上为末，每服二钱，食后煎腊茶吞下。
诗曰 太阴属土主脾元，积热传脾胃被缠，
上下眼皮浮又赤，偷针为患古今传。
气轮属金，在脏为肺，在眼为白睛也。
问曰∶气轮如何得病？答曰∶凌霜冒雪，或受饥寒，肌体稍虚，邪毒内攻，或
肿或昏，赤筋隐涩，视太阳如隔雾；睹人物似疑烟。日久不治，变成障翳也。问曰∶
如何治？答曰∶按本草对证当治肺毒，多生白膜、青筋赤筋也，宜服蒺藜散。
白蒺藜（炒，去刺） 川芎 当归 羌活 海蛤（蜜炙） 荆芥穗
各等分为末，每服二钱，茶清或米泔调下
诗曰 肺脏停留冷热停，两睛不觉涩沉沉，
但将凉药调卫荣，毋使昏沉似血形。
水轮属水，在脏为肾，在眼为瞳人也。
问曰∶水轮如何得病？答曰∶久饮久坐，色欲无厌，大喜伤神，大怒损志。爱
食酒面五辛，有伤肾经，侵于黑光，致令冷泪倾流。风虚内作或肿或疼，结成
翳障，多涩昏也。问曰∶如何治？答曰∶按本草对证当理肾经，乃肾虚败攻水轮，
常多昏暗，视物久则黑花生也，宜服枸杞子丸。
枸杞子（二两） 黑附子（一两，炒） 五味子（二两） 蝉蜕（去头足，一两） 全蝎（七个，不炒）
苍术（一两两钱，米泔水浸）
上为细末，蜜为丸，每服三十丸，米汤或盐汤送下。

只因色重伤元气，冷药休餐疾不瘥。
问曰∶眼有五轮者何也？答曰∶眼有风轮、血轮、肉轮、气轮、水轮，所以名为五轮也。

问：气轮是如何得病的？答：遭受霜雪侵袭，或忍受饥寒，身体稍显虚弱，邪毒向内攻伐，导致或肿胀或昏花，赤色筋脉隐现且干涩，看太阳如同隔着雾；看人物好似疑心有烟。日久不治疗，会变成障翳（角膜混浊或白内障等）。问：如何治疗？答：按照本草对证应当治疗肺毒，多生白膜、青筋赤筋，适宜服用蒺藜散。

问：水轮是如何得病的？答：长期饮酒久坐，性欲无节制，大喜伤神，大怒损志。喜爱食用酒面及五辛（葱、蒜、韭、薤、兴渠），损伤肾经，侵犯黑光（瞳孔及晶状体区域），导致冷泪倾流。风虚内生或肿胀或疼痛，结成翳障，多伴有干涩昏花。问：如何治疗？答：按照本草对证应当调理肾经，这是肾虚败坏攻冲水轮，常常昏暗，视物久了则出现黑花（飞蚊症），适宜服用枸杞子丸。

只因色欲过重损伤元气，冷药请勿进食否则疾病难愈。
问：眼睛有五轮是怎么回事？答：眼睛有风轮、血轮、肉轮、气轮、水轮，所以称为五轮。
Coix Seed (1 liang), Licorice Root, White Poria (1 liang), Argo Shell (1 liang), Rhubarb and Black Morning Glory Seed (each 5 qian).
Grind the above into powder. Take 2 qian each time, swallowed with brewed winter tea after meals.
The poem says: The Taiyin channel belongs to Earth and governs the Spleen's origin; accumulated heat transmits to the Spleen and Stomach, entangling them. The upper and lower eyelids are swollen and red; the affliction of Touzhen (Hordeolum) has been transmitted since ancient times.
The Qi Wheel belongs to Metal, corresponds to the Lung in the Zang organs, and manifests as the Baijing (Sclera) in the eye.
Question: How does the Qi Wheel become diseased? Answer: Exposed to frost and snow, or subjected to hunger and cold, when the body is slightly deficient, pathogenic toxins attack internally, causing swelling or blurriness, with hidden red vessels and astringency. Looking at the sun seems like looking through fog; viewing objects seems like suspecting smoke. If untreated for a long time, it transforms into cataracts/opacities. Question: How to treat it? Answer: According to Materia Medica, treating according to symptoms should address Lung toxicity, which often produces white membranes, green veins, and red veins. It is suitable to take Jili San.
White Tribulus (stir-fried, thorns removed), Ligusticum Chuanxiong, Angelica Sinensis, Notopterygium Root, Clam Shell (honey-fried), Schizonepeta Spike.
Grind equal parts into powder. Take 2 qian each time, mixed with clear tea water or rice washing water.
The poem says: Cold and heat stagnate in the Lung organ, both eyes feel astringent and heavy without notice. Simply use cooling herbs to harmonize Ying and Wei, do not let blurriness resemble blood stasis form.
The Water Wheel belongs to Water, corresponds to the Kidney in the Zang organs, and manifests as the Tongren (Pupil) in the eye.
Question: How does the Water Wheel become diseased? Answer: Long-term drinking and sitting, insatiable sexual desire, excessive joy damages Shen (Spirit), excessive anger harms Zhi (Will). Loving to eat wine, noodles, and the Five Pungent Spices injures the Kidney meridian, invading the Heiguang (Black Light/Pupil area), causing cold tears to flow profusely. Internal wind deficiency causes swelling or pain, forming opacities, often accompanied by astringency and blurriness. Question: How to treat it? Answer: According to Materia Medica, treating according to symptoms should regulate the Kidney meridian. This is Kidney deficiency attacking the Water Wheel, often resulting in dimness, and seeing black flowers after prolonged vision. It is suitable to take Gouqi Zi Wan.
Goji Berry (2 liang), Black Aconite Root (1 liang, stir-fried), Schisandra Fruit (2 liang), Cicada Slough (heads and feet removed, 1 liang), Whole Scorpion (7 pieces, not stir-fried).
Atractylodes Macrocephala (1 liang 2 qian, soaked in rice washing water).
Grind the above into fine powder, make pills with honey. Take 30 pills each time, delivered with rice soup or salted water.
The poem says: Due to Kidney reasons, thief pathogens invade; lifestyle and eye issues mainly generate visual spots. Merely because excessive sexual activity damages Yuan Qi, do not consume cold medicines, or the disease will not heal.
Question: What are the Five Wheels of the eye? Answer: The eye has the Wind Wheel, Blood Wheel, Flesh Wheel, Qi Wheel, and Water Wheel, hence named the Five Wheels.
