Licorice Root (Gancao), chopped and stir-fried, five taels; Bupleurum Root (Chaihu), pubescence removed; Platycodon Root (Jiegeng); Poria (Baifuling), skin removed; Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Xiong); Apricot Seed (Xingren), skin and tip removed, twin kernels discarded, bran-fried until slightly yellow, separately ground; each one liang two qian half; White Balsam Apple Root (Bailian); Dried Ginger (Ganjiang), each seven qian half; Jujube (Dazao), 100 pieces, steamed until hot, skin and pits removed, pounded into paste.
Except for the seven ingredients: Dazao, Xingren, Niuhuang, Longnao, Shexiang, Jinbo, and Xionghuang, grind the rest into fine powder. Mix uniformly with the separately ground medicines. Use refined honey and jujube paste to form pills. Each liang of powder makes ten pills, coated with gold leaf. Take one pill per dose, dissolved in warm water, taken after meals. For pediatric fright-epilepsy, adjust the amount accordingly, dissolve and take with warm bamboo leaf water.
*Taiyiju Fang* Wufu Huadu Dan (Five Blessings Detoxifying Pill): Treats pediatric accumulation of toxic heat, fright and agitation, mania, red cheeks and dry throat, mouth and tongue ulcers, restless sleep at night, delirium and thirst, and sores/boils on the head, face, and body.
Scrophularia Root (Yuanshen), washed and baked; Platycodon Root (Jiegeng), each six taels; Poria (Fuling), skin removed, five taels; Ginseng (Renshen), radicle removed; Natrii Sulfas (Yanxiao), calcined; Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai), ground; each two taels; Licorice Root (Gancao), chopped and stir-fried, one liang half; Moschus (Shexiang), ground, half qian; Gold and Silver Leaf (Jinyinbo), eight pieces each, for coating.
Grind into fine powder, mix with ground ingredients, form pills with refined honey. Each liang of powder makes twelve pills. One pill per year of age, divided into four doses, dissolved in mint water. For residual toxicity attacking upwards after chickenpox/smallpox, causing bleeding gums and foul odor: dissolve one pill in fresh Rehmannia Juice (Sheng Dihuang Ziran Zhi) and apply inside the mouth with a chicken feather. For heat-Gan syndrome with emaciation and night blindness: dissolve in fermented millet water, take after meals before bed.
*Taiyiju Fang* Chensha Jinbo San (Cinnabar Gold Leaf Powder): Treats pediatric heart-diaphragm pathogenic heat, restless spirit, fright with thirst, mental confusion and palpitations, restless sleep, delirium, teeth grinding, phlegm-constipation cough, and throat/diaphragm obstruction.
Cinnabar (Chensha), levigated, seventy taels; Platycodon Root (Jiegeng), fifty taels; Gold Leaf (Jinbo), 200 pieces (added to medicine); Ginseng (Renshen), radicle removed; Poria (Fuling), skin removed; Natrii Sulfas (Yanxiao), calcined and ground; each thirty taels; Concha Meretricis et Cydoniae (Gafen), levigated, eighty taels; Licorice Root (Gancao), honey-fried and chopped, twenty-five taels; Fresh Borneol (Sheng Naozi), two taels, ground.
Grind into fine powder. For one-year-old children, take half qian per dose, mixed with thin flower tea water. For infants under 100 days old with internal heat, unstable sleep, and constipation: take one "zi" measure mixed with honey water, adjusting according to size. For adults and children with sore throat and mouth ulcers: sprinkle a small amount on the affected area and swallow saliva for immediate effect. For adult diaphragm heat: take one qian per dose, mixed with fresh water, after meals before bed.
*Taiyiju Fang* Niuhuang Gao (Calculus Bovis Ointment/Paste): Treats fright and transforms phlegm-fluid, cools the diaphragm and calms the Heart, dispels pathogenic heat, and stops phlegm-cough.
Ginseng (Renshen), stem removed, twenty-five taels; Licorice Root (Gancao), honey-fried, fifty taels; Natrii Sulfas (Yanxiao), ground and calcined, ten taels; Realgar (Xionghuang), levigated, seventy-five taels; Concha Meretricis et Cydoniae (Gafen), levigated, two hundred taels; Cinnabar (Zhusha), levigated, ten taels; Fresh Borneol (Sheng Longnao), four taels, ground; Gold Leaf and Silver Leaf (Jinyinbo), two hundred pieces each, for coating.
Grind into fine powder, mix with refined honey. Each liang eight qian makes twenty pills, coated with gold and silver leaf. For one-year-old children, take the size of a mung bean per dose. Dissolve in warm mint water. Adjust according to age, take after meals.
*Taiyiju Fang* Huqing Wan (Tiger Eye Pill): Treats pediatric wind-stroke with high fever, phlegm-fluid obstruction, mental dullness, excessive sleep with fright crying or convulsions, and fixed gaze.
Cinnabar (Zhusha), levigated, two taels; Moschus (Shexiang), ground; Arisaema Rhizome (Tian Nanxing), processed; Typhonium Rhizome (Baifuzi), processed; each three taels; Tianshangzi (Tianshangzi), lightly fried, 140 pieces; Achyranthes Bidentata Fruit (Shijunzi), 100 pieces; Picrorhiza Rhizome (Huhuanglian); Gastrodia Rhizome (Tianma), stem removed and weighed; Spirit-calming Poria (Fushen), heart wood removed; Calomel (Nifen), ground; Himalayan Beechwood Honeydew (Tianzhuhuang), ground; each five taels; Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai), seven taels, ground.
Grind into fine powder, bind with wheat flour paste into pills the size of Chinese walnut seeds. One pill per year of age, dissolved in mint tea water. Adjust according to deficiency/excess, take after milk/food.
*Taiyiju Fang* Jinfeng Zhizhi, Nighttime Fright Crying, Saliva Heat Phlegm-Cough. Jinbo Zhenxin Wan (Gold Leaf Calming Heart Pill)
Placenta Humanalis (Ziheche), two taels half; Ginseng (Renshen); Poria (Fuling); Licorice Root (Gancao), chopped and honey-fried; each five taels; Yam (Shanyao), fifteen taels; Cinnabar (Zhusha), levigated, ten taels; Natrii Sulfas (Yanxiao), one liang half; Gold Leaf (Jinbo), twenty pieces; Fresh Borneol (Sheng Nao), one liang; Moschus (Shexiang), half liang.
Grind into powder, form pills the size of a cocklebur with refined honey, coat with gold leaf. Take half a pill per dose, dissolved in mint water.
*Tan Shi Shusheng Fang* Treats pediatric phlegm-fluid and fright-heat.
Calcitrum (Han Shuishí); Talcum (Huashi); Licorice Root (Gancao), honey-fried.
Equal parts, grind into powder. Take one "zi" measure per dose, dissolved in mint tea water.
*Yingru Fang* Treats pediatric fright-heat about to manifest as rash. Xiaore Dingjing Jian (Heat-Reducing Fright-Calming Decoction)
Bupleurum Root (Chaihu), ten parts; Calcitrum (Han Shuishí), twelve parts; Cimicifuga Rhizome (Shengma); Gardenia Fruit (Zhizi Ren); Peony Root (Shaoyao), each seven parts; Scutellaria Root (Ziqin); Anemarrhena Rhizome (Zhimu), each eight parts; Bamboo Leaf (Zhuye), one sheng, chopped; Apricot Seed (Xingren), six parts, skin and tip removed, fried; Uncaria Ramulus cum Uncis (Goutengpi); Licorice Root (Gancao), honey-fried, each two parts; Fresh Kudzu Juice (Sheng Gezhi), three he; Honey (Mi), four parts.
Add four sheng seven he of water, decoct to obtain one sheng half. Remove residue, add honey and kudzu juice. Simmer slowly on low heat, stirring constantly, until one sheng two he remains. Children aged one to two years take two he, twice daily, once at night. Avoid overdose in winter and summer.
Qian Yi treats Liver external wind-pathogen invasion, yawning and irritability, hot breath in mouth. Should be dispersed; use Daqing Gao Formula.
Gastrodia Rhizome Powder (Tianma Mo), one fen; Typhonium Rhizome Powder (Baifuzi Mo), one qian half, raw; Scorpion Tail (Xiewei), venom removed, raw; Black Snake Tip Meat (Wushe Shaorou), wine-soaked, dried, powdered; each half qian; Cinnabar (Zhusha), ground; Moschus (Shexiang); Himalayan Beechwood Honeydew (Tianzhuhuang), ground; each one "zi bi" (measure lifted by a spoon). Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai), one qian, ground.
Grind together again until fine, mix with raw honey to form ointment. Take half to one soap-bean size per dose. For one-month-old infants, the size of a rice grain. Mix with Niuhuang Gao and dissolve in warm mint water. For children over five years old, take with Ganlu San. (See Niuhuang formula below.)
Qian Yi Yulu San (also known as Ganlu San)
Calcitrum (Han Shuishí): Soft, slightly green-black, with fine lines is good. Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao): Hard, white, with wall-like texture, cannot be broken by hand is good. If unavailable, substitute with Magnesii Sulfas (Fangjieshi): Hard, white, breaks into square fragments when struck with gypsum. Each half tael. Licorice Root (Gancao), raw, one qian.
Grind together into fine powder. Take one "zi" or half qian to one qian per dose, mixed with warm water after meals.
Qian Yi treats fright-heat with upward staring and teeth grinding. Daochi San Formula.
Dried Rehmannia Root (Shenggan Dihuang), baked and weighed; Akebia Caulis (Mutong); Licorice Root (Gancao), honey-fried. Equal parts.
Grind into powder. Take three qian per dose, with one cup of water, add bamboo leaves, decoct to half portion, take warm after meals. (Another version uses Huangqin instead of Gancao.)
Qian Yi treats Liver heat, picking at clothes/collars and fidgeting. Xieqing Wan governs. High fever, drinking water, wheezing and oppression. Xiebai San governs (See Xiebai San formula in Wheezing/Cough section).
Xieqing Wan Formula
Angelica Sinensis (Danggui), radicle removed, sliced, baked, weighed; Gentiana Root (Longdan), baked, weighed; Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong); Gardenia Fruit (Shanzhizi Ren); Rhubarb (Dahuang), wrapped in wet paper and baked; Notopterygium Rhizome (Qianghuo); Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng), radicle removed, sliced, baked, weighed.
Equal parts, grind into powder, bind with refined honey into pills the size of a cocklebur. Take half to one pill per dose, dissolve in bamboo leaf decoction with brown sugar and warm water.
Qian Yi Niuhuang Gao treats fright-heat.
Realgar (Xionghuang), date-sized, boiled in water from single-stem Portulaca root and vinegar until liquid evaporates; Licorice Powder (Gancaomo); Sweet Nitre (Tianxiao), each three qian; Cinnabar (Zhusha), half qian bi; Borneol (Longnao), one zi bi; Calcitrum (Han Shuishí), finely ground, five qian bi.

Qian Yi Wufu Huadu Dan treats fright-heat, cools Heart and Spleen.
Raw and Prepared Rehmannia Root (Shengshu Dihuang), baked, weighed; each five taels; Scrophularia Root (Yuanshen); Asparagus Tuber (Tianmendong), heart removed; Ophiopogon Tuber (Mendong), heart removed, baked, weighed; each three taels; Licorice Root (Gancao), honey-fried; Sweet Nitre (Tianxiao), each two taels; Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai), one liang half.
Grind the eight ingredients into fine powder, then grind in Nitre and Indigo. Form pills with refined honey the size of a cocklebur. Take half or one pill per dose, dissolve in water after meals.
Qian Yi Ruanjindan treats fright-heat, abundant phlegm causing cough and diaphragm fullness.
Himalayan Beechwood Honeydew (Tianzhuhuang); Calomel (Qingfen), each two taels; Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai), one fen; Black Morning Glory Seed (Hei Qianniu), one seed, powdered; Pinellia Tuber (Banxia), use three qian fresh ginger, pound into flour, bake dry, grind to fine powder; each three fen.

Sweet Nitre (Tianxiao), white; Ginseng (Renshen), cut, radicle removed, powdered; Cinnabar (Zhusha), each one liang; Licorice Root (Gancao), honey-fried, powdered; Calcitrum (Han Shuishí), calcined; each one liang half; Dried Yam (Ganshan Yao), white; Poria (Baifuling), each two taels; Borneol (Longnao); Moschus (Shexiang), ground together with previous Borneol; each one qian.
Grind into fine powder, form pills the size of a cocklebur with cooked honey. To make red, add two qian of rouge (Hongzi). Dissolve half to one or two pills in warm water, take after meals.
*Liang Fang* Pediatric diseases caused by fright result in stagnant Heart Qi, leading to phlegm-fluid formation and severe illness. Regular intake promotes Small Intestine function and clears Heart heat. If children have little fright-phlegm from youth, fright will not cause disease. Hanshui Shigao (Calcitrum and Gypsum)
Calcitrum (Han Shuishí), two taels; Talcum (Huashi), ground in water like rice wash, skim off fine particles, drain dry, grind again until silent, two taels; Licorice Powder (Gancaomo), one liang.
Adjust according to child's size. In hot months, take with cold water; in cold months, take with warm water. For any fright causing Heart heat and inability to sleep peacefully, give one dose. Adding Borneol is better.
*Liang Fang* Treats pediatric fright-heat, excess saliva, body heat, phlegm-malaria, chronic dysentery, vomiting milk, afternoon fever, fright-epilepsy, etc. Chen Sha Wan (Cinnabar Pill)
Cinnabar (Chensha); Frost Powder (Fenshuang); Calomel (Nifen), each one fen; Fresh Borneol (Sheng Longnao), one qian.
Bind with soft glutinous rice into pills the size of mung beans. One pill for one-year-olds, taken with Licorice Decoction. Adults take seven pills.
*Wanquan Fang* Treats pediatric excess blood/vessels, alternating chills and fever, limb convulsions, high fever with severe vomiting. If the child can eat solid food but digestion is poor, high fever persists despite developmental fevers (bianzheng), wind-stroke, ke-wu alien qi, and various epilepsies: all should take Longdan San Formula.
Gentiana Root (Longdan), radicle removed; Uncaria Ramulus (Gouteng); Bupleurum Root (Chaihu), pubescence removed; Licorice Root (Gancao), lightly fried; Red Poria (Chifuling); Scutellaria Root (Huangqin); Platycodon Root (Jiegeng); Red Peony Root (Chishaoyao); Rhubarb (Dahuang), chopped and stir-fried. Each one fen.
Pound and sieve into powder. Take one qian per dose, with one small cup of water, decoct to half portion, take warm.
*Wanquan Fang* Treats severe pediatric fright-heat. Yujin San (Curcuma Powder)
Curcuma Root (Yujin); Himalayan Beechwood Honeydew (Tianzhuhuang); Horse Tooth Nitre (Mayaxiao); Lead Frost (Qianshuang), each half tael; Borneol (Longnao), one fen.
Pound and sieve into powder. Take half qian per dose, mixed with hot water.
*Huiyan Guanzheng* Niuhuang San greatly resolves fright-heat.
Curcuma Root (Yujin), half tael, soaked in soap pod water; Natrii Sulfas (Yanxiao); Licorice Root (Gancao), honey-fried; Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), each one fen; Realgar (Xionghuang), one qian, boiled in rice vinegar, separately ground; Borneol (Longnao); Moschus (Shexiang), each a small amount.
Grind into powder. Take five fen per dose, mixed with cooked water.
*Huiyan Guanzheng* Zhusha Gao (Cinnabar Paste) treats infants in swaddling clothes who, after wind-stroke, have residual rattling phlegm. Also treats newborns with goose-mouth (thrush) and double tongue, Heart heat with nighttime crying, convulsions upon onset, stiff neck and back, phlegm-fluid obstruction with eyes rolling up, unpredictable movements.
Cinnabar (Zhusha), good quality, separately ground; Borax (Pengsha), levigated, ground; each half tael; Licorice Root (Gancao), honey-fried, one fen; Natrii Sulfas (Yanxiao), one liang half, calcined, part raw, separately ground; Moschus (Shexiang), ground; Borneol (Longnao), ground; each one "zi".
First grind Cinnabar 400-500 times, then grind Borax similarly. Add other herbs and grind again. Then grind Borneol, add to herb powders, mix with dripping water, and grind into paste. Spread overnight on oil-paper. Take soap-bean size per dose, adjust as needed. If phlegm rattles persist, dissolve in egg white. Regularly take Licorice Decoction.
*Liu Shi Jia Chuan Fang* Wind-stroke with hot phlegm-fluid, blockage front and back.
Rhubarb (Dahuang), two qian; Licorice Root (Gancao); Natrii Sulfas (Yanxiao), each one fen.
Freshly chopped into coarse powder. Take half qian per dose, with half cup of water, add a little honey, decoct to half portion, remove residue, take cold. Adding Borneol and Moschus is excellent.
*Liu Shi Jia Chuan Fang* Tianzhuhuang San treats wind-stroke heat.
Himalayan Beechwood Honeydew (Tianzhuhuang); Curcuma Root (Yujin); Gardenia Fruit (Shanzhizi); White Silkworm (Bai Jiangcan); Cicada Slough (Chantui); Licorice Root (Gancao).
Equal parts, used raw, dried in sun and powdered. Take half qian or one "zi" measure, mixed with cold raw water or cooked water. Adjust according to child's size.
*Liu Shi Jia Chuan Fang* Zhenxin Wan treats wind-stroke heat accumulation, fright-diarrhea with phlegm-fluid, obstructive cough, effectively reduces high fever, expels foul phlegm.
Cinnabar (Zhusha), ground; Realgar (Xionghuang), transparent, ground; each one qian; Dried Scorpion (Ganxie), whole, seven pieces, raw, powdered; Borneol and Moschus (Nao She), each half zi; Croton Seed (Badou), seven grains, shelled, ground, pressed between paper to remove oil until it becomes frost, mix evenly with other herbs, remove oil, take twelve characters' worth (approximate weight).
Grind uniformly, bind with white water starch into millet-sized pills, dry in shade. One pill for one-year-olds, two for two-year-olds, three for three-year-olds, following the number of years of age. Take with decoction of Honeysuckle and Mint. Regularly take two pills, at any time.
*Liu Shi Jia Chuan Fang* Ejiao Wan treats upper-jiao wind obstruction, dry and painful throat. Calms Heart, expels pathogenic qi, transforms phlegm-fluid, resolves exogenous cold irritant heat, combined with pediatric fright-phlegm and five types of tidal fever.
