（附论）
所谓牙齿挺出，是因为手阳明经虚弱，受到风冷之邪侵袭，与牙龈间的津液相互搏结，化为浓稠的脓汁，导致牙龈肌肉萎缩退缩，牙根暴露。
方剂：
青黛散
治疗牙齿根部挺出，以及脱落。治疗疽湿攻注嘴唇破溃，侵蚀牙齿。
青黛、苦参、甘草（各一两），雄黄、丹砂、莨菪、矾石、附子、藜芦、细辛、射干（各半两）。
地骨皮汤
治疗牙齿受风虫侵害，牙根挺出，动摇疼痛。
地骨皮、防风、盐、细辛、蔓荆实、杏仁、独活、青葙子、当归（各一两）。以上捣碎为散剂。每次使用适量。
甘草膏
治疗牙齿挺出，疼痛难以忍受。
甘草、雄黄、羊肾、泔淀（淘米水沉淀物）、牛屎汁、青黛（各一两）。以上先在铜器中，用微火煎煮三种脂汁，煮沸五到七次。每日三次含漱。
龙齿散
治疗牙齿根部暴露挺出，腐烂黑血不止，疼痛动摇，有臭味欲脱落。
龙脑、黄矾、白石脂（各二两），桂心、芎、皂角刺（各一两）。以上研为末，装入瓷器中保存。每次使用适量。
郁李根皮丸。治疗牙齿暴露挺出，皆由风热所致。
郁李仁根白皮、熟干地黄（各三两），防风、独活、青葙子（各一两）。以上研为末，用蜂蜜调和制成丸剂，如梧桐子大小。
枸杞子根散
治疗牙齿根部暴露，流脓血，口臭。
枸杞根、槐白根皮（各二两），胡桐泪、细辛（各一两），川椒（一分）。以上研为散剂。每次使用半两，以水一大盏煎煮。
蔓荆子散
治疗牙齿根部暴露挺出，皆是积热风毒所致。
蔓荆子、生地黄、地骨皮、角蒿（各一两），郁李根皮（二两）。以上研为散剂。每次使用半两，以水两大盏煎煮。
郁李根汤
治疗牙根受风，挺出疼痛。
郁李根、芎、细辛、生地黄（各一两）。以上研为末。取五钱，加水三盏，放入盐一钱，煎煮十余沸。
治疗牙齿根部暴露挺出，流脓血、口气臭秽的方子。
枸杞根、胡桐泪（一两）。以上混合均匀，研为末。每次使用时，以水两大盏，煎至一盏，去渣滓，趁热含漱，冷却后吐出。

The condition of teeth protruding is caused by deficiency in the Hand-Yangming Meridian, invasion of wind-cold pathogenic factors, and their interaction with saliva in the gums, transforming into thick pus. This leads to the retraction and atrophy of gingival tissue, exposing the tooth roots.
Formulas:
Qingdai San (Indigo Naturalis Powder)
Treats protrusion and shedding of tooth roots, and ulcers where damp-heat attacks the lips causing erosion of teeth.
Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis), Kushen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 1 liang); Xionghuang (Realgar), Dansha (Cinnabar), Langdang (Datura Seed), Fanshi (Alumen), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata), Lilu (Veratrum Nigrum), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Shegan (Belamcandae Rhizoma) (each 0.5 liang).
Digupi Tang (Bark of Ground Tree Bark Decoction)
Treats dental "wind-worm" infestation, protrusion of tooth roots, mobility, and pain.
Digupi (Phellodendri Cortex), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Yan (Salt), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Manjingzi (Viticis Semen), Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum), Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), Qingxiangzi (Celosiae Semen), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (each 1 liang). The above are pounded into a powder. Use an appropriate amount each time.
Gancao Gao (Licorice Ointment)
Treats protrusion of teeth with unbearable pain.
Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Xionghuang (Realgar), Yangshen (Ovis/Capis Ren), Gandian (Rice Washings Sediment), Niushizhi (Bovis Faeces Juice), Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis) (each 1 liang). First, place in a copper vessel and simmer over low heat until three lipid juices boil five to seven times. Rinse three times daily.
Longchi San (Dragon Tooth Powder)
Treats exposed and protruding tooth roots, continuous bleeding of rotting black blood, painful mobility, foul odor, and impending shedding.
Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum), Huangfan (Yellow Alum), Baishizhi (Kaolin), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Zaojiaoci (Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina) (each 2 liang for Longnao, Huangfan, Baishizhi; each 1 liang for Guixin, Xiong, Zaojiaoci). The above are ground into powder and stored in a porcelain container. Use an appropriate amount each time.
Yuligenpi Wan (Prunus japonica Root Bark Pill)
Treats exposed and protruding teeth, all caused by wind-heat.
Yuliren Gen Baipi (Root Bark of Prunus japonica), Shugadihuang (Prepared Rehmanniae Radix) (each 3 liang); Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Duhuo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), Qingxiangzi (Celosiae Semen) (each 1 liang). The above are ground into powder and mixed with honey to form pills the size of wutong seeds.
Gouqizi Gen San (Goji Root Powder)
Treats exposed tooth roots, purulent bloody discharge, and bad breath.
Gouqigen (Lycii Radix), Huaibaipgenpi (Root Bark of Sophora Root) (each 2 liang); Hutonglei (Tremella Fuciformis), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) (each 1 liang); Chuanjiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium) (1 fen). The above are ground into powder. Use half a liang each time, decocted in one large cup of water.
Manjingzi San (Vitex Fruit Powder)
Treats exposed and protruding tooth roots, all caused by accumulated wind-heat toxicity.
Manjingzi (Viticis Semen), Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix), Digupi (Phellodendri Cortex), Jiaohao (Artemisiae Scopariae Herba) (each 1 liang); Yuligenpi (Root Bark of Prunus japonica) (2 liang). The above are ground into powder. Use half a liang each time, decocted in two large cups of water.
Yuligen Tang (Prunus japonica Root Decoction)
Treats wind affecting tooth roots, causing protrusion and pain.
Yuligen (Root of Prunus japonica), Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix) (each 1 liang). The above are ground into powder. Take 5 qian, add 3 cups of water and 1 qian of salt, boil for more than ten boils.
Formula for treating exposed and protruding tooth roots with purulent bloody discharge and foul breath.
Gouqigen (Lycii Radix), Hutonglei (Tremella Fuciformis) (1 liang). Mix evenly and grind into powder. Each time, use two large cups of water, decoct to one cup, strain, hold hot in mouth, and spit out when cool.
Treating teeth that grow longer day by day, making eating difficult. (Wei Shi Formula)
Take Bai Zhu powder and rinse teeth, then spit out.
Formula for treating protruding and exposed teeth.
Shengdihuang (Rehmanniae Radix) 1 jin, pounded with a wooden mortar, mixed with 2 he of salt. Wrap in white powder to a thickness of about half cun, and burn in fire until smoke stops to complete.
