扫涎立效丹 治一切白喉风涎壅滞急证。
巴豆（去壳取净肉三粒） 明矾（二钱） 合巴豆炒枯为度。去巴豆取矾。乳细末。瓷瓶收贮。遇风涎壅滞。用
少许温水泡透。新笔醮水。涂扫喉内。使风涎吐出。然后吹药。则取效更捷。扫后用二次米泔水漱口。
提毒异功散 治一切白喉急证
真血竭（六分） 斑蝥（四钱） 大梅片（三分） 制乳香（六分，去净油）
全蝎（六分） 麝香（三分） 制没药（六分，去净油） 元参（六分）
斑螫去头翅足。糯米拌炒。以米色微黄为度。炒后去米。除麝片外。共研细末。过绢筛。再合麝片乳细瓷
瓶收贮。遇一切喉证。将随用膏药开摊。以此散放膏药中心。贴颈项。须对喉内肿处。左肿贴左。右肿贴右。左右俱肿。两边皆贴。阅五六时。揭去膏药。
贴处必起水泡。用针刺破。揩净毒水。即能消肿止痛。亦救急法也。
平险如意散 治一切白喉内外俱肿急证。

吹药方法照前所述。吹完后根据分量比例配合使用。
开关立效散 治疗各种白喉导致牙关紧闭、汤水难进等病症。

除麝香、片脑、牛黄外，将其他药材共研成极细粉末。过绢筛过滤。再加入麝香、片脑、牛黄反复研磨精细。装入瓷瓶收存。用蜡密封瓶口，防止漏气。使用时取三四厘吹入两腮内侧，或者取少许吹入鼻孔，立刻能开通闭塞。
扫涎立效丹 治疗各种白喉导致风痰壅滞的急症。
巴豆（去壳取净肉三粒） 明矾（二钱） 与巴豆同炒至枯焦程度。去掉巴豆，只取明矾。研磨成细粉末。装入瓷瓶收存。遇到风痰壅滞时，用少许温水泡透。用新毛笔蘸药水，涂抹清扫咽喉内部，使风痰吐出，然后再吹药，则疗效更快捷。扫后用第二次淘米水漱口。

斑蝥去掉头翅足，用糯米拌炒，以米色微黄为度。炒后去掉米。除麝香、片脑外，共研成细粉末。过绢筛过滤。再加入麝香、片脑研磨细。装入瓷瓶收存。遇到各种喉证，将随用的膏药摊开，把此散剂放在膏药中心，贴于颈项处。必须对准喉内肿胀部位，左边肿贴左边，右边肿贴右边，左右都肿则两边都贴。经过五六个小时，揭去膏药。
贴敷处必定起水泡，用针刺破。擦干净毒水，就能消肿止痛。这也是急救的方法。

共研成细末。将四季葱捣出汁液，以陈年茶水和白酒各半，共同调和炒至微热。敷于颈项处。
拔毒外出，消肿止痛。
引龙归海散 治疗寒证白喉急症。
本制附片（五钱） 吴茱萸（三钱）
共研成细末。用白酒调制成两个饼。贴于两足心涌泉穴。如果天气寒冷，用火微微烘烤，以免无根之火浮越于上，借此引导而自然下降。这也是以类相求的方法。
Kangong Huisheng Dan (Palace of Kan Revival Pill) is used to treat throat conditions such as diphtheria, ru'e (mumps/tonsillitis), and houfeng (wind-phlegm obstructing the throat).
Zhen Xuejie (Genuine Dragon's Blood, 1 qian) Xixin (Asarum, 1 fen) Zhen Xiongjing (Genuine Realgar, 2 qian) Yazao (Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit, 2 fen) Dameipian (Borneol, 4 fen) Pengsha (Borax, 1 qian) Zhen Shexiang (Genuine Musk, 6 fen) Yujin (Curcuma Longa Rhizome, 1 qian) Sheng Fupian (Raw Aconite Lateral Root Slice, 1 qian, honey-fried until extremely charred)
Excluding the piece of musk, grind all ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Sieve through silk. Add the piece of musk and grind again until fine. Store in a porcelain bottle. Seal the bottle mouth with wax to prevent leakage. For use, take 3 li of this powder mixed with 1 li of Genong Chuhaix Dan. Use a copper bellows blower to insufflate the mixture onto the white lesions in the throat. Hold in the mouth for a moment so that toxic gases are expelled with saliva, leading to immediate recovery.
Genong Chuhaix Dan (Palace of Genong Elimination Pill) is specifically used to treat all types of diphtheria.
Zhen Zhenzhu (Genuine Pearl, 3 qian, steamed on water tofu for the duration of burning three chi of incense) Dishipo (Scutellariae Barbatae Herba, 2 li, roasted over low fire in a silver container until charred) Zhen Manao (Genuine Agate, 3 qian, roasted in a clay pot for the duration of burning seven chi of incense) Shouzhi Jia (Human Finger Nail, 5 fen, roasted on tile until charred) Zhen Shanhu (Genuine Coral, 3 qian, roasted in a clay pot for the duration of burning seven chi of incense) Mabo (Pleurotus Ostreatus, 3 li) Zhen Hupo (Genuine Amber, 3 qian) Qiuyin (Earthworm, 6 fen, roasted on tile until dry) Zhen Chensha (Genuine Cinnabar, 3 qian, processed by water levigation) Canjian (Silkworm Cocoon, 7 pieces, burnt to ash retaining its properties) Zhen Shexiang (Genuine Musk, 5 fen) Dameipian (Borneol, 6 fen)
Grind all ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Sieve through silk. Grind again until fine. Store in a porcelain bottle. Seal the bottle mouth with wax to prevent leakage. For cold-heat complex patterns, mix and use temporarily according to proportion.
Sanxian Dan (Three Immortals Pill) consists of Ligong Huisheng Dan (1 fen), Kangong Huisheng Dan (1 fen), and Genong Chuhaix Dan (5 li). Mix evenly before use.
Insufflation method follows the previous instructions. After insufflation, combine according to dosage proportions.
Kaiguan Li Xiao San (Opening Locks Instant Effect Powder) treats all types of diphtheria presenting with trismus (lockjaw) and difficulty swallowing liquids.

Excluding musk, borneol, and calculus bovis, grind the remaining ingredients into an extremely fine powder. Sieve through silk. Add musk, borneol, and calculus bovis and grind again until fine. Store in a porcelain bottle. Seal the bottle mouth with wax to prevent leakage. For use, insufflate 3-4 li into the inner cheeks or a small amount into the nostrils to immediately open the blockage.
Saoyan Li Xiao Dan (Sweeping Phlegm Instant Effect Pill) treats acute cases of diphtheria complicated by wind-phlegm obstruction.
Badou (Croton Tiglium Seed, remove shell and take pure flesh, 3 seeds) Mingfan (Alumen, 2 qian) Stir-fry together with Badou until charred. Remove Badou and keep only Alumen. Grind into fine powder. Store in a porcelain bottle. In cases of wind-phlegm obstruction, soak a small amount in warm water until fully permeated. Dip a new brush into the solution and apply to sweep the interior of the throat to expel phlegm. Then insufflate medicine for faster effect. Rinse mouth with second rice-washing water after sweeping.
Tidu Yigong San (Extracting Toxin Extraordinary Merit Powder) treats acute cases of diphtheria.
Zhen Xuejie (Genuine Dragon's Blood, 6 fen) Banmao (Mylabris, 4 qian) Dameipian (Borneol, 3 fen) Zhi Ruxiang (Prepared Frankincense, 6 fen, oil removed completely) Quanxie (Whole Scorpion, 6 fen) Shexiang (Musk, 3 fen) Zhi Moyao (Prepared Myrrh, 6 fen, oil removed completely) Yuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix, 6 fen)
Remove head, wings, and legs from Banmao. Stir-fry with glutinous rice until rice turns slightly yellow. Remove rice. Excluding musk and borneol, grind into fine powder. Sieve through silk. Add musk and borneol and grind fine. Store in a porcelain bottle. For various throat conditions, spread the accompanying plaster, place this powder in the center of the plaster, and apply to the neck. Align precisely with the swollen area inside the throat: apply left side for left swelling, right side for right swelling, both sides if both are swollen. After 5-6 hours, remove the plaster.
A blister will definitely form at the application site. Puncture with a needle. Wipe clean the toxic fluid. This reduces swelling and pain. This is also an emergency rescue method.
Pingxian Ruyi San (Leveling Danger As-You-Wish Powder) treats acute cases of diphtheria with internal and external swelling.

Grind into fine powder. Extract juice from Siji Cong. Mix with aged tea water and baijiu (white liquor) in equal parts. Stir-fry together until slightly hot. Apply to the neck.
Expels toxins, reduces swelling, and relieves pain.
Yinlong Guihai San (Guiding Dragon Returning to Sea Powder) treats acute cases of cold-pattern diphtheria.
Benzhi Fupian (Locally Prepared Aconite Lateral Root Slice, 5 qian) Wuyu (Evodiae Fructus, 3 qian)
Grind into fine powder. Mix with baijiu to form two cakes. Apply to Yongquan (KI1, Sole of Foot) acupoints on both soles. If the weather is cold, gently warm with fire to prevent floating deficient fire upwards. This guides the fire down naturally. This employs the principle of "like attracts like."
