生姜十片。加水煎煮至剩余七分药液。滤去药渣，温服。此方治疗中风导致的牙关紧闭、完全不能说话、左侧肢体瘫痪右侧肢体废用、口眼歪斜、半身不遂、手足顽固性麻木、各种风痰发作、头目眩晕等症状，均有疗效。如果气机不和，加木香二钱半；感觉头部像有虫子爬行一样的，加全蝎一钱；头晕且疼痛的，加天麻半两。煎药临熟时，加入少许麝香。此方名为三奇汤。
资寿方的用法：使用附子、天南星各一枚（重量在八钱以上的重用）。将药材生用，去皮和脐部，切碎。用水四升，生姜三十片，共同煎煮。待水量减半时，滤去药渣，用药汁调服药末。药末由蝎梢、白僵蚕（炒黄后去除丝和嘴）组成，各三钱，研为细末。分三次服用。此方治疗中风导致的言语涩滞、痰涎壅盛、四肢无法抬起。
另一种用法：使用附子一个，羌活、乌药各一两。切碎，每次取半两，用水四盏，慢火煎至两盏。滤去药渣，分两次服用。此方治疗中风偏侧发病，名为羌活散。
另一种用法：使用熟附子、干姜等量。切碎，每次服用四钱，用水二盏，煎至六分。滤去药渣，温服。此方治疗中风口噤、四肢强直、失音不语，或者突然晕倒、口吐涎沫，症状如同暗风，手足厥冷，或者又出现烦躁不安，名为姜附汤。
另一种用法：使用熟附子、人参各半两，茴香、炒茯苓、山药各一分，甘草（炙）、干姜（炮）各七钱半。切碎，用生姜和盐煎煮。此方治疗因房事过度导致身体虚弱，被风邪所中，恶风多汗，身体瘙痒，名为附子汤。
风邪致病，善于游走变化迅速。它侵袭人体是突然的，使人眩晕，激荡津液使其上浮，扰乱神志。在仓促之间，用什么来治疗呢？治疗的方法不过是用乌头、附子、天南星、木香这类药物，最为切要实用。但也必须审察病人的体质虚实，然后投药，才能万无一失。上述各方用药都相近，只是略有细微差别罢了。一并收录在三生饮之下。
对于失去知觉的人，用苏合香丸擦牙，灌入生姜自然汁。
天仙膏（出自危氏方）：治疗男女突然暴发的中风，口眼歪斜。
配方：天南星、草乌头（各一枚），白僵蚕（七枚），白芨（二钱）。以上研成细末，用生鳝鱼血调和，敷于患处。感觉面部端正后即可洗去。
救生命散：治疗卒中风。
配方：白矾、半夏（汤洗去滑腻后焙干）、天南星（这三味药等分，生用）。以上研为细散。每次服用好酒一盏，药末二钱。卧下时痰涎难以下咽。
牵正散（出自《医方大成》）：治疗突然暴发中风，口眼歪斜，半身不遂。
配方：白附子、僵蚕（去嘴足）、全蝎（去毒炒制，各等分）。以上研为末。每次服用一钱，温酒送下。不限时间。
三化汤（出自德生堂）：治疗各种卒中风，不省人事，痰喘上壅，一切危急证候，大便秘结，持续五到七天。
配方：大黄、牵牛子、朴硝（各五钱）。以上切碎，根据病人虚实加减用量。一次用水一盏半，煎至一盏，再加入硝再煎至半盏。
稀涎散（又名救急稀涎散，出自危氏方）：治疗卒中风，昏昏沉沉像喝醉了一样，心神烦闷，四肢不收摄，或者跌倒昏迷不醒，或者口角似歪斜，微微有涎液流出。如果不及时救治，就会导致死亡。这是由于风涎潮涌于上膈，阻塞气机不通。宜用救急稀涎散。
配方：皂荚（选用猪牙肥实且不蛀的，削去黑皮，四枚），白矾（一两，通透晶莹者）。以上研细为散。每次服用半钱，重症者加倍。
南星附子（方名未详，接上文）：
二圣汤（海上名方）：治疗卒中风。先用不蛀的皂角揉出汁，蘸华阴细辛末，擦牙关即开。后用二圣汤。
配方：白僵蚕（半两，直的，去丝嘴，炒黄色为末），附子（一只，重半两以上者，生用，去皮脐尖）。上将附子切片。半服，不醒再服。

Zishou Fang (Longevity Formula): Use Aconite Root (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata) and Arisaema Rhizome (Arisaematis Rhizoma), each one piece (use heavier ones weighing over eight qian). Process raw, remove skin and navel, chop. Decoct with four sheng of water and thirty slices of ginger together. When the water reduces by half, strain and use the liquid to mix with the powder.
