The condition known as "Ocular Purulent Discharge" (Mu Nong Lou) arises from the stagnation and heat accumulation in the blood vessels, with pathogenic factors transmitting to the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian (Zu Taiyang Pangguang Jing). The Bladder meridian originates at the inner canthus of the eye; therefore, it causes swelling of the eyelids, difficulty in opening the eyes, and although tears may flow, the black pupil appears obscured or distorted.
