煮吴茱萸汁一杯服用，疼痛可止。另外，如果鱼骨卡在肉里出不来，嚼碎吴茱萸敷在患处，鱼骨自然会腐烂脱落。
治疗鱼骨卡喉无法取出：
取獭足在患者颈项处抓挠。也可以将獭足煮汁饮用。
治疗鱼骨卡喉，以及鱼骨扎入肉中无法取出、疼痛剧烈的情况：
取“鱼狗”（即今之翠鸟）烧成黑色，研为细末，一次性服下。煮汁饮用也可以。
治疗食用各种鱼类骨头卡喉，或杂物卡喉：
用好蜜七抄，分次慢慢服用，使异物下行排出。
治疗鱼骨卡喉：
口中念“鸬鹚”二字，异物即可下行。
治疗卡喉：
用琥珀做成珠子，穿在一根绳子上，推动绳子让珠子前进直到到达卡喉部位，再反复推挤，从而牵引出异物。如果是水晶珠也可以。

治疗草芒、砂石等异物卡在喉中无法取出：
用蒸笼的带子烧成灰，用水调匀饮下，异物即可排出。（以蒲草蒸笼带日久败烂者为佳）
治疗鱼骨卡喉：
经常口含橘皮，异物即可下行。
凡是误吞各种物品，如金银针钩之类，虽然并非疾病从体内产生，但如果没有办法将其取出，时间久了就会伤害人体。例如用旧梳子梳理头发，用磁石吸出针，都是凭借意念作为主导，不仅仅依靠药物的气味，治疗的技巧可谓用心精微了。《儒门事亲》书中记载：一个小儿误吞了一枚铜钱，卡在咽中不下，众医生都无法取出，也无法使其下行。于是命令戴人（张从正），戴人深思熟虑后，忽然想到一个计策。他用干净的白纸卷得紧实如筷子粗细，用刀在纸卷的一端纵横乱割，做成松散的形状。又另取一根筷子，在末端绑上钩子，固定牢固以防脱落。先将纸卷放入咽中，轻轻提拉按压，试探寻找。感觉到钩子进入铜钱的孔窍后，再将纸卷纳入咽中，与钩尖相对抵住。感觉钩尖进入纸卷端部，不伤及肌肉，然后提出来即可。
方剂：
治疗误吞铜铁金石竹木刺，鸡鹅鱼等各种骨头。（出自危氏方）
川山豆根、山蜈蚣、威灵仙（选铁脚者）、山慈菇、滑石、马牙硝、金星凤尾草（各一两）、急性子（制法见厕中制一年）、皂角。以上药物研为细末，每服一钱，温水送下，异物即下。

Qingxue San (Green Snow Powder): Treats fish bones stuck in the throat that cannot be removed. Also treats chronic Hou Bi (chronic inflammation of the pharynx and larynx).
Formula: Pen Xiao (Sodium Sulfate, 2 liang), Ya Xiao (Niter/Sodium Nitrate, 3 qian), Bai Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus, remove head, stir-fry until yellow, grind to powder), Gan Cao (Licorice Root, raw, grind to powder, 1.5 qian each), Qing Dai (Indigo Naturalis, 2 qian).
Treating Fish Bone Impaction: Cover the neck where the fish bone is stuck with an old fish net; the condition will heal. Alternatively, boil the fish net in water and drink it; the bone will fall out naturally.
Treating Fish Bones Stuck in the Abdomen Causing Stabbing Pain:
Boil a cup of Wu Zhu Yu juice (Evodia Fruit Decoction) and take it orally; the pain will stop. Additionally, if a fish bone is stuck in the flesh and cannot be removed, chew Wu Zhu Yu and apply it topically; the bone will rot and fall out.
Treating Fish Bone Impaction Unremovable:
Take the foot of a otter (Ta Zu) and scratch/rub it on the patient's neck. It can also be boiled in water and drunk.
Treating Fish Bone Impaction, or fish bones embedded in flesh unremovable with severe pain:
Take "Yu Gou" (Cuckoo-shrike/Cuckoo bird, specifically the kingfisher), burn it until black, grind to powder, and take once. Boiling it in water for drinking is also effective.
Treating Impaction from Eating Various Fish Bones or Foreign Objects:
Use good honey, seven chao (unit), take slowly in small doses to facilitate downward movement.
