半去滓。入滑石末并油更煎。三沸。顿服之。未下更服。
蒲黄酒（一名槐子丸出大全良方）治妊娠堕胎。胞衣不出。
蒲黄（炒一合） 槐子（十四枚为末） 上以酒三盏煎至二盏。分温二服。未下更服。
一方治妊娠月数未足。欲产腹痛。用蜜丸温酒下。

（附论）
胎气在体内动荡不安，无法自我安定，导致非正常时期流产。胎儿既已堕下，但胞衣未能排出，是因为胞衣仍然与母体的气血相连属，血气尚且固结。在流产的过程中，又遭受风冷侵袭，导致血气凝滞涩阻，于是致使胞衣不能排出。治疗法则应当服用具有破血行气、温通阳气作用的药剂。
流产之后，胎儿刚排出，产妇体力虚弱羸弱，没有力气再用力促使胞衣产出。如果再遭遇外界寒冷，则血液凝滞，所以胞衣不能排出。
方剂：
当归汤：治疗妊娠期间流产，胞衣排不出的情况。
配方：当归（切碎炒制）、牛膝（用酒浸泡后切碎焙干，各一两半）、木通（锉碎）、滑石（捣碎，各二两）、冬葵子（炒制一合）、瞿麦穗（一两）。
用法：将药材切碎。每次服用三钱，用水一盏半，煎煮至八分，去药渣，温服。若胞衣未下，再次服用。以胞衣排出为度。
牛膝散（出自《圣惠方》）：治疗妊娠五六月时流产，胞衣排不出的情况。
配方：牛膝（去苗）、川芎、川朴硝、蒲黄（各三钱）、桂心（半两，去粗皮）、当归（一两半）。
用法：将药材切碎。每次服用四钱，用水一中盏，加入生姜半钱、生地黄一钱，煎煮至六分，去药渣，放温后频频服用，效果良好。
冬葵子汤：治疗妊娠期间流产，胞衣排不出的情况。
配方：冬葵子（炒制）、牛膝（用酒浸泡后切碎焙干）、木通（锉碎，各一两）、瞿麦穗（一两）、桂枝（去粗皮，二两）。
用法：将药材切碎。每次服用二钱，用水一盏半，煎煮至八分，去药渣，温服。以胞衣排出为度。
大阿胶汤：治疗妊娠期间流产，胞衣排不出的情况。
配方：阿胶（炙烤至干燥）、冬葵子（炒制）、牛膝（用酒浸泡后切碎焙干）、当归（切碎焙干，各三钱）。
用法：将药材切碎。每次服用三钱，用水一盏半，煎煮至八分，去药渣，温服。以胞衣排出为度。
雄黄散：治疗妊娠期间流产，胞衣不下，出现昏闷、喘息急促症状者，宜紧急救治。
配方：雄黄、香墨（研细，各一钱）、金箔（三片）、马牙硝（一钱，研细）。
用法：将药物研匀。每次服用一钱，用少许蜂蜜调和送服。
蒲黄散（出自《圣惠方》）：治疗流产，胞衣排不出，胞中疼痛，牵引腰脊的情况。
配方：蒲黄（三钱）、桂心、赤芍药（各一两）、牛膝（二两，去苗）。
用法：将药材切碎。每次服用四钱，用水和酒各半盏，煎煮至六分，去药渣，温服。
地黄酒：治疗妊娠期间流产，胞衣排不出的情况。
配方：生地黄（用铜刀或竹刀切碎炒制半两）、蒲黄（炒制）、生姜（切碎炒制，各一钱）。
用法：将药材切碎，用无灰酒三盏，在银器内同煎至二盏，去药渣，分三次温服。若胞衣未下，继续服用。
泽兰汤：治疗妊娠期间流产，胞衣排不出的情况。
配方：泽兰叶（切碎）、滑石（研末，各半两）、生麻油（少许）。
用法：用水三盏，先煎泽兰叶至一盏半，去药渣，加入滑石末和油，再煎煮三沸，一次性服下。若胞衣未下，继续服用。
蒲黄酒（一名槐子丸，出自《大全良方》）：治疗妊娠期间流产，胞衣排不出的情况。
配方：蒲黄（炒制一合）、槐子（十四枚，研末）。
用法：用酒三盏煎煮至二盏，分两次温服。若胞衣未下，继续服用。
另一方法：治疗妊娠月份未到，临产腹痛的情况，用蜜制成丸剂，用温酒送服。
治疗流产，胞衣排不出，腹中疼痛，牵引腰脊。（出自《圣惠方》）
使用蚁巢土三升炒热，用丝绸包裹敷在心下部位，胞衣自然就会排出。

用好墨细细研磨，每次用温酒调服二钱，频频服用有效。
治疗妊娠胎死腹中，胞衣排不出，以及产后突然患其他疾病，想要到野外狼狈应对的方法。（出自《圣惠方》）

When the fetal qi moves restlessly within, it cannot remain stable, leading to miscarriage before term. After the fetus is expelled, if the placenta (bao yi) fails to discharge, it is because the placenta remains attached to the mother's qi and blood, which are still consolidated. During the miscarriage process, exposure to wind and cold causes the qi and blood to coagulate and become stagnant, thereby preventing the expulsion of the placenta. The treatment principle should involve administering decoctions that break blood stasis, move qi, and warm the yang qi.
Following a miscarriage, after the fetus has been expelled, the woman's physical strength is depleted and weak, leaving her unable to exert further effort to deliver the placenta. If exposed to external cold, the blood coagulates, resulting in the retention of the placenta.
Formulas:
Danggui Tang (Angelica Decoction): Treats retained placenta following miscarriage during pregnancy.
Ingredients: Danggui Radix (Cut and stir-fried), Niuxi Achyranthes Root (Soaked in wine, cut, and dried, each 1.5 liang), Mutong Akebia Stem (Chopped), Huashi Talcum (Crushed, each 2 liang), Dongkuizi Malva Seed (Stir-fried, 1 he), Qumai Herba (1 liang).
Usage: Coarsely crush the herbs. Take 3 qian per dose. Add 1.5 sheng of water, decoct until reduced to 0.8 sheng, remove dregs, and take warm. If the placenta is not discharged, administer again. Continue until the placenta is expelled.
Niuxi San (Achyranthes Powder, from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats retained placenta following miscarriage at five or six months of pregnancy.
Ingredients: Niuxi Achyranthes Root (Remove sprouts), Xiong Chuanxiong Rhizome, Puxiao Rock Salt, Puhuang Pollen Lygodii Spore (each 3 qian), Guixin Cinnamon Bark (0.5 liang, remove coarse bark), Danggui Radix (1.5 liang).
Usage: Coarsely crush the herbs. Take 4 qian per dose. Add 1 zhong of water, half a qian of Shengjiang Fresh Ginger, and one qian of Shengdihuang Rehmannia Root. Decoct until reduced to 0.6 zhong, remove dregs, let cool to warm, and take frequently for effective results.
Dongkuizi Tang (Malva Seed Decoction): Treats retained placenta following miscarriage during pregnancy.
Ingredients: Dongkuizi Malva Seed (Stir-fried), Niuxi Achyranthes Root (Soaked in wine, cut, and dried), Mutong Akebia Stem (Chopped, each 1 liang), Qumai Herba (1 liang), Gui Cinnamon Twig (Remove coarse bark, 2 liang).
Usage: Coarsely crush the herbs. Take 2 qian per dose. Add 1.5 sheng of water, decoct until reduced to 0.8 sheng, remove dregs, and take warm. Continue until the placenta is expelled.
Da Ejiao Tang (Large Donkey-Hide Gelatin Decoction): Treats retained placenta following miscarriage during pregnancy.
Ingredients: Ejiao Donkey-Hide Gelatin (Roasted until dry), Dongkuizi Malva Seed (Stir-fried), Niuxi Achyranthes Root (Soaked in wine, cut, and dried), Danggui Radix (Cut and dried, each 3 qian).
Usage: Coarsely crush the herbs. Take 3 qian per dose. Add 1.5 sheng of water, decoct until reduced to 0.8 sheng, remove dregs, and take warm. Continue until the placenta is expelled.
Xionghuang San (Realgar Powder): Treats retained placenta following miscarriage during pregnancy, accompanied by coma, stifling sensation, and rapid breathing; requires emergency treatment.
Ingredients: Xionghuang Realgar, Xiangmo Ink Stick (Ground, each 1 qian), Jinbo Gold Leaf (3 pieces), Mayaxiao Sodium Sulfate (1 qian, ground).
Usage: Grind uniformly into powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with a small amount of honey.
Puhuang San (Pollen Lygodii Spore Powder, from *Shenghui Fang*): Treats retained placenta following miscarriage, with pain in the uterus radiating to the lower back and spine.
Ingredients: Puhuang Pollen Lygodii Spore (3 qian), Guixin Cinnamon Bark, Chishao Radix Paeoniae Rubra (each 1 liang), Niuxi Achyranthes Root (2 liang, remove sprouts).
Usage: Coarsely crush the herbs. Take 4 qian per dose. Add half a sheng of water and half a sheng of wine. Decoct until reduced to 0.6 sheng, remove dregs, and take warm.
Dihuang Jiu (Rehmannia Wine): Treats retained placenta following miscarriage during pregnancy.
Ingredients: Shengdihuang Fresh Rehmannia Root (Cut with copper or bamboo knife and stir-fried, 0.5 liang), Puhuang Pollen Lygodii Spore (Stir-fried), Shengjiang Fresh Ginger (Cut and stir-fried, each 1 qian).
Usage: Coarsely crush the herbs. Add 3 sheng of non-fermented wine, decoct together in a silver vessel until reduced to 2 sheng, remove dregs, and divide into three warm doses. If the placenta is not discharged, continue administration.
Zelan Tang (Lycopus Decoction): Treats retained placenta following miscarriage during pregnancy.
Ingredients: Zelan Ye Lycopus Leaf (Chopped), Huashi Talcum (Ground, each 0.5 liang), Shengmayou Raw Sesame Oil (A little).
Usage: Add 3 sheng of water, first decoct Zelan Ye Lycopus Leaf until reduced to 1.5 sheng, remove dregs. Add Huashi Talcum and oil, decoct for three boils, and take all at once. If the placenta is not discharged, continue administration.
Puhuang Jiu (Pollen Lygodii Spore Wine, also known as Huaizi Wan, from *Daqian Liangfang*): Treats retained placenta following miscarriage during pregnancy.
Ingredients: Puhuang Pollen Lygodii Spore (Stir-fried, 1 he), Huaizi Sophora Fruit (14 pieces, ground).
Usage: Decoct in 3 sheng of wine until reduced to 2 sheng. Divide into two warm doses. If the placenta is not discharged, continue administration.
Another prescription: For abdominal pain preceding labor before full term, form pills with honey and take with warm wine.
For retained placenta following miscarriage, with abdominal pain radiating to the lower back and spine. (From *Shenghui Fang*)
Use 3 sheng of soil from an ant nest, stir-fry until hot, wrap in silk, and apply to the epigastrium. The placenta will naturally be expelled.
Another prescription (From *Shenghui Fang*)
Finely grind high-quality ink stick. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine. Frequent administration is effective.
For fetal death in utero with retained placenta, and sudden onset of other diseases postpartum, requiring urgent measures while traveling. (From *Shenghui Fang*)
Drink a small cup (1 sheng) of hot sheep blood immediately; this is highly effective.

Mix flour with water; this is miraculous. Add a little vinegar.

Have the mother drink half a sheng of water used for bathing the infant. The placenta will be expelled. Do not let the parturient woman know.

If the placenta is not discharged and the abdomen becomes distended, it can be fatal.
Add 1 sheng of water and decoct 1 liang of pork lard for five to seven boils. Mix with the lard and take orally. The placenta will be promptly discharged.

Stir-fry snake skin until charred, grind into powder, and take with wine. If the placenta remains in the abdomen, separately grind Ulmus Alba Bark and decoct together; the placenta will be expelled immediately.
For retained placenta.
Take 14 Castor Seeds, remove shells, and apply them to the soles of the feet with the inner side facing up. Apply to the left foot for males and the right foot for females. Remove immediately after the placenta is expelled.
