金银花（八两），加水十余碗，煎煮至两碗。当归（三两）、地榆（一两）、薏苡仁（五钱），加水十余碗，煎煮至两碗。将上述药液与金银花汁混合均匀，分两次服用。上午服用一次，临睡前服用一次。服用两剂即可痊愈。凡是肠痈必须通过内服药物使其消散，而且火邪非常急迫，绝非少量饮水所能救治，必须使用大剂量药物才能见效。但是大剂量使用败毒药物，恐怕会损伤元气，只有金银花既能败毒又能补益正气。
生于大腿根部外侧的疽疮，如果伴有骨骼病变。

全蝎（炒制）、核桃肉，炒至等分，研成细末。用酒调服二钱。空腹、午后、傍晚时分各服用一次，即可痊愈。

Treats large intestine abscess (Da Chang Yong) and small intestine abscess (Xiao Chang Yong). One dose is sufficient to dissipate the condition; a second dose is unnecessary.
*Di Yu* (Radix Sanguisorbae, 1 jin):
Decoct with ten bowls of water until reduced to three bowls. Then add fresh *Jin Yin Hua* (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae, 2 liang) and *Gan Cao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 2 liang), decoct together until one bowl remains, and take orally.
Treats large intestine abscess and small intestine abscess.
*Jin Yin Hua* (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae, 8 liang): Decoct with more than ten bowls of water until two bowls remain.
*Dang Gui* (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 3 liang), *Di Yu* (Radix Sanguisorbae, 1 liang), *Yi Yi Ren* (Semen Coicis, 5 qian): Decoct with more than ten bowls of water until two bowls remain.
Mix the above decoction evenly with the juice of *Jin Yin Hua*. Divide into two doses: take one in the morning and one before bedtime. Two doses will result in recovery.
Generally, intestinal abscess must be dissipated internally. Since the fire pathogen is extremely urgent, it cannot be saved by a cup of water; only a large dosage can be effective. However, using large dosages of detoxifying herbs may damage the primordial Qi (Yuan Qi). Only *Jin Yin Hua* (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae) can detoxify while simultaneously tonifying healthy Qi.
For carbuncle (Ju) occurring on the outer side of the upper thigh, especially when bone involvement is present.
*Fu Ling* (Poria, 1 liang), *Zi Hua Di Ding* (Herba Violae, 1 liang), *Jin Yin Hua* (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae, 3 liang), *Niu Xi* (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, 5 qian).
Decoct with water and take on an empty stomach. Bone lesions will dissipate after three doses, and full recovery occurs after five doses.
Treats "Riding Abscess" (Ma Qi Du). (Located centrally between the scrotum and anus).
At the initial stage, use *Gan Cao* (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 5 qian), one bowl of wine, and one bowl of water. Decoct and take orally for immediate recovery.
*Jin Yin Hua* (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae, 8 liang, decocted to obtain two large bowls of liquid), *Da Huang* (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, 1 liang), *Niu Xi* (Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae, 2 qian), *Che Qian Zi* (Semen Plantaginis, 5 qian), *Dang Gui* (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 1 liang), *Sheng Gan* (Raw *Gan Cao*, Radix Glycyrrhizae, amount unspecified but implied as part of the six herbs).
Use the previously prepared *Jin Yin Hua* liquid to decoct the latter six herbs. Take on an empty stomach. After taking the medicine, drink wine until intoxicated. Upon waking, symptoms will seem to have vanished. Mild diarrhea after one day indicates recovery. (Avoid sexual intercourse).
Divine prescription for treating perianal abscess swelling (Bian Du).
Quanshe (Scorpio, stir-fried) and Walnut Meat (He Tao Rou, stir-fried) in equal proportions, ground into powder. Mix with wine and take 2 qian. Take three times: on an empty stomach, in the afternoon, and at dusk. Recovery follows immediately.
Boil Niu Pi Jiao (Colla Corii Asini, Donkey-hide Gelatin) with good rice vinegar. Apply hot compress to the affected area for immediate recovery.
Treats intestinal abscess and perianal abscess. Dissipates at the onset; if already swollen, it will suppurate, and blood will be discharged from the stool.
*Da Huang* (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, 3 qian), *Chi Shao* (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), *Bai Zhi* (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Mu Bie Zi (Semen Momordicae, shell removed), Ru Xiang (Resina Acaciae Catharticae, processed with heat), Mo Yao (Resina Boswelliae, processed with heat), Jiao Ci (Spina Gleditsiae Sinensis), Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus), Gua Lou Hua Fen (Semen Trichosanthis).
*Jin Yin Hua* (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae, 3 qian): Decoct with wine and water, take on an empty stomach. If red spots are present, add Mang Xiao (Natrii Sulfas, 8 fen). Avoid wind exposure after taking the medicine.
