【大麻疯】
嘴唇外翻，牙齿外露。眼睛凹陷牵拉，脚部拘挛吊起。手足手指脱落。鼻梁塌陷崩塌。形体受损，容貌改变。呈现种种恶毒症状。病程日久，病情深重，无药可治。必须使用毒药来攻逐病邪。经过很长时间才能见效。以蒺藜散等方剂为主进行治疗。这是大麻疯（麻风病重症）。
【暑湿疯】
手足先出现麻木感，随后身体出现失去知觉的死肉。或者像疮疹，或者像疥癣。或者皮肤肌肉常感觉像有虫子爬行。或者耳朵肿大生长。或者虎口处的肌肉干枯焦黑。身上有红色斑块或红色堆积物，脸上有红云状且出油光亮。筋脉跳动，肌肉疼痛，全身瘙痒。或者起白色皮屑，或者起黑色死皮。这是大麻疯的较轻阶段。以小神散为主进行治疗。这是麻风病。

【白癜疯】
毛发全部变白。脸色像敷了粉一样。从年少到年老，发作于全身。四肢颜色一致。手足软弱无力。间或有红色颗粒。一旦发作难以治愈。也有因轻粉中毒引起的，也类似于此症。这不是麻风病。应遵循《医宗金鉴》中关于白癜疯的治疗方法。
[Big Lepra / Leprosy]
The lips are everted, and the teeth are exposed. The eyes are sunken and pulled, and the feet are contracted and drawn up. The fingers of the hands and feet fall off. The nasal bridge collapses. The physical form is damaged, and the facial appearance is altered. Various malignant symptoms appear. With a long-standing course and severe disease, there is no medicine that can cure it. It is necessary to use toxic drugs to attack the pathogen. Effectiveness is achieved only after a long time. Formulas such as Jili San (Tribulus Powder) should be used as the main treatment. This is Big Lepra (severe leprosy).
[Summer-Dampness Lepra]
Numbness first appears in the hands and feet, followed by the development of insensate flesh on the body. It may resemble sores or rashes, or look like scabies and tinea. The skin and muscles may constantly feel as if insects are crawling. The ears may swell and enlarge. The flesh at the thenar eminence (tiger's mouth) may become dry and scorched. There may be red patches or accumulations on the body, and the face may show a red cloud-like appearance with oily luster. Tendons twitch, muscles ache, and the whole body itches. White scales or black dead skin may appear. This is a milder stage of Big Lepra. Xiaoshen San (Little Divine Powder) should be used as the main treatment. This is leprosy.
[Purple Petechiae Lepra]
There is no numbness in the hands and feet. The ears and face appear red. Cloud-like spots appear on the body, along with purple patches or red patches. The interior is red while the exterior is white. The lesions float and sink intermittently. Wind pearls or wind wheals may emerge. Use the previous formula as the main treatment. This resembles leprosy but is actually not leprosy.
[White Vitiligo Lepra]
Flower-white spots cover the entire body, accompanied by insensate flesh. The condition resembles sweat spots. The color shifts from white to red, and from red to white. The insensate flesh is not completely necrotic. This is not wind-dampness, but rather toxicity from Qinfen (Calomel/Mercurous Chloride). Treatment should include scrubbing and washing externally for immediate effect. This is not leprosy; it looks like it but is not.
[Purple Petechiae Lepra]
The skin and blood shine like oil droplets. They turn red when near fire. Eyebrows and beard hair fall out first. The hands and feet are paralyzed. Nodules form within the muscles, which break down and rot into sores. They heal but recur. Treat with Xiaoshen Wan (Little Divine Pill). This is not leprosy. Follow the treatment for Purple Petechiae Lepra as recorded in Yi Zong Jin Jian (Golden Mirror of Medicine).
[White Vitiligo Lepra]
All hair turns white. The face looks like it is covered with powder. From youth to old age, it affects the entire body, making all four limbs the same color. The hands and feet are weak and soft. Occasionally, red granules appear. Once it occurs, it is difficult to cure. Cases caused by Qinfen (Calomel) toxicity also resemble this condition. This is not leprosy.
