颊车穴。在耳下八分。属足阳阴胃经。
少商穴。第一手指内甲角。属手太阴肺经。
商阳穴。第二手指外甲角。属手阳有大肠经。
中冲穴。第三手指中甲角。属手厥阳心包络经。
关冲穴。第四手指内甲角。属手少阳三焦经。
少冲穴。第五手指内甲角。属手少阴心经。
凡此六穴。应病行针。穴处俱离指甲一韭菜叶宽。如病者畏针穴之多。只针少商一穴。亦立起沉 。
宜针出恶血为妙。无血者不治。再用生姜擦针口。布条包裹。以避风袭入针口。

人有大小长短不同。以同身寸尺取之。人长则寸长。人短则寸短。老幼男妇皆然。取法男左

颊车在耳下。同身寸八分。曲颊端近前陷中。开口有空。即是穴。系阳明胃经。
颊车穴。位于耳下八分处。归属于足阳明胃经。
少商穴。位于大拇指内侧指甲角旁。归属于手太阴肺经。
商阳穴。位于食指外侧指甲角旁。归属于手阳明大肠经。
中冲穴。位于中指中间指甲角旁。归属于手厥阴心包络经。
关冲穴。位于无名指内侧指甲角旁。归属于手少阳三焦经。
少冲穴。位于小拇指内侧指甲角旁。归属于手少阴心经。
凡是这六个穴位，应根据病情进行针刺。针刺部位距离指甲边缘约一韭菜叶的宽度。如果患者畏惧针刺多个穴位，只针刺少商这一个穴位，也能立刻治愈重病。
适宜针刺放出恶血为妙。如果没有血液流出，则难以治疗。再用生姜擦拭针孔，用布条包裹，以防风邪侵入针口。

手太阴肺经在大拇指内侧，距离指甲角一韭菜叶宽处。

人的手指大小长短各不相同，应以同身寸法来测量取穴。人高则寸长，人矮则寸短，老人、幼儿、男性、女性都是如此。取穴方法为男取左手，女取右手。以屈曲中指，用草量其中间关节屈纹的宽度作为标准。

颊车穴在耳下，距离为同身寸八分，位于下颌角前方凹陷处，张口时有空隙，此处即是穴位。归属于足阳明胃经。
Jiache (ST6). Located 8 fen below the ear. It belongs to the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian.
Shaoshang (LU11). Located at the radial corner of the nail of the thumb. It belongs to the Hand-Taiyin Lung Meridian.
Shangyang (LI1). Located at the ulnar corner of the nail of the index finger. It belongs to the Hand-Yangming Large Intestine Meridian.
Zhongchong (PC9). Located at the center of the nail of the middle finger. It belongs to the Hand-Jueyin Pericardium Meridian.
Guanchong (TE1). Located at the radial corner of the nail of the ring finger. It belongs to the Hand-Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian.
Shaochong (HT9). Located at the radial corner of the nail of the little finger. It belongs to the Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian.
For these six acupoints, needles should be applied according to the disease. The needling site should be approximately one leek-leaf width away from the nail edge. If the patient fears multiple needle insertions, needling only Shaoshang (LU11) can also immediately cure severe conditions.
It is advisable to prick to release evil blood; if no blood flows, treatment is difficult. Subsequently, wipe the needle site with fresh ginger and wrap it with a cloth strip to prevent wind pathogens from entering the needle opening.

At the tip of the middle finger, one leek-leaf width away from the nail corner, lies the Hand-Jueyin Pericardium Meridian.

People have different finger sizes and lengths; therefore, the "body-inch" (Tongshen Cun) method should be used for measurement. A taller person has longer inches, and a shorter person has shorter inches; this applies to the elderly, children, men, and women alike. The method for men is to use the left hand, and for women, the right hand. The standard is obtained by flexing the middle finger and measuring the transverse crease of the middle phalanx with a piece of grass.

Jiache (ST6) is located 8 fen (using Tongshen Cun) below the ear, in the depression near the anterior end of the angle of the mandible. When the mouth is opened, a gap appears; this is the acupoint. It belongs to the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian.
