Place vinegar and rice washing water in a clay pot. Heat stones until red-hot and drop them in until boiling. Repeat heating stones and dropping them in. When slightly warm, immerse the breast. When cold, heat more stones and immerse again.

Grind Lu Jiao (Cervi Cornu) into fine powder. Take the clarified upper layer of Zhu Zhi (Porcine Adipose Tissue). Administer one cunbi (approx. 2-3 grams) per dose. Do not exceed two doses. Do not take with plain water.

Not exceeding two doses yields miraculous results. Can also be taken with vinegar-rice water. The Jiyan Fang uses Ju Xiang San (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Powder, also known as Chenpi) to treat breast abscess before knotting (causes resolution) or after knotting (causes suppuration). For unbearable pain, pain ceases upon administration. Chen Pi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) soaked in water, white pith removed, dried, stir-fried with flour until slightly yellow, ground to fine powder. She Xiang (Moschus) ground separately. Mix with wine, two qian per dose. Effective at first sign of redness, swelling, and pain.
Yi Zui Gao (One Drunken Paste) (From *Daquan Liangfang*) treats milk abscess.
Shi Gao (Gypsum Fibrosum) in any amount, fired until red-hot. Remove from ground, cover with a bowl to eliminate fire toxicity. Grind finely. Take three qian per dose with warm wine. Add wine until drunk. Sleep.

Pound Furong Hua (Hibisci Mutabilis Flos) into a paste. If flowers are unavailable, use the inner tender white bark of the root. Scrape off the rough outer bark with a bamboo knife, then grind the inner layer into a paste.

Take one handful of Zhangxianzhang Cao (Opuntia Milleri), good wine lees, and ginger slices. Pound together until mushy. Add a little Gui Mo (Cinnamomi Ramulus Pulvis), stir-fry, take with wine, and apply the dregs to the swelling. Pain stops immediately.

Xiaomai Mian (Triticum Vulgare Farina) (From *Zhouhou Fang*) treats persistent breast abscess in women.
Stir-fry half a jin of white flour until yellow. Boil with vinegar to make a paste. Apply to the breast to reduce swelling.
