Its efficacy lies in Zicaorong (Arnebia Flower Bud, *Lithospermi Flos*). Physicians often substitute it with Zicao (Arnebia Root, *Lithospermi Radix*), leading to inefficacy. Originally, Zicaorong is named Zimao, formed from resin condensation in ant nests of Qilinjie (Dragon's Blood, *Daemonorops Draco*). It not only invigorates blood and promotes swelling but also utilizes insect toxin to aggressively attack internal-depressed pathogens, without the risk of excessive cold-humidity causing diarrhea. Since Zimao's efficacy surpasses Zicao, it is named Zicaorong. They are actually different substances.
