Ziwan Yinzi (Decoction of Aster Root) [from *Shenghui Fang*] treats cough and急促 breathing (rapid, shortness of breath) caused by Cold Damage (Shanghan) during the sixth or seventh month of pregnancy.

Congbai Ciji Tang (Chicken Soup with Scallion White) [from *Shenghui Fang*] treats sudden fright and agitation at the seventh month of pregnancy, causing abdominal pain, sudden vaginal bleeding, and cold extremities. If accompanied by vexatious heat from Cold Damage, abdominal fullness, shortness of breath, and frequent stiffness and rigidity of the neck, back, and waist, this formula governs all these conditions.
Scallion White (Cong Bai), fourteen stems; Pinellia Tuber (Ban Xia) (soaked in boiling water seven times to remove slipperiness); Astragalus Root (Huang Qi), Scutellaria Root (Huang Qin), Ginseng Root (Ren Shen) (remove rhizome, each one tael); Fresh Ginger (Sheng Jiang); Donkey-hide Gelatin (E Jiao) (crushed and roasted until yellow and dry, each two taels); Licorice Root (Gan Cao) (honey-fried until slightly red); Inula Flower (Xuan Fu Hua) (each half tael). The above are finely chopped. First, take one hen, prepare it according to culinary methods. Boil the chicken in ten dou of water first, obtain five sheng of broth, remove the chicken meat, add the herbs, boil down to three sheng, add two sheng of wine, boil again until four sheng remain, remove dregs. Take one small bowl warm before meals.
Banxia Yinzi (Decoction of Pinellia Tuber) [from *Shenghui Fang*] treats the eighth or seventh month of pregnancy where fright or vexatious heat from Cold Damage causes abdominal distension, rapid breathing, and heavy sensation in the lower back.
Pinellia Tuber (Ban Xia) (soaked in boiling water seven times to remove slipperiness); Astragalus Root (Huang Qi), Ginseng Root (Ren Shen) (remove rhizome); Ophiopogon Tuber (Mai Men Dong) (remove heart, each one tael); Scutellaria Root (Huang Qin) (chopped); Licorice Root (Gan Cao) (honey-fried until slightly red, each half tael). The above are finely chopped and mixed evenly. Each dose is half tael, boiled in one large bowl of water with half a fen of Fresh Ginger (Sheng Jiang) and seven cun of Scallion White (Cong Bai), boil down to five parts, remove dregs.
Danggui San (Powder of Angelica Sinensis) [from *Shenghui Fang*] treats the eighth or ninth month of pregnancy where accidental injury to the fetus or fetal restlessness causes abdominal pain and continuous vaginal bleeding. The life or death of the fetus is unknown; however, for any abdominal pain during pregnancy or leakage of the amniotic sac, this is applicable.
Angelica Sinensis Root (Dang Gui) (chopped and lightly stir-fried); Ligusticum Rhizome (Chuan Xiong); Taxillus Stem (Sang Ji Sheng); Mugwort Leaf (Ai Ye) (lightly stir-fried, each one tael); Donkey-hide Gelatin (E Jiao) (two taels, crushed and roasted until yellow and dry). The above are made into powder. Each dose is four qian, boiled in one large bowl of water down to five parts, remove dregs, add one he of wine, boil for three boils. Take warm at any time.
Chishizhi San (Powder of Halloysitum Rubrum) [from *Shenghui Fang*] treats the eighth or ninth month of pregnancy where fetal movement occurs, intermittent vaginal bleeding, stabbing abdominal pain, high fever on the head and face, dry mouth, cold hands and feet, and qi rushing upward causing chest oppression.
