According to *Chao's Source of Diseases* (Niao Shi Bing Yuan) regarding the condition of "Wang Zhuo Malignant Ulcers" in children: Heat within the Zang-Fu organs steams and scorches the skin, while external dampness invades, leading to the generation of sores. If heat is predominant, the eruption of the sores will be vigorous; initially appearing like hemp seeds, they rapidly enlarge, exuding fluid and ulcerating, resembling burns from boiling water or fire. Hence, it is named "Wang Zhuo Sore" (Royal Scalding Sore), also known as "Wang Lan Sore" (Royal Rotting Sore), and due to phonetic corruption, it is referred to as "Huang Lan Sore" (Yellow Rotting Sore).
The *Ben Cao* records a prescription for treating yellow rotting sores in children.
Take the root of Ocimum basilicum (Luo Le), burn it to ash, and apply externally for optimal results.
The *Yao Xing Lun* records a prescription for acute yellow rotting sores in children.
Use the juice of Vigna angularis (Chi Xiao Dou) to wash the affected area with cold liquid; recovery occurs within three applications, and it promotes appetite.
The *Qian Jin Fang* records a prescription for treating yellow rotting sores in children.
Soil from the intersection of four paths (Si Jiao Dao Zhong Tu); Ash from under the stove (Zao Xia Tu).
Grind equal parts of these two ingredients into fine powder and apply to the sore. This formula also treats night crying (Ye Ti).
Another prescription from the *Qian Jin Fang*:
Burn mugwort (Ai Ye) to ash and apply to the affected area. The *Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* suggests that if the sore is dry, mix mugwort ash with raw oil for application.
Another prescription from the *Qian Jin Fang*:
Burn cow dung (Niu Shi) to ash and apply. It can also eliminate scars.
The *Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* treats Wang Lan Sore in children, characterized by sores all over the body like hemp seeds, with pus, alternating pain and itching, and occasional high fever. Prescription for Chi Shao Yao San (Red Peony Powder):

Pound the above herbs, sift into a fine powder, mix with honey water, and apply. Apply three to four times daily until cured.
The *Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* treats Wang Lan Sore and malignant sores in children. Prescription for Shu Mi San (Millet Powder):
Shu Mi (Semen Milii); Zhu Xiao (Bamboo Shoots/Tubes) (equal parts).

The *Tai Ping Sheng Hui Fang* treats early-stage Wang Lan Sore in children, where color changes within one day, pus forms on the second day, or redness spreads at the edges. If pus covers the entire body, it is incurable. The condition resembles scalds from boiling water; use Huang Lian San (Coptis Powder) promptly:
Huang Lian (Rhizoma Coptidis) (powder); Hu Fen (Cerussa/Lead Carbonate) (each 1 liang).
Grind the above ingredients uniformly, mix with raw oil, and apply.
