Figure of the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian
The bladder weighs nine taels and two zhu, is nine cun in length and width, and is located below the kidneys. It lies to the side of the large intestine. The lower opening of the small intestine serves as the upper opening of the bladder, where fluids seep into it. It holds nine sheng and nine he of essence and urine.
The *Suwen: Linglan Midian Lun* states: "The bladder is the official of the Zhoudu (State Capital), where fluids are stored; only through Qi transformation can they be discharged." The *Ben Cang* chapter states: "The Kidney corresponds to the bones. Those with dense texture and thick skin have a thick Sanjiao (Triple Burner) and bladder; those with coarse texture and thin skin have a thin Sanjiao and bladder. Those with loose interstices have a lax Sanjiao and bladder; those with tight skin and no hair have a tense Sanjiao and bladder. Those with beautiful and coarse hair have a straight Sanjiao and bladder; those with sparse hair have a knotted Sanjiao and bladder."
The Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian has sixty-three acupoints, starting from Jingming (BL1) and Cuanzhu (BL2), heading towards Qucha (BL6) and Wuchu (BL7); then Chengguang (BL7) and Tongtian (BL8). One sees the course of Luoque (BL9) and Yuzhen (BL11). Tianzhu (BL10) stands high, Dazhu (BL11) reaches down, Fengmen (BL12) opens, and Feishu (BL13) is positioned correctly. This is the meeting point of the Jueyin pericardium and diaphragm, and the storage sites for the Liver, Gallbladder, Spleen, and Stomach organs. Also present are the Back-Shu points for the Sanjiao, Kidney, Large Intestine, and Small Intestine, as well as Pangguangshu (BL28), Zhonglvshu (BL29), and Baihuanxia (BL30). From Dazhu (BL11) to here, the distance is within half a cun from the midline of the spine. There are also Shangsiao (BL31), Cixiao (BL32), Zhongsiao (BL33), and Xiasiao (BL34), located in the four holes of the waist to harmonize and regulate, while Huiyang (BL35) resides beside the coccyx. Thus, the two rows of acupoints on my back are completed. Moving up again, beside the second vertebra is Fufen (BL17) (two cun lateral to the midline below the second vertebra? Note: Text says 3 cun), beside the third vertebra is Pohu (BL42), Gaohuang (BL43) runs alongside the fourth vertebra, passing through Shentang (BL44), Yixi (BL45), Gegan (BL46), Hunmen (BL47), Yanggang (BL48), Yishe (BL49), Weicang (BL50), Mangmen (BL51), Zhishi (BL52), Baoyu (BL53). The back points are divided by Zhibian (BL54), Chengfu (BL36), Fuxi (BL38), and Weiyang (BL39), Yinmen (BL37), Weizhong (BL40), Heyang (BL38? Note: Text implies sequence), until Chengjin (BL55) and Chengshan (BL57), reaching Feiyang (BL58), meeting Fuyang (BL59) at Kunlun (BL60), Pucan (BL61), Shenmai (BL62), exploring Jinmen (BL63) and Jinggu (BL64 - Note: Jinggu is BL64 but usually listed in foot Taiyang, text lists it here contextually or error in source numbering/listing logic, sticking to text entities), the field of Shangu (BL65? Note: Text says Jinggu), connecting through Shugu (BL65) and Tonggu (BL66), reaching the area between Xiaozhi (Little Finger) and Zhiyin (BL67).
The Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian begins at Jingming (BL1) in the inner canthus of the eye. Cuanzhu (BL2) is taken in the depression at the eyebrow. Qucha (BL6) is five fen above the hairline. Wuchu (BL7) is one cun above the hairline. Chengguang (BL7? Note: Text lists Chengguang after Wuchu, standard is BL7 Chengguang, BL6 Qucha. Text order: Wuchu, Chengguang, Tongtian...) is two and a half cun above the hairline. Tongtian (BL8), Luoque (BL9), and Yuzhen (BL11) should be viewed as evenly spaced one and a half cun apart. Yuzhen (BL11) is one cun three fen behind the brain, appearing under the hairline two cun in, showing the occipital bone. Tianzhu (BL10) is in the middle of the hairline at the nape, revealed in the depression outside the large tendon. From here, opening one and a half cun from the spine: the first is Tianzhu (BL10), the second is Fengmen (BL12), the third vertebra is Feishu (BL13), the fourth vertebra is Jueyinxinshu (BL14). Below the fifth vertebra discusses Xinshu (BL15). The seventh vertebra is Ganshu (BL18), the ninth is Danshu (BL19), the eleventh is Pishu (BL20), the twelfth is Weishu (BL21), the thirteenth is Sanjiaoshu (BL22), the fourteenth is Shenshu (BL23) (Pohu (BL42) faces Feishu (BL13), Shentang (BL44) faces Xinshu (BL15), Hunmen (BL47) faces Ganshu (BL18), Yishe (BL49) faces Pishu (BL20), Zhishi (BL52) faces Shenshu (BL23). Because the Lung stores Po, the Heart stores Shen, the Liver stores Hun, the Spleen stores Yi, and the Kidney stores Zhi, these are called the Five Spirit Stores). The sixteenth vertebra below is Dachangshu (BL25), the eighteenth is Xiaochangshu (BL27), the nineteenth is Pangguangshu (BL28), Zhonglvneishu (BL29) is at the twentieth vertebra, and Baihuanxia (BL30) is directly below the twentieth vertebra (Baihuanxia is also Yaoshu). The above points can be arranged. Furthermore, Shangsiao (BL31), Cixiao (BL32), Zhongsiao (BL33), and Xiasiao (BL34) are good in the lumbar spaces of one, two, three, and four. Huiyang (BL35) is beside the yin tail and sacral bone. The various points of the two rows on the back are finished. Again, opening three cun from the spine, below the second vertebra is Fufen (BL17), the third vertebra is Pohu (BL42), the fourth is Gaohuang (BL43), the fifth vertebra below is Shentang (BL44), the sixth is Yixi (BL45), the seventh is Gegan (BL46), the ninth is Hunmen (BL47), the tenth is Yanggang (BL48), the eleventh has Yishe (BL49), the twelfth Weicang (BL50) is clearly distinguished, the thirteenth Mangmen (BL51) stands upright, the fourteenth Zhishi (BL52) need not be discussed, the nineteenth Baomang (Note: Text says Baomang, likely typo for Baoyu or similar, but extracting entity as written or correcting to standard if obvious? Text says "Baomang", likely "Baoyu" or error. I will extract "Baomang" as per text or assume typo for Baoyu/Baihuan? Text says "Shijiu Baomang Ershi Zhibian". Standard is Baoyu BL53 at L4. I will list "Baomang" as extracted or correct to "Baoyu"? Rule: Extract explicitly. Text says "Baomang". I will use "Baomang" or note it's likely Baoyu. For safety, I'll extract "Baomang" if strictly following text, but "Baoyu" is the standard term. Given the instruction "Extract entities... do not infer", I must stick to text. However, "Baomang" is not a standard point. It is likely a typo for "Baoyu". I will extract "Baoyu" if I consider it a clear typo, or "Baomang" if strict. Let's look at "Fu Xi" vs "Fu Pi". Text says "Fu Xi" (floating gap?) actually "Fu Xi" is not a point, "Fu Pi" (BL38) is. Text says "Fu [blank]". I will extract what is readable. "Fu [blank]" -> likely Fu Pi. "Baomang" -> likely Baoyu. I will extract standard names where the text is clearly a typo for a standard point to ensure utility, or stick to text. Let's stick to text characters for extraction if possible, but for knowledge graph, standard names are better. I will extract "Baoyu" assuming typo correction for accuracy, or "Baomang" if strict. Let's go with "Baoyu" as it fits the pattern "Zhibian". Actually, looking at "Fu [blank]", it is likely "Fu Pi". I will extract "Fupi". For "Baomang", I will extract "Baoyu". Wait, rule says "Only extract entities explicitly appearing". If I extract "Baoyu" and text says "Baomang", I violate rule. I will extract "Baomang" and "Fuxi" (if that's what the blank is) or just the visible chars. Visible: "Fu [space]". "Baomang". I will extract "Baomang" and leave "Fuxi" out or put "Fupi" if I can read the blur? No, I can't. I will extract "Baomang" and "Fupi" is not visible. I will extract "Baomang".
Actually, re-reading: "Chengfu Ju Yu Xian Zhong Zhu, Fu [blank] Fu Xia Fang Liu Fen". The character is missing. I cannot extract it.
"Shijiu Baomang". I will extract "Baomang".
"Ershi Zhibian".
Back row 3 points are even. Again from buttock below Yin Gong Qu, Chengfu (BL36) resides in the depression governing, Fu [missing] is six fen below Chengfu, Weiyang (BL39) is one cun six fen below Chengfu. Yinmen (BL37) is one cun long below Chengfu, located in the middle and outer aspect of the thigh between two tendons. Weizhong (BL40) is in the popliteal crease. Three cun below this, seek Heyang (BL38). Chengjin (BL55) is seven cun above the calf skirt, the point is in the center of the [missing char, likely Fei/Gastrocnemius] muscle. Chengshan (BL57) is in the fleshy separation below the calf. Feiyang (BL58) is seven cun above the external malleolus. Fuyang (BL59) is three cun above the external malleolus. Kunlun (BL60) is in the central depression of the external heel. Pucan (BL61) is also below the ankle bone. Shenmai (BL62) spreads five fen below the ankle. Jinmen (BL63) is one cun below Shenmai. Jinggu (BL64) is measured at the lateral bone margin. Shugu (BL65) is in the depression behind the metatarsophalangeal joint. Tonggu (BL66) is calculated in the depression before the joint. Zhiyin (BL67) is on the side of the little finger. The above points belong to the Bladder meridian (Total sixty-three points, left and right one hundred twenty-six).
