【主治】恶疮，食息肉，除面印字，一月即瘥（藏器）。治小儿鬼舐头，烧灰和腊猪脂
涂之（时珍）。
（奴吊切，亦作溺。《别录》）
【释名】溲（《素问》）、小便（《素问》）、轮回酒（《纲目》）、还元汤。时珍曰∶尿，
从尸从水，会意也。方家谓之轮回酒、还元汤，隐语也。饮入于胃，游溢精气，上输于脾；
脾气散精，上归于肺；通调水道，下输膀胱。水道者，阑门也。主分泌水谷，糟粕入于大
肠，水汁渗入膀胱。膀胱者，州都之官，津液之府，气化则能出矣。《阴阳应象论》云∶清
阳为天，浊阴为地；地气上为云，天气下为雨。故清阳出上窍，浊阴出下窍。
【气味】咸，寒，无毒。
【主治】寒热头痛，温气。童男者尤良（《别录》）。主久嗽上气失声，及症积满腹（苏
恭）。明目益声，润肌肤，利大肠，推陈致新，去咳嗽肺痿，鬼气 病。停久者，服之佳。
恐冷，则和热汤服（藏器）。止劳渴，润心肺，疗血闷热狂，扑损，瘀血在内运绝，止吐血
鼻衄，皮肤皴裂，难产，胎衣不下，蛇犬咬（大明）。滋阴降火甚速（震亨）。杀虫解毒，疗
疟中 （时珍）。
【发明】弘景曰∶若人初得头痛，直饮人尿数升，亦多愈；合葱、豉作汤服，弥佳。宗
曰∶人溺，须童子者佳。产后温饮一杯，压下败血恶物。有饮过七日者。过多恐久远血脏
寒，令人发带病，人亦不觉。若气血虚无热者，尤不宜多服。此物性寒，故热劳方中用之。
震亨曰∶小便降火甚速。常见一老妇，年逾八十，貌似四十。询其故。常有恶病，人教服人
尿，四十余年矣，且老健无他病，而何谓之性寒不宜多服耶？凡阴虚火动，热蒸如燎，服药
无益者，非小便不能除。时珍曰∶小便性温不寒，饮之入胃，随脾之气上归于肺，下通水道
而入膀胱，乃其旧路也。故能治肺病，引火下行。凡人精气，清者为血，浊者为气；浊之清
者为津液，清之浊者为小便。小便与血同类也，故其味咸而走血，治诸血病也。按《褚澄遗
书》云∶人喉有窍，则咳血杀人。喉不停物，毫发必咳。血既渗入，愈渗愈咳，愈咳愈渗。
惟饮溲溺，则百不一死；若服寒凉，则百不一生。又吴球《诸证辨疑》云∶诸虚吐衄咯血，
须用童子小便，其效甚速。盖溲溺滋阴降火，消瘀血，止吐衄诸血。但取十二岁以下童子，
绝其烹炮咸酸，多与米饮，以助水道。每用一盏，入姜汁或韭汁二三点，徐徐服之，日进二
三服。寒天则重汤温服，久自有效也。又成无已云∶伤寒少阴证，下利不止，厥逆无脉，干
呕欲饮水者。加人尿、猪胆汁咸苦寒物于白通汤姜、附药中，其气相从，可去格拒之患也。
【附方】旧七，新三十八。
头痛至极∶童便一盏，豉心半合，同煎至五分，温服。（《圣济总录》）
热病咽痛∶童便三合，含之即止。（《圣惠方》）骨蒸发热∶三岁童便五升，煎取一升，
以蜜三匙和之。每服二碗，半日更服。此后常取自己小便服之，轻者二十日，重者五十日瘥。
二十日后，当有虫如蚰蜒，在身常出。十步内闻病患小便臭者，瘥也。台州丹仙观道士张病
此，自服神验。（孟诜《必效方》）
男妇怯证∶男用童女便，女用童男便，斩头去尾，日进二次，干烧饼压之，月余全愈。

瘴疠诸疟，无问新久∶童便一升，入白蜜二匙，搅去白沫，顿服，取吐碧绿痰出为妙。

中 昏闷∶夏月人在途中热死，急移阴处，就掬道上热土拥脐上作窝，令人溺满，暖气
透脐即苏，乃服地浆、蒜水等药。林亿云∶此法出自张仲景，其意殊绝，非常情所能及，本
草所能关，实救急之大术也。盖脐乃命蒂，暑 伤气，温脐所以接其元气之意。中恶不醒∶
令人尿其面上即苏。此扁鹊法也。（《肘后方》）
三十年痫、一切气块、宿冷恶病∶苦参二斤，童子小便一斗二升，煎取六升，和糯米及
曲，如常法作酒服。但腹中诸疾皆治。酒放二三年不坏，多作救人神效。（《圣惠》）

【主治】恶疮，食息肉，去除面部的瘢痕印记，一个月即可痊愈（陈藏器）。治疗小儿“鬼舐头”病，将人尿烧成灰后与腊月猪脂混合涂抹患处（李时珍）。
【释名】溲（出自《黄帝内经·素问》）、小便（出自《黄帝内经·素问》）、轮回酒（出自《本草纲目》）、还元汤。李时珍说：尿字，由“尸”和“水”组成，是会意字。医家称之为轮回酒、还元汤，这是隐语。饮入胃中，精气游溢上行，输送到脾；脾气散布精微，向上输送到肺；通调水道，向下输送到膀胱。所谓水道，就是阑门。主要功能是分泌水谷，糟粕进入大肠，水汁渗入膀胱。膀胱是州都之官，津液汇聚之所，经过气化作用才能排出尿液。《黄帝内经·阴阳应象大论》说：清阳上升为天，浊阴下降为地；地气上升成为云，天气下降成为雨。所以清阳出于上窍，浊阴出于下窍。
【主治】寒热头痛，温气。童男的小便尤其好（《名医别录》）。主治久咳气喘失声，以及症积满腹（苏恭）。明目益声，滋润肌肤，利大肠，推陈致新，去除咳嗽肺痿，鬼气注病。存放久的更好服用。如果怕凉，可以用热汤调和服用（陈藏器）。止劳渴，润心肺，治疗血闷热狂，跌打损伤，瘀血内停运绝，止吐血鼻衄，皮肤皴裂，难产，胎衣不下，蛇犬咬伤（孟诜）。滋阴降火速度很快（朱震亨）。杀虫解毒，治疗疟疾（李时珍）。
【发明】陶弘景说：如果有人刚得头痛，直接饮用几升人尿，大多能愈；配合葱、豉煮汤服用，效果更好。寇宗奭说：人尿，以童子尿为佳。产后温服一杯，可压下败血恶物。有人连续喝了七天。喝多了恐怕会导致血脏长期受寒，让人患上带脉相关的疾病，人们也不察觉。如果是气血虚无热的人，尤其不宜多服。此物性寒，所以在治疗热劳的方剂中使用。朱震亨说：小便降火速度极快。曾见一位老妇，年过八十，容貌像四十岁。询问原因。她常有恶病，有人教她服用人尿，四十多年了，而且老健无其他病，这怎么能说是性寒不宜多服呢？凡是阴虚火动，热气蒸腾如燃烧，服药无效的，非用小不能除。李时珍说：小便性温不寒，饮入胃中，随脾气上归于肺，下通水道而入膀胱，这是它原来的路径。所以能治肺病，引火下行。凡人的精气，清的是血，浊的是气；浊中之清的是津液，清中之浊的是小便。小便与血同类，所以其味咸而走血，治疗各种血病。按《褚澄遗书》说：人喉有窍，则咳血杀人。喉不停留异物，毫发必咳。血既渗入，越渗越咳，越咳越渗。只有饮用溲溺，才百人中不死一个；如果服用寒凉药，则百人中无一人生还。又吴球《诸证辨疑》说：各种虚证吐衄咯血，必须用童子小便，效果极快。因为溲溺滋阴降火，消瘀血，止吐衄诸血。只取十二岁以下童子，禁止烹饪咸酸之物，多给米饮，以助水道。每次用一盏，加入姜汁或韭汁二三滴，慢慢服用，每天进二三服。寒冷天气则隔水温服，久了自然有效。又成无己说：伤寒少阴证，下利不止，厥逆无脉，干呕想喝水的。在白通汤姜、附药中加入人尿、猪胆汁等咸苦寒之物，其气相从，可以消除格拒之患。

[Indications] Malignant sores, food polyps, removal of facial scars; healing within one month (Chen Zangqi). Treatment for "ghost-licking head" in children: burn urine to ash and mix with lard from the twelfth lunar month to apply topically (Li Shizhen).

[Names] Sou (from *Huangdi Neijing Suwen*), Xiao Bian (from *Huangdi Neijing Suwen*), Lunhui Jiu (Reincarnation Wine, from *Bencao Gangmu*), Huanyuan Tang. Li Shizhen stated: The character for urine consists of "corpse" (Shi) and "water" (Shui), forming a compound ideogram. Medical practitioners call it Reincarnation Wine or Return-to-Origin Soup, which are euphemisms. After drinking, it enters the Stomach, where essence floats and rises, being transported to the Spleen; the Spleen scatters essence, sending it upward to the Lung; it regulates water passages, transporting downward to the Bladder. The water passage refers to the Lanmen gate. Its main function is to separate fluids from grain; dregs enter the Large Intestine, while fluid seeps into the Bladder. The Bladder is the official of the Zhou Du, the repository of Jin Ye (Body Fluids); only through Qi transformation can it discharge urine. The *Yin Yang Ying Xiang Lun* states: Clear Yang ascends to Heaven, Turbid Yin descends to Earth; Earth's Qi rises to become clouds, Heaven's Qi descends to become rain. Thus, Clear Yang exits through the upper orifices, and Turbid Yin exits through the lower orifices.
[Flavor and Nature] Salty, Cold, Non-toxic.
[Indications] Chills, fever, headache, and Wen Qi (Warm Qi disorder). Urine from prepubertal boys is particularly effective (*Bielu*). It treats chronic cough with asthma and loss of voice, as well as accumulations causing abdominal fullness (Su Gong). It brightens the eyes, benefits the voice, moistens skin, promotes bowel movement, eliminates stale matter and generates new tissue, treats cough and Fei Wei (Lung Atrophy), and dispels Gui Qi (Ghost Qi) and Zhu Bing (Sticking Disease). Stored urine is better for consumption. If feared to be cold, mix with hot water before taking (Chen Zangqi). It stops labor-related thirst, moistens Heart and Lungs, treats blood heat with mania, traumatic injuries, internal stasis obstructing circulation, stops hematemesis and epistaxis, treats skin cracking, dystocia, retained placenta, and snake/dog bites (Meng Xun). It nourishes Yin and descends Fire very rapidly (Zhen Heng). It kills parasites and detoxifies, treating malaria (Li Shizhen).
[Elucidation] Tao Hongjing said: If a person initially suffers from headache, drinking several sheng of human urine directly often leads to recovery; mixing with Scallion and Fermented Soybean Decoction for oral administration is even better. Zong said: Human urine is best when from a child. After childbirth, drinking a cup warm helps suppress bad blood and foul matter. Some drink it for seven days. Excessive consumption may cause long-term coldness in the Blood Zang organs, leading to Dai Mai (Girdle Vessel) diseases, though people may not realize it. Those with Qi and Blood deficiency without heat should especially avoid excessive use. Since this substance is Cold, it is used in formulas treating Heat-Lao (Deficiency Heat). Zhen Heng said: Urine descends Fire very rapidly. I once saw an old woman over eighty who looked forty. Asking why, she explained she had a chronic illness and was taught to drink human urine for over forty years; she remained robust without other illnesses. How can one say it is Cold and unsuitable for much use? For cases of Yin deficiency with Fire hyperactivity, where heat steams like burning and medicines fail, only urine can eliminate it. Li Shizhen said: Urine is Warm, not Cold. Upon entering the Stomach, it follows Spleen Qi up to the Lung, then down through water passages into the Bladder, returning to its original path. Thus, it treats Lung diseases and guides Fire downward. In humans, clear essence becomes Blood, turbid essence becomes Qi; clear within turbid becomes Jin Ye, turbid within clear becomes urine. Urine is similar to Blood; thus, its salty flavor enters the Blood channel, treating various Blood disorders. According to *Chu Cheng Yi Shu*: If the throat has openings, coughing blood kills. The throat does not retain foreign objects; even a hair causes coughing. Once blood seeps in, more seepage causes more coughing, and more coughing causes more seepage. Only by drinking urine is there less than one death in a hundred; if cold-natured medicines are taken, none survive. Wu Qiu's *Zhuzheng Banyi* states: For various deficiency-type hematemesis, epistaxis, and hemoptysis, child urine must be used for rapid effect. This is because urine nourishes Yin, descends Fire, resolves blood stasis, and stops bleeding. Only take urine from boys under twelve years old; avoid cooking with salty or sour substances; provide plenty of rice drink to assist water passages. Use one zhan per dose, add two or three drops of Ginger Juice or Chinese Leek Juice, and take slowly. Administer two to three times daily. In cold weather, warm it in a double boiler; effectiveness will appear over time. Cheng Wuyi said: In Shaoyin syndrome of Shanghan (Cold Damage), with continuous diarrhea, cold limbs, absent pulse, dry vomiting, and desire to drink water, adding salty-bitter-cold substances like human urine and Pig Bile to Baotong Decoction (with Ginger and Aconite) allows their energies to harmonize, resolving rejection issues.

Severe Headache: One zhan of Child Urine, half he of Fermented Soybean Hearts, decoct together until reduced to five fen, take warm. (*Shengji Zonglu*)
Heat Disease with Sore Throat: Three he of Child Urine, hold in mouth to stop pain. (*Taiping Shenghui Fang*)
Bone-Burning Fever: Five sheng of urine from a three-year-old boy, decoct to obtain one sheng, mix with three spoons of Honey. Take two bowls per dose, repeat after half a day. Thereafter, continuously consume one's own urine; mild cases heal in twenty days, severe in fifty. After twenty days, worms like centipedes may appear on the body. If one smells the patient's urine odor within ten steps, it indicates healing. Daoist Zhang of Danxian Temple in Taizhou suffered from this and found self-administration miraculous. (*Meng Xun Bi Xiao Fang*)
Male and Female Weakness Syndromes: Men use virgin girl's urine, women use virgin boy's urine. Discard the first and last parts. Take twice daily, pressing with dry baked cakes. Full recovery in over a month. (*Taiping Shenghui Fang*)
Chronic Cough with Sputum, Fei Wei (Lung Atrophy) with intermittent chills/fever, red cheeks, and rapid breathing. Use five he of Child Urine (discard ends), soak one cun of roasted large Powdered Licorice Root (broken into four pieces) overnight exposed to air. Remove licorice, take all at dawn. Alternatively, mix with one qian of licorice powder. One dose daily. Boys should avoid five pungent hot foods. (*Yao Sengyuan Ji Yan*)
Fei Wei with Cough, Ghost Qi and Zhu Disease: Daily warm consumption of stored smelly urine. (*Ji Yan Fang*)
Hematemesis and Epistaxis: Mix human urine with Ginger Juice evenly, take one sheng. (Rihuazi)
Severe Xiao Ke (Wasting-Thirst): Take water from communal urination pits, one zhan to drink. Do not let the patient know. Heal after three doses. (*Taiping Shenghui Fang*)
Abdominal Masses Unresponsive to Other Medicines: One sheng of human urine per dose. Expels blood clots; clears within twenty days. (Su Gong *Bencao*)
Intestinal Colic Pain: Take child urine; pain stops immediately. (*Taiping Shenghui Fang*)
Sudden Abdominal Pain: Have someone straddle the abdomen and urinate into the umbilicus. (*Zhouhou Beiji Fang*)
Intermittent Dysentery: Two liang of Apricot Kernels (skin removed, fried, ground). Slice one pig liver, wash clean of blood. Place in clean pot alternating layers of liver and kernels. Decoct with two sheng of child urine until dry. Cool and eat as desired. (*Taiping Shenghui Fang*)
Malaria with Severe Thirst: Mix child urine with honey, boil, take in one dose. (*Jianbian Fang*)
Miasma and Various Malarial Fevers, New or Old: One sheng of child urine, add two spoons of white honey, stir to remove foam, take in one dose. Ideally induces vomiting of green bile-phlegm. Otherwise, it will not cure. (*Taiping Shenghui Fang*)
Heatstroke Coma: In summer, if someone dies of heat on the road, move quickly to shade. Scoop hot soil from the road around the umbilicus to form a basin. Urinate into it until full. Warm qi penetrating the umbilicus restores consciousness. Then administer Earth Slurry and Garlic Water. Lin Yi said: This method originates from Zhang Zhongjing. Its intent is extraordinary, beyond common understanding and standard materia medica. It is truly a major emergency technique. The umbilicus is the root of life; heat damages Qi. Warming the umbilicus reconnects Yuan Qi. Evil Qi Unconsciousness: Urinate on the face to restore consciousness. This is Bian Que's method. (*Zhouhou Beiji Fang*)
Thirty-Year Epilepsy, All Qi Masses, Chronic Cold Evil Diseases: Two jin of Sophora Root, one dou two sheng of child urine. Decoct to six sheng. Mix with glutinous rice and yeast, make wine as usual, and drink. Treats all abdominal diseases. Wine keeps for two to three years without spoiling; making much saves lives miraculously. Metal Wounds with Wind Invasion: Wash self with own urine two to three times daily; safe to enter water. (*Taiping Shenghui Fang*)
Metal Wounds with Unstoppable Bleeding: Drink five sheng of human urine. (*Qianjin Fang*)
Blunt Trauma with Blood Stasis Attacking Heart: Decoct human urine, take one sheng. Once daily. (Su Gong *Bencao*)

Child urine does not disturb Zang-Fu or damage Qi and Blood; it is foolproof. Often used in armies.
