古甘橘叶、白酒糟，杵细、缚痛处。或大段痛，用火烧，令用红醋并米泔泼地上，急铺席。患人去席。上卧，蒸出汗。内则服药，外则贴掩，则易安。
右夜合树皮四两，炒干沬之。入麝香、乳香各一钱重。每服三大钱，温酒调，不饥不饱时服。
右为末，傅疮口上，血止又接得骨。
草乌白者去皮脐木鳖子白胶香五灵脂各三两半川当归班猫百个，去羽足，酷煮右为末。用黑豆去皮，生杵，取粉一斤，酷糊，共搜杵为圆，如鸡头大。每服一圆，温酒磨下。筋骨疾但未曾针伤炙损者，三五服立效。此药曾医一人软风不能行，不十日立效。专治心、肾、肝三经，通小便，除淋沥，通荣卫，滑经络。此方传自净因寺圣僧处得之，大有奇效。
治诸寒疟等疾
治脾胃有积，久不克化。或原有此证，遂成寒疟之疾，或先寒后热，或先热后寒，或但热不寒，或但寒不热，或疼谵语。除伤寒之外，是疟疾者皆治之
人参木香官桂白术茯苓黄连附子柴胡黄耆厚朴甘草麻黄各三钱重肉豆蔻十个槟榔五个
右（口父）咀。每服三大钱，水一盏，生姜三片，乌梅一个，同煎至七分，入酒少许。又煎三五沸，温服此药，兼治虚弱之人。

治久患劳疟
右（口父）咀。每服五大钱，酒水各一小盏，童子小便半盏，同煎至五分。当发日，五更初，面北服。
治久疟久痞
川乌大者二个，生去皮脐
右为末。每服一大钱，水一碗，枣七个，煎至七分。五更时，冷服。
右件为末，糊为圆，如此○大。每服一圆，冷水五更初下。忌生冷物。
右件药，取五月五日为末。面南用粽子角为圆，如梧桐子大。每服一圆，用新绵裹，男左女右耳内安，发日用之。
右二味，火上留性，为末。每服三钱，雄猪胆一个，水一盏，温和胆汁调下，立效。
龟甲不拘多少
右一味，醋炙，令黄为末。每服二钱，温酒调下，空心食前及临卧时各一服。

右锉味捶碎，水一碗，揉令皂角消尽。绢二重滤过，取十分清汁，将脱肛肠浸在药水中。其肠自收，不用手荡。如大(道按；大下脱肠字)收了，更用汤烫其腰肛上下，令皂角气行，则不再作三次荡。

巴豆干姜韭子良姜硫黄甘遂白槟榔(各等分)右为末，研饭为圆，如此○大。用时早朝使椒汤洗手了，麻油涂手掌口握药一粒，移时便泻止，即以冷水洗手。

巴豆一百粒，去壳，水洗四十九次五灵月旨
白姜赤茯苓(茯苓下有各一两三字)右为末，用醋糊圆，如绿豆大。每服五圆，冷茶清，五更初服。或欲泻止，冷水洗手、面、脚三处，立佳。

治疗跌打损伤筋骨

以上药材研成粉末，敷在疮口上，血止住后再接骨。
治疗筋骨各种疾病、手足不能随意运动、行动不便、全身风疮（左经圆）
草乌（白色者去皮脐）、木鳖子、白胶香、五灵脂各三两半，川当归、班猫一百个（去羽毛和脚，用醋煮）。以上药材研成粉末。用黑豆去皮，生捣取粉一斤，用醋调成糊状，与药粉混合捣匀制成丸药，大小如鸡头。每次服用一丸，用温酒磨化送下。筋骨疾病只要未曾被针扎或艾灸损伤的，服用三五次立即见效。此药曾医治过一位患软风病不能行走的人，不到十天立即见效。专门治疗心、肾、肝三经的疾病，通利小便，消除淋沥不尽，调和营卫，滑利经络。此方是从净因寺圣僧处得来的，大有奇效。
治疗各种寒疟等疾病
治疗脾胃有积滞，长久不能消化。或者原本就有此证，于是形成寒疟的疾病，或者先冷后热，或者先热后冷，或者只热不冷，或者只冷不热，或者疼痛谵语。除了伤寒之外，凡是疟疾都治疗。
人参、木香、官桂、白术、茯苓、黄连、附子、柴胡、黄耆、厚朴、甘草、麻黄各三钱重，肉豆蔻十个，槟榔五个
以上药材切碎。每次服用三大钱，用水一盏，生姜三片，乌梅一个，同煎至七分，加入少许酒。再煎三五沸，温服。此药兼治虚弱之人。

Ancient method for treating pain: Use leaves of Citrus reticulata 'Chachi' (Gan Ju Ye) and distiller's grains from white wine (Bai Jiu Zao), pound them finely, and bind to the painful area. If the pain is severe, heat it by fire, then sprinkle red vinegar and rice washing water on the ground, and quickly spread a mat. The patient lies on the mat, steaming until sweating occurs. Internal administration of medicine combined with external application facilitates recovery.
Treatment for trauma and injury to tendons and bones
Take four liang of bark from Albizia julibrissin (Ye He Shu Pi), stir-fry until dry, and powder it. Add one qian each of Moschus (She Xiang) and Boswellia carterii (Ru Xiang). Take three da qian per dose, mixed with warm wine, taken when not hungry or full.
Treatment for bleeding from knife or arrow wounds that does not stop, and bone fractures
One Areca catechu seed (Bing Lang), and three qian each of Aucklandia root (Mu Xiang) and Coptis chinensis var. hookeri (Hu Huang Lian).
Powder the above ingredients and apply to the wound. Once bleeding stops, set the bone.
Treatment for various tendon and bone diseases, paralysis of limbs, inability to walk, and generalized wind sores (Zuo Jing Wan)
Take three liang and half each of Aconitum carmichaelii (Cao Wu - use white ones, remove skin and umbilicus), Elaeagnus multiflora (Mu Bie Zi), Liquidambar formosana resin (Bai Jiao Xiang), and Trogopterus dung (Wu Ling Zhi); one tael of Angelica sinensis (Chuan Dang Gui); and one hundred Banmao (Pheretima aspergillum, remove feathers and feet, boil in vinegar). Powder the above ingredients. Take one jin of flour from black soybeans (Vigna angularis, remove skin, raw pound), mix with vinegar paste, combine with the powder, and pound into pills the size of a chicken head. Take one pill per dose, ground down with warm wine. For tendon and bone diseases that have not been injured by acupuncture or moxibustion, immediate effect is seen after three to five doses. This medicine once cured a person suffering from soft wind disease who could not walk, with immediate effect within ten days. It specifically treats the Heart, Kidney, and Liver meridians, promotes urination, eliminates dribbling, harmonizes Ying and Wei, and lubricates collaterals. This formula was obtained from a holy monk at Jingyin Temple and has great miraculous efficacy.
Treatment for trauma swelling and pain, and wind-cold
Equal parts of Pinellia ternata (Tian Nan Xing), Pinellia rhizoma prepared (Ban Xia), and Pheretima (Di Long).
Powder the above ingredients. Mix with fresh ginger juice and mint juice, and apply to the painful area.
Treatment for various cold malaria and other diseases
Treating accumulation in the Spleen and Stomach that cannot be digested for a long time. Or having this syndrome originally, which develops into cold malaria, characterized by chills preceding fever, fever preceding chills, only fever without chills, only chills without fever, or pain with delirious speech. Besides Shang Han (Cold Damage), all types of malaria are treated.
Three qian each of Ginseng radix (Ren Shen), Aucklandiae radix (Mu Xiang), Cinnamomi cortex (Guan Gui), Atractylodis macrocephalae rhizoma (Bai Zhu), Poria (Fu Ling), Coptidis rhizoma (Huang Lian), Aconiti lateralis radix preparata (Fu Zi), Bupleuri radix (Chai Hu), Astragali radix (Huang Qi), Magnoliae officinalis cortex (Hou Po), Glycyrrhizae radix (Gan Cao), Ephedrae herba (Ma Huang); ten Nutmegs (Rou Dou Kou); five Areca seeds (Bing Lang).
Decoct the above ingredients. Take three da qian per dose, with one sheng of water, three slices of fresh ginger, and one dark plum (Wu Mei). Decoct to 70%, add a little wine, and boil for three to five more boils. Take warm. This medicine also treats weak persons.
Another prescription: Half liang each of Alpiniae officinarum rhizome (Bai Jiang) and Galangal rhizome (Liang Jiang) (half stir-fried, half raw).
Powder the above ingredients. Take two qian per dose, mixed with pig kidney and wine.
Treatment for chronic labor malaria
One tael each of Bupleuri radix (Chai Hu) and Swertia mileensis (Heng Shan); half liang each of Gentiana macrophylla (Qin Jiao) and Glycyrrhizae radix (Gan Cao).
Decoct the above ingredients. Take five da qian per dose, with one small sheng of wine and water, and half a sheng of urine from an uncircumcised boy. Decoct to 50%. On the day of onset, take facing north at wu geng (3-5 AM).
Treatment for chronic malaria and chronic痞 (fullness)
Two large Uncaria rhynchophylla (Chuan Wu), raw, remove skin and umbilicus.
Powder the above ingredients. Take one da qian per dose, with one bowl of water and seven dates. Decoct to 70%. Take cold at wu geng.
Another prescription: One qian each of Calomelas (Fen Shuang) and Cinnabaris (Zhu Sha); seven qian of Mung bean starch (Lu Dou Fen).
Powder the above ingredients, make pills with paste, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take one pill per dose with cold water at wu geng. Avoid raw and cold foods.
Jian Nue Dan
Equal parts of Indigo naturalis (Luo Qing), Sulphur (Liu Huang), Cinnamomi cortex (Guan Gui), Alum (Bai Fan), and Crotonis semen (Ba Dou, oil removed).
On the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, powder the above ingredients. Facing south, make pills using zongzi corners, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take one pill per dose, wrapped in new cotton, inserted into the ear (left for males, right for females), used on the day of onset.
Another prescription: Equal parts of Galangal rhizome (Liang Jiang) and Alpiniae officinarum rhizome (Bai Jiang).
Retain the nature of these two ingredients over fire, powder them. Take three qian per dose, mixed with bile from a male pig and one sheng of water. Take warm, immediate effect.
Formula for cold malaria and labor malaria
Uncounted amount of Testudinis carapax et plastrum (Gui Jia).
Stir-fry with vinegar until yellow, then powder. Take two qian per dose with warm wine, once before meals on an empty stomach and once before bed.
Formula for malaria
One head of Allium sativum (Da Suan), divided into four parts.
Place one grain of Crotonis semen (Ba Dou) meat inside each piece, wrap in wet paper, roast until cooked. Remove Ba Dou, mix with Minium (Huang Dan) to make pills the size of a chicken head. Take one pill per dose. If chills precede fever, decoct seven cun of peach branches (facing east) in water, take facing north at wu geng on the day of onset. If fever precedes chills, take with cold water. If not fully recovered upon next onset, take another dose to eradicate the root.

Treatment for intestinal wind with bloody stool
Five liang of Pharbitidis semen (Qian Niu); three liang of Gleditsia sinensis fruit (Ya Zao, non-borer).
Soak the above two ingredients in water for three days, remove the Gleditsia fruit, boil with one sheng of wine until dry, bake, and powder. Make pills with refined honey, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take seven pills per dose with warm wine on an empty stomach. Take once on an empty stomach, at noon, midnight, and before bed. Discharging yellow matter is acceptable; the disease can be cured. Afterwards, take five pills daily with food.
Another prescription: Mushroom from Gleditsia sinensis tree (Suo).
Bake on a new tile until dry, powder. Take one qian per dose with warm wine.
Treatment for hematochezia in men, metrorrhagia in women, and bleeding from intestines
Cardamom seed (Dou Kou) and Areca seed (Bing Lang), stir-fried until purple; Poppy capsule (Ying Su Qiao), burnt to ash.
Equal parts of the above three ingredients, uncounted amount, powder. Take two qian per dose with rice drink, on an empty stomach.
Treatment for intestinal wind with bloody stool
Equal parts of Walnut shell (He Tao Qiao), cocoon residue (Jian Tui), leather shoe sole, and Celosia cristata flower (Chi Ji Guan Hua).
Burn the above four ingredients to ash, powder. Take one qian per dose with warm wine, on an empty stomach.
Treatment for intestinal wind
One sheng of small red adzuki beans (Xiao Chi Dou).
Stir-fry on a tile until black, powder. Take three qian per dose with porridge drink. Take three times daily, before meals.
Another prescription: Three Trichosanthes kirilowii fruits (Gua Lou).
Burn to ash, retain nature, powder. Take three qian per dose with rice soup, on an empty stomach.
Another prescription: Fern flowers (Jue Cai Hua).
Unlimited amount, bake on gentle fire until dry, powder. Take three qian per dose with rice drink.
Another prescription: Three liang of Jin Xing Cao, same amount of aged dried ginger.
Powder finely. Take one qian per dose with fresh well water, on an empty stomach.
Treatment for intestinal wind
Uncounted amount of Luffa cylindrica fruit (Mian Gua), also known as Man Gua, Tian Luo, or Tian Si Gua.
Burn to ash, retain nature. Take two qian mixed with wine, on an empty stomach.
Treatment for intestinal wind, rectal prolapse, and blood
Uncounted amount of Cnidium monnieri fruit (She Chuang Zi).
Stir-fry and powder. Apply to the prolapsed rectum to immediately retract it, very effective.
Treatment for intestinal wind, prolapse not retracting, and bleeding
Five stalks of non-borer Gleditsia sinensis fruit (Bu Zhu Sao Jiao).
Chop and crush, add one bowl of water, rub until dissolved. Filter through double-layer silk, take clear juice. Immerse the prolapsed rectum in the medicinal liquid. The intestine will retract itself without manual pushing. Once retracted, scald the waist and anus up and down with hot water to circulate the Gleditsia qi, preventing recurrence.
Treatment for intestinal wind
Half liang each of Terminalia chebula fruit (Wu Bei Zi) and Alum (Bai Fan).
Powder, make pills with flowing water, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take seven pills per dose with rice drink on an empty stomach. Avoid alcohol.
Treatment for intestinal wind and intestinal toxin, applicable to both men and women
Two heads of Allium sativum (Da Suan), roasted in paper until cooked, mashed into paste; two he of Fermented soybean (Dan Dou Chi), moistened, skin removed, mashed into paste.
Make pills. Take twenty pills per dose with rice drink on an empty stomach.
Treatment for intestinal wind, intestinal toxin, alcohol dysentery, and bloody stool
Coptidis rhizoma (Huang Lian) and Fresh ginger (Sheng Jiang).
Decoct these two ingredients in water to take with Er Qi Wan, then take Wu Kuai Wan. Formula follows.
Wu Kuai Wan
Equal parts of Terminalia chebula fruit (Wu Bei Zi) and Sophora japonica flower (Huai Hua). Bake dry, powder, make pills with wine paste, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Take twenty pills per dose with rice soup on an empty stomach, three times daily.
Another prescription: Angelica sinensis (Chuan Dang Gui), Aurantii fructus (Zhi Ke), Platycladi cacumen (Ce Bai Ye), Sophora japonica flower (Chen Huai Zi), Paeonia lactiflora root (Shao Yao), and Carbonized herb powder (Bai Cao Shuang - each one liang).
Chop together, stir-fry until slight smoke rises, powder. Take two qian per dose with warm wine on an empty stomach, and with rice soup at noon, before meals. Very effective.
Treatment for tapeworm and other conditions
Removal of tapeworm
One tael each of Tin calx (Xi Hui) and Elaeagnus multiflora (Mu Bie); twenty wen of Aloe (Lu Hui); ten wen each of Minium (Huang Dan) and Calomelas (Qing Fen).
Powder, make pills with pork fat, size of ○. Fasting for one day, no dinner, swallow with warm water at wu geng next morning, divide into two doses.
Another prescription: Ten wen of Tin calx (Xi Hui).
Powder finely, make pills with jujube flesh, size of Sophora japonica seeds. Single dose. Fast for one day, eat a slice of roasted lean pork at wu geng next day, then take with warm water.
Another prescription
Pound fresh mustard leaves (Sheng Jie Ye) finely, dissolve in well water, take one sheng of juice. Eat a slice of roasted pork at wu geng, then take mustard juice, excrete at si shi.
Removal of tapeworm
Ten wen of Myrobalan (Wang Ti); two Chinese nutgall (Ji Xin Bing Lang); half liang of Wolf's tooth herb (Lang Ya Cao); three wen of Omphalia lapidescens (Lei Wan); a little Calomelas (Qing Fen).
Powder. Take two da qian per dose with clear tea at four geng. Brew tea overnight, take clear part at four geng.
Formula to expel tapeworm
Seven Crotonis semen (Ba Dou), shell removed, oil extracted; one qian of Gleditsia sinensis fruit powder (Sao Jiao), skin removed.
Grind Beijing ink with vinegar paste to make pills, size of ○. Two eyes, take with tangerine peel soup at wu geng.
Formula to remove tapeworm
Uncounted amount of bitter melon seeds (Ku Mian Gua Zi).
Powder. Take two qian per dose with good wine half sheng, on an empty stomach.
Formula to remove tapeworm
Equal parts of Kaolin (Hua Fen) and Litharge (Mi Tuo Seng).
Powder. Take two qian per dose with sesame oil, on an empty stomach, expectorated as saliva shortly.
Another prescription
Tin powder (Ding Fen).
Finely grind. Take one qian per dose with raw sesame oil. Take at wu geng, excrete at night.
Treatment for various women's diseases
Treatment for women's irregular menstruation with alternating chills and fever resembling consumptive fatigue
One tael each of Angelica sinensis (Chuan Dang Gui), Ligusticum wallichii (Chuan Xiong), Glycyrrhizae radix (Gan Cao), Astragali radix (Huang Qi), and Cinnamomi cortex (Gui, remove coarse bark); one and a half tael of Rehmanniae glutinosa radix preparata (Shu Di Huang); half liang of Atractylodis macrocephalae rhizoma (Bai Zhu); two liang of Paeonia lactiflora root (Bai Shao); half liang of Bupleuri radix (Chai Hu); half liang of Donkey-hide gel (E Jiao).
Powder finely. Take five qian per dose with one jujube and one and a half sheng of water, decoct to one sheng, take warm on empty stomach. Taking with plain water is also acceptable. Regular use prevents leukorrhea, regulates blood vessels, nourishes the uterus, ensuring lifelong health. Treats damage to Chong and Ren meridians, irregular menstruation, heavy or continuous flow, intermittent spotting, delayed menstruation, or excessive bleeding after intercourse. Also treats threatened miscarriage with lower abdominal pain, fever, diarrhea, and palmar heat. Also treats infertility.
Three liang of Evodiae fructus (Wu Zhu Yu, remove closed-eyed ones, wash three times with boiling water); two and a half liang each of Angelica sinensis (Chuan Dang Gui) and Pinellia rhizoma preparata (Ban Xia); five liang of Ophiopogonis tuber (Mai Men Dong, remove heart); one tael each of Ligusticum wallichii (Xiong Lao), Ginseng radix (Ren Shen), Paeonia lactiflora root (Shao Yao), Moutan cortex (Mu Dan Pi), Cinnamomi cortex (Gui, remove coarse bark), fried Donkey-hide gel (E Jiao), and roasted Licorice root (Gan Cao).
Chop into pieces. Take three qian per dose with one and a half sheng of water and five slices of fresh ginger, decoct to eight tenths, strain, take hot on empty stomach before meals.
Treatment for women's red and white leukorrhea
Half liang of Dragon bone (Long Gu); three qian of imported sulfur (Bo Shang Liu Huang).
Powder. Take half qian per dose with unfiltered old wine on an empty stomach, three doses. Regardless of duration, ensure complete recovery.

Treatment for the manifestations and methods of ten types of carbuncles and swellings in children
1. Fei Zao Dan: Starts from the top of the head, swollen and shiny; apply natural juice of green onion white.
2. Ji Zao Dan: Red and swollen on the head, painful; apply mixture of adzuki bean powder and egg white.
3. Gui Da Dan: Starts from the face, red and swollen; apply mixture of hearth soil and egg white.
4. Tian Huo Dan: Starts from the back, red and black; apply mixture of Mulberry root bark powder and sheep fat.
5. Tian Zao Dan: Red and swollen on both arms, yellow; apply mixture of willow wood ash and water.
6. Shui Dan: Swollen on both flanks; apply mixture of raw iron powder and pig manure.
7. Hu Ci Dan: Starts from above the navel, yellow and swollen; apply mixture of Areca seed powder and vinegar.
8. Ye Huo Dan: Red and swollen on both feet; apply mixture of Frankincense powder and sheep fat.
9. Yan Huo Dan: Starts from both feet, with red and white spots; apply mixture of earth under pig trough and sesame oil.
10. Hu Lou Dan: Starts from the genitals, yellow and swollen; apply mixture of house leak soil and sheep fat.
These ten types of carbuncle toxins change rapidly; if treatment is delayed, they may become incurable. I do not spare this formula; carefully identify each type and treat according to these methods, never failing. If not healed after three days and entering the zang-fu organs, it becomes incurable and should not be delayed.
Treatment for infant slow convulsion, cold extremities, open mouth and locked jaw, excessive salivation (Bao Ming Dan)
One tiger eye, place on tile, cover with bean, dry slowly over fire; half xi of Cinnabar (Zhu Sha); two centipedes (Wu Gong), remove head and tail, use red-footed ones; half qian of Moschus (She Xiang); half qian of Full scorpion (Quan Xie); one fen of Gastrodia elata (Tian Ma).
Powder finely, make pills with refined honey, size of ○. Store in clay jar, add brain and musk, seal tightly. For acute convulsion, dissolve in mint honey water; for slow convulsion, dissolve in mint water, three pills each. Adjust dosage based on child's size. Can also be taken for minor palpitations. (Note: Slow convulsion is deficiency syndrome, different from acute convulsion).
Another prescription: One red-footed centipede (remove head and tail), scorpion tip, seven Aconitum carmichaelii tips (Cao Wu Jian), three Pinellia rhizomes (Ban Xia).
Bake dry, powder. Add thirty wen of Moschus (She Xiang) and half qian bi of Calomelas (Qing Fen). Make pills with fresh ginger juice, size of ○. Take three pills per dose, dissolve in silver-gold mint water, then apply raw Cinnabar mixed with water to the center of the child's foot sole, excellent.
Treatment for pediatric toxic qi attacking cheeks causing scary swelling and redness
Two liang of Gleditsia sinensis fruit (Sao Jiao), remove root (root likely means core); two qian of Pinellia ternata (Tian Nan Xing), raw; one he of glutinous rice, powder.
Powder finely. Mix with ginger juice and apply, immediate effect.
Treatment for pediatric convulsion
Equal parts of Poria (Fu Ling), Glycyrrhizae radix (Gan Cao), Cinnabar (Zhu Sha), Indigo naturalis (Qing Dai), and Mercurius sublimatus corrodens (Ni Fen).
Add a little Moschus (She Xiang). Take one qian per dose with honey water.
Treatment for pediatric convulsive heat
Seven Scorpions (Xie); one qian of Pinellia ternata heart powder (Tian Nan Xin); three qian each of Ginseng radix (Ren Shen) and Snake slough (She Tui).
Powder, take with mint and honey water.
Treatment for pediatric wind toxicity
One liang of Pharbitidis semen (Bai Qian Niu, half stir-fried); three qian of Rhubarb (Da Huang); one qian each of Tangerine peel (Qing Pi), Licorice root (Gan Cao), and Mirabilite (Piao Xiao).

Formula for generalized edema in children
Three xi of Black Pharbitidis semen (Hei Qian Niu), pieces; one liang each of Cyathula root (Qing Mu Xiang), Tangerine peel (Qing Pi), Saposhnikovia root (Fang Feng), and Areca seed (Bing Lang).
Powder, make pills with flour paste, size of mustard seeds. Take twenty pills per dose with Luffa root bark soup.
Xiao Du Gu Qi Yin
Equal parts of Ginseng radix (Ren Shen), Poria (Fu Ling), Glycyrrhizae radix (Gan Cao), and Cimicifugae rhizoma (Sheng Ma).
Powder finely. Take half qian per dose with one slice of fresh ginger and half sheng of jujubes, decoct to one large sip, take warm, anytime.
Treatment for persistent vomiting and diarrhea in children
Dragon bone (Long Gu), burnt to retain nature; equal parts of Talcum (Hua Shi) and Tin powder (Ding Fen).
Powder. Take one to two qian per dose with hot water.
Treatment for pediatric epilepsy
Pinellia ternata (Tian Nan Xing).
Roast until cracked, remove fire toxicity, remove black skin, unlimited amount, powder. Take half qian per dose with ginger, mint, honey, and wine.
Treatment for pediatric malnutrition with yellow emaciation and vomiting
One qian of Aconitum carmichaelii (Chuan Wu); three qian of Tin powder (Ding Fen); two qian of Mustard ash (Jie Hui); Dragon bone (Long Gu) as above.
Powder, make pills with drops of water, size of longan seed, make cakes. Take one cake per dose, grind down with rice drink.
Secret formula for pediatric malnutrition (Lu Hui Wan)
Equal parts of Aloe (Lu Hui), Schizonepeta spike (Jing Jie), Black Pharbitidis semen (Hei Qian Niu), and Tangerine peel (Qing Pi), processed.
Process finely, roast, powder, make pills with flour paste, size of large millet. One pill for children under one year, or two pills, adjust as needed.
Treatment for pediatric headache impending onset, dim vision, goiter, bad voice, tongue chewing (Ci Huang Wan)
One tael each of Realgar (Ci Huang) and Minium (Huang Dan), sand-roasted; one qian of Moschus (She Xiang), ground.
Powder, mix thoroughly, boil half sheng of cow milk into paste, add powder, pound 300-500 times, make pills size of mung bean. Take three pills per dose with warm water, three times daily. Obtained from a famous doctor, later passed to a poor doctor, greatly promoting medical practice.
Treatment for pediatric convulsion with accumulated heat
Seven Full scorpions (Quan Xie), remove poison; twenty-one Cicada slough (Chan Tui); one large Gastrodia elata (Tian Nan Xing), roasted until fragrant; Licorice root (Gan Cao).
Powder. Take half qian per dose with half sheng of water and seven mint leaves, decoct to 70%, take warm.
Treatment for pediatric convulsive heat
Two liang of Aragonite (Han Shui Shi); one liang of Licorice root (Gan Cao); four xi of Horse tooth nitre (Ma Ya Xiao); one fen of Cinnabar (Zhu Sha).
Powder finely, add thirty wen each of Brain (Nao) and Moschus (She Xiang), knead with refined honey. Make pills size of longan seed, store in porcelain jar. Take one or half pill per dose, adjust based on child's size and strength, dissolve in cool mint water.
Treatment for pediatric asthma
Minium (Huang Dan) and Realgar (Pi Shuang).
Use raw, powder. Make pills with jujube flesh, size of hemp seed. Take three pills per dose with cold clear tea before sleep.
Treatment for pediatric red heat and swelling
Equal parts of Rhubarb (Da Huang) and Alum (Bai Fan).
Powder, mix with cold water to make patches, apply to eyes, immediate effect.
Formulas for miscellaneous diseases
Treatment for fishbone stuck
White Poria (Bai Fu Ling).
Slice finely, powder. Decoct the stuck bone in water, mix with powder and take.
Formula for facial warts due to karmic retribution
Moxibustion with ten moxa cones on the affected area, then grind realgar (Xiong Huang) with vinegar, paint on paper, cut size of snail patch, apply to moxa site. Cover with plaster. Change every two days. When itchy, squeeze out pus like mung bean powder, then healed.
Treatment for night sweats
