【附论】
蚍蜉病，是由于寒邪侵袭，导致腹中胀满而引发的疾病。若寒毒未能祛除，便会演变成此病。发病初期，症状出现在颈项部位，使人出现类似伤寒的高热，皮肤表现类似于疥癣，疮孔流出脓血。其病根在于肾脏。
方剂
矾石防风散（出自《千金方》），治疗蚍蜉病。病症初发于颈项，起初症状类似伤寒。这是由于食用了含有蚍蜉毒素的食物且毒素未去所致，病根在肾。以矾石为主药，防风为佐药。
药物组成：矾石、防风、知母、雌黄、桃白皮、干地黄、独活、青黛、斑蝥（各一分，去除头足翅，用糯米拌炒至黄色为止）、白芷、松脂（一作白脂）、芍药、海藻、当归（各一分）、白术（四分）、[缺失药材名]皮（四分）、蜀椒（一百粒，去除目及闭口者，微炒至出汗）。以上药物捣碎筛成细粉。每次服用一钱匕，用水送服，每日三次。《外台秘要》中无矾石防风这一方名。

桃白皮散（出自《圣惠方》），治疗蚍蜉病。初发于颈项上部，身体高热，随后形成疮疡，流出脓水，伴有疼痛。
药物组成：桃白皮（半两，锉碎）、川大黄（半两，锉碎微炒）、知母（半两）、干生地黄（半两）、雌黄（一分，研细）、[缺失药材名]皮（一两，炙至黄色）、独活（半两）、青黛（一分，研细）、川椒（一百粒，去除目及合口者，微炒令出汗）、白芷（一分）、松脂（一分）、赤芍药（一分）、海苔（一分）。以上药物研成细末，混合均匀。每日空腹及晚饭前，用温粥调服一钱。
治蚍蜉病方（出自《圣惠方》）
药物组成：龟胆（三枚）、犬牙（三枚，炙至黄色）、琥珀（半两）、虺蛇头（一枚，炙至黄色）、雄黄、猪牙（三枚，炙至黄色）。以上药物研成细末，用醋调和均匀，敷于疮口一夜，效果神奇。
[Preface Discussion]
The disease of "Pifu" (Ant Disease) arises from cold pathogenic factors, resulting in abdominal distension. If the cold toxin is not expelled, it transforms into this condition. Initially, symptoms manifest on the neck and nape, causing high fever similar to Shanghan (Cold Damage), with skin lesions resembling scabies or tinea. The sores exude pus and blood. The root of the disease lies in the Kidney.
Formulas
Fanshi Fangfeng San (Alum and Saposhnikovia Powder) [Source: *Qianjin Fang*]. Treats Pifu disease. The onset occurs on the neck and nape; initially, symptoms resemble Shanghan. This results from ingesting food contaminated with ant toxins that remain unexpelled, with the root in the Kidney. Alum serves as the sovereign herb, and Saposhnikovia divaricata (Fangfeng) as the minister herb.
Ingredients: Alum, Saposhnikovia divaricata (Fangfeng), Anemarrhena asphodeloides (Zhimu), Realgar (Cihuang), White bark of Peach tree (Taobai pi), Dried Rehmannia root (Gan Dihuang), Angelica pubescens (Duhuo), Indigo naturalis (Qingdai), Mylabris (Banmao) (each 1 fen; remove head, feet, and wings; stir-fry with glutinous rice until yellow); Angelica dahurica (Baizhi), Pine resin (Songzhi, alternatively Bai zhi); Paeonia lactiflora (Shaoyao), Sargassum (Haizao), Angelica sinensis (Danggui) (each 1 fen); Atractylodes macrocephala (Baizhu) (4 fen); [Missing Herb Name] bark (4 fen); Zanthoxylum bungeanum (Shujiao) (100 grains; remove eyes and closed-mouth ones; stir-fry lightly until moisture appears). Process the above ingredients by crushing and sieving into fine powder. Take one qianbi (a small scoop measure) with water, three times daily. Note: *Waitai Miyao* does not list this formula under the name Fanshi Fangfeng.
Fanshi San (Alum Powder) [Source: *Shengji Zonglu*]. Treats Pifu disease. Onset is on the neck and nape, presenting like Shanghan. This is caused by consuming food containing ant toxins, with the root in the Kidney. Early treatment is required.
Ingredients: White Alum (burned to a dry residue, 0.5 liang); White bark of Plum tree (Libai pi); White bark of Peach tree (Taobai pi); Angelica pubescens (Duhuo, remove rhizome); Anemarrhena asphodeloides (Zhimu, baked); Raw dried Rehmannia root (Sheng Gan Dihuang, 1 fen); Realgar (Xionghuang, ground, 1 fen); [Missing Herb Name] bark (stir-fried until scorched); Atractylodes macrocephala (Baizhu) (each 3 fen); Indigo naturalis (Qingdai, ground); Mylabris (Banmao, remove wings, feet, head; stir-fry with glutinous rice until yellow); Angelica dahurica (Baizhi); Paulownia bark (Tongpi); Zanthoxylum bungeanum (Shujiao) (100 grains; remove eyes and closed-mouth ones; stir-fry lightly until moisture appears); Paeonia lactiflora (Shaoyao); Seaweed (Haitai, likely Haizao); Angelica sinensis (Danggui, baked, each 1 fen). Grind all into fine powder. Each day, on an empty stomach, take 1 qian mixed with warm wine, three times daily.
Taobai Pi San (Peach White Bark Powder) [Source: *Shenghui Fang*]. Treats Pifu disease. Initially starts on the upper neck; the body has high fever, followed by the formation of sores that discharge pus and water, accompanied by pain.
Ingredients: White bark of Peach tree (Taobai pi, 0.5 liang, chopped); Rhubarb (Chuan Dahuang, 0.5 liang, chopped and lightly stir-fried); Anemarrhena asphodeloides (Zhimu, 0.5 liang); Dried Fresh Rehmannia Root (Gan Sheng Dihuang, 0.5 liang); Orpiment (Cihuang, 1 fen, finely ground); [Missing Herb Name] bark (1 liang, roasted until yellow); Angelica pubescens (Duhuo, 0.5 liang); Indigo naturalis (Qingdai, 1 fen, finely ground); Sichuan Pepper (Chuan Jiao, 100 grains; remove eyes and closed-mouth ones; stir-fry lightly until moisture appears); Angelica dahurica (Baizhi, 1 fen); Pine resin (Songzhi, 1 fen); Red Paeonia Root (Chishao Yao, 1 fen); Seaweed (Haitai, 1 fen). Grind all into fine powder and mix uniformly. Each day, on an empty stomach and before evening meal, take 1 qian mixed with warm porridge.
Formula for Treating Pifu Disease [Source: *Shenghui Fang*]
Ingredients: Turtle gallbladder (Sandan, 3 pieces); Dog tooth (Sanya, 3 pieces, roasted until yellow); Amber (Hupo, 0.5 liang); Head of Viper (Huishetou, 1 piece, roasted until yellow); Realgar (Xionghuang); Pig tooth (Zhuya, 3 pieces, roasted until yellow). Grind all into fine powder. Mix evenly with vinegar and apply to the sore overnight. Highly effective.
Chixiaodou San (Adzuki Bean Powder) [Source: *Shenghui Fang*]. Treats Pifu disease.
