附∶避犬法 凡行路遇恶犬，即以左手大拇指掏寅上，吹气一口，轮至戌上掏之，犬即退伏。（《琐碎 》）

壁虎咬伤 以清水淋壁上，注伤处自愈。（《简便方》）
虎咬伤：紧急时用猪肉贴敷伤口，随着肉贴上去就会融化，融化后随即更换新的，迅速取用地榆（一斤）研成细末，加入三七根末（三两）、苦参末（四两），根据伤口渗出液的情况随时撒布药粉，以止血定痛，即可痊愈。（《石室秘录》）

马咬伤：用鸡冠血涂抹伤口。如果是母马咬伤，用公鸡的血；如果是公马咬伤，用母鸡的血。（《肘后备急方》）

狐狸尿刺人，肿痛欲死：用麻鞋上的网绳（如枣大小）、妇女内衣上有血迹的部分（手掌大一片）、钩头棘针（十四枚），一起烧成灰，用猪脂调匀敷用，应当会有虫体排出。（《陈藏器本草》）
猪咬成疮：松脂炼制成饼状，贴敷在伤口上。（《千金方》）
犬咬伤：刮下旧屋瓦上的青苔屑，按压在伤口上即可止血止痛。（《邵真人经验方》）

普通犬咬伤：蓖麻子（五十粒）去壳，用井花水研磨成膏，先用盐水清洗伤痛处，然后贴敷。（《袖珍方》）
犬咬伤：地黄捣汁，用饭饼涂抹上百次，即可痊愈。（《百一方》）
另一方法，用床脚下的土，加水敷用，并灸七壮。（《本草拾遗》）
狂犬咬伤：取一块槐树白皮，放在伤口处，再用白面做成圈围住，里面填满人粪，盖上槐皮一块，用大艾炷灸十四五壮，等到热气透入，身上出汗即愈。（《胡臬台急救方》）
疯犬咬伤：这是九死一生的病症。应在无风处，用热小便冲洗挤出恶血，再用荔枝壳，或胡桃壳填满人粪，灸七八十壮，或一二百壮，以患者出臭汗、极度困倦为度。（《经验广集》）

Tiger Bite Injury: Urgently apply fresh pork to the wound. As the meat adheres, it will melt; replace it immediately upon melting. Quickly prepare fine powder from *Sanguisorbae Radix* (Diyu, 地榆) (one jin), add fine powder of *Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma* (Sanqi, 三七根) (three liang) and *Sophorae Flavescentis Radix* (Kushen, 苦参) (four liang). Sprinkle the powder onto the wound as needed according to exudation to stop bleeding and relieve pain, leading to recovery. (*Shishi Milu*)
Tiger Claw Injury: Mash mulberry bean leaves and apply as a poultice. If leaves are unavailable, soak dried mulberry beans in water until soft, mash them with the skin, and apply; this is also effective. (*Jishi Bianyi Ji*)
Monkey Scratch Injury: Roast *Cibotium Barometz* (Jinmao Gouji, 金毛狗脊), grind into powder, and sprinkle on the wound. Alternatively, mix with sesame oil for topical application, which also leads to recovery. (Ibid.)
Horse Bite Injury: Apply blood from a rooster's comb. For bites by a mare, use a hen's blood; for bites by a stallion, use a rooster's blood. (*Zhouhou Beiji Fang*)
Another prescription: Use cloth from a woman's menstruation or calcined *Ningpo Venerable White* (Renzhongbai, 人中白), grind into powder, and mix with lard for topical application. Alternatively, apply ash from burnt whip tips. (*Fengshi Jinnang*)
Horse Bite and Trampling Injury: Apply *Alumen* (Han Shui Shi, 寒水石) to the injured area; recovery occurs within ten days. (*Jiyan Fang*)
Swelling, Pain, and Heat from Horse Bite/Trample Wounds: Grind roasted powder of male rat feces (14 Hang-produced specimens) and old horse sheath (5 cun), mix with lard, and apply. (*Meishi Fang*)
Penetration of Horse Qi, Sweat, or Hair into Wound: These cause swelling, pain, irritability, and heat; if toxins enter the abdomen, it can be fatal. Apply raw *Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata* (Sheng Wutou, 生乌头) powder to the wound opening. After some time, when yellow fluid discharges, recovery ensues. (*Lingyuan Fang*)
Fox Urine Sting: Severe swelling and pain. Burn mesh ropes from hemp shoes (date-sized), stained parts of women's underwear (palm-sized), and hooked thorn needles (14 pieces) into ash. Mix with lard and apply; parasites are expected to emerge. (*Chen Cangqi Bencao*)
Pig Bite Swelling and Pain: Calcine *Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum* (Guiban, 龟板) into ash, mix with sesame oil, and apply. (*Yifang Jiangyao*)
Pig Bite Ulcer: Refine *Pini Resina* (Songzhi, 松脂) into cakes and apply to the wound. (*Qianjin Fang*)
Dog Bite Injury: Scrape moss from old roof tiles and press onto the wound to stop pain. (*Shao Zhenren Jingyan Fang*)
Severe Pain and Fainting from Dog Bite: Soak peppercorns in water, mix with *Polygala Tenuifolia* (Mangcao, 莽草) powder, and apply. (*Bianmin Tucuan*)
Domestic Dog Bite Injury: Endure the pain initially. Wash blood from the wound with river water. Scrape raw *Pantheris Os* (Sheng Hugu, 生虎骨) into powder and rub onto the bite site for recovery. Alternatively, scrape grease from butcher block boards, mix with sugar, and apply; this is effective. (*Jide Tang Fang*)
Common Dog Bite Injury: Shell 50 *Ricini Semen* (Bimazi, 蓖麻子), grind into paste using well water. First wash the painful area with salt water, then apply the paste. (*Xiuzhen Fang*)
Dog Bite Injury: Crush *Rehmanniae Radix* (Dihuang, 地黄) to extract juice. Apply using rice cake compresses repeatedly (up to 100 times) for recovery. (*Baiyi Fang*)
Another prescription: Mix soil from under the bed with water for topical application, followed by moxibustion (7 moxa cones). (*Bencao Shiyi*)
Rabid Dog Bite Injury: This is a critical condition with high mortality. In a windless place, flush out bad blood using hot urine. Fill the wound with human feces packed inside lychee shells or walnut shells. Perform moxibustion (70-80 cones, or 100-200 cones) until the patient sweats foully and feels extreme exhaustion. Another prescription: Grind *Leucodendron* (Wasong, 瓦松) and *Realgar* (Xionghuang, 雄黄), apply to the wound to prevent onset. (*Shengsheng Bian*)
Emergency Prescription for Dog Bites: For any vicious dog bite, if medicines are unavailable in haste, use *Baicaoshuang* (Baicaoshuang, 百草霜 - soot) mixed with sesame oil. Alternatively, apply mashed green onion, cow dung, earthworm dung, or chewed bitter almond paste. All can provide emergency relief. Delay may allow toxins to penetrate meridians, causing severe harm. Appendix: Method to Avoid Dogs: When encountering a vicious dog while walking, use the thumb of the left hand to press the Yin position (Northeast), blow air once, then move to the Xu position (Northwest) and press again; the dog will retreat. (*Suosui Lu*)
Cat Bite Injury: Apply mint juice; it is effective. (*Dai Yuanli Fang*)
Cat Bite Ulcer: Burn male rat feces to ash, mix with oil, and apply; previously verified effective. (*Shoyu Shenfang*)
