慎之。
保元丹 千金不易方∶此丹张氏家传，已五世矣，黄精一斤、甘枸杞四两、酒酿五斤、
好黄酒五斤，入罐煮一炷香，
每饮一茶杯；药渣捣为丸，加胡桃肉八两、大黑枣八两、青州柿饼一斤。

产自东洋（日本），气味香烈，味道非常浓稠，每次服用不超过半盏，大能辅助元气，迅速提振精神。由商船带来，凡是总督、巡抚等大员，往往大量储备，以备不时之需；或者遇到重要事务感到疲惫时，入口一滴，精神百倍，比鸦片见效更快。《物理小识》记载：吉利重酿之酒，用红花、胡桃加入酒曲酿造的，治疗小便频数有效。
味道甘甜、辛辣且走窜通达，能迅速疏通全身血脉，补益元气生机，每天少量饮用一两滴，调理虚弱如神效一般。
酒蕈

小儿鼻风，吹乳肿痛 刘起堂经验方：用酒酿调和菊花叶敷在患处，立即痊愈。若无叶子可用根，甘菊叶尤其好，捣汁冲和服用，效果更好。
吹乳方 周氏家宝：用嫩苎麻根炒制，加少许白酒酿；共同捣烂敷于患处，一天一夜即可消散。忌食发物。

Originating from Dongyang (Japan), it has a fragrant and pungent odor, with a very thick and rich taste. Each dose should not exceed half a cup; it greatly assists Yuan Qi (Original Qi) and rapidly boosts mental spirit. Brought by merchant ships, high-ranking officials such as Governors-General and Provincial Governors often stockpile large quantities for emergency needs; or when exhausted by important matters, a single drop entering the mouth can multiply one's spirit a hundredfold, acting faster than opium. *Wuli Xiaoshi* records: "Jili heavy-distilled liquor, brewed with safflower and walnut added to the yeast starter, is effective for treating frequent urination."
The taste is sweet and acrid, with a penetrating and spreading nature; it can swiftly unblock all meridians and benefit the vital energy of Yuan Qi. Drinking one or two drops daily regulates weakness with miraculous effect.
Jiu Xun (Wine Mushroom)
Commonly known as Jiu Wo, also called Fu Qu, it is rice koji before wine fermentation is complete. It has a thick and rich taste; excessive consumption causes diarrhea. Its nature is good at generating and penetrating.
For conditions where fire qi ascends, it is sweet and acrid, warm in nature; used as an adjuvant with herbs, it promotes the formation of smallpox pus, moves blood, benefits the marrow and vessels, and generates body fluids.
Effective Prescription of Mr. Zhu for Chronic Red Eyes: Eucommia Bark (Duzhong), Magnolia Bark (Noupu), Mulberry Root Bark (Sangbaipi), and Areca Seed (Binglang), each 1 qian; take one male chicken liver (avoid contact with water, remove red veins), add 6 liang of Baijiu Niang (Sweet Rice Wine Lees), steam over water until cooked, remove dregs, and consume both soup and liver together. Take again after two days for complete recovery.
Experience Prescription of Liu Qitang for Pediatric Nasal Wind and Mastitis Pain/Swelling: Apply Jiu Niang mixed with chrysanthemum leaves to the affected area for immediate relief. If leaves are unavailable, use roots; Chrysanthemum Indicum leaves are particularly good. Crush to extract juice, mix and drink for better efficacy.
Mastitis Prescription from Zhou Family Treasure: Stir-fry tender Ramie Root (Zhuma Gen), add a small amount of Baijiu Niang; crush together and apply to the lesion. It dissipates within one day and night. Avoid stimulating foods.
Head Wind: Xanthium Fruit (Cangerzi), Angelica Dahurica (Baizhi), Flower Eyebright (Gujingcao), each 5 qian; Ligusticum Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong) 3 qian; Sweet Jiu Niang 4 liang; aged liquor 2 bowls. Decoct to one bowl and take (Miraculous Prescription).
Nocturnal Emission and White Turbidity: Sour Plum Grass (Suanmei Cao) 2 qian, Child Chrysanthemum (Haier Ju) 2 qian. Crush to extract juice, add Jiu Niang that has never touched water, and take appropriately on an empty stomach (from *Jiushi Qingnang*).
Difficult Labor: Jiu Niang, sesame oil, honey, child's urine, and egg white, each half a cup. Decoct until warm and take; delivery occurs immediately.
Smallpox Fails to Erupt: Non-Medicinal Good Prescription: Take seven dog flies (collected from dog ears in winter), crush them, and take with Jiu Niang. The eruption will appear on the same day, looking rosy and healthy.
Smallpox Fails to Rise: Collection of Good Prescriptions: Crush water chestnut to extract juice, take with Baijiu Niang while warm. Do not take it too hot; excessive heat reduces efficacy, so be cautious.
Baoyuan Dan (Preserve Vitality Pill) - Thousand Gold Unchanging Prescription: This pill is a family secret of the Zhang clan, passed down for five generations. Prepare 1 jin of Polygonatum Rhizome (Huangjing), 4 liang of Goji Berry (Gan Gouqi), 5 jin of Jiu Niang, and 5 jin of fine yellow wine. Boil in a jar for the time it takes to burn one incense stick. Drink one teacup per dose; crush the medicinal dregs into pills, adding 8 liang of Walnut Meat, 8 liang of Large Black Dates, and 1 jin of Qingzhou Persimmon Cakes.
