To treat Jiaochang Sha (a sudden acute syndrome characterized by severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea), use high-quality alum powder, mix with boiling water, and take orally.
Another prescription: If the abdominal pain is caused by Yin Sha with cold hands and feet and red spots on the body, dip rush grass in oil, ignite it, and apply moxibustion-like burning to the affected area; if it is Yang Sha, presenting with intestinal pain and warm hands and feet, prick the fingers near the nail beds to bleed approximately one-and-a-half fen (a traditional unit of measurement) of blood volume; symptoms will relieve once bleeding occurs. Prior to pricking, stroke downwards from both arms to gather the pathogenic blood at the fingertips, then prick to release the blood.
Another prescription: For unbearable pain due to Jiaochang Sha, use one liang (approx. 37g) of stir-fried salt, mix with hot water, and take orally. In critical cases, pour into the mouth; inducing vomiting or purging will stop the intestinal pain.
Another prescription: Dip hands in warm water and vigorously slap the areas with purple-black discoloration around the patient's knees and wrists, then prick with a needle to release pathogenic blood; recovery follows.
Another prescription: Mix fine wine with ginger juice and take warm.
To treat malignant qi in the heart and abdomen accompanied by spitting clear saliva, crush mugwort leaves (Artemisia argyi Herba) to extract juice and drink it. Alternatively, boil dried mugwort in water to extract juice and take orally.
Another prescription: To treat various cold qi, evil spirits, toxic vapors (referring to cold pathogens and unexplained toxic gases), mix mugwort leaves (Artemisia argyi Herba) and dried ginger (Zingiberis Rhizoma) powders into pills; take thirty pills per dose.
Another prescription: To treat abdominal pain with stagnant and malignant qi, stir-fry Galangal Rhizome (Alpiniae Officinarum Rhizoma) until charred, decoct with wine, and take orally; alternatively, grind black pepper (Piperis Nigrum Fructus) into powder, mix with wine, and take orally.
To treat abdominal distension and fullness, take a single-clove garlic bulb, roast until cooked, peel, wrap in cotton cloth, and insert into the anus; replace when cool. This method also treats Guan Ge (a severe condition characterized by obstruction preventing intake and discharge, with inability to urinate or defecate) and abdominal distension with complete urinary and fecal retention.
Another prescription: To treat abdominal pain caused by blood distension, decoct lotus leaf (Nelumbinis Folium) in wine and take orally.
Another prescription: Remove seeds, skin, and fibrous strands from Sophora Flavescens pod (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus), grind into fine powder, and form pills with honey the size of paulownia seeds. Take with meat broth; after purgation, abstain from meat for one day.
To treat hard masses like stones in the abdomen (Pi Ku), take branches from the southeast direction of the White Poplar tree (Populus alba Ramulus), remove the green bark, cut finely three jin (approx. 1.5kg), and simmer until charred. Place in a silk bag. Soak in one dou (approx. 10L) of wine, seal tightly for three to five days. Warm and take one zhan (approx. 200ml) before each meal.
Another prescription: To treat stone-hard masses in the abdomen causing stabbing pain like knife cuts, use Phytolacca Root (Phytolaccae Radix) in any quantity, crush, steam, wrap in new cloth, and apply as a hot compress to the painful area; replace when cool.
Another prescription: To treat Ascaris roundworms biting day and night causing unbearable abdominal pain, take two jin (approx. 1kg) of white bark from the Chinaberry tree (Meliae Cortex), remove coarse bark, cut into pieces, decoct in one dou (approx. 10L) of water until reduced to three sheng (approx. 600ml), strain dregs. Slowly simmer in a clay pot to form an ointment/paste. At dawn (Wu Geng period), take half a spoonful mixed with warm wine; continue until worms are expelled.
Another prescription: To treat the Three Worms (general term for internal parasites), crush peach leaves, wring out the juice, and take one zhan (approx. 200ml) on an empty stomach.
Another prescription: To treat Taenia solium (tapeworm/Inch-white worm), take a handful of sour pomegranate root (Granati Radicis Cortex), decoct strongly in water. If nausea occurs, chew some dried meat first, then take the pomegranate root juice; all worms will be expelled.
