铺内多将郁李仁代之，不效矣。蕤仁形扁，打开去壳，净挪去内衣，如内衣壳不能去，将口中含去，
净仁二、三钱，用粗纸包，去油净，试纸上无一些油痕，用之乃效。
凡医诸眼之诀，必用授受口诀，医之乃效。如十将军冲翳揭膜之法，视碗内翳膜，或如豆腐油，或如
豆粉，竹膜牵丝，结核血核。冲熏无有翳膜下于碗内，则肝肺上障已尽，止眼中红丝牵缠白珠，吃上黑
珠，可将揭翳断丝之法，用盖世万捶膏，即赛宝丹，每早点之。凡点眼时，皆用饮食后，方许早点。或十
分重者，三、五年老翳浓膜，俱寅时点起。重者，自寅至午点十一遍；中者，自寅至午点九次；轻者，寅
时至午点七次；再轻者，自寅至午点五次。
点左歇右，点单不点双，过午不点。
问∶点眼如何不过午？
答曰∶子时者，一阳初生，乾卦管六个时辰；午时者，一阴初生，坤卦管六个时辰。故人身合天地，
阳生五脏六腑之气皆运于上。头乃诸阳之首，故午前用药则有效矣。此等不可与庸医俗子言之。
近午当瞑目养睛，则眼中瞳人不受其伤。如少年之人，欲火难禁，必别室独宿，方为保养。
用赛宝丹点七日，服大决明散七日。重者点七日，满七十七遍；中者点七日，满六十三遍；轻者点
七日；满四十九遍；再轻者点七日，满三十五遍。是法不可增也，亦不可减也，如法点完。二七内不点，
只服揭障丹，不可少。
如重者要服决明散，一切肝肺二经有未尽火，必当再服。
若仍生红丝翳膜，速将十将军冲翳散熏之，仍要揭尽内障，此谓永无后患。点之一月，可以全愈，不
必虑其后患矣。
如此一七服大决明散七剂，点赛宝丹七日；二七不点，服决明散、揭障丹相兼七日；三七服决明散，
点赛宝丹七日。翳障罄尽揭落，两目重明如故。三七后因事复患者，清心寡欲，饮食调匀，口不杂味，仍
似前早点，白日服决明散，夜晚服揭障丹二、三钱。其翳尽数落下，方见神圣工巧之妙。
铺子里的人大多用郁李仁来代替蕤仁，这样是不见效的。蕤仁形状扁平，剥开去掉外壳，仔细挑去内层的种皮，如果内层种皮无法去除，就含在口中嚼碎吐掉。取净仁二、三钱，用粗纸包裹，榨去油脂直到干净，试纸上没有一丝油痕，使用后才有效。
凡是治疗眼疾的要诀，必须通过师徒口授心传的方法，医生掌握了才能见效。比如“十将军冲翳揭膜”的方法，观察碗内的翳膜，有的像豆腐渣或豆粉，有的像竹膜牵丝，或者有结核状的血核。通过熏冲使翳膜脱落沉入碗底，说明肝肺上部的障蔽已经清除殆尽，只剩下眼中红丝缠绕白珠（巩膜），侵蚀黑珠（角膜/瞳孔）。这时可以使用“揭翳断丝”的方法，选用“盖世万捶膏”（即赛宝丹），每天早晨点眼。凡是用药点眼，都必须在进食之后，才允许早晨点药。如果是十分严重的病例，或者是三、五年形成的陈旧性厚翳浓膜，都要从寅时（凌晨3-5点）开始点药。重症者，从寅时到午时（中午11点-下午1点）共点十一遍；中症者，从寅时到午时共点九次；轻症者，从寅时到午时点七次；再轻者，从寅时到午时点五次。
点左眼时休息右眼，只点单侧不点双侧，过了午时就不再点药。
问：点眼为什么不过午时？
答：子时（夜间11点-凌晨1点）是一阳初生之时，乾卦掌管六个时辰；午时是一阴初生之时，坤卦掌管六个时辰。因此人体与天地相应，阳气生发时，五脏六腑的气血都运行于上部。头部是诸阳之会，所以午前用药才有效。这种道理不能跟庸医俗人讲。临近午时应当闭目养神，保护眼睛，这样眼中的瞳人就不会受到损伤。如果是年轻人，欲火难禁，必须另室独宿，这才是保养之道。
使用赛宝丹点眼七日，同时服用大决明散七日。重症者点眼七日，满七十七遍；中症者点眼七日，满六十三遍；轻症者点眼七日，满四十九遍；再轻者点眼七日，满三十五遍。这个次数不可增加，也不可减少，必须依法点完。如果在两个七天（十四天）内停止点药，只服用揭障丹，不可省略。
如果是重症需要服用决明散，对于肝肺二经未尽的火气，必须再次服用。
如果仍然生出红丝和翳膜，迅速用十将军冲翳散进行熏治，务必将内障彻底揭开，这就叫做永远没有后患。点药一个月，可以完全痊愈，不必担心后患了。
如此第一个七天服用大决明散七剂，点赛宝丹七日；第二个七天不点药，服用决明散和揭障丹混合服用七日；第三个七天服用决明散，点赛宝丹七日。当翳障全部揭落，双眼重新明亮如初。第三个七天后如果因事复发患者，需清心寡欲，饮食调和均匀，口中不吃杂味食物，仍然像之前一样早晨点药，白天服用决明散，夜晚服用揭障丹二、三钱。其翳障尽数落下，方能显现出神圣工巧医术的奇妙之处。
Shopkeepers often substitute apricot seeds (Xingren, 杏仁) or peaches seeds with bush cherry seeds (Yuliren, 郁李仁), which is ineffective. Prunus mume seed (Ruren, 蕤仁) is flat in shape; after cracking and removing the shell, carefully remove the inner testa. If the inner testa cannot be removed mechanically, it should be chewed in the mouth and spat out. Take two to three qian of clean kernels, wrap them in coarse paper, and press out the oil until clean. When no oil stain remains on the test paper, the preparation is effective for use.
The secret principles for treating all eye diseases must be transmitted orally from master to disciple; only then can the physician achieve efficacy. For example, in the method of "Ten Generals Rushing Opacity and Peeling Membrane," one observes the opacity and membrane in a bowl. These may resemble tofu dregs or bean flour, appear as bamboo-film-like filaments, or present as nodular blood masses. Through fumigation and rinsing, if the opacity and membrane fall into the bottom of the bowl, it indicates that the obstructions in the Liver and Lung meridians above have been completely cleared. Only red filaments remaining tangled around the white sclera (Bai Zhu) and encroaching upon the black cornea/pupil (Hei Zhu) remain. At this stage, the method of "Peeling Opacity and Cutting Filaments" can be employed using "Gaishai Wanchui Ointment" (also known as Saibao Dan). Apply this ointment to the eyes early each morning. Eye drops must always be administered after meals. For severe cases, or old opacities and thick membranes lasting three to five years, treatment should begin at Yin hour (03:00–05:00). For severe cases, apply eleven times from Yin hour to Wu hour (11:00–13:00); for moderate cases, nine times; for mild cases, seven times; and for very mild cases, five times within the same period.
When treating the left eye, rest the right eye; treat unilateral cases only, not bilateral ones. Do not administer drops after Wu hour.
Question: Why should eye drops not be administered after Wu hour?
Answer: Zi hour (23:00–01:00) marks the initial generation of Yang Qi, governed by the Qian trigram over six double-hours. Wu hour marks the initial generation of Yin Qi, governed by the Kun trigram over six double-hours. Thus, the human body corresponds to Heaven and Earth; when Yang Qi arises, the Qi of the Zang and Fu organs circulates to the upper part of the body. The head is the meeting point of all Yang meridians; therefore, medication administered before noon is effective. Such profound principles cannot be explained to mediocre physicians or vulgar people. Near noon, one should close the eyes and nourish the vision so that the pupil is not injured. Young people with uncontrollable lustful desires must sleep alone in a separate room to preserve their health.
Apply Saibao Dan for seven days, while taking Dajueming San (Great Cassia Decoction) for seven days. For severe cases, apply the drops seven days, totaling seventy-seven applications; for moderate cases, sixty-three applications; for mild cases, forty-nine applications; and for very mild cases, thirty-five applications. This frequency must neither be increased nor decreased; complete the course according to the method. If drops are stopped within two weeks (two sevens), only Jiezhang Dan (Opacity-Peeling Pill) should be taken without omission.
For severe cases requiring Dajueming San, if there is residual fire in the Liver and Lung meridians, it must be taken again.
If red filaments and opacities reappear, quickly fumigate with Shijijiang Chunyi San (Ten Generals Rushing Opacity Powder) and ensure all internal cataracts/opacities are fully peeled away. This is called permanent cure without future complications. After one month of drop application, full recovery can be achieved, and no worry about recurrence is necessary.
Thus, in the first week (seven days), take seven doses of Dajueming San and apply Saibao Dan for seven days. In the second week, do not apply drops; instead, take a combination of Dajueming San and Jiezhang Dan for seven days. In the third week, take Dajueming San and apply Saibao Dan for seven days. Once the opacities are completely peeled off and both eyes regain their original clarity, if a patient relapses after the third week due to external factors, they must cultivate a pure heart and few desires, maintain a balanced diet, avoid mixed flavors in food, and resume early morning drop application. During the day, take Dajueming San; at night, take two to three qian of Jiezhang Dan. When the opacities completely fall away, the miraculous efficacy of divine and skilled medicine will be revealed.
