男子精气清冷，或房劳过伤，以致肾水欠旺，不能直射子宫。宜固本健阳丹。
固本健阳丹
熟地黄 山茱萸（各三两） 巴戟肉（二两） 菟丝子（拣净） 川续断（酒浸） 远志肉（制） 蛇床子
（炒，各两半） 茯神 山药（酒蒸） 牛膝（酒洗） 杜仲（酒炒断丝） 当归身（酒洗） 肉苁蓉（酒浸）
五味子 益智仁（盐水炒） 鹿茸（酥炙，各一两） 枸杞子（三两） 人参（二两）
上为末，蜜丸梧子大。空心淡盐汤下，临卧再服。
男子阳旺，则能直射子宫。若阳痿精冷，宜菟丝丸；若肾气不能通利，宜五子衍宗丸。
菟丝丸
菟丝子（酒浸蒸）研末，雀卵清为丸，梧子大，每服七十丸，空心温酒下。若年至五十而阳痿者，菟丝子一
斤，加天雄四两（面裹煨熟，去皮脐，童便制）为末，同丸服之尤效。
五子衍宗丸
枸杞子（八两） 菟丝子（酒煮，八两） 五味子（一两） 覆盆子（去蒂，四两） 车前子（炒，二两）
为末，蜜丸。空心白汤下九十丸。
男子精寒，肾中之精寒也，精虽射入子宫，而元阳不足，则阴无以化，是以不孕，孕而多女也。宜毓麟珠。
毓麟珠
熟地黄 当归 菟丝子（制，各四两） 淮山药（姜汁制） 枸杞子 胡桃肉 巴戟肉 鹿角胶 鹿角霜 杜仲（酒
炒） 山茱萸（去核） 川椒（去目） 人参 白术（蜜炙） 茯苓 白芍（酒炒，各二两） 川芎 炙甘草（各一两）
上为末，蜜丸梧子大。空心白汤下，每服七十八丸。
男子精气清稀且寒冷，或因房事过度损伤，导致肾水不足旺盛，无法直接射入子宫。适宜使用固本健阳丹。

熟地黄、山茱萸（各三两）、巴戟天肉（二两）、菟丝子（拣选干净）、川续断（酒浸）、远志肉（炮制）、蛇床子（炒，各一两半）、茯神、山药（酒蒸）、牛膝（酒洗）、杜仲（酒炒至断丝）、当归身（酒洗）、肉苁蓉（酒浸）、五味子、益智仁（盐水炒）、鹿茸（酥炙，各一两）、枸杞子（三两）、人参（二两）。
以上药物研为细末，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。空腹时用淡盐汤送服，临睡前再服一次。
男子阳气旺盛，则能直接将精液射入子宫。若出现阳痿、精液寒冷，适宜使用菟丝丸；若肾气不能通利，适宜使用五子衍宗丸。
菟丝丸
菟丝子（酒浸后蒸熟）研成细末，用雀卵的清液作为粘合剂制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子，每次服用七十丸，空腹时用温酒送服。如果年龄到了五十岁而患有阳痿的，取菟丝子一斤，加入天雄四两（用面粉包裹煨熟，去掉皮和脐，用童子小便炮制），研成细末，与前面的药同做成药丸服用，效果更佳。
五子衍宗丸
枸杞子（八两）、菟丝子（酒煮，八两）、五味子（一两）、覆盆子（去蒂，四两）、车前子（炒，二两）。
研为细末，用蜂蜜制成丸剂。空腹时用白开水送服九十丸。
男子精寒，是指肾中的精液寒冷。虽然精液能射入子宫，但因元阳不足，阴精无法化生，所以导致不孕，即使怀孕也多生女孩。适宜使用毓麟珠。
毓麟珠
熟地黄、当归、菟丝子（炮制，各四两）、淮山药（姜汁炮制）、枸杞子、胡桃肉、巴戟天肉、鹿角胶、鹿角霜、杜仲（酒炒）、山茱萸（去核）、川椒（去目）、人参、白术（蜜炙）、茯苓、白芍（酒炒，各二两）、川芎、炙甘草（各一两）。
以上药物研为细末，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。空腹时用白开水送服，每次服用七十八丸。
Males with clear and cold seminal fluid, or those injured by excessive sexual activity, resulting in insufficient flourishing of Kidney Water (Jin Ye/Kidney Essence), are unable to directly project the semen into the uterus. Gu Ben Jian Yang Dan (Solidify the Root and Strengthen Yang Pill) is suitable.

Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia Root), Shan Zhu Yu (Cornus Fruit) [each 3 liang], Ba Ji Rou (Morinda Officinalis Flesh), Tu Si Zi (Cuscuta Seed) [picked clean], Chuan Xu Duan (Dipsacus Root) [soaked in wine], Yuan Zhi Rou (Polygala Root Flesh) [processed], She Chuang Zi (Cnidium Fruit) [stir-fried, each 1.5 liang], Fu Shen (Poria with Hostwood), Shan Yao (Chinese Yam) [steamed with wine], Niu Xi (Achyranthes Root) [washed with wine], Du Zhong (Eucommia Bark) [stir-fried with wine until fibers break], Dang Gui Shen (Angelica Sinensis Root Body) [washed with wine], Rou Cong Rong (Cistanche Stem) [soaked in wine], Wu Wei Zi (Schisandra Fruit), Yi Zhi Ren (Alpinia Oxyphylla Fruit) [stir-fried with salt water], Lu Rong (Deer Antler without Bone) [roasted with butter, each 1 liang], Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berry) [3 liang], Ren Shen (Ginseng Root) [2 liang].
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, and make pills the size of wutong seeds using honey. Take with light salt water on an empty stomach, and take again before going to bed.
When male Yang Qi (Vital Energy) is vigorous, it can directly project semen into the uterus. If impotence and cold semen occur, Tu Si Wan (Cuscuta Pill) is suitable; if Kidney Qi cannot flow freely, Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan (Five-Seed Ancestry-Prolonging Pill) is suitable.
Tu Si Wan (Cuscuta Pill)
Tu Si Zi (Cuscuta Seed) [soaked in wine and steamed] is ground into powder, and pills the size of wutong seeds are made using the white of quail eggs. Take 70 pills per dose with warm wine on an empty stomach. For those aged fifty who suffer from impotence, add Tian Xiong (Aconitum Lateralis Radix Praeparata) 4 liang [wrapped in flour, roasted until cooked, skin and navel removed, processed with urine of a young boy] to 1 jin of Tu Si Zi, grind into powder, and make pills together for better efficacy.
Wu Zi Yan Zong Wan (Five-Seed Ancestry-Prolonging Pill)
Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berry) [8 liang], Tu Si Zi (Cuscuta Seed) [boiled in wine, 8 liang], Wu Wei Zi (Schisandra Fruit) [1 liang], Fu Pen Zi (Raspberry Fruit) [stalks removed, 4 liang], Che Qian Zi (Plantago Seed) [stir-fried, 2 liang].
Grind into fine powder, and make pills using honey. Take 90 pills with plain boiled water on an empty stomach.
Male cold semen refers to coldness within the Kidney's essence. Although the semen may be projected into the uterus, due to insufficiency of Primordial Yang (Yuan Yang), Yin Essence cannot be transformed, leading to infertility; even if pregnancy occurs, it tends to result in female offspring. Yu Lin Zhu (Fertility Pearl) is suitable.

Shu Di Huang (Prepared Rehmannia Root), Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis Root), Tu Si Zi (Cuscuta Seed) [processed, each 4 liang], Huai Shan Yao (Chinese Yam) [processed with ginger juice], Gou Qi Zi (Goji Berry), Hu Tao Rou (Walnut Kernel), Ba Ji Rou (Morinda Officinalis Flesh), Lu Jiao Jiao (Deer Antler Glue), Lu Jiao Shuang (Deer Antler Frost), Du Zhong (Eucommia Bark) [stir-fried with wine], Shan Zhu Yu (Cornus Fruit) [pitted], Chuan Jiao (Sichuan Pepper) [eyes removed), Ren Shen (Ginseng Root), Bai Zhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome) [honey-roasted), Fu Ling (Poria), Bai Shao (White Peony Root) [stir-fried with wine, each 2 liang], Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum Rhizome), Zhi Gan Cao (Honey-fried Licorice Root) [each 1 liang].
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder, and make pills the size of wutong seeds using honey. Take with plain boiled water on an empty stomach, 78 pills per dose.
